This one shot is dedicated to the great man and actor, Robin Williams. He who made us all laugh no matter what movie he played in even though he was battling depression. He was a man with true talent, one who wasn't afraid to show he had a giving heart.
To me Robin Williams was Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up. Even though he was an adult he still retained some childness and would have been the one to give Sandy, from Rise of the Guardians, a voice if he had one.
"I have called this gathering here today to pay tribute to the only adult who was the embodiment of Peter Pan, the man who gave voice to one of our own, the Genie. Let us raise our glasses to the man who we shall never forget, Robin Williams." The speaker fell quiet as those gathered around her raised their glasses in honor of his memory.
The Genie stepped forward, "I would like to say a few words, Snow White."
She smiled at him, "Of course, go ahead Genie."
"Thank you Snow, yeah someone else may have drawn me into existence but without Robin I wouldn't have a voice and I'm grateful to him for giving me one. I've watched him since I was given life and must saw he was a great man and wonderful actor and am honored that he was the one chosen to give me my voice."
"He gave you more then your voice, he also gave you his personalty and humor, he will live on in you, Genie."
"Well said Aladdin."
Aladdin smiled, " Thank you Charming."
After that each character there stood up and told their favorite memory of the actor who had touched many lives just by being himself. There was many tears shed and laughter all around with each memory that was shared.
As the gathering broke apart a song started to play and each of them felt that it matched the moment perfectly and more tears were shed for a great man and actor. "May you be making the angels laugh on the other side Robin." Genie whispered as he left, a hand rested on his grave stone.
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did
May this great man always be remembered, Rest in Peace Robin Williams, Nanu Nanu
