[Izaya's POV]
"Iza-nii, we want another serving! And some rice pudding too~" Mairu announced from her seat across from him, a wide smile on her face.
"Wha- You two eat like you've never seen food before! I really don't think you need another order." Izaya replied, paling a little as he glanced at the growing pile of dishes on one end of their table. He had only eaten two orders of otooro, far from enough in his opinion, but he was already losing his appetite from how quickly and how much both of his sisters could eat.
By his count, the two combined had already eaten 5 plates of Kappa Maki, another 3 plates of Sake Nagiri and, their most recent victim, a plate of Anago. And now what did they want? Another freakin' eel AND dessert! He paled again at the thought. He wasn't even entirely sure if they had desserts here. He'd never asked for any before, not having much of a sweet tooth, and knowing Simon, the man would probably have some weird concoction of actual sushi and.. chocolate, maybe? Caramel? If I don't throw up from whatever Simon brings them, I'm gonna puke from watching them eat it... he decided, turning his eyes back to his sisters instead of the now-empty plates.
Mairu and Kururi were both watching him with small pouts on their faces, Mairu once again with her arms crossed. For once, Kururi was the one to pipe up. "Rice pudding..." was all she said, but Izaya understood that she must really want it if she was the one asking. She barely asked for anything, after all, but still... How could he pump more food into his sisters knowing they were probably gonna get sick from it later? He was their big brother, so he should take responsibility and make sure they don't eat anymore... Then again, he was their big brother and this was the very first thing they'd asked from him in three years, after them not seeing each other for ages. If he didn't get it for them, then what kind of brother would he be?
The informant held in a series of groans as he tried to decide what to do in his head, glancing over blankly when Simon came over to ask if they wanted anything else. Even the sushi worker seemed a little concerned at the amount they could eat. Dammit... Knowing them, they'll probably burn off all of these calories from running around by the end of today anyway, so maybe they'll work off being bloated too? It might even bypass them entirely if I take them to do something pretty fun. It probably will, anyway...
Izaya bit his lip once before giving in finally, ordering what they wanted and sliding down in his seat as the two girls smiled to themselves, Mairu pumping her fists in the air as well as they waited for the new plate.
"If you two throw up from eating too much, I'm not holding myself responsible. Understood?"
"Yeah, we understand~" "Yup.."
The informant just rolled his eyes and waited for them to finish their last - most definitely last! - plate of food before paying and standing to leave, guiding his sisters out the door again. "Alright, now that you've eaten enough to last you a week, where do you want to go? I'm open to anything." Izaya announced once they were outside, smiling again now that he wasn't surrounded by more food. Mairu spun around to look at him, hands now on her hips.
"We're going to see the sights of the city and you're going to be our tour guide~ You know this place back to front, right?" Mairu prompted, looking up at him expectantly before he nodded with a small laugh.
"Definitely, but that doesn't give me a lot to go on. Ikebukuro has a lot of stuff it's popular for."
"Then you'll just have to take us everywhere you know! As long as it's fun, of course."
"Everywhere..."
Izaya rolled his eyes at the twins again before scratching his head, trying to think of where to head first. It was true that he knew this place well, but that just made it harder to choose. Picking from three or so places could be easy, but an entire city? Not to mention, he had no idea just how much his sisters would like anything he picked, they obviously would have changed a little in the span of three years... I guess the safe bet would be to take them somewhere everyone wants to go.
"Alright then, follow me." the informant prompted, smile on his face as he turned towards the closest subway station. The two trotted along behind him, both of them being much shorter and needing to speed up in order to keep up with his walk.
"So where are we going first, gaido?" the bespectacled twin once again spoke up.
"We're going to Sunshine City, I'm sure you'll love it there." he replied, taking the both of them by a hand as he lead them down into the subway station and closer towards their destination.
Chapter 110!
Alright, two apologies.
FIRST! This is very late, and I'm sorry about that. I was very close to finishing it yesterday but then my house alarm went off and I thought we were being robbed and yeah... Yesterday was not a good day. Me and sis hid in our closet while we waited for someone to show up (there weren't any charged phones in our room at the time, so we just had to wait for police to respond to the alarm.)
SECOND! This chapter is kinda short, I know, but it's the best I could out right now. As you can see, other things are going on and I'm constantly distracted, plus my normal schedule is screwed up because of summer vacation, as much as I love having the "extra" time. It's a lot less stress on me but apparently I need stress in order to keep putting out chapters constantly.. Oh well, that just means once school is back in, all of you get your doses of almost-daily Kasaya back ^^
Now that that's done, I have nothing really to say about the oncoming chapters except that it's gonna be Izaya hanging out with his sisters some more for at least two chapters I think. After that, we'll get back to Izaya and Kasuka, since they have a date niiight with Shinra and Celty~
Also, "gaido" is just Japanese for guide, as in tour guide. ^^
I hope you all liked this chapter! Favorite, follow and review to see more!
PS. TheBloodyMadRabbit: I just want to say that I'm so glad I could help you through any bad times you've had, even unknowingly. I had no idea that this story could really bring people happiness like that, and for you to tell me... Thank you very much. I really have no idea what to say except, I hope this story keeps bringing you and others joy. I have a lot of fun writing it, even if it's been slow lately, and hearing from you has made my day, probably my month or even my life.
Thank you so much for letting me know how you feel, and I don't blame you for being nervous about speaking up either. I'm exactly the same way ^^;
PSS. UnwrittenPage: It's good to hear that everything is fine, and yes, I'm in good health too. Sorry for being such a worry wort about you not reviewing as often, I know it might be a bit annoying, but I just want to know that everyone reading this (well, even people who aren't but ya know) is perfectly fine. I would hate for anyone to be in a bad spot, especially someone as nice as you ^^ I'm glad you like how the story is going too, I'm happy with it myself. And yeah, I can't wait for them to find out about their relationship either, haha. Izaya will surely be put through hell :P
PSSS. Cake53: Sorry I made you scream during math class X3 But I was wondering what kind of scenario you would want me to write. If you have a certain AU or anything like that that you'd want to see, lemme know, cause I don't want to just write something random when it's really for you ^^
