The long LONG awaited Chapter 8 is finally out, I know it's short, I know it probably doesn't make sense, BUT it's out, enjoy

Chapter 8

Yuga looked into the crystal ball disgusted. Link and Hilda were holding hands underneath a tree an apparent blush on both of them. The pair had freed most of the sages and yet Hilda had not revealed the truth to the young hero, she was wasting her time. He didn't care how much she "loved" him, he couldn't stand idly by and watch her foil his plans, he needed this "hero" out of the way, and he would get him out of the way. One way, or another.

Hilda nestled close to Link she couldn't believe that he actually liked her back! She remembers the moment as if it were yesterday –which coincidentally, it was-

*FLASH BACK*

Hilda shivered. The forest place was creepy, actually REALLY creepy.

"This place is creepy" Link stated as if reading her mind,

Hilda nods. Then takes Link's arm. He smiled slightly at her. "Don't worry, I got you."

Hilda smiled slightly. "I know you do"

Then suddenly, something grabbed Hilda's foot, she shrieked it started to pull on her and she feel to the floor, he looked to see what was dragging her, it was a hand master and it was trying to pull her towards an abyss. She tried to get a hand hold on anything on the ground. It wasn't working. Then she felt the grip on her ankle go slack. She looked and the hand master was dead, Link standing over it. He ran to her and crouched next to her.

"Are you ok?" he asked.

Hilda nodded, then shook her head. "No," she started to cry.

Link wrapped his arm around her as she kept on crying.

She managed to get something out between sobs "I….I….was…so scared. That I…."

Link kissed the top of her head "I know"

"I…I'm supposed to be a princess. I'm supposed to be strong, independent, strict when needed," she shook her head, "I'm none of that"

Link stared at her. "What are you talking about? You are a princess!"

Hilda looked up in his eyes "You sure about that?"

He nodded. "Positive"

Hilda bit her lip. "Link, I know we just met not that long ago and that I don't know you that well but I want you to know th-"

She was cut off by Link's lips meeting hers. It was a small peck but a kiss nonetheless. He lowered his voice to a whisper. "I love you too," he said.

It was the best moment of her life, she looked at Link that was sleeping now in the shade of the tree, then she had to do a double take, Link had a giant red spot on his tunic. Hilda set her hand on it to realize it was blood!

She almost fainted on the spot, then Link opened his eyes they were pure white then a familiar voice spoke from Link's mouth. "Unless you really want to see him like this, focus on the objective at hand." It was Yuga's voice.

"Leave me Alone!" Hilda shouted.

Yuga-Link laughed. "Foolish girl, since when is a simple boy more important than your own kingdom?" Hilda didn't answer. "Comply Hilda, or I will kill him!"

Hilda scowled "This is mutiny"

Yuga laughed. "Not that your that much or a ruler of Lorule anymore, Think about it Hilda, what's more important? A small boy that's not worth the ground I walk on, or a kingdom that you cared for and vise versa for your whole life?"

"Leave….me…alone!" she practically

screamed.

Hilda jolted awake, she was panting. She was on the ground now, Link a few feet away tending a fire.

Link looked at her, "You alright?"

She nodded.

Link gave a small nod. "Good, I need you well for tomorrow, we're going to the last temple tomorrow"

"About that" Hilda sat down next to Link. "I think I should relax for a bit somewhere safe"

Link frowned a bit, "Don't I make you feel safe?"

Hilda smiled sadly. "No I do," she laced her fingers with his. "I just need some alone time." These words hurt like a dagger to both of them.

Link frowned. "What is this, a break up?"

"No, no heavens no. I just think you should face the last temple…alone, just come to my palace afterward."

Link frowned. "But Hilda!"

Hilda smiled sadly and pecked Link on the lips. "I love you." Then she walked away tears running down her cheeks.

She walked across the bridge to her Castle as she approached the barrier lowered. She knew she was being expected. She walked through her Castle and to the throne room. She saw Yuga sitting in the throne. "Did I comply well enough for you?" she snapped.

Yuga grinned. "There's that feisty attitude I'm used too"

Hilda sneered. "Now what?"

"We wait,"

"For your boyfriend to show up with his Triforce of courage"

Hilda nodded she didn't like it, she had to figure out a way to keep link from coming here, but she couldn't he'd be coming here regardless! She had doomed him from the beginning,

"Hm" Yuga mused "You didn't object to me calling him your boyfriend"

"Why bother? You only do it to bug me anyway."

Yuga just laughed.

A/N Weird right? sorry that this chapter is weird, and even though this chapter is good news that I'm back I'm also bearing bad news, there's most likely going to only be one to two chapters left, I just can't find inspiration for this story anymore, but I am brain storming on another fan fic, either a crossover of a sort or one of the following A: Big Hero 6 (since I just LOVE that movie) B: Michael Vey (to hype up for number 5) C: Kingdom Keepers (just cause). Which one would YOU personally like to see? Please review your answer. I'm sorry if this fic is starting to be a disappointment to some of you. But I am SO glad that some of you enjoyed my work, it actually means a lot!
