[Kasuka's POV]

"Welcome!" Shinra shouted, the door being thrown open before the actor could even knock thrice, making the man jump back a bit before they were led in.

"Hi Shinra, good to see you again." was all Kasuka said with a small chuckle, not knowing what to do with the doctor when he was already that hyper, not even giving them a chance to catch up yet. Celty, on the other hand, gave them a simple hello on her cellphone from her position in the kitchen door before retreating out of sight.

"Hey Shinra~ You look a little too happy, so what happened in the twenty minutes we haven't talked?" Izaya asked beside him, smiling lightly as Kasuka held his hand a little tighter, now more comfortable since they weren't out and about. The doctor in front of them beamed even more.

"Oh, it's wonderful! Celty agreed to try cooking for all of us, and she's helping me with dessert as well." the brunett cooed, looking about as happy as one might be after being proposed to. After watching Celty and Shinra's interactions for a while now, he was sure that the man was possible of putting them into the same category of affection anyways, loving absolutely anything Celty did for or with him.. Kasuka glanced at his own boyfriend with a shy grin, knowing he felt just the same way.

Izaya glanced at him, a bit less enthusiastic than Kasuka seemed to be probably from imagining what the food was going to taste like. The informant must have noticed that he wasn't thinking about the food though. "What are looking at me for?" he asked suddenly, glancing away so he probably wouldn't blush.

"Nothing, nothing." he hummed in reply, looking towards Shinra again to see the doctor grinning now, obviously getting a kick out of watching them interact. "And that sounds great Shinra, I can't wait to try it." Shinra just did a little dance and nodded to him, seeming as though he couldn't sit still.

"I can't either! Celty, how is the meal coming?" the brunett suddenly asked, skipping away into the kitchen to check on her, leaving Izaya and Kasuka out in the entryway alone. Izaya didn't seem to mind it though, obviously being used to whatever behavior Shinra exhibited, and just led his boyfriend out into the dining room so they could sit together. As they scooted their chairs towards each other, Kasuka slid his arm around Izaya's waist, keeping him even closer.

"I guess we won't have any chance of a calm dinner together, huh?" Kasuka finally asked once they were away from the kitchen, comfortably out of earshot.

Izaya chuckled beside him. "Not a chance in hell. But, I guess this will be an interesting change. It'll at least make us appreciate when he have dinner alone together more." he consented, smiling still as he leaned his head on the actor's shoulder, not being bothered by the fact they weren't in their own home. Kasuka enjoyed the moment while he could, knowing that Izaya was still a bit hesitant to be loving in front of their friends because of appearances.

"Yeah, you're right. I already love when we have dinner alone though, I get to admire you as much as I want with no interruptions."

"You are the biggest flirt I know, ya know that?"

"Yeah, I know. But I'm proud of it~"

"I'm sure you are, baka."

The two smiled at each other in comfortable silence for a few moments before they heard Shinra's voice begin to get louder, letting them know the doctor was coming back. Kasuka gave his boyfriend a quick kiss on the cheek before removing his arm from around him, allowing the informant to sit up again before Shinra saw them even closer than before.

"Dinner is readyyy! Come and get it, I've already tasted it and it is fantastic!"

[Don't play it up for them! They aren't as biased as you are, so don't make it seem like heaven.]

"But Celtyyy, it is- urg! Alright, no excessive praise…" Shinra coughed out, holding his side as he tried to regain the air he'd just lost, a smile still plastered to his face.

"Thanks for the meal, Celty." was all Kasuka said as a comment, shifting his seat slightly as they were given plates and silverware, then presented with the food. The pescatarians mouth watered at the smell of seared salmon and shrimp, wondering just what seasonings they had used to make it smell so spicy. There was a chuckle beside him and he turned his head to see his boyfriend holding a hand over his mouth to cover the smile on his face.

"I told you he would like it, Shinra."

"Well, you were certainly right."

Kasuka just shrugged as he observed the food some more before a thought occurred to him. "Oh yeah, about earlier. What did you ask Izaya?" the actor announced, curious as to what could have embarrassed the informant so much that he cuddled with him.

Shinra bit his lip as Izaya glared at the doctor, daring him to ask the question again. "It's purely for medical analysis, Izaya, I swear!" the brunett suddenly blurted out, not being able to stop laughing now that he got to see Izaya's reaction to it in person. Izaya, on the other hand, didn't make a sound, folding his arms where he sat as he refused to look at Celty as well.

The actor sighed as he realized where this was going already, ruling out the 'have you had sex' question since it had already been asked. "You asked which one of us tops, didn't you?"

"Kasu-kun!"

"Yup! I did~"

[Shinra, you're being juvenile again.]

"But I've always been juvenile! It's just how I am."

"And you just wish she would date you for it."

"Of course I do! She's my lovely, magnifice- urk…"

[You can both start eating now. I don't want the food to get cold.]

"Yeah, eat up! I bet you'll both love it to."

[What did I say about playing it up?]

"Don't worry Celty, he wasn't lying. It really does taste delicious."

[Thank you, Heiwajima-san.]

"Call me Kasuka, please. We've been over this.."

"Oh yes! Kasuka, you never answered the question."

"...Celty?"

[On it.]

Needless to say, the night continued quite joyfully for all of them, with all the embarrassment, stabbing and shouting that usually came along with them together in a room.

Chapter 114!

Yes!

I'm actually getting really happy about how quickly I'm getting back into the groove of things. I'm still a little worried that after so long of no writing that I'm putting these guys out of character… I know the story in general has made them out of character, but you know what I mean… Someone please let me know if they're all still acting alright. Please? It would put my mind at ease and I'd be able to fix it if it's wrong, so don't be afraid to tell me exactly what the problem is.

I really want to keep this story as high quality as possible, so be brutal if you want.
