Divination
So in all the excitement of yesterday, I forgot about the fact that Sebastien is really mad. And I'm actually really nervous about what he's gonna do. What if he decides it's just easier if we break up now? I mean, he's leaving Marseille after this summer. He might not be anywhere near here, or in a place where he'll be able to send letters. He might not even have the time!
So maybe it would just be easier and better if we broke up now.
Gotta stop thinking about it or I'm just going to cry again. Sigh. Boys suck. This is why I never wanted a boyfriend in the first place. My OWLs are in less than four months, and all I can think about is a guy. A guy who doesn't want to talk to me for a while. This is so not me.
Okay, from now on, I'm going to focus on studying.

Gryffindor Common Room
I missed dinner. My lesson with Dumbledore went really late. We started off doing more meditation and relaxation exercises. He says that, even though we have magic, being able to control our bodies without using it (i.e. meditation, relaxation etc.) will help us control our magic better, so it's a really useful skill to learn.
Anyway, after that we spent about ten minutes on Occlumency. He told me how to work on making mental barriers, and then he spent a minute or two using Legilimency against me. He said he was really impressed how easily I'd picked up Occlumency, which is good I guess. I mean, he totally broke down all my 'mental barriers' anyway, but it's good to know he thinks I'm doing alright at it!
Anyway, so then the rest of the time he just spent telling me all about these spells called Magical Binding Spells, and how dangerous they can be. So then he was telling me all the rules I need to remember to use my diary correctly, once I've completed the Binding Spell. it's all very complicated and he just spent a long time telling me about what it is and how it works and stuff. But he says we're going to spend time working on controlling it next week. I don't know how that will work, but we'll see I guess.
I'm starving. I'm going to rope Remus into taking me to the kitchen so I can get some dinner. Then I've gotta get a headstart on all my weekend homework, so I can have some time off the next couple days. I think I've earned it.
