(Wednesday)
It was around 6am, Andrew as hard at work on his laptop. He had been working for an hour now and he was still getting no where. It was the same as yesterday when he thought he was ahead it turned out he was not. He had Tom and the others in the ocean near Hawaii on the phone they were trying to work out a plan to get to the cavern. They were all working at trying to find a way to dive down to the cavern, but with the currents being to unpredictable and the pokemon guarding that cavern the task was not going to be easy. Juan had already tried to swim down to it, but was attacked by a couple of Dragalge. Milotic and Juan were forced back to the surface before even getting near the cavern.
"Marc where exactly are you guys right now?" asked Andrew.
"Well we had to dock earlier today. The water just became to choppy and it knocked the ship around," replied Marc.
"Maybe it's best that we don't enter the cavern," said Andrew.
"I thought the goal was to know for sure that this underwater cavern is home to Kyorge," replied Marc.
"I know it was, but I don't want to put any of you in harms way and the sound of it I could be doing just that. It seems the water pokemon don't want any one in it and thinking about it, it might be smart to do just that," said Andrew.
"It looks like everyone here likes the idea too," replied Marc.
"Then it's settled we ditch the effort to get into the cavern and just assume that Kyorge is there," said Andrew.
"I don't like the idea of assuming that Andrew," Marc said concerningly.
"Then let's think about this. Why else would the pokemon be protecting it? That question alone is a sure sign that something or some pokemon calls that cavern home and just by logically guessing Kyorge fits the bill," Andrew reassured Marc.
"It appears Juan and Tom here agree with you," replied Marc.
"Good, I'll talk to you all later then and remember Marc you have to head back to DC soon for Halloween, said Andrew.
"Quick question Andrew. Have you deiced on who you are going to battle at the Halloween League Event?" asked Marc.
"No I haven't yet I'll let you know if it's you," replied Andrew.
"I kinda hope it is me I have yet to battle you. Morgan and Tina have I just haven't yet," said Marc.
"I'll take that into consideration," replied Andrew.
"I'll see you in DC. Bye," said Marc hanging up.
Just as he hung up his phone there was a knock at the door. He looked at the clock and saw it was now 7am. He said it's open and in walked Katie.
"Good Morning," said Andrew.
"It sure is a good morning," said Katie smiling.
"How long have you been up?" asked Andrew.
"I just got up and I heard you and so I thought I would come down and visit," replied Katie laying down on a pillow on the bed.
"Sorry if I was a little loud I thought I was quiet, but I guess I was wrong," said Andrew.
"No, Andrew you were quiet I was just getting up and I heard you were up down here," replied Katie.
"That's reassuring then I hope I didn't wake anyone up. I have work to get done and this is my free time since your not up and everything," said Andrew.
"That's really sweet of you not to take away time from hanging out with me and my family to do work," said Katie sitting up.
"I try," joked Andrew.
"I know you do and it must hard managing everything you do. I could only guess you don't get much sleep and many days away from the troubles of this region," said Katie looking at Andrew.
"It gets worse than that. According to an email I got from an unknown source the Champion's League Meeting has been moved from Berlin, Germany to London England because of actions the German Champion has done," said Andrew.
"Do you have to go to that?" asked Katie.
"Yeah, I planned on going for awhile now. It will be the first time in over 5 years that the US Champion has gone to it. I want to try and restore the faith and honesty that other regions have not seen from us," replied Andrew.
"If I didn't have my journey going on I would love to go to London with you, but I can't I don't think you'll let me miss my journey," said Katie.
"Your damn right you need to see this region and achieve the goal of making it to the Champion's Cup," replied Andrew.
Katie leaned over and kissed him for a few minutes before they both hear someone coming down the stairs. She then stood up and made her way to the door and left.
"Andrew, I was wondering if you could help me train some of my pokemon today?" asked Katie.
"All you ever had to do was ask I'm more than happy to help," replied Andrew.
After Katie left he got up and took a shower before getting dressed. After he was dressed he clipped his pokeballs to his belt, returned Glaceon who was up and eating a bowl of food, and put on his mega ring and he left the room. Once in the front room he saw Michelle in the kitchen making coffee and Micheal sitting in his favorite chair reading a newspaper.
"Morning Andrew good to see your awake," said Micheal.
"Good Morning to you too," replied Andrew.
"So what are you two doing today?" asked Micheal.
"I said I would help Katie train her pokemon and that's the plan today," replied Andrew.
"Aye, I see good luck with that me and my wife will at the booth today so fill free to stop if you need anything," said Micheal.
Katie came down the stairs and walked over to Andrew.
"You ready to go?" asked Katie.
"Yeah let's go," replied Andrew.
"Before you two run off take a piece of fruit to eat so you don't get hungry," reminded Michelle.
Andrew and Katie both grabbed a couple apples and then left. They walked over to the park arena where they joined Emma, Brady, Victor (One of Brady's older brothers), Zac, Gabby, and Ally.
"Look who finally got here," snickered Zac.
"Shut up Zac," replied Katie.
"You two always at each other's throat is really getting on my nerves," complained Emma.
"There's an easy way to resolve this quickly," said Andrew stepping in.
"And what would that be?" barked Zac.
"A training battle between you and Katie here," replied Andrew.
"I like that idea it will get me ready for the next gym leader with an easy win," said Zac.
"What makes you think I'm going to be easy to beat Zac. I'm going to beat you up and down this arena," replied Katie with fiery determination.
"You two need to relax this is only a training battle," said Andrew trying to defuse the situation.
"No, I'm tried of Zac talking down to me. I'm going to prove I'm better than him," replied Katie.
"Then if this is going to be a real match which it will become you'll need a ref and in that case I'll ref this match," said Andrew.
The others in the arena took eat just outside the arena to watch this battle between Zac and Katie.
(Pokemon Battle: Zac vs. Katie)
"Well let's make this a six on six pokemon battle. Both of you will substitute and there will be no break once three of either of your pokemon are gone," said Andrew.
"The last time we battle your Espeon lost to my Monferno. This time all six of your pokemon will lose to mine," said Zac.
"I can't wait to prove you wrong and shove in your face when I win and the only reason you won was you were foolish enough to try and use blaze. If it wasn't for Marc it would have gone horribly wrong," replied Katie.
"This time I won't need it. I'll show you just how weak you and your pokemon are," said Zac.
"Then stop wasting time and let's battle," replied Katie.
"Fine Go Magneton," said Zac.
"Go Heracross," said Katie.
Katie moved quick and checked the moves of her Heracross before the battle could start. Heracross knows: Brick Break, Pin Missile, Earthquake, Rock Blast, and Bug Bite.
"Magneton use thunderbolt,"
"Heracross use earthquake,"
The ground around the arena started to shake. Rocks in the arena struck Magneton and he fell to the ground. Magneton did manage to get back up but unable to use his thunder attack.
"Heracross use rock blast,"
Heracross flew around the arena and picked up five rocks. He landed in front of Katie and started to toss them.
"Magneton use flash cannon to blast those damn rocks back,"
As the first rock flew at Magneton, Magneton's eyes turned sliver and sent a beam of sliver from between his eyes. This beam made contact with the first rock and shattered it. After seeing the first rock shatter Heracross tossed the second one. That one too was shattered. By time the second rock was shattered the beam was right in front of Heracross and hit him and blasted him back into a tree behind Katie. Heracross jumped off the tree and flew hard at Magneton.
"Heracross use brick break,"
Heracross flew hard at Magneton.
"Magneton use flash cannon again,"
Magneton sent a beam of sliver at Heracross. Heracross used his superior flying skills and dodged the beam one after the other that Magneton sent at. Heracross eventually was able to bring his hand down on top of Magneton and sent Magneton back into the ground.
"Return Magneton and go Skarmory," said Zac.
Brady and Emma both looked at the Amor Bird pokemon flying around the arena.
Wow, Zac caught a new pokemon," said Emma.
"Yeah, he must have done that right after he left us in Cincy," replied Brady.
"Let's see if you can take on my newest pokemon Skarmory Katie," Zac said with a cocky attitude.
"That metal bird doesn't scare me and let me show you something,. Return Heracross and go Absol," said Katie.
After seeing Katie call out Absol, Zac instantly shut up. He remembered watching this Absol battle Sara's Malamar and he took hit after hit and unleashed a powerful dark pulse using built up energy.
"Skarmory we definitely want to be careful, I'm just not sure how powerful this thing is," acknowledged Zac.
Skarmory let out a cry letting his trainer he understood what Zac had said.
"Skarmory start this off with agility,"
Skarmory relaxed some and started to move faster than he before. This made him harder to hit. After speeding up Skarmory then set his sights on Absol who was still standing where Katie called him out.
"Skarmory use drill peck,"
Skarmory flew fast at Absol.
"Absol wait for a moment then use detect. Follow that up with thunder bolt,"
As Skarmory flew hard at Absol, he just stood there and waited. It wasn't till Skarmory was near him that he jumped to the left to avoid Skarmory's beak. Absol then charged up and sent a bolt of thunder at the bird that now had his feet on the ground. Skarmory may have been fast, but not fast enough to avoid the bolt of thunder. Skarmory hung on because after taking that bolt because of his ability.
"Skarmory use steel wing,"
Skarmory shock of the remints of the thunderbolt and got back into the air and flew at Absol. As he flew at Absol his wings became coated in a slivery steel. Absol tried to jump again, but he was unable to move fast enough and took the wings of Skarmory to the gut and Skarmory flew him right into a tree. Absol quickly jumped from the tree and ran back into the arena.
"Skarmory use sky drop,"
Skarmory flew over to Absol and picked him up and lifted him into the air. As Absol was lifted into the air he tried to remain while he was lifted up. Once Skarmory thought they were at an appropriate height, Skarmory let Absol go and he fell to the ground. Absol landed on his laying in the arena. Zac this cocky smile on his face thinking he just beat the Absol that helped Katie beat Adrian. Boy was he wrong Absol staggered back to his feet. He had this pitch black aura around him.
"No, not this again," Zac said in shock.
Absol charged and sent a bolt of lighting that as it went towards Skarmory it tore up the ground on the arena. Zac's Skarmory tried his best to avoid the bolt, but couldn't and was shocked by the powerful bolt and was sent to the ground. Skarmory had fainted on the way back to the ground. Absol wasn't done there either and he sent what at first looked like dark pulse, but turned into a dark blast at Skarmory. This action forced Andrew to step in and call upon his trustee Lucario who Andrew first mega evolved before Lucario sent an aura blast at the dark blast the two attacks collided and caused an explosion that sent waves of energy out that sent, Andrew and his Lucario, Katie and her Absol, and Zac and Skarmory in all different directions. Katie and Absol landed near a tree on her butt. She was a little shaken up but otherwise okay. Zac and Skarmory landed just a few feet away and also on his butt with Skarmory laying next to him. Andrew landed a few feet away he laying on his back he was grimacing in pain because he still felt soreness in his back from Richmond, Lucario was standing up next to with his appendages up checking everyone else's location with his aura.
(After the Battle)
Once the smoke finally cleared those watching saw the damage to the arena and the three trainers that were involved. Katie was standing up petting her Absol who calmed down and seemed tired. Zac was also standing and had just returned his Skarmory. Katie looked over to see Andrew still sitting down with this pained look on his face. She ran over to him and looked concerned because he has his hand on his back and she knows that he still had some soreness in his back.
"Andrew, are you ok?" Katie asked concerningly.
"Yeah, just landed on my back when I was sent back by that wave of energy," replied Andrew.
"We'll have my mom check it out when we get back to the house. She's usually took care of us when we got hurt," said Katie.
Andrew stood back up on his feet and looked over at his Lucario and pressed his mega ring and he returned to normal, he then returned him. Katie returned Absol. Andrew and Katie walked over to the arena to see the damage. The arena was tore up and unusable which basically meant that the match was over. Andrew then walked back over to were he landed and picked up his hat. He dusted the dirt off with his hand and put it back on. Katie walked over to him and they made their way to the exit slowly. On the way out they were stopped by Zac he was clearly pissed about what happened.
"What the hell Katie. You have no control over your Absol, you shouldn't even have him if he can do that much damage. He could have hurt my pokemon and I need Skarmory for later battles if I want to win," said Zac.
"Absol is perfectly fine I'm not abandoning him right now or ever. Absol has not caused harm to anyone and yes what he did was reckless, but that's not him that was power surge he got," replied Katie.
"I wouldn't want that thing by me if he's like that," snickered Zac.
"Zac. I have been tossed around, attacked, and many other things by pokemon, but I still love being around them. What Absol did he had no control over and with the right help he'll be able to control it," said Andrew.
"How can even be sure that any help can control that power?" asked Zac.
"Because the person who is going to help has been through this before and I can trust him to help Katie out," replied Andrew.
"Who could that be?" asked Zac.
"Daniel and his Lucario were at one time in the same spot, that Katie and her Absol are in right now," replied Andrew.
After saying that Andrew and Katie left the park and back over to her house. When they got back to the house it was empty.
"Oh, I forgot mom said they were at the booth," said Katie.
Andrew took a seat on the couch and Katie walked into the kitchen and went looking for a bag to put some ice in it. She finds a bag fills it with ice, wraps it in a towel and hands it to Andrew. Andrew put the ice on lower back.
"There that should help. I'm sorry Andrew I didn't mean for anyone to get," apologized Katie taking a seat next to him.
"There's nothing to be sorry for Katie. We could've never guessed that something like could happen," replied Andrew.
"I know," said Katie putting her hand on the bag of ice allowing Andrew move his.
With her other hand Katie grabbed the remote for the TV. She turned it on and found something to watch. The two of them stayed in the front for another few hours till her parents got home. Once they got home her mom asked a million and one questions because Emma walked over to the booth and told them what happened. After a few minutes of explaining they stopped asking questions and her mom started dinner. Her dad took a seat in his favorite recliner and grabbed the remote from Katie and turned sports on.
(At the House)
"Katie can you come help me in the kitchen," asked her mom.
"Sure mom," said Katie getting up from the couch and walking into the kitchen.
That left Andrew and Micheal in the front room. Micheal had the feet up and he was reclining in his chair and Andrew had his hat off and occasionally rubbed his back with his hand.
"How bad did you fall on your back?" asked Micheal.
"Not worse than what happened in Richmond," replied Andrew.
"I heard about that on the TV. Everyone was shocked about you and that Daniel fellow making it out with only minor injuries," said Micheal.
"Actually filling it happen is a lot worse then what they explained on TV. I hit the ground hard twice before landing near the wall. It was painful I'm just lucky I didn't break any bones or anything," replied Andrew.
Brady, Emma, Ally, and Zac walked into the house to see Katie and her mom in the kitchen and Andrew and Micheal in the front room.
"Just in time Em. Could you do me a favor and set the table for everyone who is eating here," asked Michelle.
"Yeah mom I got it," replied Emma.
Emma walked over to the cupboard where they keep all the plates and set the table with each plate. She then went to the silverware drawer and took out knives and forks. She also grabbed napkins on the way back to the table. She put them all down neat and orderly and then walked back into the kitchen and grabbed cups and set them on the table as well. Once dinner was ready Michelle yelled for everyone in the front room to come sit down and they filed in one by one. Micheal took his seat at one end of the table. His wife was at the other. Then to his left was Andrew, then Katie, and Ally. To his right was Brady, Emma, and Zac. After eating dinner Andrew deiced he would get some rest and he went into the guest room took a shower and went to bed. Katie and Ally went up to her room and Brady, Emma, and Zac stayed in the front room. Micheal and Michelle went up to their room to take a shower and watch some TV in their room.
(Katie and Ally)
"So Katie tell me what's up with you and Andrew?" Ally asked with some curiosity.
"What do you want to know?" Katie asked in response.
"Well everything," replied Ally.
"It started a little after Andrew got here Sunday. We walked over to the park and had a run-in with Tommy. He dealt with it and somehow my dad found out about it. My dad sat everyone in the front room and asked everyone about what happened. He then asked Andrew some questions and it ended up showing that Andrew has feelings for me. After a few more minutes of talking it was then time to get ready to go over to the park for the firework show. We broke into smaller groups there. Brady, and Emma sat with some friends and then Andrew and I sat alone," said Katie.
"What happened when you two were alone?" asked Ally.
"I kissed him," replied Katie.
"What? Really?" asked Ally.
"Yeah I did. I don't know what got into me, but I had to. It was a lovely kiss and I couldn't have asked for a better one," replied Katie.
"So I see he's your boyfriend then," said Ally.
"Yeah he is," replied Katie.
Ally checked her phone and it was 10:30pm.
"Well it is late I better get home. My dad is already home and I haven't seen him since I left on my journey," said Ally.
"Ok I'll see you tomorrow. Bye," replied Katie.
Ally left a few minutes after saying bye. Katie took a shower and went to bed. Zac and Brady left a few minutes after Katie went to bed. After they left Emma went to bed as well.
(Thursday)
Andrew was once again up early this time he was on his laptop looking at something. It wasn't work related. He heard the coffee pot go off and Micheal was walking down the stairs to go shut it off. Andrew walked out to see Micheal dressed in his work clothes.
"Morning Andrew. Another Early day I see," said Micheal.
"Yeah it is. I don't know why but I always wake up early it's hard-wired into my brain to do so," said Andrew.
"Doing some work again?" asked Micheal getting two cups down.
"Not today I'm basically caught up now. So I'm just checking on some things," replied Andrew.
"Good to see you got everything finished up. So where are you off too after this week is over?" asked Micheal.
"I'm heading to Kansas City for a couple days. Then to London, England," replied Andrew.
"Going on a vacation to London?" asked Micheal.
"I wish. I have work to do there," replied Andrew.
Micheal looked down at his watch and then back to Andrew.
"I'm sorry, but I'm late we'll have to finish this conversation later. Bye Andrew," said Micheal putting some coffee into a to-go cup and leaves.
Andrew stayed sitting at the table and continued to drink some coffee. He was alone at the table only for a few minutes till he was joined by Katie who just woke up. She grabbed and apple and joined Andrew at the table.
"Good Morning," said Andrew.
"Yeah it is. I see you spent some time talking to my dad again," replied Katie.
"Yeah I did," said Andrew.
"So how's your back today?" asked Katie.
"It's better today. I'm not in much if any pain," replied Andrew.
"I'm glad your better," said Katie with a smile on her face.
"So what do you want to do today?" asked Andrew.
"Not sure yet. What do you want to do?" asked Katie in response.
"First we should go see Krokorok. He was walking around Tuesday. I just hope we can find him a good trainer to take care of him. Then we can rest today since we have been doing a lot already," replied Andrew.
"Yeah that sounds like a good plan. I could you some rest after yesterday. We could go see a movie," said Katie.
"Yeah, I would love to spend time in a dark room filled with a bunch random people," Andrew said sarcastically.
"The way I look at you and I can spend some time alone and the public won't see us," said Katie smiling.
"I guess we can see a movie as long as it's not a romantic movie. I hate those," replied Andrew giving in.
"You don't have to worry about that. I don't care for those movies either," said Katie.
"I better go get dressed then so we can leave," said Andrew.
"Your not the only one that has to," said Katie standing up going back up the stairs.
Andrew walked back into the guest room and got dressed brushed his teeth and walked back in the front to see Michelle in the kitchen again cleaning up from this morning. Katie came down a few minutes later. She was dressed in a skirt and a sleeveless shirt.
"You ready to go Katie?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah, I am," replied Katie.
The two of left the house and walked over to the Pokemon Center. At the Pokemon Center Krokorok was up and about walking around the center. Emma was watching him walk around Brady was sitting in the front talking to Zac.
"I think we might have a trainer for Krokorok," said Andrew catching the attention of everyone in the center.
"Who would that be?" asked Emma.
"Why don't take care of him. You seem found of him and he could use a trainer like you that will care for him," replied Andrew.
"You know what I agree with that I think I will take care of him," said Emma smiling.
Emma walked over to Krokorok who was still pacing around the Pokemon Center. Emma stopped Krokorok and talked to him. She asked him if he wanted to belong to her. He shock his head yes and Emma took out a pokeball. Krokorok touched the pokeball and was captured.
"I'm glad we found him a good home. A pokemon like him needed one so Emma take care of him," said Andrew.
"So am I," said Katie.
"So what are you two doing today?" asked Emma looking over at Katie.
"Just going back home after seeing Krokorok today. Andrew is still in some pain so we thought it would be a good idea just rest today," replied Katie.
"Ok I'll see you two later were going to head over to the park and walk through the booths again and visit Brady's mom who is running our parents booth while dad works today," said Emma leaving.
Brady and Zac left with her and went over to the park. Andrew and Katie left the center and walked two blocks over to the movie theater and bought two tickets to see "Jurassic World". After getting the tickets they walked in and got a large popcorn which they will share and a drink which they planed on sharing as well.
They gave their tickets to the usher before taking a seat in theater. It was filled up in about 20 minutes movie started. After the lights went down Katie leaned her head onto Andrew's shoulder as the movie played on.
(After the Movie)
They left the theater and walked back to the house it was still a rather warm day. Emma, Brady and Zac had returned home as well right after Andrew and Katie got back.
"Hey you two enjoying your time cooped up in the house. We were thinking about heading over to Brady's house to go swimming you two should join us," said Emma.
"I like that idea," said Katie.
"Sure it will get us out of this house," said Andrew.
"Zac, Ally, and Gabby will meet us there so grab your swim suits and then we can go," said Emma.
Katie walked upstairs with Emma and they both got their swimsuits Andrew grabbed an old pair of shorts he had with him and they all left over to Brady's house just down the block. Once they got to the house they were meet by Ally, Gabby, and Zac. Brady opened the door and let everyone in. Once inside, the girls took turns getting dressed into their bikinis. Andrew, Brady and, Zac just tossed shorts and everyone walk out to his backyard to see the built in pool and the hot tub.
Brady had a dark green pair of shorts on with no shirt. Zac had a dark orange pair of shorts on. Emma had a white two piece on. Ally had a light baby blue two piece on. Gabby had an all black one on. Katie had her's on under her shorts and tank top. Andrew had shorts on with a white shirt with no had, instead he had a pair of sunglasses on. The two of them didn't get in right away. Andrew and Katie took a seat outside.
"Thanks," said Katie hugging Andrew and giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"What was that for?" asked Andrew.
"You've been doing a lot with this week and I'm just grateful for that," replied Katie.
Zac looked over at them and then swam over to Emma and Brady who were splashing and playing around.
"What's up with Andrew and Katie. She been spending a lot of time with him and I don't know why?" asked Zac.
"Better tell you that Andrew and her are couple. They have been since Sunday night," replied Emma.
"You can't be serious!?" responded Zac.
"If you think were kidding go ask her yourself," replied Emma.
"Nah, I'm I just find it hard to believe that. He's so differnet then she is," said Zac.
After sitting around Andrew and Katie both got in. Katie was in a white bikini bottom and the same rainbow top that she had on in Yosemite. They splashed around and after awhile everyone played marco polo. After playing they got out of the pool and got dressed and left back over to the Hopkins House.
(Back at the Hopkins House)
When everyone walked through the door they saw that Micheal was home and on his favorite chair. Michelle was sitting watching TV with him enjoying their alone time.
"Good to see everyone's back," said Micheal.
"Yeah, good to see your home dad," replied Emma.
"Now, go have some pizza will be here in a little bit. Once it gets here me and my beautiful wife have dinner plans we'll be home later tonight. No trouble. You hear me girls," said Micheal.
"Yes dad," replied Emma.
"Yeah dad," said Katie.
"Good, now we have to go get dressed up nice. If the pizza guy knocks on the door the money is on the counter," said Micheal.
Micheal and Michelle got up and walked upstairs.
"Well, guys I hate to leave, but my dad insists that I have dinner at home tonight so I'll see you all tomorrow," said Ally leaving.
"I better go to. I need to work harder to advance farther in the next Contest so I'm going to go train," said Gabby.
So all that was left in the front room was Brady, Zac, Andrew, Katie, and Emma. They waited about five minutes till pizza got there. Brady got the door and paid for the pizza before taking it in and setting it down in the kitchen. They all got paper plates and got slices of pizza. Brady and Emma were on one couch, Zac was on the recliner, Andrew and Katie sat on the floor. Micheal and Michelle returned downstairs and said good bye to everyone before leaving.
"This is some good pizza," commented Andrew.
"No place makes pizza like Boston's own Pizzeria," replied Katie.
The whole time they were eating rather then watching TV, Zac kept looking at Andrew or Katie. He was still confused about what she saw in him. Everyone else was focused on the TV. They all were watching the PokeNews Channel. They were talking about the 16th gym leader spot and how vacant it is. Each time Andrew thought he filled the spot. The planned gym leader decides not to take the spot. They went live to a news reporter in DC.
"This is Timothy Whitten reporting. A source close to the Champion says they might have found the gym leader for the spot. We'll have to wait till Andrew gets back from his vacation to hear more details," said Timothy.
They turned their attention from the TV over to Andrew who biting into a slice of pizza.
"Who is the gym leader?" asked Brady looking over to Andrew.
"The gym is in Los Angles, CA, but you all already knew that. The gym leader's name is Fran Sabado . He retired a while back, but I talked him to taking the job again, but when I finally get back from overseas I will publicly announce it in Los Angles," replied Andrew.
"He won't back out will he," joked Brady.
"I hope not. I don't get why people back out it's not a hard job to do," said Andrew.
They finished up eating their pizza and Brady and Zac left. Emma went up to her room leaving Katie and Andrew sitting in the front room. They moved from the floor to the couch and Katie put a movie on. An hour into the movie Katie fell asleep on Andrew's arm. Andrew just stayed in the same spot till her parents got home two hours into the movie. They walked into the front room and saw Katie asleep and Andrew watching the movie. Micheal took a seat on his recliner and whispered over to Andrew because he noticed Katie was sleep.
"How long has she been asleep?" Micheal asked Andrew quietly.
"About an hour now," whispered Andrew.
Katie quickly woke up after hearing Andrew say that. She got up and looked over and saw her dad.
"Hi dad. How was dinner?" asked Katie standing up.
"It was good I hope you all enjoyed your night," replied Micheal.
"We did," said Katie.
"Good. How about you go to bed Katie since you were asleep when we got home," replied Micheal.
"I planned to. Good night dad. Good night Andrew," said Katie.
"Good night Katie sweet dreams," said Andrew standing up and stretching his arm.
"Goodnight princess," said Micheal.
Katie left the room and walked up the stairs and into her room.
"I might as well get some sleep too," said Andrew.
"Andrew, before you go. Thank you for everything you have done," said Micheal.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Andrew.
"Well it might be to early to say this, but you are the best thing for Katie. I mean she is so happy and actually doing more then moping around the house," replied Micheal.
"To be honest she ha had just as big impact on me. I mean she has been there when I was hurt and when I needed to talk to someone. I'm extremely grateful for meeting her and everyone around," said Andrew.
"Well, then goodnight Andrew. If you're up in the morning like today I look forward to talking to you again," said Micheal.
"The same to you," said Andrew walking into the guest room.
Another two days have gone by and Wednesday was more productive then Thursday which just became a relaxing day. Katie and Zac started a battle, but it was called off when her Absol went into his "Hypermode" state. Which forced Andrew to act quickly and call upon his Lucario to break up the fight. The combined blasts of aura sphere and dark pulse sent everyone every which way. In the end Andrew once again hurt his back. This also made Zac say some mean things about Katie's Absol.

Emma ends up with Krokorok as her pokemon. (This will be her last caught pokemon.)
Brady will catch one more pokemon when they get to Kansas City. I'll give you a hint it will be a dragon type and it won't be the common ones we have seen so far. Also it has clouds for wings.
Team Darkness:
Patience is a virtue and trust me when I say they will be back in KC.
Sneak Peak:
We have two more days left for this venture in Boston which will only be one more chapter. Most of Saturday is the Halloween Party at the park so look forward to the that. Friday will become more of a training day with Andrew and Katie working with their pokemon. We will also see Zac continue to complain about Andrew and Katie's relationship.
