(Hello everyone, sorry again for dropping off the face of the earth, writers block is really hard to deal with some days. But today I was actually feeling inspired, and I'm procrastinating on working on an English paper for my final so I decided I was going to write. I decided I had left this one alone for far too long, and it really needed to be continued. I know I talked with one of my lovely readers a while ago about what she would find in the vault but I don't remember everything that we mentioned and I couldn't find it in my pms, so I'll be adding some random items in there along with some of the items I do remember. I'm trying to figure out a nice schedule for myself to update. I'm thinking over break if I'm not working I'll be updating each of my stories once a week. So it'll be something like I release a chapter of Untitled on Friday, then I'll release a different story's chapter on a Wednesday or a Tuesday, and then the next Friday I'll have up another chapter of Untitled. I want to make it up to all of my loyal followers for dropping off the face of the Earth once again)
(Also as a heads up, Tiff is actually part virus, when I started this story I was a lot younger and didn't understand these things as well, now that I'm in college getting my Biomedical degree I realized that I did that wrong. I don't know where my old files for the other chapters are so I probably won't be editing those for a while, but yes, she's half virus, not half disease. Also thank you Tobalerone for mentioning it in a review)
Untitled chapter 3 – Osmosis Jones story
Tiff looked into the vault in awe. Her mouth fell open and she reached forward to touch the coat that was hanging inside the vault. It was smooth, very worn down, and soft to the touch. Inside the vault there was a box stashed in the corner, a pile of money and the letter on a shelf, and wrapped up in a tight bundle was what looked to be a belt or a necklace.
She slipped off her own trench coat, pulled her father's coat off of the hanger and holds it up. It's a little long, going down to her ankles. It probably only went to her father's knees. She slid her arm into a sleeve and tried it on. She swam in it, the shoulders were very loose on her, the coat draped down to her feet no problem. She pushed the sleeves up on her arms to make them bunch at her elbows. She looked over at the guard. "This is an interesting thing for my father to have left me…" She muttered. She took off the coat and laid it over her arm. She looked back into the vault at the pile of money. "Are these all for me? Have they been checked if they're marked or contaminated in any way?"
The Warden rubbed the back of his neck, he looked uncomfortable. "Ahhh… no… I don't think anyone has. We don't usually have to check any money that comes into this prison… We normally don't have any problems with it…"
Tiff nodded and reached into her trench coat to grab out a plastic bag. In one sweep of her hand she pushed all of the money off of the shelf and into the bag. "I'll test these once I get back to FDP. I don't want to use it and end up getting any cells sick" She completely ignored the letter from her father.
She grabbed the box on the floor and pulled it out, inside there were pictures of her father and mother, pictures of Ozzy and their mother, and different files on what virus he is and his history. She stared at all of this in shock. "He had all of this stuff on him?"
The warden sighed and shook his head, "No, we found all of this stuff back in his little hideaway. We found him with your mother… It wasn't a pretty sight, it looked like there had been a fight beforehand. We didn't make it in time to stop what happened"
Tiff frowned and nodded. "She was a strong woman… from what Oz has told me. I wish I could have met her once… but instead I have a criminal for a father. At least I've got Oz…" She looked back at one of the pictures of her father and her mother. "They seem like they were a happy couple…"
The Warden shrugged. "I don't know anything about their relationships. I'd say you'd have to ask old Dengue yourself. He doesn't talk about her anymore, when he first got here he was so concerned about her and then one day he just stopped feeling. Stopped showing emotions. It was a very scary day here, all of the inmates were on edge"
She glared at him, "I am not seeing that man, I have no reason to see him, he's nothing more than a criminal and a virus." She stood up and grabbed the rest of the items from the vault, including the letter. "You told me everything had been looked over already, I'm just going to grab everything and leave. Thank you for having me here, but please can you show me to the door. I've got other things to do that are a lot more important than you telling me to go see that virus" She stacked everything up in the box to make it easier to carry.
He nodded and offered to take something. "Alright, it's right through the large door we entered here from and the exit is on the left down the very long hallway. You'll pass by 3 security posts and the last one will let you out through the front door. It was a pleasure to meet you, I hope I never have to see you come here for any other reasons" He locked the vault back up and grabbed the door for her.
Her glare hardened. "I don't plan on coming here again unless I'm bringing a dangerous virus or disease to be put behind bars." She walked quickly out the door and down the long hallway. She got to the last security guards and they let her out. She speed walked to her car and throws everything in the backseat. She growled and ran her clawed fingers through her hair. She took some calming breaths and started her car, she needed to get to the Pits. There was a meeting that was supposed to be starting soon, she wasn't going to miss it for all of Frank. She hit the accelerator and sped off to the Pits.
(Alright everyone, there you go. A brand new chapter just for you all~ And you'll be getting a lot more new chapters before the New Years. Have a great day everyone and thank you all for the reviews!)
