Robin slowly allowed himself to relax, untensing extremely tight muscles, knowing that being completely tense would in no way help him. Trying, and failing, to brush off the visions he just saw, he allowed his eyes to open and look around the room. He was in the same room he had been in, and no one was in there with him. Wincing, he pulled himself up, and mentally berating himself, he pulled one of his thin-bladed emergency knives out. He growled at the pounding in his head and the fuzziness of his sight, and made his way over to where Luthor, Ra's, and Vandal Savage had walked in. Bending down close, he ran his fingers over the indent in the wall. Sure enough, there was a door-shaped rectangle carved into the wall. Smirking and pulling out his mini-torch, he began working on making a way out.

Groaning, Artemis wearily pulled herself up into the loft of the warehouse Roy had called a rendezvous at. Peeking her head over the floor of the room, she noticed that Roy was there, looking weary. Wally and M'aax were there too, both battered and sporting openly bleeding wounds. Kara was attempting to fall asleep, and Tula had sunk down to the bottom of the wall. All were looking defeated, and the green-clad archer gulped. A gash ran along her arm, and several stab wounds were littered across her body.
Limping heavily over to where Roy was leaning against the wall, she smiled a little wryly. "You look a little over-weary," she half-heartedly tried to joke before letting the fake smirk and attitude flow away and joining him in his wall lean. "Honestly, we're screwed."
"Not entirely," Roy muttered back, turning his head to look at her through his mask. "You have experience leading."
"Yeah, a miniature squad consisting of Batgirl, Black Canary, and myself! Forgive me if I think that that doesn't qualify myself for leadership!" Artemis felt really unhappy as she almost screamed, throwing her hands up in the air for emphasis.
"Actually," Wally muttered, hugging himself, "that gives you the most leadership experience of all of us."
"Oh," Artemis drew back a little, astonished. "Well… Um… Let's start with getting rid of the bots here? Um… Do any of you know how to hack?"
Kara looked up, opening her eyes. "Robin's taught me basics," she murmured.
"Okay, we'll all go in, hit the bots with everything we have, while Kara and M'aax go together to hack into the big robot. Got it?" Her injuries were becoming less noticeable as she took charge, standing tall with hands on her hips.
"One problem," M'aax muttered, looking downcast. "We're all injured, and tired. How are we supposed to take down a giant robot and tons of little ones?"
"Together," she growled, glaring at him. "Unless you feel like backing out."
"No, I'm good," the Martian replied.
"Then we strike in half an hour. Take that time to tend to injuries and get some rest. Be ready." Her grey eyes narrowed as she looked over her motley crew.

M'gann threw another empty car at yet another robot. She had lost track of M'aax in the fray, and was desperate. Chucking a lampost at the bots swarming her, she flung them all away from herself, pulling herself higher into the sky.
In retrospect, that was a bad choice. It gave them more points to surround her at, and she was quickly being overwhelmed as fires began springing up.

Groaning, Batgirl felt herself fly into a wall as a robot threw her. She was good, but she wasn't that good. She was running low on energy, having been fighting for what was almost twenty-four hours with very few breaks for food and water. She definitely didn't have the best endurance on the Team- that award went to Roy, hands down- and had only been the Dark Lady for eight months. She definitely didn't have as much physical prowess as the other humans on the Team.
Dodging a flying robot part, she tripped over a dead bot and fell flat on her face, knocking herself out.

Conner and Kara were fighting together, throwing punches and throwing cars. Kara tried not to use her heat vision or flight to help Conner feel better, but the ebony really didn't care at that moment in time. He was just punching stuff.
At some point in time, they ended up with a city between them, and Conner was cornered. He was about to throw down with some robots, but a small bot chucked some glowing green rock at him. It was a very painful green rock.

Aqualad formed swords with his water bearers and began slicing through the mass of robots, sending them flying. Garth was trashing bots next to him, and behind them, Tula knocked them back with a fierce slam.
"Garth! Look out!" The redhead screamed, turning as quickly as she could and helping the dark-haired Atlantian, unfortunately leaving Kaldur's back undefended. A robot snuck up on him, able to knock him out with a well-placed blow to the back of his head. Garth and Tula turned, having fought off the robot trying to grab him, to see Kaldur being carried off. With a scream, Tula launched herself at the machine carrying her friend, pulling water from the ocean to help her. Garth ran alongside her, warding of bots by flinging them around with his sorcery. Drawing close to Kaldur, Tula flung hard water constructs in the shape of spikes at the bot, impaling and destroying it. Garth ran to grab Kaldur, but a bot reached the dark leader first, while several others cut him off from his girlfriend. She heard him scream, and let out a scream of her own, fighting just to stay uncaptured now that her partners were taken.

Robin pulled the 'borrowed' coat closer around him, making a mental note to repay the owner of the shop he had taken it from. He was dodging robots and trying to keep himself invisible as he made his way to Gotham Academy.
Rounding the corner, he came within sight of the school. Slinking to the fence, he quickly leaped over it, landing softly on the ground. Unbeknownst to him, a little street kid named Jason was watching him from the alleyway he had hidden himself in. The kid was following Robin, and quickly leaped over the fence. The Boy Wonder heard the rattling, and whipped around, coming face to face…
With nothing. Jason had quickly hidden himself behind one of the summer topiaries, keeping his breathing low. Narrowing his eyes, Robin kept moving, listening to Jason following him.
Robin has blue eyes, Jason thought to himself, smiling. Now just to look for a teenager, who goes to Gotham Academy, that has blue eyes and black hair. Piece of cake.
I do not have any good excuse.
Just that I thought I had run out of pre-written chapters XD I'm waiting for my muse for YJ to wake back up, they seem to have all fallen asleep... In the meantime, feel free to go read Not Just Another Night. (It's a lot better than this! I've improved a lot since I first started this)
