Guess who's redoing this story? well atleast deleting the last chapter and legit finishing it, I recently finished the game again and I felt like redoing this fanfic, sorry it's so short for this first chapter, next one should be longer, I sure hope I can get some of you readers back!
Chapter 3
As soon as Link realized the pathway into the room rose up into the door way, he knew it was too late. "HAHAHAHA! SILLY GIRL! DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK I'D LET YOU ESCAPE WITH YOUR LITTLE HERO?" a voice boomed.
"W-Who is that?" Link asked.
"It is I Stalblind!" a red skeleton with a sword and shield appears. "Master of the thieves!"
"Gah!" Link screamed.
"Oh, I'm going to enjoy every moment of this…every moment!" Stalblind exclaimed.
Stalblind charged at Link full force. He ducked and ran behind Stalblind, or at least attempted to, Stalblind whirled around before Link could do anything, he tried running around again, same result.
"Stop running child, your attempt is useless," He swung at Link.
Link gracefully backfliped and tried to strike Stalblind whom just deflected the attack with his shield. Ugh I can't do anything! Link thought. Then he remembered Stalblind's shield. Or can I? It's a flat surface, I hope this works! Link charged Stalblind and merged with his shield. It worked! Link thought
"HEY!" Stalblind boomed. "WHERE DID YOU GO?" He swung his shield around. Including behind him! That's when Link merged out from the shield and attacked Stalblind with all his might, slashing left and right, "OUCH!" Stalblind bellowed. He grabbed his side and wiped away whatever liquid was starting to leak out.
"Ulp," Link gagged. He couldn't stand the sight of blood, he didn't even need to ask if it was indeed blood, Link knew it was blood. He decided to merge with the shield again.
"NOT AGAIN!" Stalblind boomed. "WHERE DID YOU GO!?" he put his shield behind him once again merging out and slashing at the large enemy again re-opening Stalblind's wound. Causing more blood to leak out. Link just about fainted.
…
Hilda watched from her crystal ball watching the battle between Link and Stalblind. She noted how Link almost fainted whenever he saw the unusually green colored blood leak and spread on the clothing of Stalblind. "Poor Link," Hilda said. "I'm sorry I did this to you, had I known you had a blood phobia I wouldn't have sent you to do this. Then again, we need a Triforce, so I need you to be of good courage, to claim your 'Triforce of Courage'."
Hilda turned around and faced the portrait of Princess Zelda now on the wall in the throne room. "Oh, Zelda. I'm sorry to you too. I'm sorry that I had to do this but I'm sure you understand. I'm desperate to restore my kingdom to its former glory!"
Yuga chuckled in the corner of the room, he had heard Hilda but she had forgotten he was even there. "Sure that's why you're sorry, it's not because of certain feelings for this hero or anything." A sly grin crossing his face.
"Yuga shut up!" Hilda blushed. "I- I don't have..."
"Feelings for Link? It's okay Hilda, not like Ravio has feelings for you or anything."
"I thought I told you to never mention that name Yuga!"
"Oh, I know, I just like getting you flustered about how you "don't like Link" or don't have "feelings" for him."
"Okay, okay. I admit that I may have some minor feelings for the Hylian hero." Yuga was relatively quiet after that. Just smiling a dark smile. Hilda looked back in the crystal ball to see that Link had defeated Stalblind, which whom exploded in a great white light. Link looked beaten up and on the verge of collapse. He touched the painting of that weird guy with some rod. She recognized it as Ravio's Sand Rod. That's peculiar. Hilda thought. Nonetheless, well done Hero of Hyrule, well done.
…
As soon as Link got back from that weird chamber, Ravio's bird came and snatched the Sand Rod from him. Link knew for some reason he needed it for where he was going next so went back to Hyrule to retrieve the Sand Rod.
As soon as he walked into the shop Ravio greeted him. "Hello Hero! My Sand Rod was returned!"
"Yeah, I know. I was about to use it until your bird thing showed up and snatched it away from me." Link said.
"So sorry, but I needed it back, you see I need to run a business here."
"And what other customers have you had besides me and that other bloke?"
"Um…" Ravio hesitated.
"Exactly now just rent me the stupid rod." Ravio did just that "lending" Link the sand rod.
Link traveled to the desert and traveled through the portal to Lorule.
…
Hilda noticed immediately when Link had returned to her kingdom this time in the Misery Mire -why Hilda named it that she had no clue. She told Link her little explanation of the area then resumed on watching him holding on to...Ravio's sand rod? That was definitely Ravio's sand rod. How'd he get that?
Yuga walked into the room. "How's your little hero doing?"
"Same as last time you asked Yuga." Hilda said.
"So you still looking with lovey-dovey eyes?"
Hilda started turning red. "Shut….up!"
Yuga laughed. "You acting how you are doesn't change anything. Just proves that you've fallen for the hero."
"I have not," Hilda's anger rising.
"Yes you have, face it Hilda you like him."
"So? What if I did fall for him? He probably likes me back anyway," she dearly hoped he did, that and that her feelings weren't fake.
"Why don't you ask him?"
"Fine I will!" she stormed out of the throne room.
Yuga was laughing looking into the crystal ball as Link opened the sand temple doors.
