(Friday)
It was yet another early morning for Andrew. He was up about the same time as the coffee pot was going off. Andrew looked down at the bottom of the bed and saw Glaceon waking up. Glaceon stretched and then hopped off the bed.
"It sure is colder then it has been this week. Huh Glaceon," said Andrew looking over at Glaceon.
"Gla, Gla," replied Glaceon. (Translation: No it isn't I like this weather.)
Andrew put a pair of jogging pants he brought and walked out into the front room. Glaceon followed him and walked around the front room. Micheal was up and in the kitchen getting a coffee cup down. Once he saw Andrew he took down another one and set it down next to his.
"Good Morning Andrew," said Micheal.
"Same to you," replied Andrew.
Micheal poured coffee into both cups and his to-go cup and then sat down at the table. Andrew grabbed his cup and sat across from him at the table.
"Sure is colder than yesterday," commented Andrew.
"Well we were having a big heat wave over the last week and I'm glad its finally over is sure was hot here," replied Micheal.
"Not really, I mean I have had 7 straight days of temperatures over 100 degrees. That is hot," said Andrew.
"That is typical California weather. We used to live there and that's not news to us," replied Micheal.
"I'll take the 80's over the 100's any day," said Andrew.
"Make sure you guys are here tonight. I'm going to pull out the old fire pit and we roast Marshmallows and hang around the fire because tonight is suppose to be in the 50's," said Micheal.
"I'm not really sure what we are going to do today. I usually leave that up to Katie since I have no idea what is here and what isn't," replied Andrew.
"Katie told me you've never been to Boston. I find that odd. Why haven't you?" asked Micheal.
"My journey never had me come here. I began in Sacramento and ended in Harrisburg, PA where I collected my 16th gym badge. So coming to Boston was not a priority at the time," replied Andrew.
"I can agree with you on that. I mean before I had to transfer here with my job I never wanted to come here either," said Micheal.
Micheal looked down at his watch and stood up from the table.
"I better go to work. Lucky for me today is my last day till next Tuesday so I don't need to be up this early tomorrow," joked Micheal before walking back into the kitchen. He grabbed his to-go cup and walked out the door.
Andrew put his cup into the sink and walked pack into the room. He got dressed and walked over to the open it to let in some of the cool air. After taking in some of the fresh air Andrew heard the door open and saw Katie walk in.
"Good Morning," said Andrew.
"Yeah it is a good morning Andrew," replied Katie.
"Always bright and cheery I see," said Andrew.
"Yeah I wake up this way," replied Katie.
"Do you ever have a bad day?" asked Andrew.
"I do, but I don't talk about those days," replied Katie.
Katie walks from the door way over to Andrew.
"It sure is cooler today then yesterday," said Katie.
"I was saying that to your dad when I was up with him earlier," replied Andrew.
"I'm going to go get dressed then if you want we can head over the park for a carnival they have there today," said Katie.
"What's exactly at the Carnival?" asked Andrew.
"It's rides little games like knock the bottles down. Stiff like that alongside the booths that have been set up all week like the booth my parents' and Brady's parents share to sell their home-made products," replied Katie.
"That sounds like fun," said Andrew.
"Ok, I'm going to go get dressed then. I'll see in a little bit," said Katie leaving.
Andrew returns Glaceon and then puts his pokeballs on his belt. He puts his mega ring on then a hoodie he packed and walked into the front room. He saw Emma leave as he was walking out of the room. Katie returned a few minutes after he left the room. She had a long sleeve shirt and jeans on with a jacket and her hair up in a pony like always.
"Before we go over to the carnival. How about we go get some breakfast?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah, we should so let's go," replied Katie.
Andrew and Katie left the house and walked over to an IHOP and waited till a waiter took them to a table. The waiter then gave them two menu's and left to give them time to order.
"When are we leaving to DC?" asked Katie.
"We're going to leave on Saturday, because when we get there I'll let you into the hotel room and then I have to run to my office and meet Jen," replied Andrew.
"Ok I'll have to let my dad know that we have to leave tomorrow. How's Sunday going to work?" asked Katie.
"On Sunday morning I have the walkthrough before the event. So you'll have to find something to do unfortunately. You could always walk over to the League and the secretary should let you into my office and you could wait there. Or you could walk past the League and head over to the Smithsonian and walk around there. There are a lot of history of this region and others. Once I'm done with my walkthrough I have a morning radio interview, but before I go to that I'll meet up with you and you can come with me to the radio station," replied Andrew.
"So it seems you'll be busy all morning," said Katie.
"Not really, I only have those two things todo then you and I can spend some time together and enjoy DC. At about 3:30pm we'll have to head back to the hotel and get changed since dinner starts at 4:30pm and we'll have to be present for that. After dinner everyone in attendance get's a treat when I battle one of my elite four," replied Andrew.
"What do we have to wear at the dinner?" asked Katie.
"Well everyone has to wear black tie and dress for the dinner and the battle afterward. After the battle the kids don't have to be back till 9pm when the haunted house opens and then we can have a costume on," replied Andrew.
"So do you have a costume yet?" asked Katie.
"Not yet, I'll leave that to you when we get to DC. If I'm right there's a shop near the hotel we're staying at," replied Andrew.
"You're going to let me pick what we wear?" asked Katie.
"Yeah, I am. I trust you'll pick out a good one," replied Andrew.
"I'll pick a couple out while you are doing your morning walkthrough," said Katie.
That's fine you can leave them in the closet at the hotel," said Andrew.
"So do I know anyone coming to the Event?" asked Katie.
"I'm not sure if Daniel and Cat are coming I sent them an invite earlier in the week. I should be hearing back from him soon. I've also invited Mika and her date and Sidney and her family," replied Andrew.
" You were allowed to invite people?" asked Katie.
"I was able to as long as I had extra tickets. I had a couple and I thought why not send it to them. Mika and Daniel have both been a big help to me and I thought Sidney might want to come. She hasn't been in DC in years after she lost the title," replied Andrew.
The waiter returned and set their food down and asked if they needed anything before he left. They said no and he left. They both ate and when they were have way done the waiter returned with the check and he set it down on the edge of the table. Andrew picked it up and took out his wallet and put some money into it and then finished eating. After they finished he left a $20 bill on the table as tip and they left over to the park.
(At the Park)
Andrew and Katie walked into the park. It was full of people of all ages enjoying the rides, and games. They ran into Emma, Zac, and Brady. Ally was off practicing with Gabby for their next Contest in Kansas City. Zac still didn't seem to happy about yesterday.
"How long have you been here?" asked Katie to Emma.
"We just got here a little while ago. We stopped to see if the arena was fixed. It was, the construction workers were not to happy about it," replied Emma.
"I'm still sorry for what happened yesterday," said Katie.
"There's nothing we could have done to avoid it, but at least it's fixed now," replied Emma.
"I still can't believe you plan on keeping that Absol around," said Zac.
Katie looked over at him a look of disbelief. She was shocked that someone like him would say to just get rid of a pokemon like that.
"No, Zac I'm not going to toss Absol aside. Absol is my pokemon and like I said I stand behind him. He looks out for me and I look out for him," replied Katie.
"It sounds like you don't even care my Skarmory could've gotten hurt," Zac said angrily almost yelling at Katie.
"I do, but what happened yesterday I had no control over it and I'm not blaming Absol," Katie yelled back at him.
"Zac, that's quite enough. You don't have to be jerk over something that could've happened to anyone," replied Andrew.
"Just shut up Andrew, Seriously I find you so annoying. You act so calm and cool when you were tossed like a rag doll yesterday by that Absol I would be pissed and angry at her for it, but I forgot you won't get pissed at her because she's your girlfriend. She acts so childish when she doesn't get her way," Zac yelled angrily and both of them.
Katie looks at Zac and tears start to forming in her eyes. She runs off back towards the house leaving the rest there. Andrew looked over at Zac and didn't respond. Andrew walked back to the house. He was angry at Zac, but was more concerned with Katie at the moment. He'll deal with Zac later in the day. Andrew walked into the house to see Michelle sitting on the couch looking up the stairs and listening to her daughter cry. She looked over at Andrew.
(Back at the House)
"So who said something this time?" asked Michelle.
"Zac," replied Andrew.
"He has no respect for people this isn't the first time he's done something like this," said Michelle.
"How often did he do this?" asked Andrew.
"More than you would think. He always thinks of Katie as a child because she is always happy and energetic and pouts when she doesn't get her way," replied Michelle.
"I'll have to deal with him later I have had just about enough from him," said Andrew.
"Please do my husband has already told him multiple time to knock it off, but he doesn't," replied Michelle.
Andrew walks up the stairs and knocks on Katie's door. She says something and gets up and opens the door. She wiped her eyes and sat down on her bed. Andrew took a seat next to her. She looked at him and tried to put a smile on her face, but she was still sad.
"I don't get why Zac says what he does," said Katie through tears.
"You can't let what he says get to you. He's just a hurtful person who has no respect for others. He's the type of person who complains and lashes out when things don't go his way. Your a better person than him and you know that," replied Andrew.
"Andrew do you find my personality childish?" asked Katie.
"Katie, that's a stupid question. If I found any part of your personality annoying I would be straight up and you know that. I enjoy seeing you smile. Your a ray of sunshine in a cloudy day," replied Andrew.
"That sounded so cheesy," said Katie starting to laugh.
"I know it was, but it did bring a smile to your face," replied Andrew.
"Thanks Andrew, under that calm and cool appearance is a very caring person," replied Katie.
"Don't worry about Zac. I'm going to go have a conversation with him," said Andrew.
They both stand up to leave her room. Katie wanted to go wash her face and Andrew wanted to go find Zac and go talk to him. Before they left the room Katie hugged Andrew and before she let go she gave him a kiss and they left the room.
"Oh, Katie I'll be right back I'm going to go Zac right now," said Andrew before she went into the bathroom.
"Ok I'll wait here," replied Katie walking into the bathroom.
Andrew walked down the stairs and left the house back over to the park to find Zac and the others he was with. He walked around for a little bit for he found them. He walked over to them and started to talk to Zac.
(At the Park)
"Zac can we talk for a minute?" asked Andrew.
"Why?" asked Zac response.
"I want to know why you said what you said earlier. You made Katie cry which wasn't right," replied Andrew.
"Fine," said Zac rolling his eyes and walking away with Andrew.
They walked over to a place to sit down and for a moment stayed quiet before Zac spoke up.
"Why are you dealing with this rather than Katie?" asked Zac.
"Zac, you're and insensitive person that doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut and to avoid another problem between you and her I think its best that I solve this problem before you become my problem," replied Andrew.
"And why do I care if I become your problem. I'll become it anyway when I win and challenge you for that coveted title of yours," said Zac.
"Zac, first off you have to win the cup which by the field of trainers we have this year will be no easy task. And why would I be concerned over you. You maybe able to become a good trainer, but remember one thing I'll always be a step ahead and better," replied Andrew.
"Who have you beaten that I can't beat just as easy as you can?" asked Zac.
"The main one that comes to mind is Daniel. His Mega Blaziken can easily beat your team," replied Andrew.
"I'm going to show scrub next time I run into him that I'm better than him," boasted Zac.
"On a differnet note. I would like you stop teasing Katie," said Andrew.
"I forgot a child like her can't take a joke like others," replied Zac.
"Other then yourself no one found that funny. You acted immature and that needs to change if you ever want to make it in this world. I mean you can make a joke about the wrong person and their going to slug you right in the face. I'm not that type of person I think a clear head can resolve this before is escalades. I think of a saying I was told when I was young. If you have nothing nice to say than don't say anything at all," said Andrew.
Zac didn't respond to Andrew he just sat there and stayed quiet.
"I do want you to apologize to her for what you said," said Andrew before leaving.
Andrew walked back to the house. Zac just sat there taking in what Andrew just said to him. He did get up and meet with the others who was still walking around the carnival.
(Back at the House)
Andrew walked back into the house to see Katie sitting in the front room brushing her Espeon. Andrew felt like he dealt with the problem, but the one thing that still bugs him is how long will this hold up before he acts out again. Andrew joined Katie on the couch.
"So how'd it go?" asked Katie.
"Hopefully; I dealt with it, but Zac is Zac he'll do it again I just know it so I did what I could," replied Andrew.
"At least you said something. With any luck what you said will stick with him," said Katie.
"One can hope," replied Andrew with a slight chuckle.
Everyone heard the garage door open and a car park in it. Micheal was home from a long day of work and all he wanted to do was relax. Michelle walked from the kitchen to out in the garage to meet her husband. They both walked in and Micheal walked over to his recliner and took a seat.
"Hey dad," said Katie.
"Hey princess. What happened today?" asked Micheal.
"How can you tell something happened?" Katie asked in response.
"A father knows these type of things so just tell me what happened," replied Micheal.
"Zac said some more hurtful words directed at me," said Katie.
"That punk. I think I might have to talk to his father this time he has gotten on my nerves," replied Micheal.
"Don't worry about it dad, Andrew dealt with it," said Katie.
"Ok. Andrew thank you for handling it," said Micheal.
"Dad, Andrew and I are leaving tomorrow and heading to DC for the Halloween Event held at the League on Sunday," said Katie.
"That's fine when exactly are you two leaving?" asked Micheal.
"I prefer to leave in the morning so around 10 or 11 in the morning," replied Andrew.
"Sounds fine to me. We have a marshmallow roast tonight and all I think we have tomorrow is the last day of the booth. And all of us will be there," said Micheal.
"That reminds me I need to order some. I don't care what flavor just four," replied Andrew.
"Ok my wife will handle all the details so you can talk to her," said Micheal.
Michelle walked into the office and grabbed an order sheet and walked back into the front room. She took a seat on the couch.
"So many pies do you need?" asked Michelle.
"I think 4 should be enough. I need you to send them to Sacramento. We have a large family gathering on thanksgiving," replied Andrew.
"What flavors would you like?" asked Michelle.
"Four of the top sellers should be fine," replied Andrew.
"Ok then one Cheri Berry Pie, one Pinap Berry Pie, one Rawst Berry Pie, and one Magost Berry Pie," said Michelle.
"How much then?" asked Andrew.
"The pies themselves are $8 a piece and shipping from here to California is $12 because we ship in ice and each pie will need to shipped in a separate box," replied Michelle.
"So a total of $80 then," said Andrew.
"Yeah," said Michelle.
"Let me grab my wallet then," replied Andrew.
Andrew got up and walked into the guest room and grabbed his wallet out of his backpack and walked back into the front room. He counted out four $20 bills and gave them to Michelle. She handed it to her husband and he walked up the stairs with it. Emma, Brady, and Zac walked in the front door just as Micheal walked upstairs. He was up there for a few moments then returned. He didn't looked to pleased to see Zac, but he didn't say anything to Zac. Zac looked over at Katie then over to Andrew and said nothing.
"So dad what's for dinner?" asked Emma.
"I'm not sure yet Em. My wife doesn't fell like cooking so I'm thinking of taking everyone out for burgers and fries as long as that is ok with everyone," replied Micheal.
"That sounds good," said Emma.
"Ok so who's going with me to get it?" asked Micheal.
"I'll go dad," replied Katie.
"What about you Andrew want to come with us?" asked Micheal.
"Sure I'll go," replied Andrew.
"Good, let's go then," said Micheal.
Micheal, Katie, and Andrew got into the van that drives to work and they took off down the road. They drove for about 15 minutes to a burger joint. He ordered the same thing for everyone through the drive-thru and then left back home. It was another 15 minute drive till they got back. Andrew and Katie took the bags in and Micheal followed them in. Michelle already had paper plates and napkins set out for everyone. Everyone walked over to the table grabbed a plate and then walked into the kitchen. Each person grabbed two burgers and a small carton of fries after getting it they all took a seat on the floor of the front room to avoid getting anything on the couch.
"How was work dad?" asked Katie in between bites.
"Just another day of tiring work. It's our job to keep this region's technology up-to-date and that is in all 16 gyms and the Pokemon League which is not the easiest task for all of us," replied Micheal.
"Why if I may ask?" asked Andrew.
"Well Andrew, with the system you have asked Poke. Tech. to build is not the easiest to keep functioning. Once we think we have it we find yet another bug in it which I know is making you guys upset because the Pokemon League really wants to out some details about it," replied Micheal.
"I know it was a hard task, but as I said earlier when I ran it by your CEO he thought of it as a way to help better future trainers just as we did," said Andrew.
"What is it exactly you two are talking about?" asked Katie.
"It's a program we at the Pokemon League call POKE. PALS. It's a rather hard system to understand, but it is a program set to help Trainer Schools around the region. It is a virtual reality program that allows kids to be placed in a situation in battle, during a contest, or various other situations depending on what their future aspiration is," replied Andrew.
"I have never heard of anything like that," said Katie.
"Not many people have heard of it because it's still in its infancy stages. It's not set to be out for public for another two years," replied Andrew.
"What good does that program do exactly?" asked Micheal.
"It records data to our League database which a gym leader can use to look up the trainer they are battling and see what type of situation they struggle and help them in that situation. With Contests it's more for those to help create and master the how to do an appeal," replied Andrew.
"Quite ambitious don't you think Andrew," said Micheal.
"It really is, but it will be so worth it once we can get the program out," replied Andrew.
"I'm not complaining it keeps me and my team hard at work and the bills paid here," joked Micheal.
They finished eating and cleaned up. Andrew walked into the guest room to go put his mega ring and pokeballs away. He checked his phone and found he had a missed call from Daniel and a missed call from a blocked number. Andrew guessed that the number belonged to Claus because the one thing the blocked number did show was his badge number. Andrew closed the door and called Daniel back quickly. The phone rang twice before he picked up.
"Hello," said Daniel.
"Hey Dan it's Andrew. I'm just returning your call," replied Andrew.
"Ok. I thought I would tell you that me and Cat will be attending the Halloween Event in DC. I just need some more details about it," said Dan.
"I'll fill you in with some. Dinner starts at 4:30pm so be there about 3pm to check in at the front gate. You just have to show your ticket which I think I sent you. Dinner is black tie and dress attire and after dinner is a battle with me against one my elite four. Afterward we dismiss you to go change into a Halloween Costume for the rest of it. Which you can either go through the Haunted House or you can join the older group of trainers there at the party being thrown," replied Andrew.
"Ok we'll make sure to bring everything. Do I know anyone else attending?" asked Daniel.
"Yeah you should. Our favorite Red Head is," joked Andrew.
"Mika is actually coming to that I thought she hates being around large number of people," replied Daniel.
"She does, but she and her date want to come to it so she is," said Andrew.
"Then I'll see you on Sunday," said Daniel.
"Same to the both of you. Bye," replied Andrew hanging up.
After getting off the phone with Daniel he checked the message he got from the blocked number. It said to meet him at the monument Saturday night. Andrew planned on meeting him at least he now knows a time. He set his phone on the bed and left the room. Back in the front everyone was sitting around cleaned up and waiting. Micheal was outback and pulling out the fire pit for the Marshmallow roast. Once he set it up and put some wood in it he started the fire it was a warm and inviting fire, he walked back inside and told everyone that it was ready. Michelle was the first to walk out in hand with four bags of Marshmallows. Emma, Brady, and Zac were out next and last but not least Andrew and Katie walked out.
(Outside in the Backyard)
The sun was just setting as everyone sat around the fire. In one chair was Brady, in the chair next to him was Emma. Andrew and Katie were sitting on the ground, Katie had her feet across Andrew's lap. Zac was sitting in a chair next to Brady. Micheal and Michelle were sitting in another chair. Micheal had a drink in his hand as he looked around the fire and looked at his kids.
"This is our tradition no matter how old you girls have gotten I still remember when you were younger and when we first started this. Even though Emily was here and she was the one that started this tradition. One day I hope to find my lost daughter and bring her home, but till that day I'm still happy for what I have and those I have just meet," said Micheal.
"If you don't mind I would like to say a few things," said Andrew.
"Go right a head Andrew," replied Micheal.
"Thanks. I really appreciate you all opening your home for me. It takes a lot to open your house to someone you barely know and I'm extremely grateful for it," said Andrew.
"Now let's start this roast," Michelle handing everyone a stick and some Marshmallows.
Everyone roasted Marshmallows and enjoyed the fire. Zac still didn't say anything to Katie or Andrew, but at least he was quiet. Zac was the first to leave at 9pm. Brady and Emma were covered in a blanket because it was cold. Katie had Andrew's extra coat he brought with him outside on. Micheal and Michelle were cozy by the fire together. It was around 11pm when Brady left and shortly after he did Emma went into the house and went to bed. A few minutes after she did Micheal put the fire out and the others went into the house as well. Andrew said goodnight to Katie and went into his room and went to bed. Katie did the exact same thing in her room and the house was quiet once again. No one expected what happened next. It was around 3am when everything in Andrew's room started to slow and then stop and now in his room was the Mega Guru with his Mewtwo.
(Back inside the House)
"What are you two doing?" Andrew asked groggily.
"To warn of events that are bound to happen," replied the guru.
Next thing Andrew knew he was teleported to another place. Once there Mika, and Daniel were also there, it was odd to see them standing around just as confused as Andrew was.
"Where are we?" asked Daniel.
"Deep in a cave near Kansas City," replied Mewtwo using his telepathy.
"Why are we here then?" asked Andrew.
"Many questions you three have, but let me play out the events that are going to happen in a few days time here in this cave. This cave is the home to a Steelix with his mega stone. Team Darkness knows this and now you three do too," replied the Guru.
"Why are you showing us this?" asked Andrew.
"I'm just getting to that child. Team Darkness lead by Kerry will becoming here very soon. They will anger this Steelix and force it to mega evolve itself. angering this Steelix will be catastrophic if it leaves the cave and finds a way to KC. It will cause mass destruction to the city and those in it. Preventing this from happening is the task you three must take. Revenge on what Kerry did to you Andrew, and you Daniel should be the last thing on your minds. Protecting the innocent is what should be," replied the Guru.
"So it sounds like this Steelix is going to evolve itself no matter what we do," said Mika.
"That would be correct. Don't be scared by Mega Steelix. Don't hurt him just calm him down and allow him to revert back to his normal form. And most important don't capture him. He protects that cave and without him there the cave can be put in harms way," replied the guru.
"So its settled then once we all get to KC. We need to meet and plan everything out. I'll have some of my elite four there as well to help if something gets hairy," said Andrew.
"Be cautious and careful and remember no harm to him," said the guru before everything faded out and Andrew was back in his room.
He looked around the room then at the clock and it still showed 3am he laid back into bed and fell asleep.
(Saturday)
It was around 9am when Andrew woke up. The events that happened last night still fresh in mind. He packed up everything before showering and getting dressed. He put his pokeballs on his belt and his mega ring on. He carried his backpack from the guest room into the front room. Katie already had her backpack in there and she was sitting at the table eating.
"Good Morning Andrew," said Katie.
"Good Morning to you too. I see you already packed," replied Andrew.
"Yeah I am," said Katie.
"Let me eat some breakfast and then we can get ready to leave," replied Andrew grabbing an apple.
He ate the apple and just as the two of them grabbed their backpacks to leave Micheal and Michelle came down the stairs to meet them before they left. Andrew walked outside and called out Flygon.
"Good we caught you two before you left," said Micheal.
"What's up dad?" asked Katie.
"I just wanted to say goodbye and have fun and don't get into to much trouble," said Micheal.
"Yeah dad I know," replied Katie rolling her eyes.
"Good and now have safe flight and call us when you get to DC Katie," said Micheal.
"I know dad. Bye," said Katie walking outside.
Andrew helped her onto Flygon and then climbed on himself. Micheal and Michelle walked outside and watched the two of them fly off towards DC. It would have been a short flight if Andrew hadn't deiced to stop on the way there to give Flygon a short break and for him and Katie to get a snack. The whole flight with the stop was 2 hours. Once they made it to DC they landed right outside the hotel he will be at for the next couple nights.
(In DC)
Andrew returned Flygon and him and Katie walked into the hotel and up to the front desk.
"Good Afternoon Mr. Hanson the hotel room is ready for you. We brought up the extra bed and have cleaned it up. Here are the two room keys and have a good day," greeted the front desk attendant.
"Thanks Melody," said Andrew picking up the two room keys.
"That reminds me we got a call Jenifer and your presences is requested immediately at the Pokemon League," said Melody.
"Ok thanks for letting me know," replied Andrew.
Katie and Andrew walked over to the elevator and took it up to the 12th level. They walked a few feet down and over to the room. Andrew put his key card in and opened the door. Katie and him walked in.
"Katie you can take the master bed I'll sleep on the pull out in the front room," said Andrew taking to the master room.
"Are you sure?" asked Katie.
"Yeah it's fine. Just don't mind the mess of paperwork it's a bunch of work I'm looking into. So when I get back we'll go walk around the town and explore. If you need anything Melody or Jason at the front desk will help you," replied Andrew.
"How long you going to be gone?" asked Katie.
"I'm not sure. So if you need to eat go ahead and order up room service and if you want you can walk down to the lobby there is some stuff to do there," replied Andrew.
"I'll see you when you get back then," said Katie taking a seat on the couch and turning on the TV.
Before he left Andrew gave her a room key and he left with his in his pocket. He took the elevator down and walked over to the League Office. He walked into his messy office and took a seat down in front of his computer. A few minutes later Jen walked in.
"Good to see your back Andrew. Was your trip productive?" asked Jen.
"Yeah it was," replied Andrew.
"Good to hear. We have some business to attend to. Let me start by saying all but Marc is here in DC. He should be here by tonight. Now I already know that you'll be leaving to London for the Champion's League Meeting I need to know how long you plan to be gone," said Jen.
"I figure a week to two at most. Apparently there's a lot to discuss about Blaine Drake the German Champion a lot of issues have arisen with him taking trips to other regions without their authorization from that region's League," replied Andrew.
"What exactly are they expecting to do to him?" asked Jen.
"More than likely he'll be removed from the Champion's position there and if found arrested and charged, but he's in the wind," replied Andrew.
"Ok now on to other business you have some papers that need your attention and I believe we found out who attacked the Lab in Nashville and in Seattle a while back," said Jen.
"I know they are part of Team Darkness, but who are they?" asked Andrew.
"As I thought they are some of the brainwashed trainers Roger used. The leader of the group's name is Emily Hopkins. She disappeared a while ago and we found her. One of the other's is Morgan's brother. And the last one is still unidentified yet," replied Jen.
"Are we sure?" asked Andrew looking at Jen. He was in shock about the name he heard.
"Yes we are their pokemon are not the same but their voice and appearance are," replied Jen.
"Then shift Tina's and Melissa's attention to this find where and when Goodsworth will use them again and have them intercept them," Andrew said sternly.
"What about Morgan?" asked Jen.
"I'll need his help in Kansas City this week. Sources say Team Darkness will strike there soon," replied Andrew.
"I'll let Morgan know he'll be leaving here around the same time you do to KC," said Jen.
"I want you to not tell Melissa and Tina these names. I fear they will say something to Morgan and he'll go after them rather then do his job and I know why he would I can't blame the guy. So keep the names between us," said Andrew.
"I can do that," replied Jen.
"Good, anything else?" asked Andrew.
"Yes onto other things. We dug into Seraph Co. more it seems they are into some really shady things including a project with Blaine which we found odd and sent a notice to them that we request info on it hopefully we hear back from them soon," replied Jen.
"That company sure is a big headache. And for the last thing I asked for you to do?" asked Andrew.
"Yes, I have it in a folder on your desk in your office. I'm still confused why you asked me to look into Warren Hozaki, but what public records I have found are rather odd so you can see yourself," replied Jen.
"Ok I'll look into that myself thanks Jen," said Andrew.
"No problem Andrew remember be here tomorrow at 9:30am for morning walkthrough," replied Jen.
"Can do now go get some rest and good night," said Andrew.
Jen walked back to her office and closed up everything before locking it and she leaves. Andrew walks back into his and finds the folder she left him. He put that aside and opened a file on the missing trainers he looked at each of them and found it hard to believe that the people that attacked the two labs are some of these same trainers. He closes that file and looks at the clock he sends a text to Katie that he'll be back in about an hour and then turns his attention on the file Jen left for him. He opened and read it over he found some of it hard to read. He sets it down back in front of his computer and shuts off his computer. He gets up and leaves his office and locks it he'll be back in there in a couple days. He checks his phone again and sees it is 6:30pm and he walks over to the Monument he meet Claus at the first time and waited.

Andrew waited a few minutes till Claus showed up.
"Good Evening Andrew," greeted Claus.
"Same too you," replied Andrew.
"Now let's get down to business. As you already know the Champion's League Meeting has been moved from Berlin to London. I have been asked by Ash to ask you if you would be interested in a spot on the Panel that handles review of Champions from the regions that operate with the Champion's League," said Claus.
"What does that entitle exactly?" asked Andrew.
"You and the four others on this panel sit down and question a specific region's Champion if it has been proven that he/she has done something wrong. For example with Blaine you'll be able to ask questions to his elite four which have already been called in and his League Commissioner. And this will also back Lana off your case and allow you to handle Team Darkness without a problem from here," replied Claus.
"Who's spot am I taking?" asked Andrew.
"You'll be taking Blaine's spot. You'll be there with Ash, Lana, Cedric, and Hideo," replied Claus.
"So this panel consist of the Japanese Champion, the Russian Champion, the UK Champion, and the Chinese Champion and now the US Champion," said Andrew.
"The reason behind asking you is because your region has big influence on some of the smaller regions around you. For example Mexico and Canada look to your region for help when needed. That is the main reason why Ash wants you on this panel other then we have seen you as a very vocal Champion inside your region," said Claus.
"I see and I understand that. It is a big responsibility for me to do this and I accept that," replied Andrew.
"Great to hear I'll let Ash know that you accepted the spot and I look forward to seeing you in London. Till next time Andrew," said Claus leaving.
Andrew left and walked back to his hotel. He goes up the elevator and walked over to his room. Once he opened it he saw Katie brushing her Espeon while watching a movie on the TV.
(Back at the Hotel Room)
"So what are you watching?" asked Andrew taking a seat next to Katie.
"Just some movie I found on TV," replied Katie.
"Good, How was your afternoon?" asked Andrew.
"It was good. I went over and got our Costume's for Halloween they are in the closet. I think you'll like them I do. I ordered the best tri-tip dinner off the room service menu and now I'm waiting for our ice cream to get here. I went a head and ordered you some as well and otherwise I have been enjoying a day of not worrying about others," replied Katie.
Andrew moved over to her and kissed her on the forehead and then sat next to her.
"How was your day?" asked Katie.
"A long day I'll leave it at that," replied Andrew.
"I take a lot of it is business you have to address," said Katie.
"Yeah I wish I can say more, but at the moment I can't so we'll leave at that for now," replied Andrew.
"I understand," said Katie.
There was a knock at the door and Andrew got up and answered it. A cart was rolled in on that cart was two bowls of ice cream and some whipped cream. The delivery person moved the ice cream from the cart to a table and left it there. Andrew tipped him and he left. Andrew and Katie topped their ice cream with whipped cream and ate it. Katie grabbed the canister of whipped cream and shook it before putting near her mouth and getting some whipped cream from it. Andrew jokingly tried to grab it from her and she got some all over her face. She set the canister down and looked over at Andrew, he was laughing.
"So you find this funny huh," said Katie picking up the canister.
She shook it again and pointed it at Andrew.
"Katie whatever your thinking don't do that," said Andrew.
"It's going to happen whether you like it or not," said Katie pressing down on the nuzzle and whipped cream shot out of it and all over Andrew's face.
Katie then moved her hand and rubbed it into his face. Andrew looked at her and she stuck her tongue out at him. Andrew rubbed it into her face shortly after she did that. They sat there for a few moments before both of them got up and walked over to a bathroom and cleaned up. After cleaning up the two of them sat back down on the couch Katie cuddled up next to Andrew and watched the rest of the movie. After the movie the two of them said goodnight and went to bed. Andrew had to only walk a few feet from the couch till he got to his bed. Katie walked down a short hall to the master room she got dressed and went to bed.
Alrighty it's the Halloween Special time. That will be all of the next chapter it will end with Brady, Emma, Katie, and Zac finally getting to KC. Andrew will be there a few days later. We now know what Team Darkness has planed in KC. We will also see Mika, and Dan at the Halloween Event. We also figured out who was behind the attacks in Nashville and Seattle. Now that we do know who they are the League will attempt to capture them and breakdown the brainwashing Roger has put on them.
