"Haruhi! Haruhi! Wake up! It's Christmas!" Tamaki whispered beside Haruhi's bed.
"Why are you whispering?" Haruhi asked groggily as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"I don't want to wake up the demon!" Tamaki replied, gesturing to Yuki.
"I'm already awake..." Yuki sat up. She couldn't sleep last night.
"Have you been up all night? You don't look so good." Haruhi questioned. Yuki plastered on a smile.
"No. My body just woke up earlier than usual. But I'm perfectly fine, I assure you." Yuki answered. She thought she sounded like Kyoya there for a moment. Perhaps if she talked more like him, he would love her? Yuki is still no where near as smart as Kyoya is. And she has seen him and Karen share intellectual conversation. So maybe Kyoya doesn't love Yuki because she's stupid?
These thoughts were giving Yuki a headache. Anyway, so Yuki and Haruhi went to Kyoya and Karen's room as Tamaki woke everyone else up. Yuki stopped on the way to the bathroom to cover up the dark circles and make herself not look like she's been up all night. Kyoya looked rather irritated, but probably has cooled down by the time Haruhi and Yuki arrived.
Yuki spotted Kyoya immediately. He was sitting in a chair finishing reading A Christmas Carol.
Yuki suddenly burst out in giggles. "Some things never change." She muttered. Kyoya heard her and looked up. "I remember you told me that your family every year reads that book together on the days leading up to Christmas."
"You never cease to amaze me with your memory, Yuki." Kyoya complimented. Yuki blushed furiously. And then Haruhi excused herself to run to the bathroom, leaving Yuki alone with Karen and Kyoya. Karen got up to put a sweatshirt on, but when she went to go sit down, Kyoya grabbed her and pulled her on his lap. He only did that a handful of times with Yuki. Karen giggled and Yuki had to look away as they started being affectionate. This was killing her. She was ready to die now.
"Merry Christmas!" Tamaki burst into the room. He strolled over to Yuki, cupped her chin, and then kissed her. It was brief and Yuki smacked his head.
"What the hell, Tamaki? What about Haruhi?" Yuki snapped.
"It's a Christmas kiss!" Tamaki grinned that goofy smile of his. Yuki knew Haruhi could probably care less. And she was in the bathroom. She still felt a pang of guilt.
"Merry Christmas." The twins weren't as enthusiastic as Tamaki because they just woke up. And just like Tamaki, Hikaru and Kaoru each planted a kiss on Yuki. Yuki gave them a look, but before she could say anything...
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Hunny came bouncing in the room. And he briefly kissed Yuki like Tamaki and the twins. Following behind him was Mori, who bent over and kissed Yuki like everyone else. Yuki threw her hands in the air.
"What the fu-" the twins covered her mouth with their hands.
"Watch your language! Mommy! Our daughter has a potty mouth!" Tamaki whined to Kyoya. Boy, did Kyoya look ticked off.
"C'mon, it's Christmas!" The twins said to Yuki. Yuki scowled and they removed their hands. Hikaru and Kaoru were grinning from ear to ear. Yuki went off with more swears anyway.
So, everyone opened presents they got each other. Yuki distributed her presents to everyone.
"Commoner food! This is the best!" Tamaki cried, going through the box full of commoner food from Yuki.
"Yay! Cake!" Hunny took the cake out of the box. The cake looked exactly like Usa-chan and had strawberries on it.
"That's not just any cake. I got that cake from Carlo's Bakery." Yuki said.
"Carlo's Bakery?! No way! I've always wanted to try the cake there! It's supposed to be the best!" Hunny exclaimed as he happily started his cake. Hunny's favorite American show was Cake Boss.
"Friends!" The twins cheered, holding up all seasons of Friends. "Thanks!"
"A...cooler?" Haruhi arched an eyebrow. "Thank you...?"
"Open it." Haruhi did and grinned.
"Fancy tuna. Thanks."
"I saw you reading The Great Gatsby and I thought you would like some other classics." Yuki said to Mori. She bought him two collections of old classics: a Japanese collection and an American collection. Mori smiled.
"Thanks. I love them." He messed up Yuki's hair. Yuki grinned. She was worried he wouldn't like it. He was actually the hardest one to shop for.
"A bear?" Kyoya's present was a black Build-A-Bear and its certificate.
"You missed out when we went! So I made you a black bear to match the color of your heart." Yuki teased. Everyone laughed. Kyoya chuckled.
"And you named it the Shadow King too." Kyoya read the certificate out loud. Yuki grinned.
"Suiting." The twins agreed.
"Here! Open my present! It's the best one!" Tamaki pushed over a wrapped box.
"You guys already got me presents." Yuki protested.
"But that was for your birthday, Yuki-chan." Hunny pointed out. "This is for Christmas." Yuki opened Tamaki's present and screamed in joy.
"It's Dark Pretty Cure 5, Eas, Infinity Silhouette, Dark Cure, and the Bad End Precure!" She squealed at the figurines as she hugged Tamaki tightly.
"My turn!" Hunny pushed a box towards Yuki. She opened it, revealing more cake.
"You can never have too much cake." Yuki laughed.
"This time, it's chocolate! I thought I'd mix it up a bit!" Hunny stated proudly. Mori handed Yuki his present. She opened it, screamed in joy once again, and flung herself at Mori.
"I love you, Mori! You're the best! Kettei! You're getting the best birthday present ever!" Yuki decalred. Inside the box were plushies of all of the Precure mascots from Mepple and Mipple to Sharuru, Raquel, Lance, Dabyi, and Ai. Tamaki began to grow mushrooms in the corner.
Mori smiled and patted Yuki's head affectionately. The bell of a bike began to ring. Yuki looked up and Hikaru and Kaoru are strolling in with a pink bicycle. Attached to it is a white basket with plastic daisies on it and pink streamers on the handlebars. The handlebars are complete with a shiny bell. Yuki burst out laughing.
"You're a little late. Like 5 years." Yuki teased.
"You said we owe you a bike. You didn't specify when we have to get you a new one." The twins said merrily. Yuki laughed.
"Thanks. I really appreciate it." The twins grinned and Yuki picked up a box with her name written on it. "Is this from you?" Yuki asked Kyoya.
"Yes." Kyoya replied, pushing his glasses up his nose. Yuki smiled and tore off the Christmas wrapping paper. On the uncovered box was the picture of a laptop. Yuki's jaw dropped. She opened the box to be sure. Sure enough, a shiny, brand new laptop was what came out of the box.
"Oh my god. Is this for real?" Yuki opened the laptop and turned it on. It came to life, fully functioning. "This is so extravagant. Thanks, moneybags."
"It's Mr. Moneybags." Kyoya corrected in a playful tone. Everyone laughed. Yuki's final Christmas present was from Haruhi. Yuki unwrapped it. It was an old book. Yuki opened it and nearly dropped it. It was a photo album. The photo album was filled with pictures of when Yuki was a part of the Host Club with everyone. All of her precious memories…
"Thank you, Haruhi." Yuki was so happy she started crying. She treasures all of her memories. Her mom never took any pictures so the only thing she had of her childhood were her old dance videos and pictures. That's why these are so important. Wait, her old videos…Kyoya had them. Yuki suddenly remembered that. He tried blackmailing her in high school with her old dance videos given to him by Daichi and Michio. But she guessed it doesn't matter to her now….
"Why are you crying?" Haruhi asked with concern written all over her face. Yuki shook her head and smiled brightly through her tears.
"I'm just so happy…I just cry sometimes. It's no big deal…" Yuki assured. "Thank you so much, everyone."
