Warning: SMUT AHEAD!
Chapter 26: Stay right by my side.
"Thanks for letting us stay," Kira said and Eric stood next to her, nodding his head.
"We'll tell our leader about your kind hospitality," Eric explained.
"Well, we wish you a safe journey back to your camp," Wayne said and Kira looked over at Ally who wasn't paying attention to the departure, and focusing on Nathan in her arms. Kira walked away from Eric and she made her way over to Ally.
Ally looked over and a frown appeared on her face. She quickly looked over at Austin who was sat down at one of the tables with Jess on his lap. He looked right back at Ally and she flashed him a smile, telling him she was alright.
"Ally," Kira whispered. "I know your glad I'm leaving, but this may be the last time I ever see you again...so I just want to say I'm sorry for the things I did to you in high school, I'm sorry that I almost drove you to suicide...I realize how stupid I was, and you can't guarantee you'll have tomorrow, so I just wanted to apologize. I don't mind if you can't forgive me, but I just want you to know."
"Okay," Ally replied and she kissed Nathan's forehead. "I don't forgive you, but I accept your apology."
"Thank you," Kira whispered and she turned and walked over to Eric.
After a few minutes Wayne and Ronny left to see them out of the gates and Kira took one last look at the prison, then Erica grabbed her arm and began to pull her down the dirt road.
"We need to hurry and get back!" Eric snapped.
"Stop pulling me!" Kira hissed back and he let her go.
"That place is everything our groups been looking for!"
"I know, but I doubt Wayne's going to let seventeen of us in there!" Kira reminded him.
"Who said anything about telling Wayne. Rufus is going to want the prison, so we'll take it, kill them all," He explained.
"KILL THEM!" Kira shrieked. "There's children...babies in that prison, you can't be serious."
"I'm Rufus's best friend, he's going to listen to me, not you!" He snapped.
"B-But...Eric, they helped you when you got hurt. They let us stay there for longer then we should've...we can't kill them, Ally's just had a baby, she almost died, you can't take that away from her," Kira explained.
"I thought you hated her!"
"BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL!" She shouted, pushing him backwards. "Eric, we are grown ups now. Act like it, we're not going to kill them!"
...
Ally put Nathan down in the cardboard crib. She wrapped the blanket tight around him and his eyes were close, whilst he slept peacefully. Strong arms wrapped around her waist and her giggles were muffled by Austin's big hand.
"How are you this mornin' Mrs Moon," He kissed the pulse on her neck and she smiled against his hand. He brought his hand away and wrapped it around her waist.
"I'm doing great," She smirked.
"How about we go and take a trip to the library...or the showers?" He suggested.
"I need to watch Nathan," She whispered.
"I'm sure Sarah won't mind watching him," He whispered into her ear. "Plus, we're going out on a run in a few hours, I kind of want to have some fun before that."
"Oh," Ally giggled. "What did you have in mind?"
"I think you know...we haven't been together like that in months," He kissed her jawline and her eyes flickered to Nathan.
"Okay," She whispered and she tapped his hand, so he let her waist go. She walked out of their cell and she saw Sarah talking to Dean. She was consciously hiding her stumped arm behind her back, the knife attached to the end of it catching on the back of her shirt. She was smiling sweetly up at Dean and Ally smiled, glad to see she was happy.
"Hey Sarah," Ally called out and she leaned over the metal railings so Sarah could see her.
"Hi Ally," She greeted.
"I don't mean to bother you, but could you keep an eye on Nathan for a bit, he's sleeping now so he shouldn't be a bother," Ally explained and Sarah nodded her head.
"That's fine," Sarah replied and Austin walked over, lacing his fingers through her. He guided her down the stairs and through the door. He guided her down the candlelit corridor. He looked back at her and there was a mischievous smirk on his face. She giggled in response and she found it strange how she was getting a butterfly feeling in her stomach, they'd done this many times before, but it was their first time since she'd been pregnant with Nathan, and she was kind of nervous.
He opened up a door to their right and she saw a double bed along the far wall. There was a mirror and drawer. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and Austin smiled at her.
"Where the hell did you find a bed?" Ally asked.
"I found this place this morning...guess it was a room for the guards to rest," He explained, then he shut the door, turning the lock. He walked back over to her and she turned to face him, her nose almost touching his. The smile slowly faded from her face and fell into a thin line, lust fogging up her eyes. "You look beautiful-"
"No time for that," She whispered, her hot breath plastering his face. "We've got to go on a supply run in a bit," She crashed her lips against his, and Austin smiled against her soft lips.
Austin walked her backwards, until her calves hit the side of the bed, and he slowly lowered her down onto the dusty mattress. He straddled her waist, never taking his lips away from hers. His stroked his rough hands down her sides, then gradually pushed them underneath her navy top.
Ally placed her hands on his solid chest, and she moaned quietly against his lips, feeling hers becoming raw from his passionate kisses. Ally brought her leg up and hooked it around his waist, then she quickly flipped the position and rolled him onto his back and she towered over him. She wrapped her fingers around the hem of her top and pulled it up and over her head, throwing it off to the side.
She rested her hands either side of his face, her long hair tumbling across her shoulder and gently brushing his face. Her lips were bright red and swollen, a playful smirk crept up onto her lips, and she slowly lowered her head and placed soft and gentle kisses to his red lips. Her body was molded to his and Austin could feel his pants tightening, when she rubbed herself against his body.
Austin placed his hands on her hips, his fingers drawing small little circles in the dimples of her back. She brought her mouth away from his and stared down at him lovingly, she brought her hand up and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. Austin caught sight of the ring on her finger, and he reached out taking her small, soft hand in his big ones. He kissed her ring finger and he looked back into her eyes. His eyes flickered to her lips and he moved in closer to kiss her, but in one swift movement, he flipped her back onto her back. She giggled and he quickly removed his top, then began to kiss the skin of her neck.
He sucked and flicked his tongue against her sweet skin, his hands trailed up to her breasts, cupping them through her bra. He reached around and undid the clasp, she moved the straps down her arms and he took it from her, tossing it over his shoulder. He kissed a wet trail down to her hard nipple. His mouth immediately latching onto it, she groaned in response and she buried her fingers into his thick hair.
Her stomach began to do back-flips and she felt her whole body beginning to tingle. A hot rush surged through her body and Ally's eyes fluttered closed. Austin glanced up at her through hooded eyes and smirked at the reaction she was having. He brushed his fingertips against her stomach, then he undid the button of her trousers. Ally's eyes opened and she gazed at him contently as he pulled her trousers down her legs. She grabbed the buckle of his belt and began to undo it quickly, the need for him coursing through her veins. She took off his trousers, then grabbed the side of his neck, pulling his lips back to hers and she delved her tongue deep into his mouth.
Ally could feel his hardness press against her and she felt herself get wet in response. Austin's fingers curled around her panties and he tore them from her body. She separated her lips from his and smirked. She pushed his boxers down and they landed in the spot next to her panties. Ally hooked both her legs around his waist, locking her feet together. Her lips were so close to Austin's, but she didn't want to kiss him yet, she wanted to see his reaction and he wanted to see hers. It had been too long.
Austin slowly pushed himself inside of her. Ally softly whimpered, and her hot breath plastered his swollen lips, whilst her eyes fluttered closed. Austin groaned from deep inside his throat, his face going to her neck and he nuzzled his nose against her quickening pulse.
They stayed like that for a while, just embracing the feeling of being so close again after everything they've been through. Austin began to move, thrusting slowly in and out her. She moaned loudly, biting her bottom lip hard, drawing blood. She joined his rhythm and her fingers dug in his shoulders. Austin gripped her hips, his fingers digging into the pale skin there. Ally's head rolled backwards into the mattress and another moan tore from her lips. Austin grunted in response and he felt himself getting closer to the edge.
"Austin..." Ally breathed heavily and she reached her peak. Her body stiffened underneath his and Austin soon followed after her and released himself inside of her. He collapsed on top of her and she smiled, nuzzling her face into her neck.
...
Sarah walked over and handed Nathan to Ally. Most of them were outside by the truck, getting ready to say goodbye to the departing people going on the run. Ally smiled down at Nathan and kissed his forehead. She was going to miss him, even though she'd only be gone for a few hours, but she trusted that he'd be safe here with Julie watching him.
Austin walked over and he kissed Ally's forehead, then took Nathan from her arms and held him against his chest. Ally smiled, then Wayne came over.
"We need to get going," He said.
"Okay," Ally whispered. Austin kissed Nathan's head, then handed him over to Julie. Ally watched her walk inside and she sighed.
"He'll be fine," Austin said.
"I know," She sighed. "I'm just going to miss him."
Jess, Nevil and Billy came running over and Ally crouched down in front of them.
"Your coming back, right?" Jess asked.
"Of course I am," Ally whispered and Nevil smiled.
"When are we going to celebrate you and Austin getting married?" Nevil wondered.
"Well, we didn't wanna' make a big thing out of it," Ally explained.
"No! We should celebrate us all becoming a proper family!" Billy bounced up and down in excitement and Ally smirked.
"Okay, when we get back we'll celebrate. Just Austin and I, you three and Nathan," Ally said and they all nodded their heads. "I'll see if I can grab some food and drink...and maybe a few presents."
"Okay!" The three of them beamed at her, then stepped into her embrace. She kissed them all on their heads and then they ran off. She got to her feet and turned to Austin, who was slipping a gun into his belt.
"Here's a knife," He handed her a long knife and she slipped it into her belt. "I don't want-"
"You don't want me to leave your sight. I know, I get it. I'm not going anywhere," She interrupted. "Austin, I'm not going to make that mistake again."
"Okay," He whispered.
"C'mon, get in the truck let's go!" Wayne said and Austin and Ally slipped into the backseat with Ronny and Dean got in the front.
Lucas wanted to come on the supply run, but Wayne ordered him to stay and look after the rest of the group. Ally knew that both of them were having a small war with one another. Both of them were strong leaders and both had strong opinions on things, and it was causing trouble between both of them, because they both wanted to run things differently.
"Hey, Ally your a girl," Dean said, looking over his shoulder.
"Yep, last time I checked, I was," She giggled.
"How would you like to be...wooed?"
"That's my wife your talkin' too!" Austin snapped.
"Chill, I was just asking for her opinion. I wanted to do something for Sarah," Dean added and Ally smirked at Austin. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and she leaned into his side and ran her fingers along his thigh.
"I thought I helped you with wooing before. The candles and the private room," Ally reminded him.
"Yeah, but I can't always do that. It works, but I want to surprise her," He explained.
"Get her something pretty," Ronny suggested from next to Ally.
"Back on the farm, I would've said yes to that, but she's different now. She's my little ninja warrior," Dean said and Ally smirked.
"Get her a new knife to put on the end of her hand," Ally added and he contemplated it for a moment, then smiled.
"That's actually a good idea," Dean turned away from her and looked out of the front window.
Ally continued to trace circles on Austin's thigh and he placed a kiss to her head. She glanced at the ring on her finger, and smiled to herself. She was happy, she'd never been this happy in a very long time.
Before the Apocalypse happened. If you'd told her that she'd be the adoptive mother of three children, had a baby of her own and be married to a man that was seven years older than her. She would've laughed, but thinking about that now. She couldn't picture anything more perfect. They may not be a picture perfect family, but they were a strong family. She knew they could make it through anything.
...
They pulled up outside a mall. They were in a private, secluded parking lot. Ally lent against the truck and she clicked her tongue. She may have done stupid things in her life, but coming to this mall was a stupid idea. It was big, there's going to be a lot of creepers in there. They were walking into a death trap.
"What's wrong?" Austin asked.
"It's a bad idea, something's going to go wrong," Ally said.
"Just stay right by me, always keep your eyes on the move for any movement," He explained, then he slipped his crossbow off his back and Wayne got out of the truck, along with Dean and Ronny.
Ally glanced at Ronny and she could see a glint of sadness on his face. She'd heard about him and Roxana breaking up, because she'd seen Derek and Roxana holding hands whilst they were on watch duty. She was glad that Roxana was finally happy, but she still felt bad for Ronny, because he didn't deserve it. In this world everyone deserved to know that someone cared.
"Hey, Ronny," Ally walked over to him as they made their way across the parking lot.
"Hi," He grumbled, and she reached out and linked her arm through his.
"It'll get better, I promise," She whispered, so the others couldn't hear.
"Easy for you to say, you've just go married and had a baby...life's fuckin' peachy for you," He muttered and she didn't let his words offend her.
"I'm not here to rub it in your face...just know Ronny I'm here for you, and so is everyone else. Don't let this get you down, life's to short to hold grudges and be sad," She explained and he finally looked over at her.
"Guess you're right," He said.
"I know I am, believe me I learn from my mistakes. I'm just passing on my words of wisdom," She giggled.
"Thanks Ally," He replied and she smiled at him.
"No problem," She quickly kissed him on the cheek, then she walked over to Austin. He looked over at her and his eyes wandered across her face, as he saw her beaming smile and he wondered what had gotten her so happy.
She pulled out her knife and walked into step next to him. The back of her hand briskly brushing his and it was a reassuring way to tell one another they were there and safe. She looked over at him with her big innocent eyes and he suddenly felt his heart dramatically thumping in his chest.
Sometimes he didn't get why he deserved her. She was to beautiful, to kindhearted for her own good. In the normal world she'd never had looked his way, she would've been with some rich college kid, who was studying to become a lawyer, and they would be living in a big house with loads of children. They would be living a life that Austin would never be able to give her, but he was okay with that. Even though he didn't think he deserved her, he didn't care, because he had her now and that was all that mattered.
They walked up to the back end of the mall and Dean grabbed a metal pole that was behind one of the dumpsters, then he wedged it into the gap, prying the door open. The lock flung open and a grizzling creak followed after her. Ally took a step closer to Austin and she glanced up at the darkening sky.
She was beginning to miss Nathan, she was missing all of the children. She missed everyone else. Austin intertwined his fingers through hers and he squeezed her small, pale hand, tightly. Wayne went in first, his knife was out of his belt and his hat was resting firmly on his head. Dean followed him, then Ronny proceeded inside.
Austin let got of her hand and he nudged her forward. He wanted to cover her back and make sure she was safe. They stepped into the darkness and Dean pulled out his torch and Austin handed his to Ally, so he could hold his crossbow properly. She kept looking ahead at Wayne, just to make sure he was safe. She looked over her shoulder at Austin who gave her an assuring nod of his head.
She didn't like it, even though he was right behind her, she felt like he was miles away from her in the darkness. They walked down the corridor, which would've been where the security team wandered to get around the mall quickly. They stopped at the double doors, which led into the main part of the mall. Ally shined her torch through the glass and could see bodies on the floor, and litter everywhere.
Wayne reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, he smiled at her, then pulled her into his side, planting a kiss on her forehead. Austin came up behind her and Wayne looked through the glass. Austin placed a firm hand on her hip and she fitted into his side. Ally rested her shaking hand on his and she let out a staggering breath.
"Dean and Ronny, your with me. We need to find medical supplies. Austin and Ally, you look for baby things and make sure to take all the formula you can get, okay?" Wayne dictated and they all nodded.
Wayne reached out and opened the door, Dean shined his torch over Wayne's shoulder and they stepped out into the open, dark space. Ally stepped out and Austin separated himself from her and she felt like he was back to being miles away, but he was only a few steps behind her.
Wayne looked back and he nodded at Ally, then led Dean and Ronny away from them. They disappeared from sight and Austin appeared behind her again and he pointed over to their right and she shined the torch over to the baby store. She stepped around one of the bodies and Austin held up his crossbow. She stayed right behind him and she quickly shined the torch behind her, just to check that nothing was following them.
They went inside and Ally saw all the baby clothes and toys. Austin nodded his head, signaling her that it was safe. He stayed by the entrance, whilst she slipped the rucksack off her back and browsed the railings and shelves.
Ally put some baby formula into her backpack and she took some of the babygrows off the hangers and slipped them in. She made her way further to the back of the store and she pulled out her knife, just to be safe.
Her foot caught on something and she went toppling forward, landing on the floor with a thump. She grunted, her breath being taking out of her lungs for a second. She looked back to see she'd tripped over a body. She sat up and looked at the man's body. He looked peaceful, even in his decaying state.
She grabbed one of the blankets from the shelves and placed it over his body. Her eyes caught sight of the golden ring on his finger. She bit her lip and looked at the back of Austin's head. She glanced back down at the ring and she slipped it off the man's finger, putting it in her back pocket.
Ally returned to browsing, making sure to grab teddies and blankets, everything that the little ones would need. She wanted to find time to catch up with George and Lizzy, because she still hadn't got a chance to find out what had actually happened on the night of the farm.
Ally felt a cold sickening hand grab her ankle and before she could react she was falling forward once more. This time she heard the groan and the snapping of its jaw. Her knife fell from her hand and the creepers grip latched around her ankle more.
"Austin!" She shouted and she scurried, trying to kick it's decaying hand from her ankle. She stared it dead in the eye and her own eyes widened when she saw it's mouth get closer to her ankle.
Ally saw his blond hair come flying over the counter that was nearby and he jumped from it, plunging his knife deep into the creepers skull. With a non-remorseful grunt, Austin pulled his knife out of the creepers head. He looked back and Ally looked up at his powerful gaze.
"I guess I'm a bit rusty on the creeper killing," She whispered, trying to lighten the mood, but Austin stormed over pulling her to her feet. He bent down and picked up her fallen knife and he grabbed her belt, pulling her body flush up against his, then he slipped it into her belt. His hand curled tighter around the material and she cringed, slowly making eye contact with him.
"When we get back, you're going to start training. You need to practice fighting!" He hissed and Ally could tell that he was only acting like this, because he was scared of losing her again.
"Okay," She replied quickly. "I will."
"Good," He grunted and he let go of her belt. "C'mon, lets go find another place. I don't want you in front or behind me. Stay right by my side."
"Okay," She agreed, not wanting to make him angry. She suddenly realized he was avoiding eye contact with and she stepped forward, wrapping her arms around his waist. She rested her head against his solid chest, and she heard him sigh. His arms slowly came up and wrapped around her body. He kissed her head and she nuzzled her head against his chest.
"Thank you," She whispered.
"For what?"
"Everything."
