(In DC)
Andrew and Morgan are sitting in the conference room while in a conference call with Marc who is back off the coast of Hawaii with Juan and Harold. Melissa and Tina are in San Francisco investigating the notorious group of trainers that operate with Team Darkness that attacked and harassed scientist in Seattle and Nashville.
"Let's make this short and simple let's start with Tina and Melissa," stated Andrew who laid back into his chair.
"We have just arrived here in San Francisco and have begun following reports made by the locals to hunt these three down. We don't know if they are here or not. A report worth checking is that these three are in Hawaii now, while I'm not sure how true this may be it has came from a good source," reported Tina.
"To validate this claim I want you Marc to check it out. If they are in Hawaii the most logical explanation would be to attack your ship and if that is the case you need to be prepared we don't want any of the info on that ship getting into there hands, if it does we could put this region in great harm," replied Andrew.
"Wouldn't it be smart to send Melissa and Tina here then. We could use all the help we can get?" asked Marc.
"I don't want to send them on a hunch a we are wrong about this. I want to be certain that they are there before we make the call and shift Melissa's and Tina's focus there," replied Andrew.
"What about me going and helping?" asked Morgan sitting up in his chair.
"No, Morgan I need your help in KC, we are dealing with an actual threat there while they are dealing with a hypothetical, if I shift any other's focus we jeopardize other parts of this region," replied Andrew.
"Andrew, you will have Mika and Daniel helping you. Why do you need me?" Morgan asked angrily.
"Morgan, I don't have to answer that. You follow my instructions, you don't make your own. If you have a problem with that to damn bad I can careless. Mega Steelix is a big problem that if manages to get out of that cave could be catastrophic to Kansas City, most if not all of the town in unaware of what keeps that cave protected and as long as Team Darkness is there you are following my instructions. Do I make myself clear," replied Andrew who was clearly annoyed by Morgan's recent comment.
"Clear as day," stated Morgan.
"What about you three?" asked Andrew referring to Marc, Tina, and Melissa.
"Yeah," said Marc.
"I understand Andrew," stated Tina.
"Yep," chippered Melissa.
"Good, now Marc check stateside and see if that source is true, if it is call Melissa and Tina. If he calls Melissa, Tina you two will then report to Hawaii and join up with Marc. I am sure that all of you aboard that ship can handle the three of them. I want them captured and detained in Hawaii till I get back from London. Once I am back Melissa and Tina will escort the three of them back to Sacramento," Andrew stated.
"Why do you want these three captured so much?" asked Tina.
"If you must know these three are a couple of the trainers kidnapped by Goodsworth," replied Andrew.
"Andrew, are you saying one of these three could be my brother?" Morgan asked slamming his hand on the table.
"We don't have the identities of the three of them yet," replied Andrew.
"Cut the crap Andrew I want an answer I know, you know something about these three because if you didn't you wouldn't rush to capture them," Morgan angrily stated standing from his chair and looking over at Andrew.
"As I stated before Morgan we don't know who they are and this discussion is over. You all know your tasks now get to it I'll check in with you all later," said Andrew hanging up the phone.
Andrew looked over at Morgan with this annoyed look on his face, he took his hat off and set it down on the table.
"Morgan, if you don't cut the attitude you can sit your a** here. There is no place for that in KC where I need someone I can count on," Andrew told Morgan.
Morgan stormed out of the room and went back to his office. He knew Andrew was hiding something, but he didn't know what he was and by the way Tina and Melissa sound they don't know either. Andrew walked out of the room and walked into his office. Jen walked over to his office and walked and took a seat on the chair just opposite of Andrew's desk.
"Everything packed and ready to go Andrew?" asked Jen.
"Yep, I have my backpack and a suitcase for my trip from Kansas City to London, after I'm done in KC," replied Andrew.
"Good have a safe flight we'll see you when you get back," said Jen.
"If any trouble comes up I'll be on the first flight back, and please keep your eye on Morgan I think he might try and snoop around and find out the identities of the three I sent Melissa and Tina after," said Andrew.
"No worries this region is in more than capable hands while your gone we have the elite four to watch over. I'll keep an eye on Morgan for you, you can count on that and Andrew enjoy London there is a lot to see there," replied Jen.
"Jen, this isn't a sight seeing trip I have business to do there," said Andrew.
Jen walked out of the room leaving Andrew in there, Morgan walked from his office and over to Andrew's he took a seat in the same chair that Jen sat in.
"Andrew, I want the truth none of this you don't know who they are what not. Who are they?" asked Morgan.
"Morgan if I knew who they were I would tell you, but I don't. You can't let this get to you we have a job to do and that's our main focus," replied Andrew.
"Andrew, I know you all ways have a reason behind what you do. I think you do know who they are, but you won't say anything," said Morgan.
"I'll gladly show you what I have on them. It's one item in a file, its a report of what happened in the two cities they attack I have nothing more or nothing less, I do know these trainers are some of those that have went missing that is all now go grab your gear, we have a plane to catch," replied Andrew.
Morgan left Andrew's office and grabbed his backpack and then meet Andrew outside, Andrew had his backpack on and he was pulling a suitcase. A car pulled in and the two of them got in and the car took them over to the airport. At the airport the two of them checked in and then boarded a plane that took off a few minutes after they did. It was a long two and a half hour flight it was a quiet flight because Morgan had nothing to say to Andrew, he was just annoyed Andrew was not saying everything about the three masked trainers that attacked the two labs.
(In Kansas City)
Andrew and Morgan were walking through town heading over to hotel before making their way to the library, that is where he told Daniel and Mika to meet. Morgan still had nothing to say to Andrew, he just looked forward and kept walking till they were in front of the hotel. They walked inside and over to the check in desk.
"Good Morning how can I help you two?" asked the lady working the desk.
"You have two rooms for us ready. They should be under Andrew," replied Andrew.
The lady typed into her computer and the two rooms for them. She got the room keys and handed it to Andrew. Andrew handed Morgan his and then they went up to their rooms. Andrew left his suitcase here and then returned the lobby. Morgan left his backpack and also returned to the lobby shortly after Andrew got back down there. They left the hotel and made their way to meet the others helping out. As they made it over to the library Andrew saw Daniel, Mika and Caitlynn standing outside waiting.
"Good Morning Daniel, Mika, and Caitlynn. This is Morgan he is part of my elite four and he will help us today," introduced Andrew.
Morgan bowed his head before all of them walked in and took a seat at a table. Daniel handed Andrew the map he got and Andrew opened it on the table.
"Ok let's begin this is where Steelix should," said Andrew pointing to large cavern deep inside the cave. " Now that small area will be covered with Team Darkness so the plan I came up with is quite simple. Mika, Daniel, Caitlynn and myself will go in two levels above the normal entrance that knowing Team Darkness will be blocked off. This route through the cave will still get us to where we to," Andrew continued.
"What about me?" asked Morgan.
"Well Morgan on the opposite side of the cave is a forest I want you set up there and wait for Steelix to rush out the cave. Once he does you have to stop him till we can get there. Do not attack him, I want no harm to Steelix," replied Andrew.
"You got to be kidding that's all you want me to do. I'm more qualified to handle this then any of the other three," shouted Morgan upset with what Andrew told him to do.
"Morgan this is not up for debate, I need these three more particularly Daniel and Mika with me. I need their help getting Mega Steelix under control and running Team Darkness out of the cave," replied Andrew.
The others sitting at the table looked over at Morgan then back at Andrew. Andrew was getting annoyed with Morgan and it was beginning to show, it showed Morgan clearly didn't want to be here.
"Now where was I, oh I know now. At some point we'll have to go a level lower to be just be at the second level of the cavern. We are not going to rush in guns blazing we will take this nice and slow and know every mover we are going to make before we jump down and stop them. We are doing this to protect them people of Kansas City. Now let's not waste anymore time let's go," said Andrew.
"I have a question," said Caitlynn.
"And what would that be?" asked Andrew.
"How dangerous could this be?" asked Caitlynn.
"Don't worry about it Caitlynn I'll protect," Daniel answered the question before Andrew could.
"Shouldn't you be concerned about our health Daniel. Do you remember what happened last time you helped Andrew," replied Caitlynn.
Daniel was reminded of being tossed around like a ragdoll in the Richmond Dome and the fierce fight that came before it.
"That was us against Goodsworth and Marco a battle between four mega pokemon, it would have ended that way no matter what. This time it will be different this is us three against Kerry just one of their admins," said Daniel.
"This is the same Kerry that attacked your home and left the garage burning," Caitlynn said reminded Daniel of what happened to his house.
"Caitlynn I don't want to butt into this conversation, but if you don't want to do it then your more than welcome to stay here," said Andrew putting the map in his backpack.
"As long as Daniel is taking part and helping I will do it as well," replied Caitlynn.
"Ok if we are done with all this then let's go," said Andrew.
All of them left the library and walked outside. Andrew handed everyone an ear piece that allowed them to communicate with one another just incase they get separated. Andrew called out Flygon, Daniel called out Salamence, Mika called out Dragonite, and Morgan called out his Barviary. Andrew, Daniel and Caitlynn and Mika flew about a five minute walk to the entrance they would use. Morgan flew to the back of the cave where he was told to stay.
(At the Cave)
"Why did we land here and not right in front of the entrance?" asked Daniel.
"Well that's why," Andrew replied pointing out the patrol of Team Darkness members walking the ground level near a few landed helicopters.
"There are five of them. We could have handled them if we needed to," said Mika putting her hands in her leather jacket.
"I know we could've but I want to avoid confrontation till we get to Steelix. Once inside the cave then we should Mega evolve our pokemon to be ready," said Andrew.
The four of them continued to walk down the small path till they were right above the entrance Team Darkness used. You could tell they were right above where Team Darkness entered because two minions were guarding the door and they were talking rather loud. Andrew took off his backpack and took out three flashlights. He handed Mika one, Daniel one, and one for himself he then put his backpack back on and then they all walked into the cave.
"I don't get why Team Darkness isn't watching this entrance?" asked Daniel.
"The answer to that is rather simple Daniel. This is a small operation Daniel they only brought enough people to get Mega Steelix before we at the Pokemon League would notice so protecting this top level wasn't a top priority," replied Andrew.
"I see then we'll make the most of their ignorance," said Mika.
They walked inside the cave and before going any further Andrew called out Lucario, Daniel called out Blaziken, and Mika called out Ampharos. One after the other the pressed their mega items, Andrew and Daniel pressed their mega rings and Mika pressed her mega pendant around her neck. Lucario was encased in his own aura. Before all the aura disappears Lucario lets out a loud growl. Lucario looked considerably different. Lucario's cream colored fur has become longer. He has also developed extra spikes on his paws. Lucario's appendages grew longer and two had red on their tips. He also had spikes on his shoulders. His aura heignthing increased. He know had black lines on his blue fur. He looked fierce and ready to go.
Blaziken was next, he was encased in flames, his frame became sleeker, his feathery "hairs' pointing upwards in a wing-like shape. With a cry, Blaziken unleashed a wave of power and the orange light faded, revealing that his yellow feathers on his legs had turned red while his red feathers had gained black markings. Blaziken's wrist flames ignited, extending outwards several feet and waved in the breeze.
Last, but not least it was Mika. Her Ampharos sent out bolts of electricity as he begun to change. His toes turned black, he know had white wool on the back of his head and tail. His wooly tail now had small red orbs attached to it. His ears retained their shape, but now a spiral pattern. Ampharos unleashed that electricity and the orbs on his tail lite up and once the electricity was gone they returned to normal. Ampharos was now part dragon type as well.
"Wow look at these three. I fill so left out and useless again," said Caitlynn looking down dejectedly
"Caitlynn your not left your as important to this mission as I am," replied Daniel.
"What am I going to do? I can't battle a Mega Steelix," asked Caitlynn.
"As long as we are together there is nothing we can't do," replied Daniel.
This comment brought a smile to Caitlynn face She walke dover and hugged him.
"If you two are done I would like to get moving we have something to deal with that won't wait," said Andrew impatiently a few feet a head of them.
After hugging it out Daniel and Caitlynn caught up to Andrew and Mika. The group came to a split in the road, Andrew stopped and pulled out the map from his backpack. Mika held up her flashlight for Andrew to see the map. He looked for the split in the path, but couldn't find it on the map.
"This is odd," acknowledged Andrew.
"What is?" asked Daniel walking over to see the map.
"Well it appears that this split in the path isn't on the map," replied Andrew.
"So what do we do then?" asked Daniel.
"We know that the path straight head of us will take us to the cavern, but I wonder about the other path it might just take us behind them and if it does we could gain advantage," replied Andrew.
"And what if it doesn't?" asked Daniel.
"That is why I'm going that way. If I were to get lost I have the map and I should be able to find my back," replied Andrew.
"But I thought you said that path isn't on the map," said Mika.
"And it isn't, but as long as Lucario here can use his aura to pick up on movement we should be able to find you guys," replied Andrew.
"Be careful Andrew," said Mika.
"When aren't I," replied Andrew with a laugh.
"I can name a few times," replied Mika.
"Before we split up remember the piece in your ears it is a radio I can hear each of you and you can hear me so keep in constant contact till we are tighter again," reminded Andrew.
The group split up. Mika, Daniel, Caitlynn went straight a head down the path that Andrew planned to take to the cavern. Andrew and his Lucario went down the other path.

"Mika, Do you find what Andrew did reckless?" asked Daniel.
"I think it is. I fill it is better to stick as a group that way we can fight off Team Darkness together, but Andrew going to do what he wants to do no matter what we say about it," replied Mika.
"That's right I will," Andrew chipped in through their ears.
"So Mika, How was these pathways created?" asked Caitlynn.
"If I'm right the Steelix created these pathways long ago he dug them down deep into the land. As you go deeper down it said to get hotter and hotter. The rumor is that Regirock lives deep in this cave," replied Mika.
"Are you serious?" asked Daniel.
"As serious as you believe a rumor," replied Mika.
"I would like to see him if I could," said Daniel.
Daniel, Mika, and Caitlynn continued down the path as they got closer the path got larger and more round. They all noticed something that was off. They have not seen any pokemon since they walked into the cave. A cave like this should be littered with pokemon, but it wasn't.
"Andrew, have you seen any pokemon?" asked Mika.
"Actually I haven't. Team Darkness being here more than likely scared them off so if you happen to run into any be careful they may attack, we don't want to harm any of them if we can," replied Andrew.
As they got closer to the cavern they started to here a lot banging and screaming by the minions of Team Darkness. They were shouting get that thing away from us, and watch out for that hyper beam. Hearing this Daniel, Caitlynn, Mika, and their pokemon picked up the pace to get to the cavern. As they got closer to the opening an orange beam was sent in their direction it was the quick actions, of Daniel's Blaziken, and Mika's Ampharos that stopped the hyper beam from hitting them.
"That was too," said Daniel exhaling.
"Yeah it was," replied Mika.
They walked out and into the cavern and what they saw shocked them. In the middle of the Cavern was Steelix he was angry and sending hyper beams in every direction. There were dozens of Golbats laying on the ground from being attacked and in front of Kerry was his Scrafty and his Houndoom, and his Crobat was flying around avoiding Steelix's tail. Everyone noticed that Steelix was differnet.
He was longer and considerably heavier. His bottom jaw was more "armored" and round he also has a third pair of ridges and two flat structures with conjoined points on his bottom jaw. His rock like spikes and his tail were crystal-like. Scrapes of metal circle around his head. His body is harder and can take heat. He moves incredibly slow, but can take hits rather easily, and it will lash out with out flinching.
"What the hell that doesn't look like any other Steelix I have ever seen," commented Caitlynn looking over the Mega Steelix.
The three of them and their pokemon took cover behind a large bolder on the level they were on. Mika looked over Daniel and told him something.
"Look over there behind Steelix. It's Andrew and his Lucario," said Mika pointing at a bolder on the ground level of the cavern.
(Inside the Cavern)
Daniel and Caitlynn peaked around the bolder and they too saw Andrew. Andrew kept looking at Kerry who was trying his best to fight off Steelix and over Steelix who was just getting angrier and angrier, by minute.
"Andrew, we see you what our plan?" asked Mika.
Before Andrew could respond the bolder he was behind was lifted up by Steelix's tail and tossed at Kerry. Andrew was exposed and impressed by the power of Mega Steelix. Kerry's Houndoom avoided it by Scrafty wasn't so lucky and was hit by the rock that Steelix tossed at them. Scrafty was returned before he was sent into a wall of the cavern. After the bolder was moved Kerry and a few minions still trying to fight Steelix saw Andrew. Kerry didn't know what to do did he want to attack Andrew or get the Steelix. His decision was to get the Steelix. That split second of indecision cost him. He watched as Steelix slammed his tail coated in iron right into Houndoom and sent him in a wall of the cavern. Kerry returned him his Crobat flew right in front of him. Steelix turned his attention to the last five or six Golbats still flying around.
"Were pulling out. Crobat cover our escape with haze," ordered Kerry.
Before Crobat could use haze Steelix struck him with his tail. His minions returned all of their fallen pokemon and started running out the way they came in. In the midst of trying to pull out half his minions and himself were stuck in the room. Mega Steelix lifted the bolder that Daniel, Mika, and Caitlynn were behind and dropped in their path. The few minions left in the room looked at Kerry for answers, he had none. After dropping the rock Mega Steelix then sent an orange beam in their direction.
"Lucario use aura sphere," said Andrew.
Lucario charged two singles sphere's of aura in each hand before brining them together and creating a single beam that Lucario sent at the hyper beam. The attack protected the Team Darkness member's from getting hit and Mega Steelix turned his attention to Andrew and Lucario. Andre nor Lucario flinched he stood there and looked at the Steelix. Steelix looked at him and then dug down in the center of the cavern. Daniel, Mika, and Caitlynn came down and joined Andrew in the center of the cavern.
"Where did he go?" asked Daniel looking around.
"I have no idea," replied Andrew.
All of them looked around them room and could not find him. Panic begun to set in all of them. The concern now was that an angry Steelix was no were to be seen and more than likely on his way out of the cave.
(Deep inside the Cave)
In an isolated room away from everything lay the sleeping regi. As the events above him happened he awoke the H pattern on his head lite up. The one light bounced around before he stood up. Regirock looked around the room and then started to walk away from the room he slept in and out back into the cave. He walked up the cave he was in for a long walk up the path.
(Back into the Cavern)
Kerry and the other trapped Team Darkness members managed to sneak away while Andrew, and the others were looking for Steelix. They snuck out another entrance into the cavern. At this moment they were the least of Andrew's concerns his focus was on Steelix and finding him.
"Morgan do you copy?" asked Andrew over the ear piece.
"Yeah I got you Andrew," replied Morgan.
"Do you see Steelix out there?" asked Andrew.
"No, I... Hold there is a lot rumbling out here," replied Morgan looking around outside.
"F**k that's not good, Morgan whatever you do don't engage the Steelix we are on our way out," Andrew said concerningly.
"What makes you think... Morgan was cut off because about 15 feet in front of him was now this angry Iron Snake Pokemon it distracted Morgan.
"Morgan stay put we are on our way," said Andrew.
Andrew, Daniel, Mika, Caitlynn and their pokemon took off in the direction Andrew came. they ran as fast as they could till they were out breath and outside. After they left the room Regirock walked in he studied the damage from the room before moving on.
(Outside)
Once outside they were shocked by the destruction Steelix had caused. There were downed trees, trees on fire and still standing just outside the forest a mere 10 feet away from Andrew, and the others was Steelix. Before they had time to catch their breath Steelix started moving again he was slithering through the burning forest. The fire from the forest could be seen from the city and had the people in the city on edge concerned on what was going on. Morgan ran over to Andrew and the others.
"We have to get ahead of that iron snake and prevent him from going any further. Morgan, Mika follow behind him stay on his tail at all times don't let him get out of your sight. Daniel, Caitlynn, you two are with me we are going to fly to get ahead of him and stop him by any means," said Andrew.
Andrew returned Lucario to his normal form then returned him to his pokeball and then called out Flygon. Daniel returned Blaziken to his pokeball and called out Salamence. Andrew climbed on Flygon and then took off Daniel and Caitlynn climbed on Salamence and they too took off. Mika, and Morgan called out their pokemon they fly on followed the iron snake through the forest. Andrew, Daniel, and Caitlynn landed just outside the forest.
"We cannot let him go any further then this because behind that hill is the city if he was go there the forest is just a small amount compared to what he could do there," stated Andrew.
Daniel called back out his Mega Blaziken and this time around Andrew went to his Charizard. He quickly mega evolved his Charizard and they stood there waiting for Steelix. Caitlynn called out her Ninetales to help out as well. As Steelix moved through the forest the trees around him swayed back and forth or they fell to the ground. The fire spread throughout the forest and sent smoke into the air. The pitch black smoke sent more concern through the city of Kansas City as all many saw was this big puff of smoke in the air. They had no idea what was causing it.
Before Steelix got to Daniel, Andrew, and Caitlynn, Mika and Morgan landed Mika called back out her Ampharos and Morgan called out his Talonflame to assist.
"Guys listen up we don't attack him unless we are countering his attacking. We have to match whatever he dishes, once he unleashes enough energy he'll calm down and he'll return to his home. Like I said to Dan beyond that hill is the city we can't let him go there," stated Andrew.
They all stood there for a few moments as they waited for Steelix and his trail of destruction. As Steelix reached the end of the forest where everyone was standing Andrew stopped him in his tracks with a flamethrower at the ground near his head. Steelix stopped slithering and stood up way above trees.
Regirock was now outside and looking at the destruction of the forest his H beeped a few more times before he kept moving going right through the flames.
Charizard and Talonflame flew around Steelix keeping his attention he tried to swat them out of the sky with his tail. Blaziken, Ampharos and Ninetales remained ready when they are needed their eyes didn't leave the sight of Steelix. Steelix got tried of chasing around the pokemon in the air and sent a hyper beam in the direction of the grounded pokemon. Blaziken and Ninetales sent a flamethrower and Ampharos sent a thunderbolt to counter the hyper beam. Once all the attacks hit one another it caused a massive explosion and sent more smoke into the air. The slowly moving Regirock noticed the smoke and kept moving.
Through the smoke Steelix crashed his tail into the three pokemon that countered his hyper beam. It sent the three pokemon in all different directions. It sent Blaziken into a tree across from Steelix. It sent Ampharos and Ninetales into the ground next to their trainers. Steelix turned his attention to Blaziken and readied a hyper beam.
"Charizard use flamethrower," shouted Andrew.
Charizard landed in front of Blaziken and sent a blue stream of flames at the orange beam that Steelix sent in that direction. The two attacks collided and caused yet another massive explosion. Charizard took back to the air while Steelix looked around for the other two pokemon he knocked down.
"Thanks Andrew for protecting Blaziken," said Daniel.
"It's fine let's wait for that smoke to clear to see where he is now," replied Andrew.
The smoke cleared and everyone saw Steelix's next target and that was the still recovering Ampharos and Ninetales. Steelix slammed his tail into them again and sent them even further away from their trainers and alone. After doing so Steelix readied a hyper beam and before he sent it, that attack was meet by another hyper beam. Everyone looked to their right and saw Regirock with his bolder hands up and a ball of orange in between them.
"Wow that's Regirock," acknowledged Andrew.
"Yeah that is he protected Caitlynn's and Mika's pokemon," said Daniel.
"I know he did. I guess the rumors about him resting in this cave was true. If I had to guess the rumbling must have awoken him, and lucky for us he got here soon enough," replied Andrew.
Regirock looked over at Steelix and Steelix looked over at him.
"Daniel this our chance we have to hit with a flamethrowers now while Regirock has him distracted," said Andrew.
"Ok, Blaziken use flamethrower," shouted Daniel.
"Charizard use flamethrower as well," shouted Andrew.
A stream of orange and a stream of blue were sent at the distracted Steelix. The two streams hit Steelix in the back of the neck and sent his head into the ground. His head rested there for a few minutes before he popped back up. This time when he popped back up he looked more relaxed and calm. Steelix looked around and saw the destruction he caused he then looked over at Regirock. It appears now the whole situation has calmed down, to bad it was only for a moment. Team Darkness Helicopters appeared over the horizon and shot off rockets filled with next at Steelix. They trapped Steelix or thought they did. They then released and electric shock and that caused pain for Steelix and it aggravated him. One of the Helicopters landed behind everyone and Marco walked out.
"Let him go Marco," shouted Andrew.
"Andrew you foolish idiot that much power shouldn't be locked up in the cave. It should be free to do as it pleases and now it is at our disposal," replied Marco with a laugh.
"Are you dumb or something you can't control that. It took all of us and Regirock to stop his angry rage caused by the stupid acts Kerry did. That pokemon doesn't use his mega abilities for anyone trainer he uses them to protect this cave, to protect Regirock," said Andrew.
"I'm quiet tried of listening to you. Metagross go," said Marco.
Charizard landed in front of Andrew and let out a growl ready for battle.
"Andrew, I want to battle him," said Daniel.
"Are you sure?" asked Andrew.
"Yes I am. Go help Steelix leave him to me," replied Daniel.
"Mika will stay with you if you need her," said Andrew.
Andrew turned his attention back to Steelix as he thrashed around in the net. Regirock used the lock-on attack to lock on to the helicopter that had the net around. Regirock sent a cannon of electricity at the helicopter. The side door swung open and Kerry ordered his Houndoom to use flamethrower to nail the ball and destroy it.
"Let's see you stop this Charizard use flare blitz," shouted Andrew.
Charizard turned blue and flew right at the side door that was open. Charizard crashed into that Helicopter and caused it to crash just west of the forest. After that Helicopter crashed a third one landed next to it and those members helped those in the crashed move into the other one. That third helicopter took off. Andrew didn't see the point in chasing after that one and he let it go. Steelix was finally able to free himself and slithered his way back into the cave. Andrew saw this and was finally happy that part was over. He then returned his focus back to the battle that was happening between Marco and Daniel.
(Marco vs. Daniel: Mega Metagross vs. Mega Blaziken)
"Metagross use zen headbutt,"
"Blaziken use blaze kick,"
Blaziken jumped into the air and came down with one of his feet on fire. He hit Metagross right on the top of his head and Metagross crashed into the ground.
"Metagross use psychic,"
Metagross lifted his head up and a blue wave of energy out. This wave of energy pushed Blaziken into a tree that was on fire. Marco returned Metagross as he saw Andrew and Charizard coming.
Blaziken jumped off the tree and back in front of Daniel. Marco walked back into his Helicopter and looked directly over at Andrew and Daniel.
"What is Goodsworth up too?" Andrew demanding an answer.
"The world will know in due to time you don't have to worry about that. With power of the orbs we possess we will rule," shouted Marco.
"You are blinded by power. Those orbs don't mean you rule those orbs unlock a power deep inside Groudon and Kyorge. That power cannot be stopped and if you thought you could control you won't be able too," replied Andrew.
"Till next time Daniel I look forward to battling you again," said Marco as his helicopter lifted up off the ground an in the air.
Regirock locked-on to the helicopter and sent a zap cannon into it. Marco jumped off the helicopter and on to his Metagross as the helicopter went down. Andrew and the others went over to the crashed ship and pulled out the survivors of it. The helicopter bursted into flames. Regirock looked over at the down Helicopter acknowledged it and then went back into the cave. Everyone returned their pokemon and looked at the forest that was still in flames.
(A Few Minutes Later)
Firetrucks from Kansas City arrived and put the fire out it in all took 4 hours to put the flames down. Two city officials arrived at the scene and wanted answers on what happened.
Before they could ask anyone anything Andrew told them that the Pokemon League will handle the investigation and they will not question anyone here. The City Officials didn't look happy about being stone walled by the Pokemon League, but since it was a pokemon matter they have the right to handle it. The City Officials already knew that the Pokemon League will cover it up and they will not hold anyone responsible for the events that transpired today.
"I could use a shower and a fresh meal," said Mika.
"If you want Mika you can go. We are done here," replied Andrew.
"Ok I'll see you later than," said Mika calling out Dragonite and flying off into the city.
"She's right I could use a meal too," said Daniel listening to his stomach growl.
"Let's go then the city has control over the situation now. I'll treat you two some food. I know there is this good Chinese food place in town called 'Golden Duck' we'll go there," replied Andrew.
"Ok we'll meet you back in the city," said Daniel.
"Before you go Daniel and Caitlynn you two are to tell no one what happened here today. If you are asked just say that Team Darkness attacked the forest. Say nothing about Mega Steelix or Regirock," said Andrew.
"Ok you have my word," replied Daniel.
"Same with me," said Caitlynn.
"Good, I'll see you two at the 'The Golden Duck' then," replied Andrew calling out Flygon and taking off back into the city.
(Back in the City)
Daniel and Caitlynn went back into the city as well. Andrew landed near the Pokemon Center and walked in to get his pokemon checked before dinner. Katie walked downstairs to do some training, but plans changed when she saw Andrew. She walked over to him and gave him a hug.
"Hey to you too," said Andrew.
"Andrew what happened today? We were out back training we saw a lot of fire and smoke," asked Katie.
"That's a question for a differnet day," replied Andrew.
"Ok I get it," said Katie.
"If you are not to busy you can join me for dinner. I already invited Daniel and Caitlyn, but you're more than welcome to come," said Andrew.
"I would love to go. I just go to let my sister know that I'm leaving," replied Katie.
Katie ran back upstairs and told her sister that she was going to dinner with Andrew, and before Emma could question Katie she was already back downstairs. Andrew clipped his pokeballs back to his belt and they left. They walked over to the Golden Duck and stood around and waited for Daniel and Caitlynn to get there. This gave Katie and Andrew some time to talk.
"Andrew I already talked to Daniel about Absol," said Katie.
"Good, and what did he say?" asked Andrew.
"He basically said that it is Hypermode and that to avoid causing harm I need to grow closer to Absol," replied Katie.
"It sounds a lot like Mega Evolution in that matter," said Andrew.
"What do you mean?" asked Katie.
"With mega evolution you and your pokemon have to have a near unbreakable bond like me and Charizard, or Daniel and Blaziken," replied Andrew.
Daniel and Caitlynn finally got there. They four of them walked into the Golden Duck and the waiter took them to a table and left them with a menu. They looked over the menu.
"So how did you discover this place Andrew?" asked Daniel.
"When Hailey and I were in town for my gym battle that while training I discovered this place. All the food here is served family style so we get to eat a little of everything," replied Andrew.
They looked over the menu. Andrew ordered a plate of orange chicken, a plate of beef and broccoli, a plate of sweet and sour pork and cashew chicken. He ordered a side of white rice, fried rice, and chicken chow mien. He also ordered some egg rolls, cream cheese won tons, and pork sticky buns. It took about 25 minutes to get everything on the table. Each person grabbed what they wanted and ate. After everyone was full the all got to take some leftovers back to either the pokemon center or the hotel room. Andrew was given the bill and got up and paid for the meal at the register and then walked back and took a seat.
"Andrew thank you for dinner," said Daniel.
"I should be thanking you two. You two were a big help," replied Andrew.
"Anytime Andrew," said Daniel.
"I better go I have an early flight tomorrow and I wanted to see some of the town before I left. Good luck at your next contest Caitlynn I'll be rooting for you," said Andrew.
"Where are you off to tomorrow?" asked Daniel.
"I'm off to London, England for business," replied Andrew.
"Does it have to do with the Champion's League Meeting?" asked Daniel in response.
"How do you know about that. I don't think I told you about that," replied Andrew.
"My friend Anja called me and told me about. She also said something about being summoned by a panel about her missing Champion," said Daniel.
"I see," replied Andrew.
"Do you know something about that?" asked Daniel.
"I now sit on that panel that is questioning her and her peers about Blaine," replied Andrew.
"I always thought she was a good elite four member she wouldn't do anything wrong," said Daniel.
"That maybe true, but her Champion did and she has to know something about it," replied Andrew.
"What did he do exactly that has her on edge?" asked Daniel.
"He is wanted for corruption that's what we are leaving it as, but if you talk to her before we do in London you can reassure her that we are not after her job she has been great taking the reins of the region and we respect that or at least I do," replied Andrew.
"Ok," said Daniel.
"Well Katie if you are ready we better go. Daniel till next time see ya later," said Andrew standing up and leaving. Katie was right behind him.
They walked back through town till about 8pm before Andrew back over to the Pokemon Center. After saying good bye to her he walked back over to the hotel he and Morgan were at. He stood in the lobby and called Morgan down. It took Morgan 30minutes to get to lobby because he was in the shower when Andrew texted him.
"What do you need Andrew?" asked Morgan.
"I want you in California after I leave tomorrow. You are to meet up with Tina and Melissa to help them out. Once they are done with you there you will head back to DC and work from there on work Jen assigns you. I need a full team effort while I'm gone whatever Marc asks either one of you to do you'll do it for him," replied Andrew.
"You could've just called and told me that," said Morgan.
"I know I could've but I wanted to tell you in person. I also wanted to say thank you for helping today a lot happened and I am grateful for your help," said Andrew.
"It's my job to help you weather I like it or not, but as person I have gained some respect for you. You know how to get things done and how you want them done. This makes our job easier when we have someone with a plan," replied Morgan.
"Morgan thank you for that, go get some rest I'll see you tomorrow," said Andrew.
Both of them headed back into their rooms and went to bed for the evening.
(In an abandoned Buliding in KC)
"That Steelix was harder to handle than we thought" said Marco to Kerry.
"Yeah, I thought I had enough men when I went into that cave, but I was wrong that Steelix was to unpredictable and it didn't help Andrew and his friends showed up," replied Kerry.
"We lost to many men to make another attempt at trying to capture so let's pull out and head back to San Francisco. We have to prepare for another attack in LA during the press release of the new 16th gym leader," said Marco.
"Then let's go we only have three helicopters left so not everyone will get to come," replied Kerry.
"Leave the unimportant and useless here the rest will leave with us. Mr. Goodsworth already knows what he is doing and that is attacking the ship Andrew is using in Hawaii. And for us Andrew won't be here when that happens so Goodsworth will have the advantage over the whole situation," said Marco.
They only loaded the scientist and a couple minions before they left the building and headed back to California. They left about 10 minions there with nothing but some food.
We not only saw Mega Steelix, but also Regirock. The damage to that forest was unmeasurable and you can tell that the City is unhappy with what happened and not knowing about Andrew being here. It is also the shows what damage a mega pokemon can do. It will be another 3 or 4 chapters before the first one with Andrew being in London.
Poke Update:
Mega pokemon can be destructive when angered.
They meet the Legendary Pokemon known as Regirock.
Trainer Update:
Andrew is now going to be heading to London.
Team Darkness Update:
The attempt at capturing Mega Steelix will go down as a failure.
We also now know a few of their next targets including the Ship in Hawaii and an event in LA.
