[Kasuka's POV]

"That was still cruel and unnecessary, Kasu-kun..." Izaya muttered beside him, still pouting from the actor's earlier comment. Kasuka couldn't help but keep grinning about it.

"I said I'm sorry, I just wanted you two to stop arguing for a little while.. And it worked." Kasuka replied, holding his hand tighter as they walked down the street together, on their way to Russia Sushi to try out that dish the informant had talked about. After calming down both his boyfriend and brother, Shizuo and Namie left to their own respective homes for the day and Kasuka decided to apologize for his 'ridiculous notions' by treating his boyfriend to another dinner.

From the smile sneaking onto Izaya's face at the moment, Kasuka would say his apology worked as well.

The two walked closer together after a moment, Kasuka wrapping his arm around the other ravenett's waist until they finally got to the restaurant. Simon looked like he'd been waiting for them, greeting them with a wave of his arms and his usual booming voice before he pointed to their usual seat in the corner. Kasuka gave him a polite wave back before sitting with his boyfriend, glancing at the new item on the menu curiously before turning to Izaya again.

"So, as exciting as it was when I was there, how was your first day with Shizuo?" the actor asked, hoping that he wasn't driving an even deeper wedge between his two most important people. Izaya just grimaced a bit before shrugging.

"The beast didn't destroy anything I own so I guess it was fine. He still doesn't belong in my house though..." the informant muttered. Not too bad, he isn't threatening his existence. the actor thought to himself, giving a hum in response before he noticed the look on his lover's face.

"Iza-chan." Kasuka said, getting his attention. "I know you don't get along, you probably never will, but this isn't permanent. And you don't even have so see him every day, just the days we're not acting. Don't look so down about it."

"I'm not down about anything!" Izaya huffed, making the younger male jump. "Your beast of a brother just doesn't belong anywhere near civilized people, namely me. He doesn't respect a single thing that belongs to me either." the informant added, crossing his arms as he sat back. Kasuka, not knowing what else to do, wrapped an arm around him again for comfort.

"What did he do? You sound really upset.."

"Nothing."

"It's obviously something."

"No, it's not. His bad attitude just rubbed off on me a little."

"I doubt that. No matter what he's done to you you've always kept smiling at him. And it's almost like a treat to you whenever he throws something. So what is it?"

Izaya let out a small sigh as he leaned into Kasuka's shoulder, face half hidden and voice low as he mumbled something, Kasuka straining to hear him. "What was that?"

"He almost broke one of your presents, and I didn't even do anything. He pisses me off.."

Kasuka looked down at his lover in surprise, first from hearing him cuss again and second for him sounding genuinely upset about it. "I'm sure he didn't mean it. What did he break?"

"He didn't break it but he almost did. And it was the first game you got for me. The creepy one I really like.." The actor was silent for a minute as he wondered what to say. Izaya almost never got upset over material objects after all, so for him to act like this in general was a challenge for him to handle. Simon came up to them just in time and asked what they wanted, the two of them getting their regulars along with the item Izaya wanted to try before they were left along again.

"Um, I'm sorry he almost broke it.. I can have a talk with him about it tonight if you want?" Kasuka offered, giving his boyfriend a smile as he waited for some kind of reaction. The informant stayed where he was for a second before agreeing to the offer, sitting up again to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks, Kasu-kun. I love you." the informant whispered, getting a wide smile and kiss on the lips in return. Kasuka held him tightly as he whispered it back. "But if he does break anything, you're not allowed to buy it for me again. It's not the same." Izaya ordered. The actor just chuckled this time.

"Alright your majesty, no repeat gifts. Understood." the actor replied, getting a roll of his eyes this time.

"I've told you to stop calling me that."

"But you're my queen, why can't I call you it?"

"One, I'm the King. And two, because I said so."

"If you're the King then what am I?"

"The second King! Screw traditional monarchy." Izaya announced, earning a bout of laughter from his lover.

"I'm pretty sure I just heard all of the United Kingdom feint in the distance." Kasuka chuckling, continuing to return the informant's jokes as the night continued on, the actor deciding to worry about his brother later, focusing for now on keeping his boyfriend happy as possible.

Chapter 83!

I know this chapter is kinda short and there's no real point to it, but I wanted to show how Izaya can act when something upsets him - like Shizuo breaking something Kasuka got for him~

I like to think that even if Izaya doesn't really care about items that he would treasure things people got especially for him. After all, how many presents could one person usually get when they spend most of their time fucking people's lives up?

Anyway, the story will pick up a bit of speed again in the next two chapters so don't worry about this slow pace for much longer guys ^^

I hope you all liked this chapter! Favorite, follow and review to see more!
