Chapter 32: Protectively.
They started off their trek through the woods. Ally was up ahead, her fingers laced through Austin's. Both of them were exhausted, having not slept. Worry for Nathan was apparent on their faces.
Jaime was at the back, making sure that she was ready to cover everyone's backs. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and she looked at the back of Gregory's head. Jaime hoped that she'd get to see her dad soon. She missed him so much, but she knew they needed to get Nathan back first.
Gregory stopped and waited until Jaime appeared next to him. She looked at him, curiosity on her face and he blinked once, looking away from her.
"You got any family left?" Jaime asked, as if it was a normal question.
"No," Gregory replied. "Lost them all."
"Oh," Jaime said, taking a sip from her water bottle.
"You'd think a question like that would offend someone, but it's just a common question nowadays," Gregory mumbled.
"I know," Jaime brushed him off and she looked at him once more, trying to suss him out, then she returned to her position at the back.
Ally looked at Austin and he gave her a reassuring smile. She sighed and looked at the scenery. They were heading towards another warehouse, one which Jaime said was one of their bases. Ally just hoped that Nathan was there, she hoped Cassidy would be there. She'd kill her, let Austin deal with Rufus, then she'd get Cassidy.
"Do you think one day we could go back to the farm?" Ally asked and Austin furrowed his eyebrows.
"No, why would we do that?" He retorted.
"To see what's left, and my mom's grave is there...I haven't really thought about her a lot...too much going on," Ally muttered.
"What's left at that farm is bad memories," Austin said.
"No, I met you there. I met everyone else there, ain't none of that bad," She replied. "It was just a thought."
"I know," Austin gave her hand a squeeze, and Ally flashed him a weak smile.
"Farm?" Jaime appeared over Ally's shoulder, and Ally jumped, placing a hand on her heart.
"You scared me!" Ally exclaimed.
"You used to stay on a farm?' Jaime questioned.
"Yeah, before we found the prison. But it got overrun by creepers, we had to leave," Ally explained.
"Hmm..." Jaime smiled and she retreated back and Ally raised an eyebrow.
Sarah looked over at Dean and she had to fight the urge to rub her stomach. Dean looked over at her and nodded his head. She scrunched her face up and rubbed the back of her neck. Sarah could see the swollen mound of her stomach whenever the wind blew her top tight around it.
Up ahead Sarah saw a small creek. She nudged Dean and he looked over.
"Austin, lets take a quick break," Dean said and Austin and Ally stopped. They all began to head down to the creek and Jaime took off her boots and ran into the water.
Ally crouched down and began to fill up everyone's water bottles and Austin sat on the grassy embankment and kept watch. Sarah struggled to sit down and Dean watched her closely, she quickly flashed him an innocent smile, then Gregory sat down near the edge of the creek.
"How long now?" Gregory asked.
"We need to get to the next town, then it won't be long," Jaime said, getting out of the water and slipping her boots back on.
"Now, have you finished being a child, can we go," Austin grumbled, glaring at Jaime.
"I'm not a child," Jaime growled through gritted teeth.
"Could've fooled me," He retorted and Jaime narrowed her eyes at him.
"Austin," Ally scolded and she handed Sarah her water. "Don't start."
"We need to get going," Austin got to his feet and he shifted his crossbow on his back.
Suddenly, a twig snapped. They all froze. Ally looked at Austin, who was looking around. Another twig snapped and they all went for their weapons. A loud yell echoed around and about ten figures came running out from the trees.
Austin was tackled to the ground by two of them. Dean pushed Sarah behind him and Ally was pushed into the water by one of the men. Gregory was taken down by two of the men and a cloth was pressed onto his mouth and he ended up inhaling the chloroform on the cloth. Jaime ran towards the man who had Ally pinned into the water, she grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and yanked him away. She jumped on top of him and went to stab him in the head, but someone grabbed her around her waist.
Jaime was lifted off the man and a cloth was placed on her mouth. She pulled at his wrist and kicked and screamed. Ally was choking on the water in her mouth and she turned to go to Jaime, but she was gone. The cloth in the place where she once was. Ally saw Austin fighting off the two men and she ran forward tackling one of them to the floor. She pulled out her gun and she fired a bullet into his head. Austin punched the other man and fired his gun at him, and his body crumbled to the floor.
Dean took out the other men and Austin helped him out. Ally looked around, her whole body trembling, trying to get rid of the shock of what had just happened.
"Jaime! Gregory!" Ally called out and she went over to the cloth and sniffed it. The smell burnt her nostrils and she held it away from her nose.
"What just happened?" Dean panted and he wiped the blood on his hand, onto his trousers.
"They've taken them both," Sarah said. "What do we do now?"
"We need to find Nathan," Austin replied, as if there wasn't another option.
"But what about-"
"We're going to find Nathan," Austin butted in, and Sarah scowled at him.
"Jaime said the nearest town, we can go from there," Dean said and he grabbed Sarah's hand.
"Gregory and Jaime can handle themselves," Austin explained and Ally coughed up some more water and Austin grabbed her hand. The four of them took off up the embankment and carried on their trek through the woods.
...
The four of them stepped out of the treeline and onto the street. There were shops scattered around and houses. There were a few creepers stumbling around and Dean quickly took one out that got to close. Ally let go of Austin's hand and she ran a hand through her hair.
"W-We need to hurry," Ally stammered.
"It'll be okay Ally," Austin assured her.
"How is it going to be okay! Nathan's gone...Jaime and Gregory are gone too!" She exclaimed. "What do we do? Jaime's the only one who knows where to go!?"
One of the doors to the shops opened and one by one, Dez, Trish, Elliot, Julie, Kyle, Harriet and Wayne stepped out. They all raced over and Ally hugged Wayne.
"Where's Gregory?" Trish asked.
"We got ambushed, he was taken by some men," Austin explained and Ally bit the side of her thumb and she looked at Wayne.
"Wayne, I need to talk to you," Ally whispered and he looked down at her.
"What's wrong?" Wayne asked.
"We bumped into someone whilst checking out a warehouse...we bumped into Jaime..." Ally looked up at him with tears in her eyes. Wayne's face went blank and he blinked. He took a step back and everyone else watched on in curiosity.
"We were out in the woods and she had a gun pointed at us...she told us who she was, and we said we'd bring her to you, but when we got ambushed she was taken with Gregory," Austin explained and Wayne shifted on his feet.
Suddenly, he took off running towards the trees, but Austin ran after him. He pushed him backwards, and Wayne pushed him hard. Dez and Kyle came over and held Wayne back and he continued to thrash against their hold.
"LET ME GO!" He yelled.
"What's going on?" Harriet asked, and panic flooded her face. "Whose Jaime?"
"His daughter," Ally whispered and they all gasped.
"Wayne, calm down!" Austin snapped. "We don't know where they are, we'll get them back!"
Wayne thrashed out of Dez and Kyle's hold and he narrowed his eyes at them. Harriet walked over and placed a gentle hand on his arm. He flinched and his gaze fell on hers. Wayne's chest was heaving for air, anger and pain flaring throughout his body.
"I think everyone needs to calm down," Ally said. "Let's go inside."
They all headed into the shop nearby and Wayne stormed off away from them all. Ally watched him leave, and she watched Harriet go after him. Austin came up next to her and he placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked at it, as if it had just burnt her.
"What do we do?" Ally asked, choking back a sob. "We can't make Wayne come and find Nathan...he needs to go after Jaime."
"I know," He muttered in response and they both slid down the wall. "After this...I swear I'm not going to let anything bad happen again...we need to find some place safe...safer than the prison."
"You can't stop bad things from happening Austin. We're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse...life will always be bad wherever we go," Ally explained.
"I know," He sighed, rubbing his tired eyes. Ally reached out and laced her fingers through his. "I wish we still had the farm...even though we were still in danger, we were out in the middle of nowhere, and we could be normal, we could let our guards down."
"When we get Nathan back...we can suggest that we should move, find somewhere else," Ally suggested. "Sarah's got a baby on the way-"
"She's pregnant?" Austin asked and Ally nodded her head.
"She hasn't told Dean yet, but we need to be in a safe place for when the baby comes...just incase," Ally whispered.
"Can I ask you something?" Austin whispered back and she smiled at him. "After everything that happened with you giving birth to Nathan...would you...actually it doesn't matter."
"Tell me," Ally nudged him slightly and he sighed blowing his overgrown hair from his face. Ally reached out and brushed it off his face, and she gazed into his eyes. "What is it?"
"Would you ever consider having more children?" He responded instantly and Ally's eyes widened slightly. "See, I knew it was a bad-"
"No no no no no," Ally reached out and placed her hand on the side of his face. "It's not that I don't want too...it's just I thought you wouldn't want to...I knew we both went through a lot last time and I wouldn't want to put you through that again."
Suddenly, there was a banging sound on the shop window and they both looked over and saw Lucas, Ronny, Grace, Roxana and Derek standing there. Ally got up and walked over to the door to let them in. Lucas nodded at her in thanks and Ally hugged Derek quickly. Once they were all in, Ally boarded the door shut behind them.
"Did you have any luck?" Kyle asked.
"No, nothing...sorry," Ronny said and he glanced over at Ally and Austin.
"It's okay," Ally whispered and she slowly slotted herself back into Austin's side.
"Where's Wayne?" Lucas asked.
"He's off in the back...we found his daughter...but she got taken, along with Gregory."
...
Jaime and Gregory were both thrown into the chairs. Their hands bounded behind them with rope. Jaime hissed as the skin rubbed against her skin and she watched Gregory who was opposite her. The men walked out of the room and both of them looked into each others eyes.
"Are you okay?" Gregory asked.
"I'm fine," Jaime sighed. "You?"
"I'm good. How tight is the rope on you wrists?"
"I'm just trying to get them undone," Jaime explained, and she winced when she tried to move her arms at a unnatural angle. "Do you know these people?"
"No, never seen them before in my life," Gregory replied.
"Well, they obviously know you lot...that back in the woods was an ambush, it was a planned ambush," Jaime said and Gregory hummed back in response.
Suddenly, the door flung open and in stepped at husky figure. He walked as if he was the King of the world. He walked across the room and pulled one of the chairs along behind him. He stopped and sat down slowly. A sigh escaped his lips and he ran a hand through his dark hair, and scratched at the stubble on his face.
Jaime slowly observed him, doing what she did best. She looked him up and down, knowing straight away that this man wanted something. Jaime looked back at Gregory and he blinked once and looked away from him and back at her.
"You must be Gregory," He spoke roughly, then he looked over a Jaime. "And you must be new?"
"How'd you know my name?" Gregory asked and the man smiled.
"I know a lot about you, and your pretty prison," He returned his gaze to Gregory and he took in a sharp intake of breath.
"What's your name?" Jaime asked, curiosity ringing in her tone.
"I'm Gareth, and you are?"
"I'm Jaime, I would say it's a pleasure, but..." She looked him up and down, then an amused smirk appeared on Gareth's face.
"I like you, you've got fire," Gareth chuckled.
"So I've been told," Jaime remarked and Gregory narrowed his eyes at her.
"Now, the prison? I believe we can come to an agreement," He said.
"What type of agreement?" Gregory questioned and Gareth rubbed his chin.
"Give me the prison."
Jaime began to laugh, and Gareth's gaze snapped over to hers. "Didn't see that one coming," Jaime chuckled sarcastically.
"I'm talking to Gregory, not you," Gareth growled and Jaime rolled her eyes. "Now, Gregory. The prison?"
"The prison doesn't belong to you, it's ours," Gregory said.
"I'm trying to be nice. I'm giving you a chance to just hand it over without no one getting hurt," Gareth explained. "Otherwise, I'll take it by force."
"That's not going to happen. The prison is ours!" Gregory spat.
"We will," Jaime said and Gareth turned to her. "The prison, we'll give it to you."
...
"Wayne, you're not in the right frame of mind to go after Rufus!" Lucas yelled and the two leaders came head to head.
"I'm not going to fuckin' listen to you!" Wayne spat and he pushed Lucas back, but he barely moved.
"I'm telling you to go back to the prison!" Lucas spat and Wayne gritted his teeth.
"You don't tell me what to do!" Both of them began to push each other. Then Wayne shoved Lucas into one of the shelves and everything fell down. Lucas ran forward tackling Wayne onto the floor. Both of them began to throw punches at one another.
Ally quickly ran over, leaving Austin behind. She grabbed a hold of Wayne's shoulders and tried to pull him off Lucas.
"STOP!" Ally screamed. Lucas and Wayne got to their feet, then they started hitting each other again.
Ally tried to get in between them, but they kept hitting each other. Grace began to scream at them to stop and Ally reached out and grabbed Lucas's arm. He roughly pulled his arm from her hold, but his elbow came in contact with her face, knocking Ally to the ground.
Austin stormed over and he grabbed a hold of Lucas, and slammed him against the wall, restraining him from the fight. Austin's face had tightened and he was seething through gritted teeth.
"Calm the fuck down!" Austin growled through gritted teeth. Lucas's chest heaved for air and he slowly gave up his strong facade. Austin let him go and stepped back. He looked over his shoulder, and saw Ally holding onto the side of her face. Ronny was still restraining Wayne, who was still fighting against Ronny's hold.
Austin walked over to Ally and crouched down next to her. Everyone else stood by and watched the whole scene. Trish and Julie walked over to see if Ally was okay.
"You alright?" Austin asked, and he moved her hands away from her face. He saw the cut on her cheek and he ran his finger along it.
"Look what you pair have done!" Sarah snapped. "You're meant to be in charge of this group. Not fighting with one another. We understand that a lot of things are going on, but this is the time when we all pull together as a group and as a family. We don't fight with one another, because that its what could cost us our lives. You pair need to work your issues out!"
Dez walked over to Ronny and made him leave. Dez pushed Wayne ahead of him, and he took him off to talk things out. Harriet followed after them and Grace went over to Lucas. Everyone went back to their own things, and Austin grabbed Ally and pulled her into his lap. She wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled her face into his neck.
"It's going to get better, right?" Ally whispered into his neck.
"It will. We'll get Nathan back, and Jaime and Gregory, then we'll go home," Austin said.
"I love you," Ally sniffled, pulling her face away from his neck, and she looked into his eyes.
"And I love you," He placed a chaste kiss to her lips, and Ally smiled hugging him tight.
"ATTENTION! EVERYONE INSIDE THE SHOP! I KNOW YOUR IN THERE. ALL OF YOU. AUSTIN AND ALLY IF YOU WANT YOUR SON BACK, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO COME OUTSIDE!" Rufus's voice spoke over the megaphone. Ally pulled away quickly. Her eyes wide. Everyone looked out of the shop window to see Rufus, Eric, Cassidy and Rufus's men standing there.
Wayne and Lucas took their leader stance and they led the group outside. Ally's hand hovered over her knife. Her eyes were alert and ready. Austin was right by her side. Grace stepped up next to her, and Ally could see she was shaking violently, nervousness taking over her body. Ally reached out and grabbed her hand.
"Well, I'm so glad we could all gather on this beautiful night," Rufus said, and he handed the megaphone to one of his men. "Ally, I must say you're looking rather beautiful tonight," Austin pushed Ally behind him and Ally made Grace stay behind her. "Now, are you going to hand over the prison?"
"No," Lucas and Wayne said in unison.
"Don't you want Nathan back?" Rufus mocked and Ally looked over at Cassidy, who was smirking from ear to ear.
"Of course we do, and we're going to get him back," Kyle spoke up and he made sure Julie was firmly behind him. Ally looked over to see Derek and Ronny standing protectively in front of Roxana. Dez was standing in front of Trish and next to Trish was Harriet. Ally's eyes fell on Sarah, who was resting her hand on her stomach. Dean's eyes fell on her hand, and Ally watched as they widened slightly. His eyes fell on Sarah's face and she went to open her mouth, but it fell shut again, and Dean quickly pushed Sarah behind him protectively, and Sarah's hand grabbed onto the back of his shirt.
Elliot came up behind Ally and he pulled Grace away from Ally. He handed Grace his spare knife and she nodded in thanks.
"Hmm," Rufus mussed. "I don't like that answer."
Suddenly, gunfire went off. And everyone ran towards each other. Austin tried to go straight for Rufus, but one of his men intercepted. They both went to the floor hitting each other. Wayne pushed a man away from Harriet and he fired his gun at him. This caught the attention of the creepers in the area. Soon they came stumbling towards them all and it turned into a fight between creepers, and humans.
Ally stabbed a creeper in the head when it got to close to Grace, and she looked around to see Austin stabbing a man in the throat. Her breathing became caught in the back of her throat, when she saw the creeper staggering towards Austin. Ally raced forward and tackled the dead body to the ground. She plunged her knife deep into its skull, then yanked it out.
Austin pulled Ally to her feet and he checked her over quickly, then he returned to fighting. Ally glanced over and she saw Cassidy retreating into the woods. Ally gritted her teeth and she took off running towards her. Cassidy's eyes widened and she took off running into the trees.
Ally ran as fast as she could, and she could already see that Cassidy was growing tired. Ally caught up with her quickly and she tackled Cassidy to the ground. She let out a high pitched scream and she swung her arms around. Ally pulled her to her feet and threw her against the tree.
"YOU'RE CRAZY!" Cassidy screeched and pulled her gun out of her belt and Ally kicked it out of her hand. She grabbed Cassidy's top and tossed her to the floor. She jumped on top of her and punched her hard in the face.
"YOU TOOK MY SON!" Ally screamed and she punched her in the face again. She heard her nose crack, but she didn't stop and she punched her again.
"You're never going to get him back!" Cassidy spat.
Ally latched her hands around her neck and Cassidy made a choking sound. Ally didn't feel like she had control over her actions, but she didn't care. It was her fault Nathan was in the arms of Rufus. She almost made everything go wrong with her and Austin. This was all her fault.
Cassidy stopped moving underneath her, and Ally took in a sharp intake of breath. She let go of Cassidy's neck and she got to her feet. She stared down at Cassidy's still form and she rubbed her forehead.
"Fuck," Ally whispered.
...
Jaime and Gregory stood at the prison gates. Gareth and his men were stood behind them. A tank, they had a bloody tank. Jaime cringed. Gareth had told them to go inside and get everyone to leave. Two of the men came up and undid the rope that bound their wrists. Both of them rubbed at the burn marks there.
Jack began to walk down the dirt path and over to the gate. His eyes were looking at Gregory, and he sent a cautious glance Jaime's way. He unlocked the gate and let them both in and he shut it behind them.
"What's going on?" Jack asked.
"I'll explain when we get inside," Gregory replied. "This is Jaime, Wayne's daughter."
"Daughter?" Jack retorted, looking over at Jaime.
"Long story," Jaime replied and they walked inside.
Cal and Mary were sat down at one of the tables, Mary had Tom in her arms and Cal was giving him a check up. Erica was resting in a cardboard crib on the table, and Mary had her spare hand in it, stroking her cheek. Tess was sat at the table with Jasmine, Daniel, Jess, Billy and Nevil, teaching them how to write. Frederick was sat at another table, with Lexi bouncing on his lap, and George and Lizzy were waving toys in front of her face.
"Guys," Jack said. "I think we've got a problem."
Cal got to his feet and walked over to them. Tess told the children to head to the cells and visit Alice. George took Lexi and Jasmine bundled Erica into her arms, and Jess took Tom with her. Once they were gone, they all sat down at one of the tables.
"Who's this?" Cal asked, pointing at Jaime, who took a seat next to Gregory.
"This is Wayne's daughter," Gregory said.
"Daughter?" Mary gasped. "I didn't know he had a daughter."
"Neither did we," Gregory said.
"Who are those men outside?" Jack asked.
"What men?" Frederick asked.
"There's a group of men outside, and they have a tank. Now who are they?" Jack asked.
"His name's Gareth," Jaime spoke up. "He wants the prison."
"You said we'd give it to them!" Gregory snapped.
"You did what!" Cal snapped. "I don't care if you're Wayne's daughter, but we don't know you and you don't have the right to make that decision for us."
"Just hear me out. We aren't going to hand the prison over. We're going to fight," Jaime explained.
"Fight!?" Tess exclaimed. "There's children and babies here. We need to keep them safe!"
"I know. They can leave. One of you can take them out the back of the prison, keep them safe, but if you want to keep this prison safe. You're going to have to fight for it," Jaime said and Frederick nodded his head.
"She's right. Speaks just like her dad...I bet there's other groups out there that want the prison. If we want to keep the prison we're going to have to fight for it," Frederick explained.
"This seems like a good place to live, but there are people out there who will kill anyone, including children to keep safe, and if they can't have it, they won't let us have it anymore," Jaime said. "I know I've just came out of the blue, but I only want to help."
...
Ally stumbled out of the tree's. Her hand gripped tightly onto her knife. She scanned the scene. Everyone was still fighting, but they were mostly fighting off creepers. Ally's eyes fall on Sarah, and she see's her stabbing her knifed stump into a creepers skull. Then, she spots another creeper stumbling up behind her unexpectedly. She raced over and stabbed her knife into its skull.
"Are you okay?" Ally asked urgently and Sarah nodded her head quickly. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Sarah panted.
Soon the number of creepers died down and everyone was exhausted. Ally's eyes fell on Rufus and she saw that his head was cut open and he was bleeding badly out of his shoulder.
"THAT'S IT! NATHAN DIES RIGHT NOW!" His voice boomed and he stormed over to the van nearby. Ally took off in a sprint, but Austin appeared out of nowhere and grabbed a hold of her. Slamming her into his chest.
Rufus yanked open the van door and Ally choked back a sob. Ally heard Rufus begin to curse and he appeared from behind the van.
"He's gone. He's gone. HE'S GONE!" Rufus shouted. "WHERE IS HE!?" Ally stepped out of Austin's hold and she cautiously walked closer to Rufus.
Suddenly, he pulled out his gun and aimed it at Ally. Everyone froze and Rufus's hand didn't shake or hesitate. Rufus's men grab a hold of everyone and two of them were assigned to all the men in the group, and only one was assigned to holding back the women. Ally stared at the gun in Rufus's hands, and she resisted the urge to look back at Austin.
"Look me in the eyes before you do it. Think about your children, Jaime told me about your children. How they died...would they want you to do this..." Ally whispered, but her whole body was shaking violently.
Ally watched his finger twitch near the trigger, and a whimper escaped her lips. She heard Austin behind her, screaming at the men and roughly thrashing against their hold. Rufus looked into her eyes and his finger edged towards the trigger, and Ally closed her eyes.
"NO! Don't do this!" Austin spat. "Shoot me instead, not her...please, I'm begging you don't!"
"Austin!" Ally cried.
"I'm not going to let him do it. I can't, I can't let you die," He spoke through gritted teeth, and Ally saw the sheen of tears in his eyes.
"As you wish," Rufus shifted his gun towards Austin and another of his men grabbed Ally. She began to kick and scream.
"NO! PLEASE, RUFUS!" Ally wailed at the top of her lungs. "PLEASE!"
BANG!
Ally closed her eyes and screamed. "NO!"
Silence fell, and she opened her eyes to see Austin was still there, but his eyes were wide. She looked over at Rufus and watched him fall to the ground, with a hole in his head. Ally looked over in the direction the bullet came from and there she saw Nevil. His gun raised and his machete knife in his hand.
Rufus's men let go of them all and they went to go towards Nevil, but they all acted instantly and began to fight them off. Ally ran over to Nevil and bundled him up into her arms. She placed a kiss on the side of his head, and she turned around to see that most of the men were dead. Ronny fired the last shot, and everyone looked around at each other. Ally put Nevil down, and she ran over to Austin. She leaped into his arms, and he held her tight.
...
Back at the prison, they had all their weapons laid out on the table in front of them. They all slipped them into their belts and Jaime tied her long hair back out of her face. She knew that they didn't trust her much, but she knew that they all understood, that they needed to fight for this prison.
"Nevil's gone!" Jess yelled, running into the room. "I can't find him!"
"Okay, it's going to be alright," Mary assured her.
"What if he's not okay," Jess cried, wiping her tears from her face.
Suddenly, the whole room began to shake, and the sound of an explosion filled their ears. The children began to scream and Jess fell to the ground, covering her ears. All the children came out from the cells and Cal raced into one of the cells and he soon came back out supporting the pale form of Alice. She was holding onto her stomach and she was struggling to carry Erica in her arms.
"We need to get the children out of here," Jack said, and they all made their way out of the prison.
Jaime looked over at one of the guard towers and saw that it had been blown up. She looked over at the tank and saw Gareth smirking. She walked over to the truck with everyone else.
Cal helped Alice into the truck and Tess ushered the children into the back. She got into the driver's seat and she nodded at the others.
"The highway, go to the highway," Frederick told her and Tess nodded her head and she drove off towards the back of the prison.
"I'm going to go to him," Jaime said, and before anyone could stop her. She was making her way towards the gate. She slid it open and she stepped closer to Gareth.
"I got bored of waiting. I'm going to blow this place to pieces and kill you all. If I can't have the prison, then no one can!"
AN: Hello! I know, sorry about the wait, but I'll explain all about that in just a second. So, an action packed chapter. I know that Jaime's actions are strange, but that will all be explained in the next chapter if all goes to plan. Wayne's a bit out of character, but he's coping with a lot of emotions at the moment. Austin has suggested the idea of more children...hmmm? And Ally killed Cassidy...Everything will be resolved in the next chapter, and I think you can all guess where Nathan has gone...I hope you can anyway, because there's only one person who's missing at the moment, ;) Hint! Hint!
PLEASE READ: I come baring...bad news? I know this chapter took a long time to come, but over the next few months, possibly all the way to June, my updates will stop. For important reasons. I'm going to try to get the next chapter up in the next week or two, so I don't leave you on quite a cliff hanger, and at least leave it in a nice place. But my exams are in 2 and a half Months. And I need to revise, otherwise I'm going to fail at life, since these exams are extremely important. So, I probably won't update, but after that the stress will be OVER! Then, I can carry on with fanfiction, finish this story and write so much more for you guys.
Thank you to everyone who reviewed the last chapter. I hope you all stay with me, because I'm eternally grateful for your love and support. Please let me know your thoughts on this chapter :)
