[Kasuka's POV]

The actor sat back with a sigh of content as he picked up a book from his bedside table, careful to hold it away from himself as he shifted to lay down, not wanting his hair to drip water on it. He'd just gotten out of the shower after a long day of recording, it being a few days after the stage had been fixed, and was more than ready to relax with some reading before going to sleep early, lazy days were usually his favorite after all.

Kasuka had just gotten half a page done before his phone caught his attention, it buzzing quietly on the sheets beside him before he picked it up. It was his boyfriend.

[Hey Kasu-kun. What are you up to?]

[I'm reading.]

[Are you reading filth again?]

Kasuka blushed at the comment, glancing at his book and not seeing anything suggestive in the text.

[No, I am not. And it's not filth! It's literature that happens to be mature.]

[Alright, but people usually don't jack off to coincidental literature.]

[I don't do that!]

"Brat.." the actor muttered to himself, grinning slightly as he continued to message the man between paragraphs. He'd already gotten use to Izaya's 'opinion' on what he read, the man always saying that it's weird to read that kind of stuff, at least when you already have someone to actively perform with. Despite saying that, though, Kasuka had come back up to his room on more than one occasion where Izaya had picked up one of said books and had been reading it with no problems, even falling asleep with the book in his hand once while opened to a very.. descriptive page.

The two of them continued to tease each other about their interests until it was late with few pauses in between. The only real pauses there had been were when Izaya would suddenly stop replying for 10 minutes, worrying the reading ravenett before he got used to it and simply waited. After another couple hours of texting, the time now being later than Kasuka had planned to stay up, the actor found himself sending half-sense texts to the other by the time he realized he should probably be asleep by now to not embarrass himself further. [Im gonna gwt some slep. Luv u.]

[Aww.. Fine. Goodnight :!]

Kasuka grinned a little bit at the emoticon at the end, having been the one to put Izaya in the habit of texting them, before sending a heart back to the man. When it was sent he finally tried to get some sleep. He was disrupted first by thoughts of his boyfriend, wondering what they could do for yet another date together now that Izaya had a little more time, before really falling into sleep.

[Izaya's POV]

The informant sent his last text to Kasuka for the day, setting his phone down on the desk beside him before he stretched, waiting patiently in front of his computer for his friend to come see him now. It was late, going on 11 pm, but he the man had no problems waiting up for Shinnosu since he had gone to the trouble of helping him with information for almost nothing in return. Minutes slowly ticked by to him as he browsed the internet, not bothering with chatrooms at the moment despite how busy a few of them were, and just kept scrolling until there was finally a knock on his door.

Izaya stood and answered it with a smile before giving another hesitant 'fist-bump' to his friend in greeting. The informant was still not used to giving them, let alone being prompted for one, so he was always a little too slow with it for them to look cool either. Shinnosu didn't seem to mind though. "Well, I'm back in one piece! The four guys I told you about are already back at headquarters to be used too, so there's no baggage to keep me from crashin' your place again." the blond announced as he was let inside the informant's home.

"That's nice, though you didn't really ask. Again." Izaya noted, glancing up to see a look of worry and surprise crash over his friends face before he let out his own devious smile. The informant didn't let this smile fade when he saw a bit of guilt in his friend's expression. "I don't mind, it's not like I can't be used to it by now.. But why do you wanna stay over so suddenly?"

"No reason. I was just hoping you had some Kobe in your fridge by now." Shinnosu replied, smiling a bit too wide as he waited for Izaya to confirm or refuse his point.

"Sorry, no beef still. But seriously, what are you keeping tabs on me for?" the host tried again, smile a bit smaller now as he too waited for an answer. He watched intently as Shinnosu shuffled, acting like he was just turning to face him more.

"I'm not keeping tabs on anyone! It's just really late already and I don't wanna go home." There was a pause. "Seriously!"

Izaya finally let his smile drop and a frown take over as he crossed his arms in front of him, not enjoying that his friend would continue to lie even after being found out. The informant wouldn't particularly like him lying even without being found out, but still.. When you're caught, you're caught, especially with Ikebukuro's most dangerous man.

"Shinnosu, I've let you into my house. Are you really going to try and keep what it is to yourself?"

A silence passed between them, Shinnosu's fake demeanor going away but not his persistence. "It's nothing for you to worry about, everything's fine."

"If everything was fine, then you wouldn't be worried about my being." Izaya scoffed, now realizing that whatever he was worried about had been going on most likely since before he'd left. Almost every time they had ended a conversation, Shinnosu had ended it with something about him taking care of himself, Izaya passing it off before as just a friendly gesture between his long time pal. Now though, he was curious and demanded to know what involved him without his knowledge.

"I.. It's nothing that concerns you now, everything's alright, it probably won't happen.."

"Shin, what won't happen? Does it have to do with Shiki again?" The guilty look that was thrown at him gave him the loudest 'yes' he'd ever witnessed. "Then, what did he say?" the informant prompted softly, tired now from the sudden stress put on him after such a wonderful day. The blond looked up at him once more, this time not glancing away.

"Well, he said.. he said he wouldn't be stupid enough to use me a second time." Shinnosu sighed, hand running through his hair nervously as Izaya looked to him with confusion. He explained in a mutter, "Next time it happens, you might not make a friend."

Izaya was sure he was going to be sick.

Chapter 75!

I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry, this is such shit there is no way to justify it but I can't think of anything else to write between him finding out the plot again and just screwin around with his BF. And as much as I love writing him screwin' around with his BF, and screwing his BF, I kinda wanna move on...

I'm regretting that now. But, I'm not going back.

I might revise this chapter, I'm almost sure I will, but this is how things are now since you all know the next section.

Shiki, you are going to have some aaaaaaangry fan-girl army after your ass if anything happens now.

I hope you all liked this chapter! Favorite, follow and review to see more!
