A/N: So. Hi. It's been a while. For some reason, I suddenly decided I want to like, finish this story. So there are about to be a lot of updates in a short amount of time, as I've written about 100 chapters of this story, and have, as yet, only posted 27.
Enjoy.

Gryffindor Common Room
We're off on our first trip to Hogsmeade. Lily and I are so excited. James and Sirius said it's pretty boring compared to other magical cities and stuff, but I don't care. I think they might just be trying to ruin it for us, seeing as James put some sort of potion in my pumpkin juice. It was a bit sad, because, though it was meant for me, Janice was sitting next to me and asked if she could have a drink of it, and she got sick straight away. He thought it was hilarious of course, but I feel really bad for Janice, because she couldn't come to Hogsmeade with us. Anyway, at least they weren't able to ruin it for me. Not yet anyway. I swear, if James tries to play anymore pranks on me today, I'll kill him.
Anyway, we're leaving in a couple minutes, so I gotta get my jacket on and everything.

Gryffindor Common Room
I'm sitting by the fire. It was freezing outside. First day of winter lived up to its name. I had a great day though. It was so weird being in a Wizard town. There was Honeydukes, which is a candy store, and Zonko's Joke Shop (guess who was in there all afternoon?), the Hogshead (which we didn't go in, on account of it looking super shady and a little scary), and there were stationary stores and robe shops. It was really cool. After all that, we went to see this old shack that all the villagers say is haunted. A few years ago, they started hearing howlings and crashes and stuff coming from inside the shack. Scary, huh? It's called the Shrieking Shack. It was really cool. I wanted to go in, but all the doors and windows are boarded up. Lily wouldn't let me break in. I think she was kind of scared of the place. Oh well. Some other time I guess.
Anyway, then, before we came back, we went to The Three Broomsticks, which is run by the auntie of a girl in Fourth Year, Rosmerta. Her auntie's name is Prudy. She was really lovely, and brought us our Butterbeers really fast. And let me say, those things are good. I wish we had it at Hogwarts. It's incredible. Anyway, it was really warm in The Three Broomsticks, so we stayed in there for a while, just chatting and stuff. It was Lily, Sev, Tamara (who has been a least a little more tolerable this year), Sev's evil Slytherin friend Narcissa (who, I could swear, kept muttering 'filthy Mudbloods' under her breath the whole time – how mean is that! She must have known we could hear her), and Georgia. The Marauders joined us a little later.
It would have been cool if Janice had been there (stupid James) and Dirk and Gregory had come and sat with us. It would have been like a Gryffindor Third Year Party. Although, you know, Sev and Narcissa were there. Dirk and Gregory were hanging out with a couple of their friends from Hufflepuff that they met in Herbology, but they kept looking over at us and then quickly looking away. I swear, those boys are so weird. They've barely said two words to me for the whole two and a half years we've been at school together! But anyway, it was really nice to just have some time to relax and laugh and talk with everyone. It was a lot of fun. I'm so tired though, so I'm going to try and get a bit of homework done before dinner so I don't have as much to do before bed.
