Yuki landed in Japan late in the evening. Tamaki's butler was there to pick her up right on schedule. He took her to the hotel. Apparent the room booked for her wast he best suite in the hotel. Yuki had called them and gave them an earful about spending so much money on her.
"Hoshizora-sama?" Akimoto-san had a key to Yuki's suite. He had politely knocked on the door before entering. Yuki couldn't sleep at all that night, but you could tell Akimoto-san had been prepared for the worse when awaking Yuki up.
"Good morning...I prefer Ikeda Yuki, by the way. Just Yuki, actually..." Yuki muttered, yawning. She was exhausted, but as hard as she tried, she could not fully fall asleep. She was too restless. Her heart kept fluttering. She kept playing the scene over and over in her mind, trying to figure out different ways to handle when she sees Kyoya again. Wait. Can she even get inside the estate? She's a Hoshizora. She'll get murdered for sure.
"My apologies, Yuki-sama." He said, bowing.
"Let's go." Yuki breathed.
In the car, Yuki received a text message from Tamaki with a bunch of random numbers and letters.
"What the hell?" Yuki whispered to herself. Everything was happening so fast. Yuki's throat was closing from exhilaration. She still had no idea what she was supposed to say to him. What was she supposed to do? This is crazy. He's going to get mad at her for being so sudden.
Yuki took deep breaths and tried to remain calm. She was shaking. Partially because on her way there, Yuki had Akimoto-san stop for coffee. Yuki was full of energy now. It was dangerous.
Her fingers were shaking so much that, in fact, Yuki couldn't even dial on her phone. She wanted to call Tamaki and the others, but her fingers fumbled too much. It scared Yuki a little, but she couldn't stop herself.
Finally, they reached the estate. Yuki heaved a heavy sigh, but did not leave the car yet.
"Akimoto-san?" Yuki spoke quietly.
"Yes, Yuki-sama?"
"Thanks for all of your help. I don't know how long I'll be." Yuki said.
"It's my pleasure, Yuki-sama. Suoh-sama has instructed to me to remain with you until you've safely gone on your flight back to Boston." Akimoto-san informed. Yuki nodded.
"And I say, go have breakfast. It's still quite early. Like I said, I don't know how long I'll be. I'll call you when I need to be picked up. Don't wait on me. Go do something fun." His number was punched into Yuki's phone by Tamaki at the airport. Yuki placed a generous tip on the dashboard of the car and finally had the courage to get out of the car.
Yuki knew what she was risking. She knew what was at stake. She knew that she can have a future with him if she reminds him of that. Yuki knew Kyoya well. And she knew that he would put other peoples happiness above his own, and that means that he would go through with the arranged marriage if it would bring merit and prosperity to the Ohtori family and business.
The Ohtori security system was completely different than it was years ago. Yuki didn't know what to do. The codes were different numbers, different letters. Certainly Yuki couldn't request permission to enter the Ohtori estate.
"Wait." Yuki gasped. She whipped out her phone and opened Tamaki's strange text messages. She grinned. He gave her Kyoya's codes. Maybe he's not an idiot after all!
Yuki entered the different codes in at the right time. It not only allowed access, but completely disabled the whole system! Yuki didn't know how it did, but it did! Yoshio is going to be so pissed, but remember, Yuki's running on caffeine. It was such a delight to her that she burst out laughing like a madwoman. She half expected the private police force to come running to take her down. But they didn't.
It was empty. The Ohtori mansion has not changed much since Yuki had stayed there, but nobody was around. Yuki scanned the hallways, on her guard but at the same time trying to contain her energy. It was like she was undercover! A secret spy!
Yuki first checked Kyoya's room. It was spotless and Kyoyaless. Was anybody home?
"Yuuichi, he's our baby brother! You can't let this happen!" Yuki rounded a corner and actually rushed towards the voices. She knew it was Fuyumi. Fuyumi was the big sister Yuki never had. She was almost like a mother figure to her. That's why Yuki got incredibly excited to see her again.
Yuki could hear Yuuichi and Fuyumi bicker like the siblings are. Even though they're grown adults, their sibling arguments still continue from time to time. She rounded another corner to face Fuyumi and Yuuichi, now looking much older than Yuki had seen them years ago.
They had stopped abruptly when they spotted Yuki. It seemed like Fuyumi was following Yuuichi while nagging him about something.
"Who are you?" Yuuichi suddenly asked sternly. He did not look like he was in a good mood in general. Yuki gaped at him.
"What?" She's only met him a handful of times, but c'mon! Not even Fuyumi? Sure, Yuki's hair was longer, wavier, and in a ponytail, she had bigger boobs, and she grew about an inch, but she spent a lot of time with Fuyumi!
"I haven't seen before. What business do you have here? How did you get in here?" Yuuichi demanded.
"Tamaki texted me the codes. Nothing else has changed much from when I lived here last so it wasn't hard getting in. See?" Yuki proudly showed Yuuichi her phone with all of the codes Tamaki had texted her. He narrowed his eyes at her phone.
"Tamaki who?"
"Suoh."
"What is your relationship with him?"
"He's my friend."
"Why'd he give you the codes?"
"So I can get in here."
"What business do you have in here?"
"I have to see Kyoya."
"What business do you have with him?"
"Ah...well...heehee..." Yuki giggled sheepishly to herself as she nervously poked her fingers together.
"Who are you?" Yuuichi repeated.
"Don't you remember me?" Yuki asked the pair. Fuyumi and Yuuichi shook their heads. Yuki threw her hands in the air. "It's me! Yuki! Ikeda Yuki!"
Fuyumi's face immediately lit up with surprise and joy. "Yuki-chan!" She flung herself at Yuki and gave her a big bear hug. "It's great to see you again! I've missed you! You were one of my favorites, you know! I knew you looked familiar! I'm so happy to see you again! What are you doing here?"
A look of realization appeared on Yuuichi's face.
"The Hoshizora rat..." He muttered. Yuki and Fuyumi gasped.
"Is that my nickname here now!?" Yuki cried.
"Kyoya and I told you to never ever call her that!" Fuyumi snapped. The siblings glared at each other.
"It's no big deal, really. I've been called worse." Yuki assured.
"It is a big deal! You aren't some rat!" Fuyumi exclaimed.
"What do you want with Kyoya?" Yuuichi asked.
"You sure ask a lot of questions." Yuki sighed. "I need to talk to him in person."
"He's not here. He's studying abroad in Boston." Fuyumi informed.
"I know, but he came back here."
"No he didn't." Yuuichi stated.
"Yes he did! Tamaki wouldn't send me here for nothing!" Yuki protested.
"He's in Boston, United States, Yuki. I just spoke to him last week. Why would he be here? What are you doing here? I thought you moved to America years ago!" Fuyumi said.
"Isn't it coincidental that you left as soon as we discovered you're the second daughter of Hoshizora Aoi?" Yuuichi asked skeptically. Yuki scowled.
"No! Let me fill you in. Kyoya scammed me years ago. When I found out, I got pissed. That's when Hazuki came to take me with her, revealing that I'm a Hoshizora. I left and we moved to Chicago. I get accepted into Harvard, my dad moves to Boston. I'm in vet school. I'm gonna go on Broadway soon too! Coincidentally, everyone followed Haruhi to Boston with their school, and there's a happy reunion. Things happen and Kyoya had to come back here with Karen and I followed him because I urgently need to speak with him about something important and private."
"You know about Karen?" Fuyumi asked quietly.
"So what if she knows about her?" Yuuichi questioned. Fuyumi shook her head, her besuited eyes turning sad.
"No reason." Yuki reassured quickly.
"I'd like to know this, why was Kyoya so upset after you left?" Yuuichi's direct question threw Yuki completely off guard. He was dead serious, looking at Yuki directly in the eye. Yuki looked over at Fuyumi, who looked surprised at the question as well. Why was he asking such a question? After all these years, Yuuichi asks it now? It obviously had bugged Yuuichi all this time. He must've been really worried about his younger brother. Kyoya must've been in bad shape if people worried worried about him.
"You're asking the wrong person." Yuki replied quietly. "I really don't know. I think you should ask Tamaki. He might know. Suddenly he knows everything and its kinda freaking me out."
"Very well." He hid his disappointment from them. Yuki felt bad she couldn't give a good enough answer.
"But wait." Yuki spoke up. "If Kyoya isn't here, then where the hell is he?"
