Potions
So Lily has been bugging me all morning about yesterday. Because apparently when Peter and I got to dinner, I couldn't keep the smile off my face. She also said "a little birdie" told her that Peter and I were fighting over my diary by the lake, which apparently looked kind of... I don't know. Like we were flirting, I guess.
But I don't know. I get along well with Peter and I've always thought he was cool and everything. But I don't know if I like him. It was one day. We had fun, but I need to focus on school. Yesterday was a great example of how boys can distract you from the things you really should be doing.
Oh! I almost forgot! Peter told me something else very interesting. So I said something about how Lily and Remus have been hanging out together studying and stuff lately, and I asked Peter if Remus liked her and he just kind of laughed at me.
Then he said, "Nah, he likes someone else. Besides, he'd never betray his friend like that." And then he covered his mouth like he shouldn't have said that. So then I had to know who he was talking about. I swear, I bothered him about it for like ten minutes straight before he would tell me. And he made me swear not to tell Lily.
So it turns out that James has a huge crush on Lily. James! As in James Potter! James and Lily! I couldn't even believe it at first! I don't even really know what to do with that information!
James and Lily! Well, I suppose it doesn't matter. She'd never go for it.
But seriously, wow. James fancies Lily!
Also, I wonder who Remus likes. I mean, I hope he's not still into me, because that'd be kind of sad. I like Remus, but not in a romantic way. He's a good friend, you know? I mean, other than that one time he asked me out, things have been completely normal between us. I don't know what to think.
Anyway, gotta get studying for Arithmancy. It will probably be one of my hardest Finals.
