'Damn I am getting old' That was the first thought of Marco N. Haddock when he stirred from his sleep at an ungodly hour in the morning. Today was his birthday, one year older, one year furthering the age gap between him and his boyfriend Ace whom he had been going steady with for the past three years.

Wiping sleep from his face Marco heard the phone on his dresser buzz it was a Skype alert that same damn annoying sound that he wished so desperately to change, but it was all okay because it happened to be his beloved Ace...Wait so early? He grabbed the phone as soon as his mind registered the name feeling a shot of worry blast through him, because his beloved was never up so early it was four freaking o'clock! Marco hastily read the message

'I'm in your house sweetheart, and I have a specail surprise for you :P'

That wasn't unusual Ace did have a key, and dropped in at random times. Marco continued contemplating the message as he got up and put on a pair of plaid pajama bottoms that he knew Ace loved to see him in. After all Ace had stayed over quite a few times and they have slept together. That thought was what lingered in Marco's mind. Ace said he had a special surprise for him; he didn't mean? They had been dating for three years, but when Marco says they sleep together that is what he means sleep. That is all, his boyfriend is still as pure as a snow white orchid, and they both agreed when they first started their relationship that they should take it slow, and wait until Ace was out of college, so they could get married right? Maybe Ace just got him a cake?

Reaching the bottom step Marco saw Ace sitting on the counter with a white cake in his lap. So he was right Ace did just get him a cake, but Ace blew him away when he got down off the counter and handed Marco a letter.

"You know how I took that speed course? The one that could let me graduate early?" Ace asked bouncing in place with excitement.

"Yeah." Marco remembered hearing the Raven mention something about it, and some test he had to take in order to get out early, and all the cramming the poor man did for them.

"Those papers in that folder are my test results, I want you to look at them yourself." Ace was nervously fidgeting with something in his pocket. Carefully eyeing his boyfriend Marco turned the envelope over, undid the clip, and took out the papers inspecting them.

"You passed! We have to celebrate!" He was overjoyed for the freckled youth. Ace passed with flying colors. Looking to express more congratulations, Marco met a wall, and looking down he saw Ace on one knee.

"Marry me?"

XD I shall leave it here just because I can. (there might be sequel depends on the reviews...if any)
