Disclaimer: I don't own ;_;
I tilted my head in the mirror and furrowed my brow. "Stop thinking about it." I mumbled.
Apparently along with Tamaki's pick up lines, his need to butt into everyone's business was now rubbing off on me. I sighed. "It's none of my concern." I said in a stern tone. I pulled up my hair into a pony tail and ran my fingers through a couple of times.
Mitsukuni said that there was no need to dress up because it was going to be very casual. That wasn't going to be a problem because I was the King of under dressed events...well Queen, I guess. But I still wasn't sure if this was okay. Mitsukuni always made me feel a little self-conscious. I glanced down to examine myself. I suppose I looked okay. I was wearing my usual "going out" outfit: jean-jacket, hoodie and cargo pants.
This wasn't the date look, but Mitsukuni said not to dress up. I huffed out breath, blowing up my bangs. I need a second opinion. I walked out of my room as I called, "Aunt Mina?" There was no answer. I looked around and saw that the light in her room was on. I knocked on her door and waited for an answer. I stood there a moment longer before she opened her door. To my surprise she looked like she was about to go out too.
I blinked. "Aunty you look nice."
She gave me a dull expression. "Thank you. You look...like yourself."
I sweat-dropped. "That's what I came here to talk to you about...do I look okay?"
She looked me up and down. "You look handsome."
I sighed. "Great, thank you so much."
"You wanted my opinion, I gave it to you." She answered as she walked down the hall to the front of the apartment. I glanced down to her short black dress.
"Aunty...you didn't tell me you were going out tonight." I said trying to get the details out of her. She's been pretty secretive lately.
She gave me a lazy look and shrugged. "You didn't ask. I didn't tell. It's fine right?"
I rubbed my neck. "I guess so, I just thought that you would be open with me about it is all..." I looked down to the floor. She was quiet for a moment before walking over to me. I glanced down to her as she got on her tippy toes and laid a hand on my shoulder.
"I'm going out with a guy tonight." She said in a bland tone.
It took a second for me to catch on to what she was saying. "Wait, you have a date?" I asked.
"In a way." She said as she turned away from me.
"Oh come on Aunty give me the details, who is he?" I was getting a bit excited for her. She never talks about guys, ever. "What's he like, where did you meet him, do I know him?" I continued. She sat down on the couch and I did the same. "Come on tell me, Aunty." I pestered.
She laid her head back and I noticed she had curled her hair. "So this is what it feels like to have a niece."
"What do you...hey!" I said, when I realized what she was trying to say. "So...?"
She gave an internal sigh. "He's...shy quiet sometimes, but nice."
"Is that all?" I asked wanting more from her. He has to be interesting for Aunty to go out with him.
"Hm, he likes cats, a lot." She said.
I tilted my head. "Oh..." I was itching for her to tell me who this guy was. She must like him if she was having this much of a hard time telling me a name.
"He like doesn't like the light very much either." She continued as she glanced at the clock. "You should be going."
"Oh no you don't, Mitsukuni is picking me up. I still have some time. Come on, tell me more about him he sounds interesting." Now that I thought about it what she said made me think of Nekozawa, but she wouldn't know him. There are millions of people in Japan. What are the odds that it would be him. Besides Nekozawa is a lot younger then Aunty...then again she does look like pre-teen.
Why am I even considering this?!
I shook my head. Before I could speak the door-bell rang. For a second I thought I saw her smile at me. I narrowed my eyes. "This isn't over Aunty."
"We'll see." She answered.
When the door-bell rang again I stood up and walked to the door. I opened it to Mitsukuni standing there with a flowery smile. He tilted his head and waved his hand. "Hi K-chan~"
"Hey." I said glancing back at my aunt. "See ya."
Aunt Mina came to the door. "Bye Kris."
Mitsukuni looked past me to see my Aunt. "Wow Mina-chan you look nice. Are you going out or something?"
"Apparently she has a date." I said.
"Oh! Oh! With who?" Mitsukuni asked, giving her an adorable smile. Maybe he can break her into telling. Though I can only hope.
Aunty stared at him before saying. "A person, bye." She closed the door.
I blinked. Man, not even Mitsukuni can break her. She is truly the strongest person I know. At that moment I couldn't have been any prouder to call her my family.
She really needs to teach me how to do that.
"Aw, well that was mean." Mitsukuni said with a pout.
I waved my hand. "It's fine, I've been trying to get her to tell me who it was since you got here."
"Oh." Hes said with a nod of understanding.
When we got into the car I scooted in so the smaller blond could get in. "So where are we going?" I asked. "No where fancy right?" I could only hope. I didn't exactly dress for the part.
"Right." He said with a smile. "We're going...to..."he gave a dramatic pause.
I rolled my eyes. "Oh come on Mitsukuni, you killing me here."
He giggled. "Alright, alright, I thought that we would go into the city and see some commoner shops and stuff..." He said.
"What?" I stared at him.
"That's okay right? If you don't like it then we can go somewhere else."
I shook my head. "No, no, that's not it I just didn't know that was something that you would want to do." I explained. "It sounds like a great idea, after all I did say that I would 'anywhere' with you."
A smile formed onto the boys face as he pulled me into a kiss. "K-chan, I love you." Right before his lips touched my skin a thought came to mind. A devilish grin grazed my mouth. I poked him behind his ear and jumped away from me with a red face. "K-chan why~" He groaned.
I snorted with laughter. "I'm sorry, it was too good to pass up."
He scooted away from me with a pout as he crossed his arms. "Hm."
"If it helps,...I love you too." I always felt funny saying it. But it was a good feeling.
"No, it doesn't." He answered.
"Oh." I said. "Alright then." He was quiet for a moment.
"...it would help if you said it again." He mumbled.
I snorted, but my cheeks started to turn pink. "I love you..."He glanced at me and moved over a little.
"One more time."Closer.
"I...love...the color blue." Five feet away.
"K-chan!" He yelled.
I began to laugh. "Okay, okay,...but we can't do what you were trying to do in here...this is a car." I glanced at the black glass closing us off from the driver.
"Do what? What are you talking about, K-chan?" He said giving me an innocent look.
"You know what I mean." I mumbled as my cheeks turned pink.
"No, I don't think I do, can you show me?" He said moving once again
"Well it involves your ear." I stated bluntly.
"Never mind." He said quickly.
I smiled spread onto my lips. This was fun. I glanced over at him. "I was only teasing Mitsukuni. You know that."
He puffed out his cheeks. "I want you to take me seriously."
"Come on Mitsukuni." I sighed. "Believe me I do..."
"Okay..." He says. Though I wasn't very convinced. Maybe I took my teasing to far. I hesitated for a moment but took his hand.
"Come on your taking me out right? It will be fun, just me and you." I smiled.
He looked up to me and slowly returned the gesture. "Right."
*Break*
When we got into the city it was pretty crowded. I guess everyone was going out tonight. I glanced down to the smaller blond. "So what do you want to do first?" Already knowing the answer but it was better to ask.
He glanced around until he finally looked at the cake shop. "Oh! Oh! There!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. When we got inside. It was a nice little bakery, reminded me of home. I smiled down at the counter and touched the glass. I was always in the back with dad making the sweets and cakes. I felt a tug at my heart and shook my head.
Don't get homesick on me now.
"K-chan! Look at these they look great." He pressed his face to the glass as I walked over to see the treats.
"Looks like your after our famous cake balls." I glanced up to the older women as she gave us a grin.
He tilted his head. "Cake balls?"
"Yeah, hun, you've never had them before?" He shook his head. "Well we can't have that now can we? Here try one on the house." The women took one out for him and he eat it with a flowery atmosphere around him.
"Wow these are great! Try one K-chan!" He said with wide eyes.
"Oh no I'm fine. I ate these all the time at home."
"Oh come now, young man, just one won't hurt you." I sighed when she said 'young man'. Mitsukuni saw this but said nothing. Good, I don't want a whole uprising about my gender.
"Sure." I took one and it was strawberry. I gave her a smile. "These are really good. Thank you ma'am."
"Oh what polite young men you are. It's a nice evening isn't it, having fun are we?" I attempted to answer her but was abruptly interrupted by Mitsukuni jumping on my shoulder.
"Yeah lots of fun were on a date~" He answered.
"A date? So you two are..."
"Yeah going out, isn't she pretty?" He said with a wide smile.
The women glanced to me. "Oh dear, I had no idea you were-"
I put up my hand. "No way, it's fine. Happens all the time. Your not wrong to assume, really."
"Oh, I just feel so...tell you what. Take as many cake balls as you like."
"There no need for that." I insisted.
"No I mean it. Just take them."
Mitsukuni's face brightened. "Wow, thank you, your so nice!" He giggled and went around the counter to get the the desserts. I sighed and held my forehead. Thank Buddha there weren't any other customers in here to see. That would have been embarrassing. When Mitsukuni walked out he had a full box of the treats. "Thanks again~"
The women sweat-dropped and waved.
When we got outside. Mitsukuni skipped along side me eating the sweets. "Do you want any, K-chan?" I shook my head. "What's wrong?"
"Why did you do that in there?" I asked, crossing my arms. "I was just going to leave it alone."
He blinked. "I thought it would make you feel better if I did."
"I'm use to it and I think you made that lady feel bad." I said.
He looked at me with wide eyes. "I didn't mean to...I just wanted you to be happy K-chan."
"I know you did. I mean, I don't know. It just made me feel really embarrassed, I guess."
"K-chan I know you feel sad when people don't see you as a girl so I told her because of that. Please don't be mad at me." He said poking out his lip.
I covered my eyes. So cute. "Ugh, don't do that."
"Don't do what?"
"That!"
"What am I doing?"
"Your still doing it!" I groaned.
"How do you know your covering your eyes?"
"Ha! You do know what your doing!"
"...Maybe~"
"..."
"Okay I stopped."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, open your eyes please~" I slowly uncovered my face Mitsukuni stood there with a sly smile. He giggled at me. "K-chan your so cute."
"I could say the same for you." I mumbled.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing!" Realizing I said it out loud.
"I heard something~"
"Y-You know nothing!" I said with a blush.
"Awe, your stutter is back." He cooed.
"That's not a good t-thing!"
"It's cute."
"No it's not." I said turning away from him.
"K-chan wait I was kidding~" He said pulling my hand.
"Wow look at the height difference. " I heard someone say. We both turned to see a couple walking by.
"Fuyuji, be quiet." The girl shushed.
"What, I'm just saying you don't see that all the time, is all." He said as they walked away. When they were gone I rolled my eyes. There's always someone to talk. Though it did make me feel self-conscious, stuff like this happens to me all the time. Mitsukuni, too. So I don't think that there's really going to be a...
I glanced down to see the blond holding on to my hand. I blinked. "Hey are you okay?" I asked.
He took a moment, but he looked up to me and nodded with a smile. "Yeah I'm fine~" He said.
I raised my brow. "Are you sure? Don't let those guys bother you okay? People want to say dumb things and that's what you should classify them as 'dumb things'. Don't even pay attention to it." He stared at me for a moment. I cleared my throat. "I-I got that from Ana...sorry."
He smiled. "It's not that."
I tilted my head. "Then what is it?" "
"Well, um, come over here." He said grabbing my hand. When we were out of view of most people. "K-chan, my height doesn't bother right..." He held his hands behind his back and shuffled his feet.
I blinked. "Of course not, we've talked about this before haven't we?If anything my height should bother you. I'm way to tall."
"No, I don't care that your taller than me." He said.
"And I don't care that your shorter then me." I countered. Where was he going with this? "What are you trying to say?"
"I just think maybe, I started thinking that you don't see me as a man." He said.
I raised my brow not understanding what he was saying. "What are you talking about? Of course I do. Your a boy and-"
"No K-chan, a man." I blinked and we stared at each other for a moment. Suddenly my face turned red.
"Oh..."
"Yeah."
"Well actually..."
Mitsukuni face brightened. "Yes?"
"I kind of..."
"Yes, yes?" He leaned forward in excitement.
"You see I've been thinking that maybe we-"
"Kris?" I stopped mid-sentence and turned around only to see Kagura and Rin?
"Y-You guys, what are you doing here?" I asked, my face still red. Kagura raised his brow, but said nothing about it.
"You remember what I told you don't you Kris?" Rin answered.
"Oh, your on your date." I said glancing to Rin. "Wow you look beautiful." And she was. Her hair was curled and she was wearing contacts. Of course she was pretty either way.
"Hey, easy tiger shes out with me tonight." Kagura scolded with a grin.
I raised my hands and smiled. "Sorry, sorry." Of course that's not what I was thinking at all, but I went along with it.
Rin laughed. "Thank you, Kris." She peered over at Mitsukuni. "Hi Honey sempai."
"Hello Rin-chan." He said though his smile looked anything but real. Was he mad because we were interrupted?
"Oh yeah, Mori sempai's cousin right? I met you before."Kagura said.
"Yeah at K-chan's tournament." He said as he continued the same fake smile.
Yep, definitely mad.
"Well we were about to go out to dinner. Do you want to come with us?" Kagura asked.
"Uh well, I'm dress for anything fancy." I said.
He waved me off. "I'm not really into that. How about over there?" He pointed to a buffet diner. "What do you say?"
"Um..." I glanced to Mitsukuni.
"It's fine, let's go K-chan~" Oh man he's mad. The happier he sounds the more ticked off he get's. If that makes any sense.
"Great." Kagura said glancing in Mitsukuni direction. We all walked across the street to the restaurant. When we found a table and sat down.
"I'll be back I need to go to the restroom." Rin said glancing to me. I gave her a pleading look but she left anyway. She betrayed me!
I internally groaned suddenly Mitsukuni spoke. "I'm going to get something to eat." He said.
"Mitsu-"
"I'll be back." He said getting up. He really is mad. I pursed my lips.
A waiter brought waters to our table as Kagura went to speak. "...So you have a thing with sempai?"
My eyes went wide as I grabbed for the cup. Thank Buddha I wasn't drinking it this time. Maybe I'm starting to learn from my mistakes. I tried my best to compose myself. "W-What are you talking about?"
"Oh come on Kris, I saw what was going down outside. Don't deny it." Kagura said as he leaned back in his chair. "'Course it's none of my business." He shrugged.
I thought of every lie I could tell him but I none sounded right in my head. I gave in with a sigh. "What gave it away?"
"Well, when he was in school you were always with him. Never talked about girls. At first I just assume you were the forever single type. Guess not." He said.
"Listen you can't tell anybody, please?" I asked.
"It's none of my business what you do with your life Kris. Plus, I'm your friend. That's not what friends do."
I gave a sigh of relief. "Thank you." For a moment I wanted to tell him that I wasn't a boy-that I was girl. But this didn't seem like the right time. Then again when will it ever be the right time.
"No problem." He leaned forward and I did the same. "Now I know why you wouldn't accept my proposal, your already taken." He whispered in a lower voice. My face turned red.
"S-Shut up." I said.
"What's going on?" Rin asked.
"Nothing." I said quickly.
"Ah just giving Kris here a pep talk." Kagura said.
"Uh...yeah, pep talk." I said as something behind her caught my eye. "I'm going to go...to the bathroom."
"Alright..." Rin said.
I stood up and walked around a table. I saw a familiar blond turn this corner and it wasn't Mitsukuni. I walked a little ways further and saw the boy run down the hall. Oh definitely guilty. I sprinted after him and tackled the boy to the floor. Turning him over I penned him down.
I look off his hat, sunglasses and fake mustache. "Tamaki." I said giving him a frown.
He paled. "Hi, Kris." He said weakly.
"What did I tell you not to do?" I said simply. Which reminded me of my mother...oh man.
"Well you see you told me not to let them see following them." He explained.
My eye twitched. "I meant not at all! You promised!"
"I didn't think we were going to see you too." He said.
"We?" I said raising my brow. "Where is everyone else?"
"Right here." I heard as I raised my head. I saw that it was Kaoru. Along with the rest of the gang excluding Hikaru.
"Haruhi, you too?" I asked.
"I was forced." She said bluntly.
"But it's for the good of our family." Tamaki defended.
"No, Tamaki it's not. Rin looks really nice and she's doing it all for Kagura not Hikaru. I think she wan'ts to be happy, I really do. And you spying on them isn't gong to make anything better."
"But-"
"No, Hikaru's not even here which means that he doesn't want this. Even if he did Rin is hurting to much and wants to move on. I don't want anyone to be hurt or sad but that's not how it's going to go..."
"I just thought that maybe I could help. I had hoped Hikaru wouldn't be so stubborn." Tamaki said.
"Stubborn is his middle name." I mumbled.
"Actually he doesn't have one." Kaoru said. I glanced up to Kaoru and raised my brow. He shrugged with smile.
I shook my head with a smile as I got off of Tamaki. I pulled him up with me. "How did you guys even get in here without any of us noticing?"
"Kyoya is magic." Haruhi said. I glanced back at him. He simply lifted his glasses. I sucked in a breath. Haruhi continued. "Even though I was forced to come I don't know..."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well you say that Rin is trying to move on but to me she doesn't look happy."
"Shes trying..." I said. "Look you guys I've got to go back before one of them starts looking for me." I turned around and went back to the table.
"You were gone for a while." Rin said.
"Uh yeah. I was... held up." I answered. Which was true. I glanced over to Mituskuni who was eating his food without looking at me. What do I have to do to get him off his tantrum? I leaned my hand into cheek. I guess the only way is to tell him what I was going to say...
My face turned red. "Are you catching a cold?" I blinked out of thought when Rin spoke.
"Wha?"
"Your face is a little red." Kagura said.
"I'm fine." I said.
"You should eat something." Rin said.
I shook my head. "Not really hungry." I picked up my water and started to drink it. Unknown to me Mitsukuni glanced in my direction.
When we were done at the diner it was dark outside and I walked next to Rin. "I guess this turned into a double date, right?"
I sighed. "I guess."
She tilted her head. "What's wrong?"She whispered.
"Mitsukuni's mad at me." I mumbled.
"Why? You guys rarely ever get into a fight." Before I could answer Mitsukuni spoke.
"Wow a glowing fountain. It's pretty." And it was. The lights underneath the water changed colors and it was actually really pretty. There was three layers that flowed to the bottom.
"Alright, alright." Kagura said which caught my attention. He pulled out a 500 yen. "If I can make this into the top layer then Rin has to go on a second date with me." This seemed to catch her by surprise. He turned to me.
"What do you think Kris, can I make it?" I glanced to Rin.
"Maybe you should back up a little. Makes it more challenging." I said.
"Okay, what do you say Rin? Want me to give it a try?"
We stared at her for a moment and she a hesitant nod. "Sure why not."
Kagura took a few steps back and squinted his eye at the target. Finally he threw it and it was like slow motion. Would he make it?
Splash! It missed landing in the bouncing in the second ring.
He walked over to Rin. "So I guess I don't get that second date."
Rin bit her lip and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Well..."
"No, you don't." I turned around to the familiar voice to see Hikaru standing there.
"Hika-chan?" Mitsukuni called
"Hikaru what are you doing here?" Rin asked.
"I-I came to talk to you." He said, grabbing her arm. "Just come with me."
"Why should I?" She blurted.
"Please?" He repeated. She pursed her lips.
"I'm out with Kagura right now." She said. Hikaru glanced at said boy with a frown.
"I need to borrow her." He said. The raven haired boy leaned against the fountain and shrugged.
"Hm, alright."
"Kagura?" She said in disbelief.
"Go on." Hikaru didn't waste any time pulling her away. When they were gone I looked to Kagura as he stood up and walked toward me. "I'm gonna head home. See ya at school."
"Kagura wait!" I yelled. He turned to me. "Why?"
He gave me a wide grin. "Nice guys finish last."
I blinked, realizing his reference. Before I could say anything else he turned on his heel and left.
Mitsukuni and I stood in silence. "He did that on purpose, didn't he?" The blond said.
"Yeah, he did."
"He's a good guy." He finally said.
"...Yeah he is."
Mitsukuni grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry about our date. I wasn't being nice because I was mad."
"I know were, it's okay." I thought about what I was going to say to him earlier...I'll just save that for another time.
"Do you think Hika-chan and Rin-chan will be okay?" He asked.
"I honestly have no idea." I said.
"Everyone was hiding in the restaurant earlier." He pointed out.
"Yeah." I said glancing down to him. I really felt bad. First date in a while and it turned into a mess. I glanced around before calling for him. "Mitsukuni."
"Hm?" He said turning to me. I kissed his cheek and he stared at me. "You kissed me in public." He said in an excited tone.
My face turned red. "It was only on the cheek."
"But you still did it K-chan~" He cheered. "Come here!"
"Stay way from me!"
"Just one more please?"
"That's what you always say and it's never the case!"
"Only because you want it!"
"T-That's not true!" I blushed.
"Well come here and we can find out~" He said with an innocent flowery smile.
"Stop or I'll poke your neck!" I threatened. But this didn't seem to stop him.
"Okay, if I can kiss yours~" He said. I sputtered and walked on faster.
I hoped Rin was doing better off then I was.
*Break*
Rin was tired of being pulled. "Stop Hikaru, stop!" She said yanking her arm away from him. "Why did you show up here?"
"Because...I needed to talk to you." He said.
"In the middle of my date? Why couldn't you've waited until school?" She said narrowing her eyes.
"Because it had to be now, alright?"
"No it's not alright. That's not a good enough answer." Rin said.
Hikaru brushed a hand through his hair. "Ugh you are so infuriating, you know that?"
"Me? If I'm so hard to be around why are you here? I thought you didn't care?"
"I don't care." He snapped.
"Then why are we even talking about this?" She countered.
"Because you look like this!" He yelled
"Excuse me?"
"You look like this." He repeated. "And your with him and, I don't know, he's cocky. He thinks he can do whatever he want's without anyone getting mad."
"And your not like that?" Rin crossed her arms.
"No, I'm not like that."
"Really? If that's not it then what?" She asked leaning against the wall.
He was quiet for a moment as they stared at each other. "Your making this really hard to say."
"What are you talking about? I'm not doing anything!" Rin thought for a moment. "Wait a minute how did you even know I was going to be there?"
Hikaru began to blush. "Well you see...I..."
"You followed me?" She blurted.
"No! I mean, not at first..."
"You were following me. How did you even know where I was?" Rin asked.
"..."
"It was Tamaki, wasn't it?" She asked.
"Yes...it was."
"Why?" Rin asked. "Why do that? Just tell me. Well?"
"Because I freaking like you! Ok? And I don't know why. You make me so mad all the time. You have absolutely no sense of fashion, your a complete nerd and your always picking fights with me! Not to mention-"
"How did this turn into a rant about what's wrong with me?" Rin yelled.
"You didn't let me finish...even though you make me ridiculously mad." Rin frowned. "Your a lot of fun to be around and l do like talking to you. Your...pretty, and sometimes your unfashionable habits is actually cute."
"Oh thanks." Rin said in a dry tone.
"Your missing the point, I like you." Hikaru said rubbing his neck with a blush.
"What about Haruhi?" Rin asked glancing to the side.
"I...I thought I liked Haruhi but no matter how many times I tried to think about why I kept thinking about you. And..." He glanced away. "But then I saw you were going to go out with him and you looked so...I didn't want you to look like this for him. I didn't want you with him at all."
"So...what now? Do you want things to change?" Rin asked. Hikaru gave a nod. "Really?"
"What do I have to do to prove it to you?" He asked.
Rin looked up at him. "Dye your hair black."
Hikaru raised his brow. "What?...well"
She broke out into a smile and laughed "No! I'm just kidding I would never ask you to do that." Hikaru stared at her. "Relax, seriously...anyway what about Kagura?"
"He let you go with me, I'm sure you can put two and two together." He said.
"But, it just feels wrong." She said as she stared at him. "So...where does that leave us?"
He took a step forward. "I don't know, where do you want it to leave us?"
"Um...together?" She asked gazing up at him.
He gave her a sly smile and tilted up her chin and moved down. "Good answer."
*The next day.*
Rin walked into the building with a lighter stride, but she felt bad. She needed to talk to Kagura. But how was she going to bring that up? She paced in a circle outside the school gate. "What am I going to do?"
"What are you doing?" Someone asked. She turned around and saw that it was Kagura. He tilted his head and raised his brow.
"K-Kagura um I-"
"Don't." He said raising his hand. "I know what your going to say so, don't."
"I'm sorry." She blurted.
"Ooooh, you still said it." He groaned. "Ah well, there's no helping it now." He shrugged.
"I...I don't know what to say."
"Then don't say anything." He said with a grin. "I really did like you ya know."
She stared at him with wide eyes. "I..."
"So did he tell you?" He asked.
"Um...yes." She said with a blush.
"Hm, your face is all I need to let me know you accepted. That's good." He said with a smile.
"Kagura, your really way too nice." Rin said.
"Eh, what are ya gonna do, right?" He said putting his hands in the air. She stared at him. "Come on smile! Your happy right?"
"Yeah, but your not..." She blinked when a hand was laid on her head.
"I hate when a girl is sad don't make me regret my decision alright. A girl like you is a reason to be happy. Kay?"
She nodded. "Kay." They stared at each other for a moment before they heard someone.
"Hey keep your hands to yourself." They turned to see Hikaru only something was very different.
"Hikaru your hair!" Rin exclaimed. It was jet black
"Have I proved myself yet?" He asked. She ran up to him.
"I told you I was kidding." She said.
"I know, and I was serious." He said as he looked up at Kagura. They nodded at each other as if with some understanding as he left. He looked back at Rin. "So how do I look?"
"Like Hikaru."
"Okay fine, I did this for you, ya know."
"And I was joking. What do you expect me to say?"
"That I look hot." He said bluntly.
Rin blushed and looked away. "Maybe your eyes need to be checked."
"Your the one with the glasses and big ones at that."
"I thought you said you liked them."
"I never said anything about your glasses."
"Oh if you don't like them, then why don't I just throw them down and you can step on this pair too."
He flushed. "That was an accident and I said I would by you another pair."
"Uh whats going on out here? Wow Hikaru?" Kris called. "Your hair."
"Yeah, don't I look hot, miss shy over here doesn't want to admit it." Kris swear-dropped as Rin frowned.
"I think your asking the wrong one..."
"Hm, whatever." He put out his hand for the chest-nut haired girl. "Let go." She stared at his hand before taking it. Kris gave them a curious look before they all walked inside and everyone stared at the couples joined hands.
