Last Final done. What a relief. OR extra stress, alternatively. I'm officially an OWL student. AGH!
Why am I already stressing about this? I've got a whole year.
I've only got a year! Aaaaggghh!
Okay, breathe. It's going to be fine. A year is a long time. A lot can happen in a year, which means a lot of studying can also happen in a year. It's all good.
Anyway, all my exams went well. I'm a bit nervous about my Arithmancy score and my overall Astronomy grade because they were the two hardest exams. There were a couple questions in History of Magic that I wasn't quite sure of, but I read over them and I felt like they were right. I guess I'll find out next week.
Anyway, I'm going down to dinner with Lily and the Marauders in a bit, and I've gotta do a couple things before then, so...

Great Hall
Ugh. I can't believe Lily stole my diary and wrote in it while I was gone! And I wasn't intending to go on a walk with Peter. It just happened. I was coming down from my room after cleaning up some of my stuff (so it would be easier to pack this week) and I was planning to go down to the Great Hall because I thought Lily and the other guys were already down at dinner. But when I came back down to the Common Room, Peter was the only one there, and he asked me if I would walk up to the Owlery with him because he had to send a letter; that was all. And I hadn't seen Faust in a couple days, so I wanted to take him a treat. So we just walked up there together, and when we got back to the Great Hall for dinner, Lily had my diary and she and the other Marauders (four people I never thought would agree on anything) were

Oh. My. God. James just
! James just said, completely out of the blue, "Lily, will you go out with me?" Of course, everyone just stared at him speechlessly for a minute. Sev, who's sitting on Lily's other side (and who was already glaring at the Marauders before), looks pretty horrified.
Or he did till Lily spoke up.
She practically just yelled, "Bloody hell! Are you kidding me? NO!"
Now James just looks kind of depressed. I don't think I've ever seen him look so discouraged in all my life!
I can't believe that just happened. Seriously. My brain is broken.
Lily just ran off to the library. Well, I think. I don't know where else she'd go. Sev followed her.
That was so weird!
Anyway, I was gonna say that they were teasing Peter and me for sneaking off together, because apparently they were looking for us everywhere. But I doubt anyone is going to remember that in light of what just happened.
I spoke to soon. Sirius just piped up with, "First Peter and Rose, then James and Lily, and now Snivellus and Lily! There is just too much love in the air tonight for me."
Now he's got up and left too. I agree. This is all too intense for me. I'm gonna go pack some more.

I never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but, well...
Poor James! He's just sitting in the corner, looking so dejected and so sad! Honestly, there was a time when I thought nothing could bring him down off his high horse, but I guess I didn't realise how much he really likes Lily. He looks absolutely crushed! Lily's in the dorm, "packing" so she can avoid him.
All of this is just way too weird for me.
