AN: Please don't kill me...

Chapter 29: Dark Secret's

Ally shot up from her bed. Pain shooting to every cut in her body, but she ran straight out of her cell. Austin grabbed her hand for support and they ran down the metal staircase and out into the main room. Mary was standing there with Tom in her arms. She was staring at the exit, obviously shocked from the gunshot.

"Elliot," Mary whispered in sudden panic, not knowing if it was Elliot who'd been shot.

Ally wasn't sure if she wanted to know. Austin squeezed her hand and Mary came up behind them. The three of them made their way outside. The cold air hit their skin and Ally took in a sharp intake of breath.

They slowly walked forwards so they could see onto the courtyard. Voices and cries filled their ears and Ally saw the mass huddle of people. She saw Wayne crouching down next to the persons body and he shifted slightly and she saw who it was.

"Alice!" Ally shouted and she took off running. She pushed people out of the way and fell down onto her knees next to her. She looked down at the bullet wound in her stomach. "Where's Cal!?" Ally screamed and Dean quickly removed his jacket and pressed it down on her stomach.

"He took off after the person who fired the shot," Wayne explained and he looked out at the distance trying to find Cal.

"Frederick?" Ally asked and she looked at Sarah who was shaking her head.

"He's gone foraging with Tess," Sarah said and she bit her lip.

"Alice," Ally whispered and she reached out and stroked her face.

"Is she going to be okay?" Nevil whimpered.

"I don't know," Lucas sighed, rubbing his forehead.

"Has the bullet gone through?" Harriet asked and she shifted Alice's body slightly and she cringed when she felt the exit wound. "There's an exit wound."

"That's good right?" Ronny asked.

"I-I don't know," Ally stuttered. "We need Cal."

Alice started to move and Ally peered over her. Grace knelt down by her head and softly stroked her face to sooth her when she started to whimper.

"Alice, I need you to tell me what to do," Ally explained.

"C-Cal," She stammered, heaving for oxygen.

"He's gone after the person who shot you," Grace said.

"G-Go after him," Alice whimpered. "P-Please."

"Alice, we need to get you sorted," Ally whispered.

"G-Go after him," Alice coughed.

"I'll go," Austin said and Ally looked over her shoulder at him.

"We need to get her inside," Wayne ordered and him and Dean picked her up and carried her inside. Everyone followed them inside, and Ally stayed there looking at Austin with panic in her eyes.

"Austin-"

"I'll be fine," He butted in and she shook her head.

"It's not fair, please don't go," She whimpered and Austin stepped closer to her. He reached up and cupped her cheeks into his hands. She bit her bottom lip and looked up at him with tear filled eyes.

"You're injured and you need to rest. Alice needs you...I promise I'll come back," He explained and Ally leaned forward placing a soft kiss to his lips. She looked up into his eyes and he suddenly crashed his lips onto hers.

She stumbled backwards a little bit and Austin wrapped his arms around her body. He ran his tongue along her bottom lip and she opened her mouth for him. She buried her fingertips into his hair, pulling him closer to her body. Ally's salty tears fell from her eyes and Austin pulled away, wiping them with his thumbs.

"I love you," Ally whispered.

"I love you too, always," He whispered back and he kissed her on the forehead, then he turned around, heading to the gate.

Ally sighed and she wiped away more of her tears. She watched Austin go, then she made her way back inside the prison. She could hear the commotion and she went into the cellblock and saw Frederick was back with Tess. She walked over to the cell Alice had been placed in and all the adults were inside and all the children were hovering by the entrance.

"How about you lot go to the library?" Ally suggested and Nevil turned around and Ally realized he was carrying Nathan.

"When I heard the shot, I grabbed Nathan in case we were under attack...so I could keep him safe," Billy explained sheepishly.

Ally crouched down in front of him and took Nathan from his arms. She leaned over and kissed Billy's forehead.

"That's very brave of you, you're going to be a great big brother to him," Ally said. "Thank you for keeping him safe...Now, what did I say, c'mon go to the library, take Erica, Lexi and Tom with you too, keep them entertained."

"What about Nathan?" Jasmine asked.

"I feel like I haven't held him in a lifetime, now Jasmine your in charge," Ally smiled at her and Daniel walked into the cell and took Erica and George grabbed Lexi from Kyle, then Jasmine took Tom from Mary. They all left and Ally glanced into the cell at Alice and she sighed kissing Nathan.

Trish looked back and sent her a smile and Ally returned it. Ally could see the cell was to over crowded and she turned away and headed off towards the infirmary to see if she could gather some supplies they'll need. She bounced Nathan in her arms, her thoughts wandering off to Austin, praying that he was safe.

Ally opened the door to the infirmary and she placed Nathan down on the pile of blankets. She smiled down at him lovingly and kissed him once more, then stood up and began to go through the cupboards.

A buzzing sound filled her ears and she looked over at the small metal refrigerator, which she didn't even realize they had, especially one that was working. She looked back at Nathan to make sure he was okay, then she made her way over.

Ally crouched down and she opened it slowly. Her eyes widened at what she saw and she reached out and pulled out the jar full of blood. She looked back inside the fridge and saw there was a lot of it.

"Blood?" Ally whispered and she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. What the hell's going on?

Nathan began to cry from the absence of his mother and Ally put the blood back and shut the door. She got to her feet and bundled Nathan back into her warm embrace. She went through the cupboards with one hand and filled up the box. She rested Nathan against her chest, then jutted out her hip so the box could rest on it. She exited the infirmary and made her way back to the cellblock.

When she returned everyone was running around and Trish came over. She took the box from her and nodded in thanks, then returned to Alice. Ally rocked Nathan against her chest and Dez came out of the cell next to Alice's and almost collided into her. He went to take off, but Ally stepped in front of him.

"What's wrong?" Ally asked and Dez went to move around her, but she placed her hand against his chest. "Your not going anywhere until you tell me what's wrong?"

"Nothing," He grumbled.

"Dez you've been acting off for months now, please tell me what's wrong?"

"I-I was going to stay there...with him, with Dallas. If it wasn't for Sarah, I would've turned into one of his men, brainwashed...murderer..."

"Hey, that's not you. Dez you and I both know that you would've made the right choice either way and you did, you have Trish, and you need to sort your issues out, because that girl loves you to death and you've barely said a word to her," Ally explained. "We've all done things we regret, heck I abandoned Austin whilst I was pregnant with Nathan, because I thought it would help solve my issues...did it, well no. Don't dwell on the past...Trish loves your for you, faults and everything."

Dez just stared at her, seeming to think her words over in his mind. He stepped around her and walked off. Ally sighed and she kissed Nathan. She walked past Alice's cell and she walked into the main room, taking a seat down at the table. She saw Nathan's cardboard crib and she placed him down in it.

"How are you holding up?" Wayne appeared at her side, and gazed down at Nathan with a loving smile.

"Fine," Ally replied with a smile.

"You should be resting, your back-"

"I said I was fine," Ally retorted.

"You really are stubborn," Wayne chuckled and he kissed her cheek and pulled her into his side.

"Is she gonna' be okay?"

"I'm not sure, Frederick is doing what he can, we need Cal he has more experience," Wayne explained and she hugged his side.

"Wayne?"

"Yeah."

"I found blood in the infirmary, a lot of blood in jars," She admitted.

"Blood?"

"Yeah," Ally whispered. "I don't know why it's there...I need to talk to Cal when he gets back."

...

Ally sat down on the chair by Alice's bed. Frederick had managed to stitch her up and get her sorted. She was awake, but she kept drifting in and out of consciousness. Austin wasn't back, and Ally couldn't help, but be worried for him.

"Alice...you and Cal are friends, right?" Ally asked and Alice slowly nodded her head. "Why's there jars of blood in the infirmary?"

"I-I told him to tell you," Alice whispered, rubbing her hands on her stomach. "He said he would, but he didn't want to do it now."

"Tell me what?" Ally pushed.

"He's immune to the creepers...he saved Jess, gave her his blood. He stores the blood incase someone gets bitten," Alice explained and Ally's eyes widened. "What if he gets killed out there."

"Austin will bring him back," Ally muttered. "Why didn't he tell me?"

"He didn't want people to know, I worked it out myself...he saved Jess's life."

"I know," Ally whispered, running a hand through her hair. Her tears stung at her eyes and she sniffled.

"Ally!" Elliot came running in. "Austin's back with Cal and someone else."

Ally got to her feet and ran out of Alice's cell. She ran through the main room and out of the door. She saw Austin standing there with Cal and some blond haired women. Austin had a fowl facial expression on his face and his hands were clenched into fists.

He turned around and caught sight of her. Ally took a cautious step forwards and before she could take another Austin was storming over to her. He pulled her into his chest roughly and he buried his face into her hair. Ally was taken aback by his actions and she froze in his hold.

Ally pulled away and she looked up at him. He was still baring a hard expression and she reached up and stroked his cheek. He softened slightly moving into her touch. She looked over at the woman who was staring at Ally with a venomous look.

She was wearing a low-cut top and a denim skirt. Her hair was long and wavy, and she had picture perfect skin. The woman straightened herself and walked over. She held out her hand and Ally stared down at it in bewilderment.

"I'm Cassidy," She chirped, tilting her head to the side in a mocking manner. Ally stared at her hand, then looked up at her. She seemed to tower above her, being almost the same height as Austin.

"Ally," She whispered.

"Hm," She tutted and she crossed her arms, pushing her breasts up. Ally looked around and saw Cal standing there rubbing blood onto his face. Ally stepped out of Austin's embrace and she ran towards Cal. He turned around and caught her just as she leaped into his arms.

Cal stumbled back a little, in shock from her actions. She buried her face into his neck and he wrapped his arms around her body, being careful of the cuts on her back. She pulled away and looked up at him. She got up on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.

"Alice told me what you did for Jess," Ally whispered, aware that everyone was looking. "Thank you."

"I told her not to tell anyone-"

"I found the blood, I knew something was up. I told Wayne about it, but he doesn't know about you being immune. I'll keep it a secret," Ally whispered into his ear and he smiled at her. She hugged him once more and he returned it. "Now, I think Alice wants to see you."

"Okay," He mumbled and he walked inside the prison. Everyone stopped looking and she looked over to where Austin and Cassidy had been standing to see they were gone.

Ally furrowed her eyebrows and she rubbed the back of her neck. Derek walked over and he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"F-Fine," She stammered.

"Ally?"

"I don't understand what's going on, whose this Cassidy?"

"I'm not sure, she was just with them when they came back," Derek explained.

"Okay," Ally whispered. "I'm going to go to Nathan."

...

Ally lay down on her bunk. Nathan was lying her chest, her back was causing her discomfort, but she didn't mind, because Nathan was content lying on her chest listening to her heartbeat. She was propped up by a lot of pillows and she had a blanket covering them both.

Jess was sat by her side fast asleep, along with Nevil and Billy who were by her legs off in their world of dreams. Lizzy and George had come by to see Nathan, but they left once Jess, Nevil and Billy had fallen asleep. Ally sighed and watched them all sleep soundly.

Austin hadn't come to see her. She didn't even know where he was. Probably off with Cassidy! She didn't have the slightest clue of who she was, and she certainly didn't know why she was here in the prison.

Ally kissed Nathan on his head and she stared at the cell door. She was waiting for Austin to come by and see her, but she wasn't sure he was going to come and see her, come and see his children.

Sarah appeared at Ally's cell door a few moments later. She had tears in her eyes and her frame was shaking. Ally got up off her bed, being careful not to disturb them. She placed Nathan's sleeping form in his cardboard crib and she walked over to Sarah. They stepped out onto the metal walkway and leaned against the railings.

"What's wrong?" Ally asked.

"Ally...I-I'm pregnant," She stuttered and Ally's widened slightly. "W-What do I do, I'm going to be a terrible mother-"

"Hey!" Ally whispered harshly and she pulled Sarah into her embrace. "Don't ever say things like that. You're amazing with children, we'll make it through this. I'll be with you every step of the way...does Dean know?"

"No, not yet. I don't know how to tell him," She cried into Ally's chest.

"Do you want to tell him now?"

"Not yet, I want to wait for a bit," She admitted.

"Okay, but I'll be there for you when you do," Ally smiled down at her and Sarah returned it.

"Promise."

"I promise," Ally whispered.

"You should get back to your family," Sarah wiped away her tears and pushed herself off the railings.

"Your my family, I'll always have time for you," Ally explained. "But I should be getting back to them."

"Okay, thank you Ally," Sarah walked away and Ally watched her leave. She made her way back into her cell and she sat down on the bed. She reached out and stroked Jess's hair, thankful that she was alive thanks to Cal.

...

Ally sat down in the cafeteria. She poked at her food, aware that it was late at night. It was probably midnight. Everyone was asleep, some people were out on watch. Austin isn't asleep...he's off with Cassidy somewhere! Ally spat in her mind, her lip curling at the thought. She stared down at the ring on her finger. He's my husband and he's off with another woman! Ally was pissed off.

Her leg was shaking under the table and she stabbed the fork into the table, over and over again. Her anger was reaching boiling point and she felt like she was about to explode. Why was this Cassidy more important than her! Ally's hands curled into fists and she grabbed the plate and threw it against the wall, screaming at the top of her lungs.

Her chest heaved for air and she sat back down, burying her fingers into her hair. She let out a cry and rubbed at her eyes. Her body ached, hurt, wept, but she didn't care. She just wanted Austin to come and see her. She wanted to know what was going on. She wanted to go to sleep and have him right next to her, but he wasn't anywhere around.

Ally stood up and she walked over to the smashed plate and began to clean up the shards. She walked into the kitchen and deposited the shards into the trash. She turned on the water and washed her hands, splashing water onto her face. She sniffled and rubbed at the water droplets.

"Mommy?" Ally turned around and saw a tired Jess standing there, rubbing her eyes. "I can't sleep."

"Come here sweetie," Ally walked over and picked her up. She buried her face into her neck and yawned.

"I went to find daddy, but I couldn't find him," She said, running her fingers against Ally's neck.

"He hasn't been around all day," She whispered and she kissed her forehead.

Suddenly the door to the cafeteria opened and Ally walked out of the kitchen and saw Cassidy standing there. She pouted and tilted her head to the side and smirked.

"What a pretty picture," She said, then rested both of her hands on her hips.

"What do you want?" Ally retorted and Cassidy giggled.

"Wouldn't you love to know," Cassidy smirked.

"I don't like her," Jess whispered into Ally's ear and Ally smiled.

"Well, you're not going to like what I've got to say," Cassidy smirked wickedly. "I bet you wanna' know who I am?"

"Yeah," Ally said.

"I'm mean I bet you really wanna' know," She tilted her head to the side and Ally tightened her hold on Jess.

"Tell me," Ally seethed and Cassidy's smirk widened. "TELL ME!"

"You're not Austin's wife. I am!"
