It's been a while but I got this chapter here. I realize that I am illiterate so please excuse the mistakes if you see them. Thank you for the follows favorites and reviews.
Disclaimer: Nope.
I laid my head against my arm as I drummed the tips of my fingers on Bubbles glass tank. After the mishap at Misuzu's inn, Tamaki took me back home. It was a painfully long and silent ride back to my apartment. I didn't get to talk much more to Haruhi because she was avoiding Tamaki and he wouldn't go over to her. I decided not to pester him about it anymore. However, I felt stuck between the two of them. Tamaki and I were close and Haruhi was my best friend. It was bothering me and I needed to talk to someone that would be up-front about the issue.
Well, two someones.
"So what did he say?" I turned around to Stephanie who leaned her back against the head board. She crossed her arms and looked over at me.
I shrugged. "He didn't say much of anything, he was quiet after everything was said."
"Really? That's a first." Ana said looking up from her book. "Maybe he's really thinking about it and everything will end up like a Disney fairy tale." Her voice was mocking with a high pitch tone, though her voice was already very acute.
I shook my head and turned around to her. "Hey, it would be nice for the both of them when that does happen."
"I'll admit it would be satisfying if they stopped tip-toeing around each other. Like Hikaru and Rin, there's was way too much drama with them." Ana said flipping a page in her comic.
"As true as that may be they are relatively happy and that's all that matters." Stephanie said. Ana laughed at "relatively happy". "Besides Tamaki doesn't even truly have feelings for this girl, am I correct? So there's nothing to worry other than unavoidable teenage drama."
"God, such an idiot he clearly doesn't like her like the other girl." Ana said. Stephanie and I blinked before turning around to the outburst of the blond. She looked up at us. "What?...oh, sorry I was just reading. Shoujo can do that to me, I should really stick to Shounen."
I rolled my eyes in good nature. "Kristy, did you really only call us over to talk about Tamaki and Haruhi's relationship issues?" Stephanie asked.
I shifted myself onto the bed next to my sister. "Well, partly. I guess I just missed having you guys around."
She smiled at me. "I have missed your company as well, Kristy."
"Aw~" Ana said jumping in the middle as she hugged my side. "Piggy so cute~" I groaned before Ana paused.
"W-What?" I asked, thinking that she was referring to the marks on my collarbone. I subtly pulled up my shirt to avoid the conversation, though to my relief that wasn't her focus.
"Is that a gold ring on your left hand?" Ana asked. I blinked at her not understanding what she was trying to get at.
"Yeah, so?" I said staring down at the ring, feeling slightly uncomfortable.
"Uh, did Mitsukuni give this to you or do you have a secret money stash we don't know about?" Ana said scooting closer to me, sitting Indian style.
"Yes, Mitsukuni gave it to me, it was a gift...for our anniversary..." I said with a blush as I looked down at the ring.
"Aw, Kristy~" Ana said hugging me as she rubbed her cheek against mine. I rolled my eyes as my face reddened.
"So assuming that it's on your middle rather than your ring finger, I am right to think that he didn't pop the question." Stephanie said glancing over to me. I stared at her for a moment before my eyes widened.
"What question!" I shouted.
"Oh~" Ana said with a devious smile. "I see, Stephanie you're pretty smart sometimes."
Stephanie rolled her eyes. "I have my moments." She said in a sarcastic tone.
"Kristy our dear sweet sister, did anything interesting happen on such a special day?" Ana asked twirling her hair through her fingers.
"We had a nice time..." I said briefly.
"That's all your gonna say?" She persisted. Ana sighed when I didn't answer.
"Well, however disappointing it may be, it's best to presume that he did not ask for your hand in marriage." Stephanie uttered.
"M-Marriage?" I repeated. "Oh, nononono. That's not what happened, he was j-just giving me a gift. Just a present."
"Mmm, really? So there was no mention of wanting to be together in internal matrimony?" She teased with a smile forming on her face.
"No! That didn't happen!" I said feeling more embarrassed as I covered my face.
"Piglet, don't get so flustered we're only playing." Ana cooed. "besides you... you...that's a hickey." She stared at me for a moment before inching towards me.
"No, nooo, no no nooo." I said slowly as she suddenly jumped on top of me. "Get off, Ana!" I struggled for a moment as I attempted to free myself.
"Stephanie hold 'er down!"
"Rodger." Stephanie pushed my arms down as Ana lowered my shirt enough to see the marks on my collar bone.
"Wow ha ha oh~, these definitely ain't mosquito bites!" Ana bursts out into a fit of giggles.
I blushed as I practically threw her off of me. "Yeah, I know that!"
"Well, when exactly did that happen?" Stephanie asked.
"It doesn't matter, now let me go!" I said as my face turned red.
"Yes, it does matter, our big sister is gettin' freaky with her boyfriend, I wanna know~" Ana said, bouncing on the bed with a grin. I blushed when she said freaky and she wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"God, Ana your such a pervert!" I yelled.
"Yes, I am a pervert and I will admit it wholeheartedly." Ana said, holding a hand over her chest as if what she was saying was justified.
"Your reaction tells me that something happen...on your anniversary perhaps?" Stephanie asked with a tilt in her head.
"Stephanie, I didn't think you would betray me." I mumble and a redness that refused to leave my cheeks.
She shrugged. "I'm curious."
"It doesn't matter! What's done is done!"
Ana smirked with a suggestive look in her eyes."Oooh, I see, he gives you a present and your so touched you both just-"
"Quit it, Ana!" I said as I pushed her away. She giggled at my expense. "Why do you even need to know this stuff?"
"Well, between the three of us, your the only one with a boyfriend. Besides, what kind of sisters would we be if not to ask about personal experiences with your significant other?" Stephanie said as if everything she was saying was practical.
"Ah, I don't know, normal?!" I blurted.
Ana snorted. "When were we ever normal?" I silently agreed with that. However, it didn't make me any more comfortable with talking about sex.
"Kristy?" Stephanie said sitting a bit closer. "I won't speak for Ana, obviously, but I'm just curious. Did you?"
I stared for a moment before covering my face with a nod. There was complete silence before both of them squealed. They jumped up and down on the bed before they tackled me back onto the bed. "Ouff!" I said with a flop.
"Haha, I'm totally gonna go to the extreme with my innuendos from now on." Ana said laying her head back on my stomach.
"I regret inviting you two over." I muttered.
"No you don't, you love us and nothing will change that." Stephanie said.
I rolled my eyes. "Cocky aren't you?"
"We just know the truth." She replied.
I sighed as I looked up at the ceiling. "You two annoy me to no end."
"We love you too." They said in unison as they hugged me. Something that didn't usually happen between them. I might hate that there bothering me, but I'd rather have them around than not. We were all quiet and it wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it reminded me of how things use to be before I came to Japan. I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes as my cheeks reddened. "Only minor details, alright?" Ana and Stephanie sat up before looking at each other and grinned as they looked over at me with anticipation.
*Festival*
I sighed as I buttoned up my white collared shirt. Apparently, Misuzu wanted me to help promote his breakfast inn. I said yes, thinking that I was pacing out flyers or talk to people about his business However, he had something completely different in mind. I should have known he wouldn't take the normal route of doing things. I snapped on the black bow tie before adjusting my vest. I then tucked my shirt into my jeans before I buckled the belt and tied my boots.
"I guess this is alright." I tied up my hair and put it all in a blue fedora so that my hair looked short. Misuzu said if I dressed up a certain way and promoted the inn, I would be a big help to him. I don't see how this would help, but regardless I decided to support him during the festival. I walked out of the changing room and stood out in front waiting for Miszu to give me direction. I stuffed my hands into my jean pockets waiting around by the front steps that lead up to the rooms.
I turned around when I heard a whistle. "Don't you clean up nice." Mei stood there with a smirk.
I gave a bit of a shy smile. "Thank you, your kimono is pretty."
"Oh, you like it? I made it you know." She said with a proud smile.
"Really?" I said in surprise, looking at her work in amazement. "I didn't realize you were so talented."
"Geez, you can't talk to me while your looking like such a hot guy. I might just take you out on a date instead of Tamaki." She said with a playful tone.
I gave an uncomfortable blush. "I wouldn't say that..." Though I realized she said Tamaki and her were going on a date. I wanted to change the subject, but I didn't know her very well and couldn't think of anything to say. Thankfully her father came in with a bubbly expression.
"Oooh don't you just look ravishing~" He said with a laugh. "I knew this was a good idea. Those ladies over there have been giggling over you since you walked in." I glanced over to the women and they squealed when I looked at them.
"I guess I make a better guy than a girl." I mumbled under my breath.
"Hm what did you say?"
I looked up at him with a sheepish smile. "Oh nothing, what would you like me to do?"
He gave me a smile before clapping his hands together. "Well, you weren't wrong about passing out flyers. I'd just like you to smile and do just that."
"And you think that will help with your inn?" I asked, trying not to sound like it wouldn't work. Because it probably would, stranger things have gotten peoples attention.
"Don't you worry your pretty little head, alright?" He said with a smile as he handed me the flyers. "Once you've passed out all of these your free to enjoy the festival. But I doubt that will take long with a look like this."
I nodded, taking the stack of paper from his hands. "Alright." He turned to leave and I called out to him. "Oh, Misuzu! Where is Haruhi?"
"Oh, she's getting ready, she should be down soon." He said.
"Okay." I said as he turned around. I looked over at Mei. "I better get to work then." I said with a small grin.
"Kris seriously, stop making me wish you weren't a female." I blinked, not understanding her point, but shrugged with a nod. I walked out the front door and stood outside into the street. The roads were much busier considering the festival was the highlight of the weekend. I looked up at the sky seeing that it was getting darker and the street lights were turning on. I blew my hair out of my face as I looked over at a few girls that shyly walked up to me.
I gave them a smile. "Hello, there." I gave them a each a flyer. "Please come to Misuzu-chi's inn. I'd really like it if you were there."
"Oh, we'll come most definitely!" One of the girls piped.
I tilted my head. "You promise?"
The nodded. "We promise!"
"Good, I look forward to seeing you all." I said brushing my bangs out of my face. When they left I let out a sigh.
"Oooh, look at you~" I turned around to see the Hitachiin twins looking at me with a smirk. "We didn't know you were a host outside of school too."
I rubbed my arm in embarrassment. "Look, it's not like that. I'm just doing a favor Misuzu, it's not like I want to do this."
"Well you certainly play the part well." Rin said walking from behind them. I looked her over to see the kimono she was wearing.
"You look very pretty today." I said walking up to her.
"Thank you, you look rather handsome yourself." She said with a teasing grin. Rin walked over to me and linked arms with me. "I think I'll go to the festival with you instead. A certain someone doesn't seem to think it will be fun spending time with me."
Hikaru rolled his eyes. "Oh come on, I said I was kidding."
"Whatever~" She sung hugging into my side. "I like Kris better anyway."
Hikaru looked at me with his arms crossed. "I guess you are my rival." I sweat-dropped looking over at Kaoru. He seemed to be enjoying the scene in front of him. I mouthed: 'please help me.' but he only grinned. He betrayed me.
Traitor.
Thankfully, Kyoya and Tamaki came up. The looked at his surroundings with excitement. His eyes sparkled, practically lighting up the night with his joy. "Ooh, this looks it could be fun!"
"Boss, your really into this, your even wearing a yukata." The twins said.
"Of course, unlike you two I understand the tradition of festivals despite this festivity only being for commoners."
My eye twitched at his statement. "Hey, your here aren't you?" Tamaki looked over at me as I crossed my arms at him.
"Why are you dressed like that? Cosplay perhaps ?" He asked.
I sighed. "Like I was saying before, I didn't want to do this. I'm only helping out Misuzu."
"Oh...who is Misuzu?" Rin asked.
"Oh that's right, you wouldn't know him, would you?" Hikaru said. She shook her head.
"He's the owner of that breakfast inn over there." Kaoru said pointing to the building.
"Yeah, I stayed here last year with Haruhi." I said.
"Speaking of Haruhi where is she?" Kyoya asked. I blinked at him surprised that he asked rather than Tamaki.
"She's inside getting ready." I said, brushing my bangs back. I took in a deep breath. I was starting to wonder where when she was going to come out, not to mention I wondered where Mori and Mitsukuni were as well. I hoped that they were here soon though I suppose it wouldn't change the fact that had to pass out flyers. Though it seemed like the universe heard my wonder I saw Mitsukuni and his taller cousin walking in our direction.
The smaller blond smiled happily and waved at us. "Hi everyone~!" He skipped over and stood beside me. "K-chan what are you wearing?"
I rubbed my head awkwardly. "I'm just helping out with the breakfast inn. Advertising I suppose."
He tilted his head. "Advertising what?"
"Well the-"
"Herself." Rin said with a laugh.
I turned to her with a blush. "N-No, just...well...no, not really?" This seemed to make her laugh harder. Her giggling made this all more uncomfortable.
"So you just stand out here dressed like this passing out flyers?" Mitsukuni asked. I nodded. "Will you need any help?"
"I can leave once I'm done though and I don't have a lot, so there's no worry." I said reassuring him with a smile.
"Well, we can't just leave you here while we're having all the fun." Tamaki said. "Hand me some of those and we'll be done in no time."
I shook my head. "I'm totally fine, I don't need any help besides you were looking forward to this right?" I asked. Hoping that he read between the lines an realize what exactly I was talking about.
"Do you really want to stand out here alone?" Kaoru asked. Before I could respond Mei and Haruhi both came outside. I noticed that she was also wearing a kimono ad it looked raher nice on her if I said so myself.
"Wow, Haru-chan you look super cute!" Mitsukuni said with a smile.
"Thanks." She said briefly. Everyone looked over at Mei who gave a wave as she held one hand on her hip.
"Hey." The girl said simply. "I'm Mei, it's nice to meet you guys, I guess."
"You guess?" The twins repeated. She ignored them and walked over to Tamaki.
"So you ready to have fun?" She grinned up at him and Tamaki glanced over to Haruhi who walked over to me. Oooh this is awkward. Mei tilted her head. "Hello? Any one in there?" She asked. Tamaki turned his attention away from the smaller girl and smiled at Mei.
"Yes, I'm here, however I'd like to help Kris with the flyers it is quite a lot." He said. I narrowed my eyes at him. I realized that he was trying to avoid her, but he had to talk to both of them at some point and he can't just use me as a shield.
"I already told you I don't need your help." I said crossing my arms. "You guys go on and have fun."\
"But Kris it wouldn't be right-" Tamaki was interrupted. However it wasn't who I expected either.
"I'll help her." Mori said, taking the flyers out of my hand. I went to reach for them but he was however much taller than myself. I puffed out my cheeks as I watched his blank expression.
"I'm staying too." Mitsukuni said with a smile.
"No." Mori said and everyone looked at him in surprise. "You go on a head. I'll be helping her out." I raised my brow. There was something behind his tone that I couldn't quite understand. Though that could be the fact that his pitch never changed to express emotion. I looked up at him an he turned to me as if he had something to say. For some reason I nodded as if I understood, perhaps he did have something to talk to me about.
"Takashi?" Mitsukuni said before looking at me.
I smiled down at him rubbing the back of my head. "Yeah, Mitsukuni it's cool. Mori's got me." I glanced over to Haruhi. "Why don't you go on ahead with them. I'll be there in a little while." Mitsukuni tuck out his bottom lip as if I betrayed him.
"Fine." He said in his usual childish tone.
"Shall we go then?" Tamaki asked looking over at Mei, holding out his arm for her.
Mei looked down at his gesture. "Your so polite, it's weird." She grabbed hold of her arm, they started to walk away and I waved over at them. Mitsukuni turned away from me with a pout. I sweat-dropped at his childlike attitude. When they left I turned back around to Mori. I wasn't sure exactly why he decided to help me, not to mention he didn't want Mitsukuni here with him.
"Can I have the flyers back?" I asked, holding out my hand. He only stared at me for a moment before giving me only half.
"I'm helping remember?" He said in a flat tone.
"Right." I answered awkwardly. I turned away from him and we were both silent. Finally a large group of people walked by. "Um, hello please come to Misuzu-chi's breakfast inn. It's a really nice place." I smiled and some of the girls in the group giggled.
"Your cute." One of them said.
"Thank you." I said blushing a bit at there forwardness.
"Oh he's shy." Another said.
"What's your name?"
"Kris." I said. Noticing the boys in there rather large group weren't happy with their friendly flirt. I don't want to deal with any kind of conflict. "Here, take a flyer and show it to your friends." I gave a awkward smile trying to hurry this along. The girls all did as I asked and only one of the boys took a flyer from me. I sighed. This is never going to get done.
"Here." Mori said passing them out to each guy whether they wanted it or not. I almost laughed at their expressions. Way to go Mori!
"See ya around Kris~" A couple of the girls yelled as they walked away. When they started to leave one of the guys bumped me with a glare and I dropped the flyers.
"Girly looking guy." He mumbled making sure I heard it. I sighed before kneeling down and starting to pick them up. Mori helped me as well and I smiled over at him.
"Thanks." I said. He nodded acknowledging that I spoke. When they were all pick up, straightened up my back with a groan. "Well at least there's not as many anymore. I never said it but thank you for helping, even if you forced your kindness." I joked. He gave me a slight smile and I grinned up at him. "Well I better get back to it-"
"Kris." I turned around to him.
"Yes?" I was caught off guard when he grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to him. I blushed slightly at this. "W-What are you doing?" He lifted my left hand up to his face and stared down at my hand. "What is it?"
"He didn't do it." I blinked.
"What?" I asked. "What didn't who do? I don't understand." He didn't say anything only letting my hand go. "Mori, your not making any sense. I realize your nice and all, but why did you offer to help me. Plus you didn't want Mitsukuni to help is there something you'd like to say to me?" He was quiet and usually that wouldn't bother me at all, but he was keeping something from me. I frowned at him. "Fine whatever."
"It's on the wrong finger." He said suddenly.
"What?"
He paused as if not sure how to say it. "Your ring is on the wrong finger."
I looked down at the ring Mitsukuni gave. "My ring? Why would you say that?"
"Because it is." Mori said. "Mitsukuni must have gotten scared."
"Wait, hold up, hold up." I said shaking my head. "Would you please stop speaking in riddles and tell me what exactly is going on. What is Mitsukuni scared of and just what about my ring seems to be bothering you?"
"He talked to me about it and had been thinking about it for quite some time, but in the end he didn't do it." He said. "You not understanding what I'm referring to lets me see that."
"See what?" I asked tired of this round about speaking.
"A proposal." He said flatly. I stared at him for a moment.
"What?" Not sure if I heard him correctly. "A-A proposal, me?"
"Yes, he had some doubts that you would want something like that, right now anyway." He explained. I pursed my mouth and turned away from him.
"Let's...let's just pass out the rest of the flyers, alright?" He said nothing more and I grateful for this. I felt a burden in the pit of my stomach. Part of me felt a strange excitement at his words and didn't know how to express it. The half was terrified that something such as this was even an option for someone like me. I was still in high school after all. I didn't even know what I wanted to do with my life, much less how to deal with marriage.
It seems that my sisters actually did know what they were talking about. I curse them for that.
Mitsukuni actually wanted to get married to me? Was that even real. Well Mori wouldn't lie to me, so obviously it was true. Oh man, now I'm freaking out. I'm still only seventeen. I can't get married, then again mom and dad got married at eighteen. Then they me not long after, but I'm not them. I took in a deep breath, this couldn't get to me right now. I have a job to do.
Mori and I didn't talk to each other as I passed out flyers and before I knew it we were both done. I awkwardly turned back to the taller boy. "Thanks for...helping me like this." I said trying not to look him in the eye. Suddenly Mori grabbed my face and made me look up at him. He keeps catching me off guard. He lowered his face slightly and I flinched with a blush. Why, I don't know. I blinked when he knocked me in the forehead with his knuckles.
"Ow..." I said rubbing the reddened spot. I peered up at him.
"Don't avoid him because I told you this. He's conflicted right now and I believe you should think about it." He said.
"Okay." I said with a nodded. He then squished my hat onto my head further. "Hey!" I yelped and I saw him smiling before he turned around to walk. I jogged a bit to catch up to him. "Your kind of teaser, Mori."
"Maybe." Is all he said.
"But...your nice." I said in a matter of fact tone. I saw him glance down at me from the corner of my eye. "Have you ever thought of dating?"
"I'm too busy." He said.
"Too busy?" I asked with a raised brow. He nodded. "Mm, alright. I guess I won't pry."
"Hm." He said.
"But... if you get any phone calls from females asking for dates...just know it wasn't me." I said innocently. He turned quickly as I stared to back away. "Mori wait, I was just kidding." He took a step closer. "I said I was kidding...look a helpless animal in need!" He turned around and I ran for it. I kept going until I spotted Kaoru and grabbed him with me.
"Wow!" He yelped. We both fell the ground with myself on top of him. I turned around to see Mori coming in the direction. I paled and pulled the ginger behind a booth. I covered his mouth and waited until he walked past. I sighed in relief.
"Good, he's gone." I turned back to the ginger and realized I was still on him. "Sorry." I dragged myself off and sat next to him.
"What is going on?" He asked with slightly red cheeks.
"I was running from Mori, I may have said something that embarrassed him." I laughed awkwardly. We were both silent for a moment. "Why are you here by yourself?"
"Well, I was with Hikaru and Rin, but...they seemed fine on their own." He said leaning back.
"Oh." Is all I said.
"Hey...why didn't your sister's come?" He asked, not looking at me directly. I gave him a curious expression, but avoided my eyes.
"Well they are in the karate club and there's a summer competition tomorrow so they must be training." I explain. "Same for Kendo though were starting training up again next week."
"Oh, I see." He said.
"Why do you ask?"
"No reason, just wondering."
I didn't want to say this, but I'm just gonna go for it. "I see that you and Ana hang out a lot more now." I said not looking at him directly. His head turned to me quickly.
"Well were just friends." He said a bit too quick.
"Oh, alright." I said casually.
"Really we are." He said as I looked at his face. It was a bit embarrassed and that made me laugh. "Hey stop it!"
"Relax I'm only teasing, but teasing is why I'm hiding here right now." I said. "You don't need to tell me anything if you don't want to."
"But there's nothing...really going on, we're friends." He said.
I stood to my feet and put out a hand for him. "Sure whatever you say koala bear." He sighed with a bit of blush as I pulled him to his feet. "What do you say we look for the others." He nodded and I glanced over when I saw Mei walking in the opposite direction with a sad look on her face. "Where is she going?" I wondered if Tamaki had said something to her. Before I could do anything Mori and Mitsukuni walked over to us.
"Hey, K-chan your done with the flyers right?" He asked with a smile.
Marriage.
I glanced over to Mori before nodding. "Yeah...I'm done. Kaoru and I were just about to go look for everybody."
"Haruhi is with Tamaki." He said.
"Really?" I asked peering back to where Mei went.
"Yeah, it looks like there talking. So I didn't want to bother them." The smaller blond continued.
"So where is Kyoya?" I asked.
"I'm not sure we can look for him-"
"We'll do that." Mori said pushing Kaoru along.
"H-Hey Mori sempai, wait!" He said struggling against the taller boy. I blinked at the two as it was obvious that he wanted me to talk to Mitsukuni. I turned back to the smaller blond with an awkward smile.
"Um, do you wanna walk?" I asked, putting out my hand for him. He nodded and took mine into his.
"So, what did you and Takashi talk about?" He asked.
I cleared my throat nervously. "Oh, you know normal stuff. I asked him if he ever thought about dating and said 'I'm too busy'."
"Is that all?" Mitsukuni persisted.
"Well, I told him females would be calling his house for dates." I added.
"Anything else?"
"What else would we talk about?" I said looking down at him.
"I think you know K-chan." He said looking me directly in the eyes. I turned away as subtly as possible.
"Um, do you want to get something to eat, they have sweets over-"
"I need you to come with me really quick, kay?" He tilted his head with a smile.
Uh oh. Before I could protest I was already being dragged to the alleyway. "Mitsukuni you-"
"K-chan I know that you two talked about something and I know it was about me." He said.
"Then why even ask if you already know that the conversation went on?" I crossed my arms looking at him with a frown.
"Because I thought that you would talk to me about it, but your avoiding the whole thing." Despite the fact this his face only showed a pout I knew that he was mad.
"Alright let's talk then. When you gave me this ring I had no idea the subject of marriage was tied anywhere near it." I said. " Now Mori is telling that's what this is for, you said you told Mori. You gave me something so important without saying anything. Why didn't you even talk to me about it?" He didn't say anything. "Hello?"
"Because I was scared." He finally said. "I've been thinking about it for a long time, K-chan. I was just going to ask you, but I got scared that you would love me anymore. I thought I was doing something only I wanted. That day was very special to me, K-chan, very special."
"Mitsukuni...I wouldn't stop loving you, but I'm just not ready for something like that. I'm only seventeen, I don't know if I can just get married. You and just all of this is over-whelming."
"I'm over-whelming you?" He eyes widened and he sounded a bit hurt. Though I couldn't see his face in the dark and I was beginning to become stressed. So I didn't notice tone changing.
"A little, I mean..." I turned to him to see that I had hurt his feelings. "Mitsukuni I didn't man it-"
"No it's fine K-chan if I'm bothering you then you should tell me. I'll stay away so you don't feel overwhelmed." He said turning to walk away.
"Stay away, what do you mean by that?" Though he didn't turn around. "Mitsukuni? Hey are you listening!"
The silent cupid had failed at his job as a giant love fairy.
