(Monday Morning)
Katie just walked down the stairs she was still in he pj's. Her mom and dad were sitting at the table with coffee cups and eating a danish her mom just made yesterday. Espeon was still in her room and Glaceon was sitting in the front room next to the couch. Katie walked over to him.
"I take Andrew's not up yet?" Katie asked Glaceon.
"Gal Gal," responded Glaceon.
"How about we go wake him up," said Katie.
Glaceon stood up and wagged his tail in excitement. Before the two of them walked over to the guest room Espeon found her way down from Katie's room and joined her and Glaceon walking to the room. Katie slowly opened the door to see Andrew still out cold stretched out on the bed. Katie squatted down to talk to Glaceon.
"So you want to do the honors?" Katie asked Glaceon.
"Gal," responded Glaceon with his tail wagging.
Glaceon walked slowly into the room and took spot near the side of the bed Andrew was sleeping on and before Glaceon could do anything Andrew said something.
"Glaceon if you do what I think you are going to do you'll be sleeping outside," Andrew said groggily.
Katie laughed from behind the door letting Andrew know that she was out there. After saying that he sat up in the bed and looked at the door. Katie and her Espeon walked fast away from the door and up the stairs. Andrew looked down at Glaceon and he hopped up onto the bed and sat next to him. Andrew got out of bed and walked over to his backpack and grabbed a baggy of pokemon food from it. It was Glaceon's food all he needed was some berries which he didn't pack. He then left the room and walked into the front room.
"Hey sleepy head," said Micheal from the couch.
"Hi. Do you guys have a berry shop near by. I need to go get some I forgot to pack some from my house," replied Andrew.
"Yeah we do. Just go ask Katie to take you over to it," said Micheal.
"Thanks for letting me know," replied Andrew.
Andrew walked up the stairs and over to Katie's room her door was open and she was sitting on her bed reading a book she had on her nightstand Espeon was next to her. Andrew knocked on the door and Katie looked up from the book she was reading and over at the door.
"Morning Andrew, sleep well?" asked Katie with a smile on her face.
"Yeah till someone tired to convince my Glaceon to wake me up," replied Andrew.
"I wonder who would do that," said Katie trying to hide a smile.
"Yeah I do too. I think I might have a person in mind," replied Andrew.
"Who could that be?" asked Katie still smiling.
"Hmm. I think the person might be a young blonde female that might also be my girlfriend," replied Andrew.
"You got me I'm sorry if I woke you up. I just couldn't resist doing it," said Katie trying to hide from laughing.
"Its fine. Anyway do mind showing me where the berry shop is?" asked Andrew.
"Sure just let me get dressed then we can go," replied Katie.
"I have to go dressed to I'm not walking around shorts and a white t-shirt," said Andrew.
Andrew walked down the stairs and back into the guest room. He got dressed in the bathroom and put his shoes on while sitting on the bed. He opened his backpack and grabbed his belt which had his six pokeballs on it and put it on. He then returned Glaceon and he then put his mega ring on and last but on least his hat before going back into the front room to wait for Katie.
"So Andrew how'd you enjoy the firework show last night?" asked Micheal.
"I enjoyed I couldn't believe how much fireworks they shot off. What you guys shot off last night is about what Sacramento does on the 4th of July," replied Andrew.
"I didn't see many of the fireworks last night I was busy, but from what I heard it was great show," said Micheal.
"I bet you were busy from the cup on the coffee table I could see you drank a little to much last night," replied Andrew.
"I'd be lying if I say I didn't so I did, but at least I can hold my own after a few because someone at the 'adult party' last night threw up. I believe it was one of the Anderson's if I'm right," said Micheal.
Katie just walked down the stairs and joined Andrew in the front room. She had a bright blue shirt on with a white skirt on she had a flats on as well. Her hair was pulled in a pony and had her normal glasses on.
"Well my beautiful daughter you look nice to again," said Micheal.
"She does look nice today honey," commented Michelle.
Katie tried to hide a blush from her parents at their comments. She then looked at Andrew seeing if he caught anything.
"You ready to go?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah," replied Katie.
The two of them left the house and started walking down the street over to the berry shop.
"You do look nice today Katie," said Andrew.
"Not you too Andrew," replied Katie.
"What, I'm not one for lying that's all and can't I complement you," said Andrew.
They made it over to the berry shop and walked in. One whiff of air in the building and you could smell al the berries that this shop had. Katie grabbed a little cart and they walked isle to isle looking through the berries.
"Why are you buying berries?" asked Katie.
"I have to feed my pokemon when I get back to your house. All my pokemon get berries mixed with their food all but Lucario he usually just gets berries. I forgot to bring some from home so I have to buy some," replied Andrew.
"What do you mean you mix berries with their food?" asked Katie.
"When I mix berries they get a healthier and more nutritious meal. That's what helps get them through training and battles. I have been doing this for a while now and they just love eating it," replied Andrew.
"You think you could some of that food to mine?" asked Katie.
"Sure I can I'll need to get more food later this week, but that's fine," replied Andrew.
"Ok thank you," said Katie hugging Andrew.
Andrew grabbed a basket full of a variety of berries. The cashier weighted the basket and then showed Andrew the price for it. Andrew took out his wallet and paid for the berries and Andrew and Katie left. On the way back to the house Andrew and Katie ran into Emma, Brady, and Zac. Zac got back to Boston this morning from Madison.
"Hi Katie," said Zac.
"Hi Zac," replied Katie.
"Hi Andrew," said Zac.
"Same to you Zac," replied Andrew.
"Brady and Emma here were just talking about the firework show last night. How was for you two?" asked Zac.
Andrew looked at Katie before she answered Zac.
"It was great I had a lot fun," replied Katie.
"I'm sorry I missed then, but I was battling Adrian for a second time beating him finally. He wasn't the easiest gym," said Zac.
"I swept through his entire team with two of my pokemon. My Absol and Serperior," replied Katie.
Zack looked unimpressed by what Katie just said and was not to happy to see Andrew here either. After the short conversation Andrew and Katie walked back to the house and Zac, Brady, and Emma walked in the direction towards the trainer's school.
(At the House)
Andrew and Katie walked through the front door and into the kitchen. Her mom and dad were now sitting in the front room watching some TV they had some time before the opening of the carnival and they wanted to spend it relaxing.
"Mom, Where can we put the berries we don't use?" asked Katie.
"Depending how much is left you can either put them in the fridge or leave out on the table," replied Michelle.
"Thanks Mom," said Katie.
Andrew and Katie walked into the backyard and called out all of their pokemon. Andrew laid out 12 bowls and then filled it with the berry food mixture and all the pokemon at it up. His Lucario was leaning against a tree eating berries Andrew gave him. Torterra mowed down the bowl in front of so did Charizard and Flygon. Mawile didn't waste single bite of food neither did Absol you seemed to really enjoy the food. Pidgeotto pecked each bite. Greninja was a rather slow eater always checking around same for Sliggoo. Glaceon sniffed the bowl and eat bite by bite. Espeon ate slower than others as well. All the pokemon were done 20 minutes after starting to feed them. Andrew returned his six pokemon so did Katie before walking back into the house to see her parents just leaving the front room and going towards the stairs.
"Katie we are about to head over to the booth so get some breakfast and be ready to go," said Micheal before going upstairs.
"Yes dad we will," replied Katie.
Andrew and Katie both got a danish and sat at the table and ate it before leaving the house before her parents did. The two of them walked over to the park and could see everyone already walking through many of the open booths.
(At the Park)
Andrew and Katie both set the booth up just before her parents arrived. Her dad was carrying a large ice cooler. Her mom had a lot of papers in her hands. Andrew helped Micheal set the cooler down on the grass behind while Katie helped her mom set the papers down.
"So Micheal what do you guys do here at the booth?" asked Andrew.
"We have berry pies and a large variety of them at that. They are all homemade by my loving wife," replied Micheal.
"You guys sell them?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we do," replied Micheal.
"Do you guys mail the around the US?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we do. We freeze them before sending them in ice," replied Micheal.
"Then I need to buy some before you stop selling them," said Andrew.
"Why if I may ask Andrew?" asked Micheal.
"I thought I would send some to my family in California. I may not be able to spend many holidays with them, but it shows they are in my thoughts," replied Andrew.
"That's really nice of you to do that," said Micheal.
There's not much else I can do really do," replied Andrew.
"Why if you don't mind me asking?" asked Micheal.
"For most of the holidays the Pokemon League puts on something. All but thanksgiving, but why fly all the way out there and fly back one day later," replied Andrew.
"I believe Katie and everyone is coming here for thanksgiving you are more than welcome to join us," said Micheal.
"We are dad," said Katie overhearing Andrew and Micheal's conversation.
"I might just do that," replied Andrew.
"You know you want to Andrew. My mom makes the best pies you just have to try them," teased Katie.
"You make saying no to things impossible," joked Andrew
"Well that is my job Andrew I'm suppose to be like that," replied Katie sticking her tongue out.
They set a few more things on the table and then they were done.
"Since we are all set up why don't you two get out of here we can handle it," said Micheal.
"Are you sure dad?' asked Katie.
"Yeah, go have fun show Andrew around," replied Micheal.
After they left Michelle said something to her husband.
"They are a really good looking couple," said Michelle.
"What do you mean honey?" asked Micheal.
"Well look at those two. I haven't seen Katie that happy in awhile she seems like a differnet person when Andrew is around and I'm glad for her and from what I've heard about Andrew, he's completely differnet then everyone makes him sound like when he is around our daughter," replied Michelle.
"I think that's because of our lovely daughter," said Micheal.
"You might be right," replied Michelle before kissing her husband.
Andrew and Katie left the booth and started to walk around. They went up and down rows of booths and as they walked near an area. Tommy and his two stooges walked over to the two of them.
"Look at the lovely couple," said Tommy with some tone in his voice getting people's attention.
"Tommy stop it now," replied Katie getting angry.
"No, not till I have some words with Andrew here," snarled Tommy.
"Tommy just walk away. This is pointless and you know it," replied Andrew with a calm demeanor.
"Andrew, you're just so full of yourself I don't understand how you could get someone like Katie," replied Tommy.
Katie was about to speak up, but before she could Andrew spoke up again.
"You're acting like a kid you got his toy taken away. Your pouting and I have had just enough of it. I bet many people have, just shut up and walk away I have no problems with you disliking me it's nothing new to me," said Andrew.
Tommy shut up right after that and walked off. Andrew and Katie continued on their way through the booths set up. It was about 20 minutes later before they were stopped again this time by Seth this time. Seth walked straight up to Andrew.
"Andrew Hanson I challenge you to a battle," said Seth.
"I'm seriously getting tried of people like you Seth. You need to learn some manners and it's best I put you in our place right here right now," replied Andrew.
Andrew, Katie, and Seth followed by a lot of people walked over to the little arena set up in the park. People just seats everywhere they could. Andrew took one side of the arena and Seth was on the other. Among those watching were the likes of Brady, Emma, Zac, Tommy and his stooges and Katie's parents who left their booth attended to by Mrs. Anderson or Brady's Mom. of all the people you could ref this match it was Katie's dad who choose to do it and took his spot. Just before the match started even Brady's dad Joe showed up. he couldn't miss an opportunity to see Andrew at work.
"I should let you two know I haven't refed a battle in awhile," said Micheal.
"It's fine," replied Andrew.
"What are the rules then?" asked Micheal.
"I say six on six both of us can substitute at any time during the match. We'll take a short break after either three of our pokemon are done," said Andrew.
"That works for me," replied Seth.
(Pokemon Battle: Andrew vs. Seth)
"This will be a six on six battle between Andrew and Seth. Both of our trainers here can substitute at any time. We'll take a quick break when either of these trainers first three pokemon have fainted. After the break we will then resume the battle till we have a winner. If both trainers are ready Andrew you can call out your pokemon first," said Micheal.
"Go Torterra," said Andrew.
"Go Quagsire," said Seth.
"You can have the first move Seth," said Andrew.
"It's odd to see Andrew here start off with defense when I seen him battle my dad he went right out to Gengar. The good thing is he is an easier target to hit with a Quagsire ice attack," thought Seth.
"Come on Seth," said Andrew.
"Fine if you want to die so quickly. Quagsire use ice punch,"
"Torterra use protect,"
Torterra brought up a green shield just as Quagsire was moving towards him. One of his hands was covered in an icy mist. He punched the shield and it did nothing. He tried again and still nothing happened.
"Torterra drop the shield and use energy ball,"
Torterra dropped the shield which allowed Quagsire to rush at him and try to hit an ice punch, but as he was about swing his hand into Torterra he took a ball of green energy to the gut and that sent him flying back landing right in front of his trainer. Quagsire slowly got back to his feet.
"Quagsire use recover,"
"I don't think so. Torterra use giga drain,"
Torterra let out a cry and sent vines right at Quagsire who had just turned green trying to recover. These vines wrapped him nice and tight and he started to drain Quagsire's energy. Just as quickly as Quagsire could regain energy from the recover it was taken away. It was taken away at a faster pace then he was recover.
"Quagsire use ice beam,"
Quagsire tried to attack but the energy it took to make an attack was just gone those vines nearly drainer Quagsire dry before letting up and coming back to Torterra. Quagsire just stood there slouched over. Seth just stood there and turned his back to his Quagsire not giving out a single order.
"I'm sorry Quagsire. Torterra use leaf storm,"
Torterra ruffled some leaves on his tree on his back and sent a storm of those leaves at Quagsire. Quagsire turned his back to look at his trainer to give an attack but none came and when Quagsire turned back around the storm of leaves nailed him and cut and starched him and he fell to the ground.
"Quagsire is unable to battle Torterra wins," said Micheal.
"Quagsire return and go Darmanitan," said Seth.
"Return Torterra and go Greninja," said Andrew.
(Off in the Crowd)
"This should be interesting," commented Katie.
"Why?" asked Brady.
"Andrew, caught that Greninja as a Froakie in Richmond with me. I haven't seen it since it was Froakie so I have no idea what it can do now, but knowing Andrew he worked hard with pokemon to be the best it can," replied Katie.
"So this is more than likely his first battle since evolving," said Brady.
"This could be, but still Greninja has Darmanitan beat," replied Katie.
(Back to the Battle)
"Darmanitan use flamethrower,"
"Really a fire attack that's really foolish of you. Greninja use hydro pump,"
Greninja stood up turned all blue and sent a torrent of water in the direction of Darmanitan. Darmanitan sent a stream of fire at that torrent of water. It did absolutely nothing to stop the water from coming at him. The water nailed Darmanitan in the face he could do nothing but stand there and take the water.
"Return Darmanitan, and go Victreebel," said Seth.
"Greninja show him ice beam,"
Greninja turned light blue and sent a beam of rigid ice at Victreebel.
"Victreebel use protect,"
While the rigid beam was coming at him. Victreebel brought up a green shield that would protect him from the ice attack. The ice attack hit the shield and was sent into the air.
"Victreebel now use leaf blade,"
Victreebel hopped his way over to Greninja who just stood there. The leaves on the sides of Victreebel became sharp and pointy.
"Greninja now," replied Andrew.
Greninja hopped into the air and above Victreebel making it hard for him to cut Greninja like it would have mattered anyway because Greninja was an ice type and grass is not really effective against ice. Before coming down Greninja sent a rigid beam of ice down at Victreebel. Everyone watching witnessed Victreebel get hit by this beam and froze.
"Greninja use dark pulse,"
Once again Seth turned his back to his pokemon. This was really starting to get to Andrew. Andrew stood there and watched has his ninja pokemon turn all black and send a pulse of dark energy at the frozen grass pokemon. This pulse shattered the ice prison that trapped Victreebel and blasted him back to right in front of his trainer.
"Victreebel is unable to battle, Greninja wins," said Micheal.
"Victreebel return and go Toxicroak," said Seth.
"Return Greninja and go Glaceon," said Andrew.
After seeing Glaceon pop out of his pokeball, Seth had a big grin on his face he knew that he had the advantage. He was going to make to use this advantage. Little did he know Andrew was more than aware of what he was doing. He expected Seth to try and hit Glaceon with a fighting attack.
"Glaceon use hail,"
Glaceon sent a ball of ice into the sky and then it started to snow. This snow covered the arena making Glaceon nearly impossible to see.
"Toxicroak use poison jab,"
Toxicroak looked back at his trainer with a look saying how can I hit something I cant see. Don't look at me like that go find him and attack. Toxicroak's hand became coated in a poisonous sludge. He looked around where Glaceon was standing before the arena was covered in snow. Toxicroak hit the snow twice with his hand coated in poison but that was to no avail.
"Glaceon use ice beam on his feet,"
A rigid blue beam was sent out of the snow behind Toxicroak and it nailed his feet in place. Toxicroak looked afraid of what was going to happen next, he wasn't the only one who knew what was next so did Seth he didn't even bother to return him he just turned and faced away.
"Glaceon finish this with blizzard,"
Glaceon let out a cry and whipped up a storm. This storm nailed Toxicroak and once the storm was over Toxicroak was laying in the snow. his hands were frozen and some of the top of his head was too.
"Toxicroak is unable to battle, Glaceon wins. This will mark 3 eliminated for Seth we will now take a short break before resuming the battle," said Micheal.
Seth retuned his Toxicroak and walked off the arena. Andrew returned Glaceon before walking over to where Katie was sitting. He took a seat next to her.
(Halftime)
"Andrew, you ok?" asked Katie.
"Yeah, I just don't like how Seth is using his pokemon. The way he treats pokemon makes my blood boil. It's just annoying," replied Andrew.
Katie set her hand on his shoulder and smiled. Andrew looked at her and smiled back. Micheal walked over to them.
"I almost fill sorry for Seth over there he had all this confidence before the battle, but now it's completely differnet he just looks away not even giving his pokemon a command before the round ends," said Micheal.
"I know what you mean after the battle I'll definitely talk to him. I need to give him a wake up call that things have to change. With any luck he'll listen to me too and take what I say to heart," replied Andrew.
"One can only hope," said Micheal.
"I couldn't agree more," chuckled Andrew.
"I guess we better get back to it then," said Micheal.
Andrew and Micheal walked back over to the arena and a few moments after they did Seth returned to the arena. He took his spot and both trainers got ready to continue the battle.
(The End of the Battle)
"Seth you'll call out your pokemon first now," said Micheal.
"Go Noctowl," said Seth.
"Go Flygon," said Andrew.
"Noctowl use zen headbutt,"
"Flygon use dragon tail,"
The horn made of feathers on his head turned blue as he flew at Flygon. Flygon's large tail turned white and once Noctowl reached him, Flygon slammed that large tail into him and sent him crashing into the ground.
"Noctowl use air slash,"
"Flygon use flamethrower,"
Flygon sent a stream of fire at Noctowl who flapped his wings hard and sent scythe like blades of air at Flygon. These blades of air cut through the flamethrower all the way at Flygon. The blades slashed Flygon's belly, but didn't do to much to him.
"Noctowl use steel wing,"
"Flygon use sandstorm,"
Flygon flapped his large wings and kicked up a dirt like tornado that that trapped Noctowl.
"Flygon lets finish this up use hyper beam,"
Flygon charged up and sent a beam of orange right into the tornado. The beam nailed Noctowl and sent him flying out of the tornado and into the ground right in front of Seth. He looked shocked at what just happened to his Noctowl. Andrew's Flygon made short work of Noctowl with a combo that could be difficult to beat.
"Noctowl is unable to battle, Flygon wins," said Micheal.
"Return Noctowl and go Seviper," said Seth.
"Return Flygon and go Lucario," said Andrew.
"So it looks like your going to try and beat my Seviper with a fighting type. I can't wait to see you plan on doing that," said Seth with his still cocky attitude.
"I don't need to try and beat it I know Lucario can beat him even with Seviper not taking much from a fighting type. So cut the attitude and learn some respect since clearly you have none. You have none for the one thing that stands by your side even with your terrible attitude your pokemon," replied Andrew.
Seth snickered some smart remark back at Andrew. Andrew didn't even hear what he said and at this point didn't really care.
"Seth I don't get it. I give you some advice and clearly you don't want any and why is that?" asked Andrew.
"I don't need some advice from a hack trainer. And the only reason you are Champion is because of your two mega pokemon without them your nothing," replied Seth.
"Your problem is you don't like the advice of others that you think are below you, but with or without a mega evolved pokemon I am here because of my ability to raise, train, and battle with my pokemon," said Andrew.
"That is because you are below me in everything pokemon. I have trained my pokemon better, I have raised them, and clearly I can battle better than anyone here in Boston," replied Seth.
"You sure have a big mouth. You need to learn to keep it shut and humble because clearly I can see at least two trainers here better than you other than myself," said Andrew.
"Who could that be?" asked Seth.
"Katie and Brady. Those two are going to go far, don't get me wrong Emma is a good trainer too, but from what I've heard from the gym leaders she still making mistakes," replied Andrew.
"I can beat them any day just like anyone in the Champion's Cup. There isn't one trainer taking part that has my skills," said Seth.
"You are way too overconfident in yourself when you haven't been able to beat one of my pokemon. I can think of a trainer who has taken out three of my best pokemon, and Daniel's Blaziken didn't back down even in mega form when he went one on one with my mega Charizard he even took an outrage attack," replied Andrew.
"I'm not afraid of a mega pokemon neither are my pokemon," said Seth.
Andrew looked down at his mega ring on his left wrist and then back at Lucario who was now looking back at him. Lucario knew exactly what Andrew was thinking about doing and he let Andrew know that he wants him to do it with a growl. Andrew looked up with a smile on his face.
"We should see if you can handle a mega pokemon. Lucario, it time. Mega Evolution," said Andrew pressing his mega ring.
Lucario was encased in a sphere of his own aura .Before all the aura disappears Lucario lets out a loud growl which startled Seth's Seviper. Lucario looked considerably different. Lucario's cream colored fur has become longer. He has also developed extra spikes on his paws. Lucario's appendages grew longer and two had red on their tips. He also had spikes on his shoulders. His aura heignthing increased. He know had black lines on his blue fur.
Seth's Seviper looked at him and then looked back at hi trainer. Seviper's face looked like please fight don't want to fight that. Seth didn't acknowledge the look Seviper gave him.
"Seviper use flamethrower,"
Seviper stopped looking at Seth a sent a stream of fire from his mouth at Lucario.
"Lucario use aura sphere,"
Lucario made two small balls of aura in each paw. He then brought both paws together and sent a blast of aura at the flamethrower. The blast completely over took the flamethrower and nailed Seviper picking up off the ground and into a tree behind Seth. The Seviper fell to the ground under the tree and fainted.
"Seviper is unable to battle, Lucario wins," said Micheal.
"How? I don't get it that attack isn't the least bit effective to a poison type why did it do so much damage," asked Seth.
"A well trained pokemon can beat any odds put in front of them if given the opportunity," Andrew replied simply.
"A well trained...whatever it's just because he's mega that's all," said Seth mocking Andrew.
Andrew didn't seem to be to amused by that or he really didn't care all Seth had was one pokemon left and Andrew already knew he was going to stick with his Lucario here.
"Return Seviper and go I guess Krokorok," said Seth just giving up.
"Krokorok use crunch,"
"Lucario use close combat,"
Krokorok ran at Lucario with his mouth open showing off his sharp teeth. Lucario stood there and waited for the right moment just as he was about to bite down on him Lucario delivered a powerful punch to the gut that stopped Krokorok. Lucario then delivered a kick to the head. This caused Krokorok to fall to the ground and Lucario to breath heavily.
"Krokorok is unable to battle, Lucario wins. Andrew is the winner," said Micheal.
Seth just walked off leaving Krokorok laying in the middle of the arena.
"Hey Seth you forgot your pokemon" yelled Andrew.
"I don't need a weak pokemon so he's no longer mine," replied Seth as he made his way to the exit of Boston.
(After the Battle)
Andrew thought about going after him, but Katie grabbed his hand and that stopped his train of thought. He looked at her. She kept looking back at him and at Krokorok
"Andrew, he's not worth it. Let's just get Krokorok here to the Pokemon Center," said Katie as if she knew what Andrew was thinking.
'You're right lets get him there," replied Andrew.
"How are we going to get him there?" asked Katie.
Just after she asked Krokorok just came and he was looking around for his trainer, but he couldn't find him. He looked at the ground and thought about digging down, but he was to tried to. Andrew and Katie walked over to him and reassured him that he is ok. Krokorok looked at both them and stood up. Andrew and Katie helped over to the Pokemon Center where the Nurse took care of him from there.
(Later in the Day back at the House)
Andrew and Katie were in the front room on one couch Brady, Emma, and Zac were sitting on the floor, Micheal was enjoying his favorite seat in the front room while his wife was making dinner.
"So Em what's the plans tonight?" asked Micheal.
"Well dad the trainer's school we went to his having a Halloween Party and they invited all the teens who went there over the last year or who are currently going," replied Emma.
"I take it you and Brady are going," said Micheal.
"Yeah we are," replied Emma.
Micheal then turns his attention to Katie and Andrew.
"So Katie are you going?" asked Micheal.
"I'm not sure yet dad," replied Katie.
"Why not?" asked Micheal.
"I'm just not into that stuff. For one I don't like going to parties I don't even let you throw me birthday parties here. All I like is we have some friends over and hang out like we did this year. And two I don't like loud music and all that dancing I don't dance I can't," replied Katie.
"That's no excuse not to go," said Micheal.
Katie looks over at Andrew sitting next her she smiled at him before looking back at her dad.
"I guess if Andrew wants to come with me I'll go," Katie said giving into her dad.
"I have no problem going with you," said Andrew.
"Cool just don't expect me to dance," replied Katie.
"I wouldn't ask you to do something I'm not even good like dancing," said Andrew.
"So Em is there a dress code?" asked Katie.
"No, you can wear what you have on is just fine. It's not like the Party at the Park Saturday night where you have to wear a costume," replied Emma.
"When does it start?" asked Katie.
"It starts in two hours at 8pm and runs till 11pm," replied Emma.
"Ok," said Katie.
"Dinner is ready come and get it," said Michelle.
Everyone in the front room walked into the dinning room and took a seat at the table. At one end of the table was Micheal and to his left was Andrew and Katie to his right Emma, Brady, and Zac, and at the other across from him was his wife. After everyone finished the food in front of them Michelle walked back into the kitchen and dished out slices of pie. She gave each person a plate with a piece of pie and some whip cream. After they finished eating the pie they all went back to sitting in the front room all but Andrew. After seeing him walk in there Katie walked in there as well.
"Andrew what are you busy with?" asked Katie.
"Not much, just have to respond to the message I got from Marc that's all," replied Andrew.
"We'll have to check on Krokorok tomorrow," said Katie laying on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"Yeah, we will with any luck we can get him a home," replied Andrew.
"Why do trainer's do that?" asked Katie.
"That's an interesting question Katie. I think trainers don't care about their pokemon enough to want to train them if they are weak. When all a trainer would have to do is just work with that pokemon and it'll get better," replied Andrew.
"Andrew, I need to talk to you about Absol," said Katie.
"What about?" asked Andrew.
"When I was battling Adrian. He as well as I noticed that some of the power Absol got in my battle with Sara had lingering effects he called what happened Hypermode and he said something about Daniel knowing about it," replied Katie.
"If you are right and it is Hypermode I'll have to introduce you to Daniel and he'll be able to talk to you about it more then I could. So I think he'll be in Kansas City around the same time as you and I for his friend's Contest so when we get some free time we'll go talk to him," said Andrew.
"Good if I can get a good handle on it then maybe when he uses it I can control it better," replied Katie.
"That's the plan," said Andrew.
Emma walks into the room and lets both of them know that they'll be leaving in 30 minutes so if they want to change they have to do it now.
"Andrew, I'll be back I'm going to go shower and get changed," said Katie.
Katie then leaves the room and after she does Andrew closes the door and takes a shower. He then gets dressed and lets out Glaceon from his pokeball before putting the others in his backpack alongside his mega ring. He then opens the door and joins Emma who was in a dress. Brady and Zac, and they were all waiting on Katie. After waiting about 5 more minutes she came down it a dress again whit her hair down rather than in a ponytail. They left shortly after Katie came down.
(At the School)
Once at the school they walked through the gate and followed the path over to the auditorium. Walking inside the auditorium you could see it was all decked out in Halloween decorations and had music playing from the stage in the auditorium. Brady, Emma, and Zac walked over to a group of friends hanging out a table in the back. Andrew and Katie took a seat at another table.
"Your schools' auditorium is bigger than the at mine," said Andrew.
"This is the second one we have bigger one in the middle of the school. It also acts as a cafeteria," replied Katie.
Andrew gets up and makes his way to the restroom leaving Katie sitting there waiting for him till Tommy and his two stooges walk over and sit down across from her at the table. After they took a seat Emma and Zac took a seat near her too. Brady went to go wash up in the bathroom. Katie looked around at all of them before looking away at her phone.
"Katie, please listen to what I have to say, before you get up and leave," said Tommy.
"No, Once Andrew comes back we're leaving," replied Katie looking past them to see if Andrew is coming.
"I'm not asking for much of you time I just want you to hear what I have to say," said Tommy.
"Tommy can't you just leave me alone and find someone else. I'm happy with Andrew and that's that," replied Katie standing and walking over to Andrew as he was walking back.
Katie explained everything to Andrew and they walked to another table and took a seat. The two of them spent another hour there and ended up leaving before it ended. After leaving Andrew and Katie walked over this small ice cream parlor and got ice cream. They ended leaving back to the house after eating their ice cream her parents were in the front room enjoying a movie on the TV.
(Back at the House)
"You two are home early," commented Micheal.
"Yeah, I just didn't want to be there anymore and Andrew didn't care we left so we left and stopped and got ice cream of J's Ice Cream Parlor," replied Katie.
"What?! you stopped there and didn't get me a scoop of rocky road. I love their rocky road ice cream," joked Micheal.
"I'm sorry dad I didn't know you wanted some or I would've asked Andrew here to buy you some," replied Katie.
"I only kid I'm fine, now I want ice cream though," said Micheal.
"Katie and I can go back if you want us too," replied Andrew.
"Ok if you are offering to back let me go get my wallet to give you some money," said Micheal getting up from the couch.
"It's fine I'll pay," replied Andrew.
"Are you sure I can afford it?" asked Micheal.
"Yeah, it's fine you're letting me stay here it's the least I can do," replied Andrew.
They left again after he said that. They walked back over to the ice cream parlor and bought both of Katie's parents ice cream before walking to the house for the evening. It was midnight when Andrew went into the guest room and went to bed fro the evening. Katie went to her room at about the same time. After getting back from the party Emma stayed up for another hour and she went to bed as well. Their parents only stayed up till Emma got home before they went to bed because Micheal had to work.
(Early Tuesday Morning)
It was around 6am when Andrew got up. The house was quiet and he thought he would get some work done before everyone else gets up. So he grabbed his laptop and sent a email to Jen. He then went back to work what he was doing when he was home Saturday. Tom and him were working on a map of water currents near the mysterious underwater cavern Marc found. It was a hard task in itself because the currents surrounding that cavern are way too unpredictable. He heard the coffee pot go off in the kitchen and saw the light go on under his door. He walked over to the door and opened and saw Micheal in the kitchen. He was dressed for work today and was just getting his coffee ready.
"Hey Andrew. You are up way earlier then you were yesterday," said Micheal.
"I had some work I had to get done and rather than taking time from my day when Katie is awake I thought I would do it when no one is," replied Andrew.
"I see. Would you like some coffee before getting back to it?" said Micheal getting a coffee cup down.
"Sure I'll take a cup," replied Andrew.
Micheal reached back into the cabinet and pulled down another cup. He filled both with coffee and then asked Andrew if he wanted cream and sugar. Andrew took both and they both took a seat at the table.
"What type of work so important that you have to get it done?" asked Micheal.
"It's never-ending work. When I fill I answered one question on it a hundred more pop up. It's an endless job," replied Andrew.
"What are you doing if you don't mind me asking?" asked Micheal.
"I probably shouldn't say it but I trust you won't say anything. I'm trying to map out the ocean currents near a cavern in Hawaii my expedition team found," replied Andrew.
"What's in the cavern that has your attention?" asked Micheal.
"Unfortunately I don't want to discuss that at this moment. It's not you I prefer it just to be classified at the moment," replied Andrew.
"I completely understand. There are some aspects of your job that need to be left out of public eye. I for one may not always agree with that aspect I would like to know if we the region are trouble, but then again I respect you all the same," said Micheal.
"I wish those in the public would see that way, but all they say is I'm keeping vital info out that the public has the right to know. I stand behind what I say if it classified just respect that," replied Andrew.
Andrew finishes his coffee before Micheal does Andrew thanks him and walks back into the guest room and right back to work. Micheal finishes his coffee up goes back upstairs gets dressed and leaves for work for the day. Minutes after he left Katie got up and walked downstairs to see if anyone else was up. She saw the lights on in the guest room so she walked over to it and knocked. Andrew opened the door and saw her standing in the door way.
"Good Morning Andrew," said Katie.
"Same to you," replied Andrew.
"You're up earlier," said Katie.
"Yeah like I was explaining to your dad before he left I have some work to get and I thought I would do it while everyone was sleeping," replied Andrew.
"I just came down to get some water before going back to bed," said Katie before yawning.
"I'll see you when you get up then," said Andrew.
Katie smiles before going back to her room and going back to bed. Andrew returned to his work for another 3 hours before everyone got up. After everyone ate and got dressed and they all left the house. Katie continued to show Andrew around Boston before Andrew flew both of them out to a neighbor city to see it. Once they got back to Boston they walked over and checked on Krokorok who is still recovering from the close combat he took in battle with Andrew's Lucario. Emma and Brady spent some hanging out with some of there friends. They were all out till Micheal got home from work. After getting home the whole family left to go out for dinner and catch a late movie.
Another day in Boston is done. We watched Andrew completely embarrass Seth in a battle that was completely one sided. We saw Tommy was up to what he was last time. Andrew and Katie ended up going to a party that they only stayed at for an hour before leaving. Andrew got some early morning work done Tuesday before having an uneventful remainder of the day.

We will pick up on Wednesday on the next chapter. We'll do Wednesday and Thursday in the next chapter. We won't see any more real battle till in DC on Sunday. We'll see a training match between Katie and Emma which ends up turning into a match to see who can out do who. The match will end up be called off because of something that happens to Katie's Absol. Krokorok will also find a new trainer that will take care of him.
