While Severus spent the time exploring the child's room, the dark savior sent a message to the headmaster. To inform the elder they would received the child when the time would be good. It would have allowed Harry to plan this bond with his submissive mate properly. He knew yesterday was not easy for Severus, but he wanted to change the perspective in their mating.

Harry watched him in fascination to the child's room. The way he had nodded and approved of the setting, the way it presented, and exposed. Severus leaned towards the bed and felt it as he grew concern.

"Perhaps something softer, Elario wouldn't be able to sleep at ease."

The savior nodded, "Ask Kreacher for the specific. He will run on that order for you."

Severus blinked, "Kreacher for me to command?"

"Yes, but I have trained him to come to me for finalize command that is more than retrieving and bringing something for you." Harry walked over to stand next to the man, "Is the room alright?"

A nod, "Yes. It's reasonable size as well. Elario should be fine." His dark eyes caught something and fixated at what he saw.

The potion master admired the fine wooden detail. It was much of a traditional style for the wizarding family, where the chair shifted to neon colors of magic to soothe the child and secure the sense of feeling safe. The marking upon the backseat was the ancient drawing, similar to the stars in the sky.

"Where you did you find this, Potter?" He jerked his head to his dominant.

Harry blinked, "Potter valut. It seemed to be kept there for years. Do you like it, Severus?"

"Liked it?" The man was puzzled at the rocking chair…a type that was known for its story, "It's perfect. This is one of the oldest one that several families would love to have. It's rare to come across to something unique." His fingers trailed the details of the stars.

The dark savior found himself unaware, but did not comprehend its purposes or value. However, his submissive approved it and there wasn't an issue. His arms wrapped around the man's waists and pressed his lips against the bare neck.

"Potter…p-please, don't." He gulped, felt heavy to breathe.

The emerald eyes snapped open, "Relax," Whispered, "I want you to relax, there is still more to tell you."

The potion master jerked away, causing his dominant to grip him tighter, and a growling to follow by.

"Why in the sleepless night are you unable to allow me to touch you like this? You would not tolerate dancing nor a hug, how am I supposed to relax you," A strong hum sent a shiver through the Slytherin's spine.

The dark eyes snapped his eyes closed and the man-who-lived glared. He jerked the man along to leave the child's room and tossed his submissive mate onto the bed. Harry trapped him between his arms and growled, showing his mate his place.

"I," A huff, "Don't understand why you are resisting. You tried to move, then ran off, and now, you're trying to avoid." Gritted his teeth, "There has to be something to work in your favor."

Severus opened his eyes and stared at the dominant, "I did not ask for this, Potter. I am only here for the child."

A brow raised, "Really? What of day one after the attack?"

The submissive kept quiet and bored into the eyes of the man in front of him. Harry noted it and decided a newer approach. His hand clasped around the neck of his mate's and held his neck out.

"Then, I shall find a way." Harry curled his head and began to kiss the man's neck roughly.

Severus' free hands tried to push him away and restrained himself from moaning. With the dominant's free hand, he pushed those arms down and pinned him to the bed even more.

"Mine," He whispered, "All mine," Softly into the ear.

The submissive mate tried to jerk his head to the side, but Harry saw the fight inside of him. His thumb soothed the jaw line and admired him for himself.

"Tell me how to relax you, Severus."

Severus barely looked at him. Just staring to the other side of the room. Harry felt confused…and hurt. His mate wasn't trying and he hasn't accomplished much.

"…over the times I created my spells, while keeping track of anyone. I hunted only a few deatheaters and learned to kill them with new spell I designed. I-"

Whoosh !

Kata-kata! Schlip!

A wand readily out for the dark savior and gestured his mate to remain where he was. Severus knew better than disobey the silent order. Harry saw a young woman with bushy hair tied into a ponytail and tear for the wear from a fight or battle looking. She was holding a wand tightly.

She looked at him. Blinking confusingly at him and summon a courage to her voice.

"H-harry?" She eyed him carefully.

Harry frowned, "Hermione, how did you get into my quarter?"

"A powerful spell."

His head shook, "Why not use the door?"

She frowned, "How are you alive?"

Severus sat up and she saw him as well. This was not going well as she wanted it to be.

"Professor Snape? You're alive too?" Her head shook, "I-I don't understand…why are you both alive? Not a part of the war?"

Then it clicked, "You are from another universe…" Harry frowned, "Still doesn't quite answer my question. To be in this universe, it doesn't require a single spell."

"But Ron said it's an ancient spell and might save our world." Hermione lowered her wand and tucked in her wand holster, "The dark side people were getting too closed, Ron did it quickly and shoved me through and I heard the unforgivable killing curse against him…" Her lips quivered, nearly threatened to cry.

The submissive mate rushed over to her and hugged the young woman. Harry jolted by this action and noted the new behavior to the man. Now, he began to understand…perhaps he approach too soon. For now, they had to focus on their guest from the other universe. The dark savior motioned his wand and did a spell. The result was not pleasant…

"The wormhole portal is closed off…for ten years. I do not think your Ron managed to open it. He pushed you through after doing the spell to protect you…for what purpose of it?" His head tilted, "What does sending you to another universe justify for your war?"

Severus glared, "Would you shut up? You're making the situation worse, Potter."

The emerald eyes rolled, but seeing the witch in tears. He saw that she was a few years younger and assumed a few things.

"I'm sorry for your loss." His hands tucked into his pockets, "I'll sort out an arrangement until the opening. Any particular colors for the room?" He looked at the witch.

She sniffled, "Pink and blue…but, Harry, you don't need to do this for me. I can always arrange it myself-"

His head shook, "No…you are under our care now. Severus approaches you already and the looks of things, he will not let you walk out to be alone for ten years. Merlin," He scoffed, "Being alone for four years is bloody bad enough." He smirked.

Hermione stared at him, confused with his behavior…but he made a point. She softly smiled and nodded to accept it.

"Is your Hermione alive?"

Harry nodded, "Very much. Everyone here is alive except for a large population of death eaters."

She didn't understand what he had meant after that, however, she accepted it. This universe was different than she could have imagined and traveling to another was easy. How her lover did this…she would never understand. Severus was comforting her, unlike the other Severus wasn't idealistic onto comforting anyone.

Harry left the alone after casting a spell to the blank wall and disappeared into the room. Hermione sniffled and she was unable to comprehend how any of this possible. Her hand wiped the tears off and gently patted the man's arm.

"Thank you, Professor Snape…the other you would never do this for me."

The potion master shook his head, "If you are in war, there is no time to act. I do my job as a spy, Miss Granger. If the war ended and I survived, I would be myself once more and did the same as now."

The witch hugged herself, "Same man, but…" She glanced to the new door, "He's so different." Almost whispered, "He never liked his hair long or likes dark clothes…he's so different." Doleful grew on Hermione.

Severus blinked. Somehow, he understood and at the same time, realized the different between their universes. He stared at the door as well and wondered…yet, he knew for the past few days has changed everything. Perhaps a test…

He turned to the young witch and gestured her to the couch. He sat down and waited for her to join.

"Sirius died and he went into disappearing for four years. He returned a month ago to declare the war is over and defeated…Voldemort." He stopped, noticing he was not interrupted by the dominant.

Hermione nodded, "Disappearing can change a person…but if your Hermione and Ron were with him, why does he acts like this? Did something happen?" Curled her bang behind the ear, sighing along.

Severus nodded, "He went alone. He trained so much on his own and I believe…the effect of a dominant separated from his submissive drove him to that point."

The witch's cheeks turned bright red when it came to her realization. Her hand covered her mouth to gasp and shook her head.

"No one with him to keep him sane? Did…did he go to the dark side?" She gulped.

Severus knew the answer, but he knew how Hermione had felt. To talk to someone who had no knowledge of the dark savior, yet, felt surreal.

"Not entirely. He is still on the light side with the dark side. He sees things differently and faced the enemy without fear."

Hermione patted his hand, "How do you feel about him as your mate?"

Immediately silent, the fear remained as he looked at the door…wondering if his mate would do. Hermione pouted and drew out her wand and casted the spell.

"The silence spell is up, sir." She gently smiled.

His head turned, "Severus," He sighed, "Thank you. As it is, I am uncertain and uncomfortable with…the mating relationship." His hand patted onto her hand.

Her brown eyes saw his hand on top of hers', "Try…my Harry died after his mate was killed. There was never a chance. What is the problem?"

Severus rose and helped himself over to the kitchen and pressed his hands against the counter. To see the note pad with a pen, recalling the times Harry would write down to send an order to Kreacher. Hermione watched him, knowing he was not adjusted to socialize with others like her, and how strict he presented himself in the war. To be a spy was a dangerous and risky role, but to recall his death with strong fear on the man's face was a horrible way to end a life.

"…too much power." He softly spoke, "He can take over the world the way I envisioned. Allow me to kill anyone without a question or denying me. Protect me."

A brief understanding, "Ron wanted to do everything for me, but I think he wants me to be happy and live my life." How could she not pull him along? Save his life…she rubbed her upper arms.

The potion master tilted his head, "Happy…he should have left me alone."

She almost stood up from the couch, but decided against it, "Or perhaps you're afraid of your feelings," Sympathizing the man for unable to express well as he would have wanted to do.

He looked at her, "In a sense, yes."

"Maybe you should try dancing with him."

Jerked his head over to the witch…did he miss some mind communication going on? Hermione noticed immediately with his reaction and noted that she said something important.

"Why would you say that?"

A soft chuckled, "During the war, hunting for the Horcruxes…Ron ran off and hiding from the society. Harry pulled me up and danced. Just dancing with him made everything disappeared, enjoying the time, and relax a bit." Picturing that day, "The way he leads you, feels like hope again and it was going to be alright. He has everything under control, even if it isn't." Her legs curled up, "Whatever caused him to change here, I think he stayed the same for you and better. Maybe that's why I'm here…to help you."

A huff escaped the man's lips and pinched his nose bridge.

"Are you hungry, Hermione? I assume you hadn't had the time to stop and eat during the war." Fixated his eyes onto the counter.

The witch shook her head to see how much of a damage there was. Something told her there was more to understand than she had realized. For now, she would have to play along.

"-I don't appreciate the silence spell." A voice appeared, "I better hope you aren't planning to cause problem, Hermione," Harry's voice trailed off harshly and narrowed his eyes.

The witch frowned, "I am aware you are his twin soul mate, Harry and I don't play that kind of games. I just lost Ron in my world and I don't know your Hermione and Ron's status of their relationship, but I'm sure they don't give up on each other either."

Harry straightened his back and eyed her carefully.

"Considering you haven't lied, I believe you. Your room is finish." His hands slipped into his pockets, "I will have Kreacher send us food and we will discuss a few options here for you."

Hermione knew there wasn't a table in this quarter and pondered how they eat. She noticed the design and gather a couple of conclusion.

"Hogwarts?"

Severus nodded, "Yes…one of the professor quarter. Potter teaches DADA."

Harry was already sending a request to his house elf, "Considering there isn't anyone else to turn to after four years. That last bloody witch had no right to teach here." His teeth gritted, "I would have killed her for trying to fire you. Somehow, my magic leveled out to everyone to ensure that you are given upmost respect and high pride for your teaching."

Their eyes popped out when they heard…his magic was stronger than they had come to realize. Hermione shuttered and shook her head, "You did that? You could have been caught!"

"And possibly lost my job immediately!"

Harry shrugged, "I had no control over my magic and protectiveness to your, Severus. I was only fifteen…" He walked to the area as the table appeared with a chair.

The witch jolted and observed the table and chair. Severus nodded and sighed.

"The table shows up due to his magic. Give it a few days to adjust," He helped himself at the table, "Even if he isn't here." He looked at his dominant mate expressionless.

Hermione walked over and slid her fingers across the table to her fascination, "Nothing like transfiguration spells. How?"

"Learned too many spells that ended up mixing the two-"

She gasped, "-Why didn't I think of that?"

Hermione sat down, tried to process everything at once and could have done much more during the war. So many possibilities…it might have saved lives and end the war quicker.

"After Sirius' death, everyone's lives were spared?" Her head shook unbelievable, "And by the time I return there, I-"

"-I wouldn't think on it, Hermione," Harry glanced to Severus, "I have a feeling there's more to work on and we will get you back there. For now, you live with us and under our care."

"There can't be two of me in the same universe. Wouldn't that destroy the balance?" Rested her elbows onto the table, "She can't even know I exist."

Severus felt and sensed something, "Potter, don't even…no."

"Unless you have something better in mind?" A hum added.

The food appeared, which cause the young witch off guard a moment. Yet, it wasn't easing their conversation as it should be.

"Shouldn't I have say in the matter?" Hermione glanced at both men.

The potion master held his breath, "A spell he created, I used it yesterday, and it's permanent since it was not completed."

The tightness grew in her chest, "What spell you did create?"

Harry looked at her, "Ponere Iuvenis, a spell that now reduced you to a child's age and age slowly."

"…I do not see any child around?" Puzzling, making her head spinning.

Severus nodded, "He's with Albus."

"And he has no recollection of the past." Harry pointed out, "I was trying to find another way…but it's locked in permanent as mentioned."

Then it clicked, "Let's skip that idea, but why?"

"Because he knows I always protect the child and part of the role I do."

"Who did you spelled it onto?"

Severus glanced away worriedly and Harry didn't find a concern over the matter. It was too late to change a thing and perhaps, might lighten a horrible mood.

"Your Voldemort. He's now considered Elario."

Hermione gasped, "That's where he went. There are deatheaters in my world?" Covering her mouth, "Would…he grow into another dark wizard or-"

"-No." Severus interrupted, "We're raising him and he will receive all kinds of love."

The witch stepped off the conversation on this part and saw that the professor was determine. Harry smirked and pleased to see there wouldn't be an issue.

"How about we talk about it more after I pick up, Elario? I'm certain Albus is worn out looking after the child." Harry stood up, "Both of you eat," And walked to the door.

Severus nodded and Hermione stared at Harry as if he had gone mad. It was certainly different than she had to imagine. What did her boyfriend plan on sending her here for?

A knut for thoughts?
