[Kasuka's POV]

The actor waited patiently for his boyfriend, brother and acquaintance to get back, foot tapping on the floor nervously in the silence. He was currently alone in the living room, Celty and Shinra having left after their failed attempts at started a conversation with him ended. He had just been too distracted to focus on what they were saying before, his mind constantly wandering back to the phone in his hand as he waited for something to go wrong.

Not like he wanted anything to go wrong, that was the whole reason he'd agreed to staying behind. He could be a liability to the other's if he were to come and mess something up, he had no experience with things like this after all, so he'd rather stay behind and be anxious… But that didn't stop him from imagining them getting hurt on the way there, or possibly kidnapped.

The idea of Izaya getting kidnapped escalated his thoughts into making him wonder just who could be taking him away, his only logical answer being the yakuza and quickly leading back to his ultimate fear: what could and probably would happen when Izaya was finally called in to meet with his boss.

That specific fear had gotten to him recently, Kasuka feeling that Shiki had just been a bit too quiet lately for his liking. Izaya had let him know after some probing that Shiki hadn't given him too many extra assignments this time and, since giving them to him, he hasn't messaged him a word. The bastard hadn't even sent confirmation that he'd gotten all the information requested in an assignment Izaya finished.

As Kasuka was lost in thought, his phone eventually beeped, the noise making him jump in his seat and panic as he opened the device, expecting the message to tell him they needed Celty for whatever reason. Thankfully, it didn't.

Everything had been handled on their end and they were safely on their way back to Shinra's apartment, not a threat in sight. That also sounded too good to be true, as much as it let him relax for the moment.

He let his eyes wander to ceiling and he zoned out again as he waited for them, biting his lip as he wondered what to do. If Izaya had really gotten the information they needed then this problem could be fixed in no time, maybe a day or two at the most - even less probably, with Shizuo's help - but if it was something that they couldn't handle on their own then Izaya would be in serious danger if he was left alone again, even with Kasuka there in the apartment with him, ready to help. He's already in enough danger, we don't need this… he mentally sighed, wishing he could just take away all of the problems they currently had and make them disappear. There was just too much going on at once, too many factors to take in…

If Izaya's attacked then he could get seriously hurt or killed, if he does get hurt then he possibly won't be able to work on his assignments and if he can't work on his assignments then Shiki is going to be angry. He probably won't even care that Izaya needs time to heal, the bastard, and if he really doesn't then he's just going to call Izaya in anyway and hurt him more and have him…

Kasuka hadn't realized that tears were forming in the corners of his eyes until the door opened near him, making him quickly blink them away and wipe away whatever was still obvious, turning to the door. Just the man he was hoping to see came into view, still intact and actually looking pleased with himself. Without thinking, he stood up again and greeted each of them with a tight hug. Well, he hugged Izaya and Shizuo; Namie he gave a small squeeze on the arm, which she seemed to understand and dismiss. As Celty and Shinra were coming back into the room, he took Izaya by the hand and gestured to the kitchen. "Can we talk for a second?" he asked on impulse, not meaning to be rude by making everyone else wait for the information but also not being patient enough to talk with his boyfriend after they all knew what was going on.

The informant just raised a brow at him from the question before nodding. "Yeah, we can.." he agreed, following behind Kasuka and excusing them both before they were in private once more. Once they reached the kitchen he wrapped the ravenett in his arms again, holding him tightly. "Kasu-kun, is something wrong?" Izaya asked, giving him a small peck on the cheek. The actor continued to hold him, tightening his grip a little as he buried himself into the juncture of his boyfriend's neck and shoulder.

"No.. I mean yes, but..." Kasuka muttered against his skin, realizing that he didn't really have anything to say to the other besides the obvious. He took a deep breath as he thought, inhaling the other man's scent and relaxing as he found something never-changing about his boyfriend. The other had always smelled nice to him; sure, it was an odd combination of smells, not all of them exactly smells that he liked - Izaya constantly smelled like ootoro, coffee and that apple shampoo that he uses whenever he takes a bath - but he didn't mind. What he did mind was what could possibly take this away from him, and he reminded himself of that to make himself focus again.

He looked up at Izaya and gave him a peck on the lips. "I was just really worried. It's nothing... Did you really find all you needed to know while you were there?" Kasuka asked finally, knowing he should let Izaya go back into the other room with him before explaining everything but not being patient enough, once again. The informant finally gave him a smile, the other looking worried a minute ago from his sudden silence.

"Yeah, I did. From what I found there shouldn't really be anything to worry about."

"What do you mean nothing to worry about? You got a grenade thrown at you!"

"Yes, but it was a toy grenade, even if it was rigged with gas. That's probably all the poor kid can get, seeing as he isn't even old enough to drive yet." Izaya replied, the smirk on his face letting Kasuka know he wasn't lying or joking either. He had that smirk that let Kasuka knew he'd won, the smirk he'd come to love even though it constantly showed right in his own moments of defeat (in video games, of course).

Despite the extra comfort he got knowing that Izaya had everything handled, as well, he couldn't help being a bit skeptical. "A kid? What would a kid be doing rigging toys, and how young are we talking here?" the actor asked, releasing Izaya from his hold as the other pushed away, light smile now on his face.

"I'll let you know everything in the other room, alright? It's not fair to keep Shinra and them waiting any longer." Izaya dismissed, taking his hand as they walked back out and got down to business, finally able to inform all other persons about Izaya's discovery.

Chapter 92!

I was finally able to write something during school again!

I didn't finish, I only got a little more than half way done, but I still got something done!

I might actually be pushing passed my writer's block.. I really hope so.

Anyways, a little worry-wart!Kasuka and some fluff thrown in since things are starting to be fine again.

It's time for fluff anyways, even if there hasn't been a lot of chapters inbetween there's still been, I dunno, at least a week since the grenade actually went off and things got all serious? That is way, way too long to have these two not cuddle their problems away!

I hope you all liked this chapter! Favorite, follow and review to see more!
