I stared at the mark on my neck with a blush. God, Mitsukuni why did he have to do it there? Why do it at all? How am I suppose to cover this up? I can't wear a scarf because its like eighty degrees outside and I'll die from a heat stroke. I squinted at it and poked my finger at the area. Well at least it doesn't hurt at all. It had been two days since Mitsukuni had done his deed to my neck and it hadn't even started to fade yet. I was getting nervous. What if someone at school sees it and starts asking questions? Could I just pass it off as a bug bite? Perhaps, but not everyone is as gullible as I would hope to believe them to be.

I sighed and tightened my tie around my collar. Well at least I'm taller than most of the other students of my school so no one will be able to get a very good look at it. I pulled my pony tail over my should so that their was more coverage. I turned to the side and examined myself once more before giving a slight nod. I would be okay as long as I was careful.

I pulled my school bag over my shoulder and walked out of my room. I saw Aunt Mina laying on the couch in her footy pajamas. I smiled down at her. She looked like such a child it was cute. I pulled her blanket onto her and walked over to the kitchen. Before I got a step further the door bell rang. I blinked.

Who would be here? It couldn't be Haruhi because I usually waited for her outside her door. I walked over and opened the door. "Hello?" I called. I looked up to see Caleb standing there with a smile. "Hey, Caleb what are you doing here?" I asked. He had told me before he was heading back today so I wasn't expecting to see him at all. Maybe a call but that was it.

"I see your heading to school in you...uniform." He said looking me up and down. I still hadn't explained to him why exactly I'm wearing the male attire.

"Yeah, I was just about to head off to school. What are you doing here?" I asked. "I thought you were on your way back to Texas."

"Yeah, I am, but I just wanted to say goodbye in person before I go. I haven't seen you in who knows how long." He said with a bit of a sad smile.

I felt a heaviness in my chest. It didn't really hit me that I wasn't going to see him again for a while. Caleb and I might be awkward but he was one of the only friends I had back at home. We stared at each other for a moment. I shuffled my feet and lifted up my arms.

"Hug?" I offered.

He slowly grinned down at me. "Sure." He wrapped his arms around me tightly. I realized that he had grown a lot of muscle. It felt like a big friendly bear was hugging me. The thought made me laugh a bit.

"Whats so funny?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Nothing, nothing. Just a thought that came to mind." I grinned at him.

"Like what?" He asked with amused brow.

"I don't know if you'll think it's funny." I said backing away from him.

"Just tell me." He said with his dimples showing more.

"My mind just compared you to a bear." I said.

He tilted his head. "A bear?"

"A friendly bear." I added.

"Oh that makes it so much better." He said as he rolled his eyes.

"Well you could be a mean bear." I said in a matter a fact tone.

"I don't think I want to be a bear at all." He smiled back moving my hair over my shoulder. Suddenly all the happiness in his face was gone.

"What's that?" He asked. I blinked and realized he was talking about the mark on my upper neck.

I paled and pulled my hair back over the shoulder. "It's, uh nothing really." I mumbled.

He narrowed his eyes. "Krystal."

I glanced up to him. "Caleb." I countered. We stared at each other until he sighed.

"I know what it is." He said. "Though I guess it's none of my business, right?" I said nothing only looking at the floor. "Sorry to intrude on you, Kris. I'll leave now." I glanced up at him in surprise.

"Your going to leave just like that?" I asked.

"I have a plane to catch remember?"

"Well, yeah...but you seem mad at me." I said rubbing my arm.

He was quiet for a moment then scratched his head. "I'm not mad, Kris...I just I think...well I guess I'm just jealous." He said. I looked up at him with a blank expression. He peered down at me waiting for me to react. "Well jeez, Kris. Give me something."

"Ana told me that you liked me but I didn't really believe her." I mumbled.

"Tch, that kid is always blabbing off her mouth. Well she's not wrong." He said as his cheeks turned red. "I actually love you...a lot." I opened my mouth to speak but nothing was coming out. "I know its weird right? I couldn't figure it out either, but I do and I think I always will. I mean it's been over ten years and my feelings haven't change." His face was as red as a tomato as he continued to speak.

Me being an idiot I just continued to stare at his embarrassed expression. After a moment I closed my eyes and breathed. I looked back up at him. "Caleb know I can't return your-" He put a hand up.

"I already knew that you were going to say that. So please don't." He said with an even expression.

I gave him a wry look but nodded. "Did you come here just to tell me bye or all of this?" I asked.

He blinked. "Hm, well I think both. But there the same thing when you think about it." He smiled.

I wanted to tell him sorry, but I didn't want to hurt his pride anymore then I already have. "Well, I guess this is goodbye."

He nodded. "But not forever, I'll definitely be back." Caleb smiled down at me. "Oh one last thing."He moved down and I blinked at what he was about to do. He moved my bangs from my eyes. I stood still and waited for him. He kissed the top of my forehead. "So that you'll always remember me, okay?" I gave him a nod. "Friends?" He asked as he tilted his head.

I took a deep breathe. "Best friends." I said. He ruffled my hair.

"Bye, Krystal." I waved to him and tried my best to keep smiling as he left. When he was out the door I sighed and sagged my shoulders. That had to be one of the most dramatic departing I have every had to be a part of. I pursed my lips and brushed my fingers through my hair.

It's time for me to go to school. I doubt that Caleb would want me to be sad or pity his confession. So I just need to buck up and go to school. I walked out of the door and watched his car drive way. When he was gone I looked over and jumped when I saw Haruhi standing there.

"Uh, hey...Haruhi." I said with a stiff wave. She raised her eyebrow at me.

"What's with you?" She asked. "Was that Caleb I just saw?"

I nodded. "Yeah he was just telling me goodbye." I mumbled. We were quiet for a moment. I gave her a wide smile. "Well let's go to school!" I cheered.

Haruhi pulled on my wrist stopping me abruptly. "There's something wrong with you and it has something to do with him. Doesn't it?"

"I'm just sad that he's leaving. Among other things." I said pulling out of her grip. Which wasn't very tight.

She tilted her head. "Other things?" I started to tell her what happened between Caleb and I. "Wow, your really popular, Kris." I sweat-dropped.

"No I'm not and even if I was I don't want to be." I muttered. "I just feel really bad and I don't understand it. There's no real reason for him to like me. I mean he knows how I really am. What's so good about me?" I asked more to myself than Haruhi.

Haruhi shook her head taking my arm once again. "Don't put yourself down like that. There's a lot about you to like, Kris. Your my closest friend and I honestly think that your great." She said with a smile.

''Haruhi." I said looking her over trying to hide my blush.

"Plus, Mitsukuni likes you that has to count for something, right?" She added.

I deadpanned. "You ruined it, Haruhi."

She smiled. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding...So Kris..." I looked over at her as we walked on our way to school.

"Yeah?" I asked. She never really hesitates about asking me anything unless it's about Tamaki. Hopefully it was. I would have something to get my mind off Caleb.

"I need some advice." She said looking at the ground.

"About?" I asked.

"Tamaki." She breathed. Frickin' knew it.

"Alright, fire away." I told her.

"Well, I've been feeling kind of uncomfortable around him lately." She said.

"So...you don't want to be around him?"I asked trying to get information out of her.

"No, not in a way I don't want to be around him it's more like I do." She said. Seeming appalled by herself. "I feel really, really nervous and I want him to see me and-and...I just don't know how to deal with it."

I blinked before a large smile formed onto my face. "That's great!" I cheered.

"What?" She asked. Seeming to be insulted by my words.

"No, I mean your finally starting to get it." I said. She stared at me. I'm just going to say it. "You like Tamaki, do you?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

We stared at each other for a moment and I waited for her to respond. I was starting to wonder if she was going to say anything. I blinked when her face started to turn red.

My eyes widened in surprise. Of course I knew that she liked him but I wasn't expecting this. "Judging by your reaction I'll say that's a yes."

"I never said that." She mumbled though her face continued to get redder. I'm not sure how much darker her blush could get.

"Well you didn't say no either now did you?" I said with a grin. She narrowed her eyes at me. "I still don't hear a no~"

"Shut up." She muttered.

I laughed and clapped my hands together. "Oh god, this is awesome!"

"Me feeling like an idiot is awesome?" She asked.

"Your not an idiot, you just like him." I said smiling over at her. I saw that we were coming closer to the school and the gate was just around the corner. "Liking someone just makes you feel like an idiot sometimes."

"I never said I liked him...I just feel uncomfortable." She said with a blush still present.

"Yeah, well everything your telling me leads to me thinking your really like him." I said holding my arms behind my back.

"Kris." She warned.

"And your still not saying no, so I'm just going to keep thinking that you do." I said with a smile. We walked through the gate. I suddenly felt a sudden gust of cool air that blew my hair through the air.

"Kris what is that?'' Haruhi asked looking up at my shoulder. I paled and turned to her slowly.

"What is what?" I asked nervously. Dang it Mitsukuni this is all your fault!

"Kris, you know exactly what I'm talking about. What is that on your neck did someone hurt you?" She asked. I blinked. Did she think that I was beat up again? She doesn't know what a hickey is?

"Haruhi nobody hurt me. I mean it's just uh...well I wasn't hurt." I sputtered.

"Then what happened?" She asked. Oh my god. I gulped and looked down at her. How is she so smart, but so stupid at the same time?

"It's nothing Haruhi." I persisted.

"I know you lie to get out of things Kris. If someone hurt you again then you can tell me." Haruhi said.

"Oh look the bell is coming close to ringing I had better head to class." I said in a robotic tone. I turned to leave but she grabbed my arm.

"Kris, you making this way harder then it has to be." She said trying to reason with me.

"Making what harder?" I turned to see Tamaki and Kyoya standing there. The blond looked confused and Kyoya seemed solemn for the moment.

Haruhi looked over at Tamaki and paused for a moment before speaking. "Kris has a-"

I panicked for a moment before cover her mouth. "Oh, Haruhi how could you do this to me. After everything we've been through you want to end it here? I thought you and I were meant to be. You want to leave me for Tamaki? For shame, Haruhi, for shame." I yelled

"W-What?" The two yelled.

"I'm so upset I think I will cry alone." I said as everyone looked over at Tamaki and Haruhi.

"Kris!" Haruhi called with a heated expression.

I turned around. "You both have betrayed me~" I said as I ran away in the opposite direction. I kept running until I got inside and ran around the corner. I suddenly bumped into someone. I fell two or three steps back before looking up at who I hit.

"Oh man I'm sorry..." I said before trailing off. I closed my mouth when I saw that it was Hideo.

He scrunched up his face at me and crossed his arms. I stepped back. "Hm." Is all he said.

I opened my mouth but I couldn't think of anything to say. "I-I-"

"Save it." He said. He looked me over. "I see that your standing. Heard your back to normal."

"Yeah, I'm fine now." I said feeling a tightness in my chest.

His hard eyes examined my form. "Hm, I guess your as tough as they say, even if your a commoner" He mumbled. I blinked at him. Was that his way of acknowledging me? How was I suppose to feel? I looked up at him and he looked like he wanted to say something else but didn't.

I was about to speak but Renge came up behind him and touched his arm. "Hideo class is about to start are you..." She glanced over at me. "Oh hi Kris."

I blinked at them. "Uh, hey Renge..."

"I haven't seen you in a while." She said

"Yeah, I haven't." I said glancing over to Hideo as he was looking out the window.

"Well I'll see you later, right?" She asked.

"Yep, the club." I said looking back over to her.

"Bye!" She said waving over to me. I turned around as I watched Hideo and Renge walk away together. I stared over at them with a conflicted expression.

"I'm confused." I said to myself.

"About what?" I turned around to see Rin and Ana standing there.

"You didn't see them?" I asked. They gave me confused expression. "Renge and Hideo."

"Oh them, yeah their pretty close now. Don't ask me how it happened it just did." Ana said with a shrug.

"I just don't get it. He's so angry and she's loud and-and-"

"Yeah, I know what you mean," Rin said patting my shoulder.

I sighed. "Today has been so bipolar and first period hasn't even started yet." I brushed my hair back.

"What are you talking about?" Ana asked. I told them what had happened in the past hour and Rin lifted her glasses.

"Wow you've had quite the morning. But on the bright side Haruhi is being honest with her feelings...sort of." She said.

"Yeah, well the little scene I played outside should have panned it out further." I said with a smile.

"Now tell me why exactly did you do that?" Ana said looking over at me with a curious expression.

I blushed. "Well lets just say that Haruhi is naive and Mitsukuni is the complete opposite of that."

"And that meaning?"

"Exactly what I said." I mumbled.

Rin looked over at Ana eyes went wide and her face red. "You mean?" I furrowed my brow until I finally understood what she was getting at.

"OH MY GOD, NOOO!" I yelled. Everyone in the hall turned around to look at us. "I, uh, dropped my pencil." They turned away slowly before I turned around to Rin and Ana. "Don't ever insinuate something like that again."

Ana shrugged. "What? I'm just thinking about the fact that you two have been together for a pretty long time. And maybe you two-"

"Stop, stop, stop." I said waving my hands in front of her face. "Don't even go there. How can you talk about that so casually?" I covered my eyes and shook my head in embarrassment.

Ana grinned. "And judging by that mark seems he'd be ready for anything." She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"Oh god." I said. "Please don't put those images in my head.

"Hey, it's your imagination. I bet he could make it reality." She said with a grin. I continued to shake my head.

"Ana stop." Rin said. "Your being a pervert."

"Well your the one who thought they were gettin' busy." Ana countered. "Hikaru getting your mind in the wrong place?"

"S-Shut up!" She blushed.

"Both of you stop." I said. They turned to me. "I'm going to class now." I turned around without another word and walked down the hall. I fixed my uniform and took a deep breathe.

When I walked into the classroom Tamaki practically tackled me to the ground. "Kris! What was that outside?! Why did you say all that? Were you really intimate with Haruhi?!" He yelled. I found myself backed against the wall. His face was uncomfortably close to mine. Tamaki had me up against the chalk board as I looked around at the other curious students in the classroom.

"Uh Tamaki?" I squeaked.

"What?" He asked.

"Can you um back up a bit. People are getting the wrong idea." I said with a wry expression.

"Which you put in there heads. How could my own sister do this to me?" He said grabbing onto my shoulders in tears. I sweat-dropped with a sigh.

"There, there, Tamaki." I patted his back. "It was only a joke. So just relax, please?" He looked up at me with puppy dog eyes. I winced at his innocence.

"You promise?" He said with a tilt in his head.

"Yep, totally." I confirmed with a nod.

"My love for you has been restored, dear sister." He said.

I deadpanned. "I'm over joyed, my loving brother." He hugged me around my neck and I shook my head. He's so dramatic it hurts. He's rubbing off on me way to much. Literally and figuratively.

At that moment I heard a cough and we bother turned to see the teacher waiting for us to move. "I'm glad to see that you love each other but I would like to get the class started."

"Sorry, sir." We said with a bow. I heard the students around us giggling. I walked and over, sitting down in my seat. I waited for him to speak.

"As you all know you will all be let out early for summer vacation." The students cheered. "However, before that I need to assign you all your over the summer assignments." The class groaned. "Now, now none of that. Turn to page..." After that I wasn't really paying much attention. I had started to think about Caleb again. This is what happens when the lesson is boring.

Somehow I day dreamed through the entire day. At least it was a review and not something new. I can just ask Rin or Tamaki what it was. That's the perks to having smart friends. When we headed into the host club I felt like I wasn't much different.

"Hey, K-chan." I blinked and saw that Mitsukuni was leaning over me on couch. I jumped.

"Haha, sorry...I was day dreaming." He tilted his head.

"You seem really out of it." He said. "Is something wrong?"

I shook my head. "Not really I'm just thinking."

"Is it because of your American friend left?" I turned to one of the girls across form us.

"Your sister is in my class, Stephanie. She was talking about him with Satoshi" She said. I was expecting it to Ana. Being that she was so loud about everything.

"Oh, that cute foreigner is gone?" Another said.

"He would have been so great."

"If only he spoke Japanese." They all nodded in agreement.

I sweat-dropped. "Is that true K-chan?" Mitsukuni asked. I looked over at him before hesitating.

"Yeah, I guess that's it." I mumbled more to myself than them.

"Oh, that's so cute. He misses his friend." The girls said together. I glanced over at Mitsukuni who was watching me as he ate his cake.

I didn't want to say much more about the matter. It would only bring up more questions about the problem. "Kris." I paled and lifted my head to see Haruhi standing above me.

"Wow, Haruhi I know that you want me back but I need my space. You had your chance. Just stay with Tamaki." I said causing Tamaki to choke on his tea.

"Kris!" He yelled. I snorted with laughter.

"Wow what's going on over here?" The twins asked as the girls around us squealed at the thought of Haruhi and I being together.

"I'm just telling Haruhi that there's no need to try and make it work with me. Tamaki is a much better choice." I said.

The twins blinked in surprise before grinning. "Oh you didn't know they had already planned the wedding."

"They didn't invite you because they were afraid it would hurt you." Hikaru said.

"We couldn't bear to keep it from you anymore." Kaoru finished.

I turned to Haruhi dramatically. "You even planned to get married how long were you planning on keeping this from me?!" I cried. I tried to keep myself from laughing. Haruhi and Tamaki looked seriously flustered. "We were going to get married Haruhi? Remember when we talked. Tamaki you were going to be the best man!"

"How could you boss!" The twins yelled as they hugged me.

"Thank you guys. I know who to trust." I said as I hugged them back. I blinked when Mori patted my head.

"How could you Tamaki." He said.

"But I didn't! Kris!" He whined. I hide my face to stop from smiling.

"I'll comfort you, K-chan." Mitsukuni said as he jumped in the middle hugging my torso and rubbing his cheek against my chest...my chest...chest. He's doing that on purpose! I looked down with a blush. He knows exactly what he was doing. I jumped up abruptly into Mori's lap.

"Hold me!" I yelled and he automatically caught me with ease.

I turned to Kyoya and he lifted his glasses. "Your all a bunch of morons." Though I could see that he was smiling.

"B-But Kyoya she's-she!"

"Hush...you should be ashamed in yourself." I blinked when I realized he was playing along as well.

"Momma why!" He groaned as he went to his emo corner. The girls laughed and cheered.

"That was so funny." They all agreed and soon after the club was over though Tamaki sat in the corner the majority of the time.

I picked up my bag and walked over to the door. Mori came up beside me and we stared at each other.

"Your neck." He said.

"What?"

"I saw it." He said.

I paused and immediately blush. "I-It's not what you think!" I squeaked.

He stared a bit longer before patting my head. "Be careful, I told Mitsukuni the same."

I opened my mouth to speak but couldn't think of anything reasonable. In the end he left and I was left speechless. I pursed my lips. I went to leave and someone came up beside me. They grabbed my hand. "K-chan summer starts this week~"

"Yeah, it does." I muttered.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

I moved my hair and pointed to the mark. "Because of this everyone thinks I..."

"You what?" He asked.

"They all think we did things." I said.

"Oh." He said in a casual tone.

"That's all you have to say?" I asked.

"Isn't it natural for it to be that way when people are dating?" He asked.

"I...I don't know, maybe. I wouldn't know." I said with a shrug.

"Well I think it is." He said with a smile as he swung my hand.

"Really?" I asked not so much surprised but I wanted to hear it from him.

"Yeah I do." He said staring up at me. My face slowly turned red. I didn't say anything else. "Hey K-chan you know what's coming up, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah our anniversary."

"Well do you want to come over to my house?" He asked casually. I stared at him with wide eyes. "No, no, my mom really want's to see you again. And I think my dad likes you cause he agreed."

I felt happy by this. "Wow, okay." I said with a smile. "What about your brother?"

"Chika-chan like you too. He said it was fine." He said. His whole family wants me to come over?

I grinned down at him. "That sounds nice then."

"Your being super cute, K-chan." He said.

"Not really." I said with a blush. I paused before turning to him. "Is there anything you want?"

"Hm?"

"For our, um, anniversary. Anything special?" I asked. Maybe cake he loves sweets and cookies and-

"You." I blinked.

"What?" I asked with a blank expression.

We stared at each other until he broke into a flowery smile. "Just kidding, K-chan. You got so serious. Anything you give me would be nice though."

"Uh, yeah alright..."

"What about you?" He asked.

"For me? Um, I can't really think of anything. I'm not really good with presents."

"That's not true you got me such a cute stuffed animal for my birthday." He defended.

I sweat-dropped. "That was all I could think of." I rubbed my head.

"Oh, oh, I have an idea!" He said in an excited tone.

"What is it?" I asked wryly.

"A kiss for everyday I've been with you." He said.

I choked on air. "Three hundred and sixty five?! That's crazy!"

He crossed his arms in a pout. "Fine three hundred and sixty five seconds."

"Who is this a gift for exactly?" I asked.

"Fine I'll just surprise you then. You won't know what hit you."

"Why do I fell scared rather then happy." I asked.

"It'll be fun Kris, I promise." He said.

"Okay." I said as we started to walk again. I'm starting to wonder if him asking for me as a present was really a joke...

Yeahhhhhh! I'm just going to move my story up to rated: T since I'm talking about more mature stuff. But anyway please review because you know that's the best way to earn my love.
