~Shut the hell up, Kurama...~
The past few days Naruto spent either packing what he thought would be needed to relaxing with his friends, which was weird to him as he was so much larger than them now. We now find him taking a nap in his home, exhausted after being chased by the entirety of the Inuzuka clan's kennel for smelling like a fox.
What that means is that he would never know, but being chased by over two hundred dogs, which have some form of ninja training for over five hours would tire out even the Yondaime in his opinion. As he continued his nap, a person dressed in all black climbed through the window and silently over to where Naruto was sleeping on his couch and pulled out a kunai and prepared to end him.
If it wasn't for the "Ahem" and then his world exploding into pain as Naruto knocked out the assailant from behind without alerting his attacker. Naruto sighs as he ties up the Root agent and the clone that he had created after sensing an approaching chakra signature from 30 meters from his position; the clone got up and grabbed the agent and tossed him out the window he came from after altering the agent's memory with Kurama's chakra.
"Man, that's the fifth time this week! I'll be glad when I get outta here and meet new people that aren't out to kill me. Thank god Kurama taught me how to use his chakra to mess with peoples heads." Naruto says as he walks back into his room and fell on his bed with a resounding smash, successfully waking up Kurama in the process of his rant.
Whuhzit? Who? Naruto? What the hell was that? Kurama says as Naruto gets up off the bed and examines the damage.
"Hmm, oh well. I needed a newer one anyway." Naruto grumbled.
Kurama just snorts as he lays back down. This is you're last night here. Do anything less than productive that involve you being chased by the commoners? Kurama asks as Naruto goes back to the living room to lay down.
"Yep, a few of them are rigged to go off soon as we leave. By the way, how are we leaving anyway, since I don't think that we will be leaving through the front gate like normal people?"
Kurama just grunts and stands up. I was hoping you would ask. Naruto, can you make another clone? But this time, let me channel just a tad bit of my youki into it. Naruto, sounding intrigued made the hand sign for a shadow clone and felt Kurama flow a bit of his youki into it.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! Naruto cried, but instead of the traditional cloud of smoke that occurs with the summoning of the clone he felt a sharp tug on his mind and a pain that racked his body for a few moments and a flash of light.
As the light dissipated and the stars in his eyes disappeared, he noticed that he was not the only one in the room anymore. Sitting down on the couch next to him was a larger than average red fox kit; but the thing that tipped Naruto off about the fox was the nine tails slowly flowing behind the fox. Naruto stared at the fox for a few moment and then picked it up.
"Huh, you're not as big as you are in my mindscape. You're kinda cute, in a I-will-kill-you're-family-and-friends-with-you-being-last kind of cute." Naruto says as the fox in his hands bit his arm, forcing him to drop it.
How is it that you're blood tastes even remotely like miso ramen? Kurama asks as he gags the taste out of his mouth and Naruto shrugs.
"It's the life source of the gods. What did you expect my blood to taste like, candy?" Naruto asks as Kurama sits down on one of the few chairs that Naruto owns and sighs.
I don't even want to try to think of a reason why that is even remotely possible. But, to answer your question: There is a few ways we could get to where we are going. One we could rip a hole in the air using my youki, literally ripping apart time and space. OR, we can do it the boring way and write a set of archaic runes on the floor and channel chakra through it, making you "flash" from one place to another. There are a few dark sides to it though. The downfall for these is-
"Whoa whoa! Wait a minute! Back it up a few paces!" Naruto screams indignantly. "You mean to tell me that you know how to perform the Hiraishin and you never even told me? Naruto asks Kurama, who promptly sweat-dropped at the idiocy that Naruto has shown.
"Why in the hell is it that you expect me to just give you power that could literally rip you apart? Want me to just up and say, "Hey here is how you perform the Hiraishin! Learn it and conquer the World with your Clone Army!" I think not. Stop asking stupid questions and let me finish." Kurama says as Naruto mumbles under his breath.
"It's still an awesome technique to have in my arsenal. Maybe I could ask Ero-Sennin on how to perform it."
"Now that we are not being idiots-,"
"Asshole." Naruto mumbles under his breath.
"There are drawbacks to both of these processes. For the Demon Portal, you have to channel youki through the entire time in the portal, which is almost impossible, but there is an easy fix for that. For the Demon Flash, you would have to write the runes EXACTLY how I tell you to, Which would take a few days and then you would still need more youki than what we currently have in my weakened state."
Naruto sits there staring at Kurama for a long time. Kurama stares at Naruto and Naruto stares back. Naruto suddenly picks up Kurama and begins to pet his tails scaring the hell out of him.
"Why the hell are you so damn soft? It should be illegal how soft your fur is." Kurama squirms and tries to bite Naruto in anger.
"Damn it, Naruto! This is some serious shit! This is the day we leave so you need to stop being an idiot!" Naruto freezes as he drops Kurama on the couch. Naruto calmly stands up and walks to the front where his window is and looks out at the sun that has began to rise.
"I like watching the sun rise. It makes me smile whenever I see it come over the horizon, at the same time, every day. It keeps me going, just the thought that when I wake up, I'll be able to see this beautiful sight. Now though, it reminds me that this is the final time I'll be able to see such a sight." Naruto says as Kurama walks over there and looks at the sun with him with a small smile on their faces, dreaming of the adventures that they will have.
Suddenly, a flash goes off and Kurama is now seen rolling around on the floor screaming in pain as a clone gives the original a camera. "Good angle, perfect lighting and killer fox behind you." Naruto says as Kurama kills the clone by tail smashing it's neck.
Naruto winces as he receives the violent response from the clones death. "Damn, where did that come from?" Naruto asks as Kurama slowly inches toward Naruto with his teeth bared and lunges, only to miss when Naruto moves out of the way. Naruto, hearing a window smash, turns towards the window only to see it broken and Kurama nowhere around. "Kurama!" Naruto shrieks as he runs towards the window only to get a claw to the eye as Kurama is seen clawing his way over the window.
Asshole! Stay still so I can kill you! Kurama snarls as he lunges towards Naruto and began to claw away Naruto's face, as Naruto screams shrilly. REVENGE! Kurama screams with death in his eyes as he is suddenly yanked off of Naruto and tossed at the couch. Naruto, with a face that resembles ground hamburger, looks up to his savior with tears in his eyes.
"Well, this is unexpected." Naruto hears Kakashi as he looks at Naruto and sees the condition of his face. "... I think you need this more than me." Kakashi says as he began to pull off his mask and hand it to Naruto who was surprised to see...
Another mask under it.
Naruto sighs as he takes the mask and stands up. "Not that I'm complaining, but why are you here, Kakashi-sensei? It's not even eight yet." Naruto asks as he sits down on the FAR side of the couch away from Kurama, who is finally noticed by Kakashi. "Stop calling me Kakashi-sensei, I didn't teach you enough to have that type of respect." Kakashi then walks toward Kurama, who narrowed his eyes at him. "So, this is the great Kyuubi? I thought that he would be a helluva lot more sinister looking, not this furball." Kakashi says as he picks up Kurama and is shocked at how soft his fur is.
Naruto says as he watches Kurama continuously try to attack Kakashi. "I left you some clothing and some scrolls in your room. They should fit you, seeing your a spitting image of Minato-sensei. Also do not open the scrolls until you get to where you need to go, they are a one time thing until you learn how to make your own sealing scrolls." Kakashi says as Kurama pushed Kakashi out of the window.
Naruto, thinking that Kakashi died, rushed to the window only to see Kakashi clinging to the outside wall using chakra. "Well, I guess this is the last time we see each other, huh, Naruto?" Kakashi says as Naruto smiles at him and nods. "Just make sure you keep in touch with us, wherever you go, ok?" Naruto grins. "You know it, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto says as Kakashi shunshins away. Now that the annoying monkey is gone, we have to prepare for our departure in a few hours. Kurama says as he dispelled himself, having ran out of chakra.
Naruto sighs as he goes into the room, only to see a few bags and some scrolls on the destroyed bed. "Huh, the pervert wasn't lying. Well, let's get started!" he says as he grabs the bags and started towards the bathroom. Wait Naruto! Kurama says right before 99ńæ\aruto get's to the door. "Yeah?" Naruto says as he stops.
Make another clone for me, since we need to find a place to write the seals and prepare them for departure. Kurama says as Naruto shrugs. "Okay, Kurama. PLEASE, don't do anything stupid and make sure you stay hidden, okay? I don't want them to think that I let you loose to wreak havoc." Kurama rolls his eyes and agrees not to do anything to drastic.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! Naruto says as he feels the tug on his mind but no pain. A flash occurs and on the floor is a slightly larger Kurama. Alright, I am on my way to talk to the one you call 'Old Lady', to procure a place to get started. Naruto nods and Kurama turns and goes to leap out of the broken window in the living room.
Kurama POV.
Damnit! I should have asked him where I can find her first. Why is it so hard to find her? Kurama says as he continues to hunt down the scent. "Why not go to the Hokage Tower?" He hears Naruto's reply. Don't know where that is. He says as he exits an alley he walked through. "Follow the strongest smell of sake and pig." Naruto tells him. Suddenly, he gets a whiff of a ton of sake and began to follow it to wherever it was originating from. Rounding a corner, he sees the Hokage's tower in the distance. Figures she would be there drinking. Kurama says as he slowly started towards the building.
As he stood in front of the building, he realized that he cannot open the doors. Just as he was about to climb the front wall, the door swung open, hitting Kurama on the nose. As Kurama rolls around in pain on the floor the door swings open fully revealing Shizune there with TonTon in her hands, as usual. "Oh, my! Are you okay, you poor fox?" Shizune says as she puts down TonTon and picked up Kurama, surprised at how soft his fur is.
Kurama growls at Shizune, making her drop him. Wretched woman! I have a mind to eat the pig as compensation for smashing my nose in on the door. Now, where is the one Naruto calls "Baa-Chan? Make haste, for we are leaving today. Stunning Shizune, she hurriedly snags up TonTon and opens the door motioning for the fox to follow her, not sure what to do at a moment like this.
As Shizune led Kurama to where Tsunade should be, she decided to figure out who the creepy fox is. "So, are you the one named Kurama?" Shizune asks as she opens another door. Kurama nods the affirmative and began to explain. I am in need to talk to the current leader of the village into procuring a place to leave from. Kurama says as they walk into the room, only to see Tsunade sleeping on top of the paper work she was supposed to be finishing up.
Shizune hurriedly walked over to the desk and nudged her, abruptly waking her up. "Shizune? What's up with the fox?" She says as she yawns and stretches. "Lady Tsunade, this is Kurama. He is here to ask for a place of departure for Naruto and him since they are leaving today." Shizune says as Tsunade remembers this is the day that all her planning comes to fruition.
"Well then Kurama. I have already made preparations for your departure, so can you go and get Naruto, since there are still some things we need to hash out. Kurama, getting ready to reply is cut of from hearing Naruto speak through their link. "Yo, Kurama! Tell her I'll be there in a few minutes. In fact I see the building now." Kurama nods and went and opened a window, and waited right there. A few seconds later, Tsunade sees Naruto leap through the window that Kurama just opened.
"Yo, Baa-Chan! Shizune chan! I heard that you need to see me?" Naruto says as they openly gawk at his transformation. Gone was the jumpsuit, only to be replaced by a burnt orange shirt, covered by a cloak that was black with orange and red flames covering the bottom of it. But the most surprising thing was that the cloak had a hood that was currently pulled over his head with a picture of Kurama on the back of it in all of his glory. For pants he is wearing plain hakama pants and black combat boots.
As they looked at Naruto in shock, Naruto went and sat down in a chair right across from him with a smug look on his face. "I know I clean up nice, but I think we came here for a specific reason? Like an unused training ground so me and Kurama can begin our departure, for starters." After hearing that, everyone snapped out of their daze and commented on his clothing.
"Naruto, where did you get those clothes from? I don't remember you having anything like that." Tsunade asked as Naruto smiles and began to tell them how his day began. After finishing his story, they were surprised at the thoughtfulness that Kakashi showed when giving Naruto the clothes. "Well, now that we have that out of our system, do you have everything you need to leave?" Tsunade asks as Naruto nods and shows a few storage seals etched into the inside of the cloak, along with seals to keep it from getting dirty and self repairing seals.
Naruto explained what they were for and said that Kakashi left a note that said, "With the way you tend to dive into trouble headfirst, you might need the extra seals." They all shared a laugh at how Kakashi had Naruto pegged. As they all left via window, no one seemed to notice the person looking at Naruto with a smile on his face.
"That kid is going to go places." The person thinks as he disappears.
Naruto and Company at a training ground only for Naruto to have tears spring up into his eyes. Right in front of him was Training Ground Seven, where he became a shinobi. What really got to him, though was the fact that all of his friends were there, including Koyuki from Yukigakure, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro from Sunagakure, as well as some others. Kurama, seeing that Naruto wanted to have a moment with all of his friends, decided to get the seals ready for them to leave.
Naruto watched as Kurama stole ink from Jiraiya, who appeared out of nowhere and began to draw some seals on the ground between some trees. Jiraiya, being curious as to have never seen them before watched as Kurama drew the seals. "Holy crap! I've never seen even a fifth of what you're drawing! Can you tell me what they do and how do they apply to where you two are going?" Jiraiya asks as he pulled out a notebook and began taking notes that weren't perverted. Kurama only shook his head as he continued to draw the seals.
No. He simply stated as Jiraiya visibly slumped. "Aww, but why?" Jiraiya asked with tears in his eye as Kurama simply laughed at him and paused in his seal drawing. Well, even if I were to teach them to you, you would still need youki, which is the demonic equivalent of chakra. Without it, the seals here, here and here, He pointed out to Jiraiya, who immediately started copying them down. Would instantly swipe all of your chakra. And I mean ALL of it. Kurama said as he snatched his notebook and tore it to pieces, making Jiraiya cry.
Naruto, seeing them talking about the seals, focused back on the people who came to see him. "Hey there, you guys! What are you all doing here?" Naruto asked as they smiled. Gaara walked over to him and replied. "We can't just let you go somewhere without giving you some gifts, right? Naruto smiled as they all came over. "Well, what did ya get me?" Naruto asked as he started bouncing around. "Stay still, you idiot!" Tsunade says as she pacified him with a punch to the head.
"Well, I still want to know what I got." Naruto says as he gets off the floor with a fist sized dent in his skull. Tsunade smiles as she handed him a series of scrolls. "I decided to give you a scroll with medical supplies in it, since you have a knack for getting injured. The second one was paid for by Shizune, so I don't know what's in it." Shizune just smiles at him.
After Tsunade gave what she wanted to Naruto everyone else gave him their gifts as well. From Sakura and Ino, he was given haircare products and an old picture of Team Seven, telling him to take care of his hair since it looks so good now. From Shikamaru, he was given a shogi board, who then immediately fell asleep under a tree. Choji gave him a cookbook that he wrote himself, which surprised a few people there. Asuma, whom is Team Ten's teacher gave him a piece of paper and asked him to channel chakra into it. When he did the paper crumpled and turned soggy, showing him that he has lightning and water oriented chakra natures. He then gave Naruto two scrolls that contained information on how to mold his respective elements.
From Gai and Lee, he was given weights like Lee's but with seals on them. Lee told him they were chakra weights, something that he could never use for the fact that he can't mold enough chakra for any use. From Neji, he was given chakra control exercise to learn how to control it even more, since Neji said that; 'Your chakra has surpassed everyones in the village. This should be of use to you.' Tenten gave him some scrolls with a few hundred weapons in them apiece as well as a stack of explosive notes which were immediately given to Tsunade behind her back.
Anko wanted to slice him up to drink his blood again, but decided on giving him a stick of previously eaten from dango and told him to savor it. An Anbu with a cat mask on gave him a Captain Issue Chakra Tanto with self repairing and cleaning seals customized to look like a fox's head. Just as he as he was being handed more presents, Kurama decided to intervene, finished with drawing the seals. Naruto, as much as I like to see you smiling and receiving presents from everyone, I am finished with the seals so if you would kindly finish so we can leave, I would appreciate it.
Tsunade grins. "Alright everyone! You heard the fox! Time for these two to leave. Just toss the presents you have for him in this scroll." Tsunade says as she pulls a scroll from her freak bust, making Jiraiya grin lecherously at the act. As they began to do that, Jiraiya, deciding to give him one last gift, pulls Naruto to the side. "Now Naruto, I know that I sucked at teaching you anything but I think this would come in handy." Jiraiya says as he pulls the giant scroll off of his back, surprising everyone there, especially Tsunade. "Not only is this the Summoning Contract for the Toads, it's also a Universal Sealing Scroll that can hold anything up to two thousand pounds. Treat this with respect and remember; even if I was an ass to you when we first met I will always love you as much as I did in those few moments we spent together."
As Naruto takes the scroll from Jiraiya, he couldn't help but start to tear up and give the smaller man a hug. "I love you too, Jiraiya." Naruto says as he releases him from the hug. As he straps the scroll onto his back, he makes a Shadow Clone and gave it the camera that he has. "FINAL PICTURE, WHO WANTS TO BE IN IT?" The clone yells as everyone tries to fit into the picture. All the Genin sat on the floor, with Team Ten and Team Gai on his left, and Sakura and Team Eight on his right. The Adults stood behind their respective teams with Tsunade and Jiraiya standing with Kakashi behind Naruto. Kurama decided to sit in front of Naruto, since Naruto towers over him.
As Naruto's Clone took the picture and returned it to him, Naruto and Kurama, promising to send them an update as soon as they get to where they need to be, Kurama dispelled himself and began gathering the youki to power the seals. "Well everyone, I guess this is the last time I see you in a while. I promise to keep you updated on anything that happens to me in the new world."
Naruto clasps his hands together in the snake seal and began to channel his chakra, blasting a few people off their feet from the sheer power of it. As he channels his chakra, Kurama began to release his youki into his coils, making the original blue haze that surrounded Naruto turn purple, then black with a red outline as he channeled it to the seals beneath his feet. As the seals glow silver, Naruto suddenly hunched over screaming in pain. Everyone screams as they see that happen. Gaara tried to remove Naruto from the seal but suddenly a large rip in the air opened up above Naruto.
The hole, which was pitch black on the inside, covered Naruto in a beam of light. As Gaara sends his sand after Naruto, the strange light keeps him from rescuing said blond. The clone of Naruto, whom everyone forgot was even there, stops Gaara. "Kurama warned me that this would happen since I don't have my own youki to power the seals. It should be over in a few-POOF." The clone dispelled as Naruto sat up in morbid pain to see everyone looking at him. Naruto only smiles and waves as he is slowly lifted up into the hole in and disappears.
With Naruto.
"Huh, I thought this portal thing would still-gurk!" Naruto began as a slow pain began to seep through him. "Kurama what the hell is going on?" Naruto asks his partner only to hear Kurama screaming in pain in him. The pain intensified, seeping through Naruto at a slow pace, making him grunt in pain again as the pain suddenly intensified to unholy proportions, making Naruto mimic Kurama's screams of pain as a red haze drifts out of his mouth, as a crystal. Within the crystal was a machine Naruto has never seen before which slams itself into the necklace Tsunade gave Naruto, making the gem even larger.
"AAAAUUUGH!" Scream the duo as the haze covered Naruto and in a flash, they were gone.
Somewhere near Infinite City.
There is an incredible battle going on in the skies near IS Academy. The Silver Gospel, one of the few IS that was codeveloped between the USA and Israel with an advanced AI, has gone rogue. The pilot, Natasha Fairs, is non responsive. A team consisting of the German candidate, Laura Bodewig, the United Kingdom's candidate, Cecilia Alcott, France's candidate, Charlotte Dunois, China's candidate, Lingyin Huang, as well as the sister of the creator of the IS, Houki Shinonono, set out to disable it after it knocked out one of their comrades, Ichika Orimura after he protects her from a surprise attack from the Gospel.
After securing Ichika somewhere safe, the five IS pilots disregard orders from their superior and go after the Gospel again. They are swiftly defeated but Ichika saves Houki in his IS, which was supposed to be beyond repair, in it's Second Shift. AS Ichika battles the Gospel, the Gospel stops and flies above Ichika and Co. As the Gospel began to charge up it's widespread attack it suddenly stops and looks above it as a flash of light and a large bang is heard.
As everyone looks to see where the Gospel went, Laura found it but found something else as well.
All right, this was LONG overdue! But it seems that having a party with alchohol and other mind numbing things gets you a computer with nothing on it as well as some things that will not be mentioned in case anyone I know is reading this. And for that, I apologise to those who waited patiently for this. It's smaller than what it was supposed to be, but hey! It's here! I want to thank you guys once again for waiting. I know it seems rushed but I had to hurry this one out so please ignore anything that confuses you and don't be afraid to ask question. I will answer as many of them as I can in the next chapter or in a PM.
