Author: HEY GUYS. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS IMPORTANT TOO.
First, this was the second request. This is set a few years after Tamaki and Haruhi's wedding. I'm bad with time math. Hunny and Reiko are the first to get married. That is cannon. Next I have Tamaki and Haruhi getting married. And then Mori's wedding. And then Hikaru's wedding. And the Yuki and Kyoya's. And then Kaoru's wedding. Even though Yuki and Kyoya are a strong couple, Kyoya doesn't want to get married until they are stable financially with his business successful and feels that he can fully support Yuki. Yuki is also a little cautious, even though she does want to marry Kyoya and be his wife forever, she's just a little afraid of ending up like her mom and dad.
THERE WILL BE A PART THREE. I REPEAT. THERE WILL BE A PART THREE. Yes, it is happening! That was another request is part 3! I am working on the rewrite, the actual weddings, random drabbles, and part 3. Part 3 will take place directly after the end of part 2 and it will focus on Yuki and Kyoya's relationship. It will be a lot of random one-shots strung together of their relationship throughout the course of about half a year or so.
However, I am currently working on the request of weddings, which will be separate from part 3. Everything after part 3 is going to be random one-shots of even farther into the future. Or AUs. I've been writing AUs. Lol. Anyway, I'm a little stuck on part 3, so it is at the bottom of my priority list. Sorry! Hopefully I'll get to it during winter break. If anyone has any ideas or requests they'd like to see in just part three, lemme know! I'm still taking requests for anything though! I'm just having a bit of writer's block for part 3.
And yes, part 3 will still be added to this story only. I won't make a separate story. This will just be a really big-ass story, not meant to be read in any particular order. Have any of you actually read every single chapter? I don't expect you guys too. Of course, some chapters might not make much sense if you don't read others.
I should really change the rating of this story to M for lots of reasons. I'll keep it T though. I'll let you know if the specific chapter should be rated M or not. Like this one, there will be f-bombs. Just a heads up!
Again, I will be begging for reviews! I fucking love them! I love reading them! Critique me! Give me stuff to do! Talk to me. I love talking to people. Anyway. Enjoy~
"How awkward would it be for me to show up? Especially in such a dress?" Yuki asked her friends, pulling up her dress higher on her body. She grabbed a jacket and pulled it on.
"You make it sound like," Hikaru began.
"You have a choice." Kaoru finished.
"We're bringing you with us anyway~." The twins sang in unison.
"Don't you guys think its kind of early to have a high school reunion?" Haruhi questioned.
"Do not fret, my darling! It'll be so much fun! We'll get to see all of our old friends and teachers!" Tamaki reminded cheerfully.
"You mean the girls we flirted with." Haruhi said bluntly. Everyone laughed sheepishly.
"Don't you think it'll be awkward because I'm a girl and it's obvious now? Same with Haruhi." Yuki pointed out.
"Don't worry, Yuki-chan! Everyone from high school already knows you're a girl!" Hunny assured.
"What?! How!? When!? Why!?"
"Word got out after you left. It was kind of a surprise, but they were more upset about your sudden departure." Haruhi explained.
"Or I could say I'm Hazuki!"
"You can't run away from everything, Yuki." Haruhi scolded. Yuki rolled her eyes.
"I can try!"
"Do it and we sexually harass you." The twins threatened with devilish grins.
"You rotten twins! Leave my Yuki alone! Kyoya's not here but that doesn't mean you can sexually harass her! In his place, I'll protect her with my life and kick your asses!" Tamaki had grabbed Hikaru and Kaoru by the collars of their shirts.
"It's not even going to be the same without Kyo-chan." Hunny chimed sadly.
"I know. I don't want to go back there without him..." Yuki agreed with a sigh.
"NO! YOU MUST GO!" Everyone snapped at Yuki, who looked startled at their outburst.
"Whoa. Okay. For, like, an hour though. Then I'm coming back. I feel guilty going without him, even though he has work to do."
"Trust me. He really wants you to go." Tamaki winked at Yuki, who gave him a puzzled look. Everyone smiled at Yuki.
"Okay. Fine. Just for an hour, got it?"
"Got it!"
"Now let's go guys."
It was the Ouran High School reunion. Everyone was incredibly dressed up and was in the ballroom for dancing and socializing. Everyone swarmed Yuki. She was so happy to see them again, especially her former regulars. They asked her tons of questions, the most common ones pertaining to her expensive dress.
People asked where Yuki was, why she left, what she did, and what she's doing with her life now. Everyone seemed incredibly shocked to find out that Yuki and Kyoya were going out, and have been for a while now. But they could also sense something between the two of them during club.
Yuki learned that all of her classmates were either being promoted, getting married, or having kids already. Yuki started second guessing herself. She was happy with her life. She was in love, she had a loving family, and she had technically attained fame worldwide. Yuki mostly focused on dance, of course, but she has produced a few albums of music and she has acted in movies. But after listing to the others' stories, should Yuki be more successful in life? Well, you know what they say.
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Except, in this case, it was probably true because the other side of the fence has the money to have a greener lawn.
As the night went on, Yuki found herself enjoying the reunion. She helped herself to the alcohol served, but she was careful not to get drunk. Kyoya would yell at her. However, there were one or two single guys who had hit on Yuki, thinking it was okay because she wasn't with her boyfriend. However, Tamaki and the twins were there to chase them away.
"Hey! Where did Yuki-chan go?" Hunny asked later that evening.
"I thought I saw her over at the open bar..." Haruhi muttered.
"No. I think she followed the rose petals to reminiscent a little." Tamaki smiled.
Which was true. Yuki has snuck away. She couldn't help herself. She had to go back and visit the most memorable room in all of Ouran Academy. Yuki wondered how much it has changed. There were rose petals leading to Music Room Three, but Yuki actually didn't notice them, the oblivious girl she is. No, she was just strolling along, humming and looking around the castle of a school.
Yuki reached the third music room and opened the doors with both of her hands excitedly. She really didn't expect the rose petals to fly past her like they did in high school.
"Did they have it installed or something?" Yuki muttered. And then, she gasped upon entering.
Music Room Three was filled with roses. Roses were Yuki's favorite flower, after all. And they were everywhere, decorating the room. Yuki walked forward in awe. The room was dimly lit by hundreds of small candles, giving it a warm glow. It was beautiful. It took Yuki's breath away.
"Hello, Yuki."
Yuki spun around to face the owner of the voice, none other than Kyoya. He was dressed up like everyone else.
"Kyoya! I thought you had to work."
"I lied."
"Did you do this?" Yuki asked. Kyoya nodded. "Oh my god! Kyoya, it's beautiful! Holy shit!" Yuki was taking in her surroundings. It really was romantic. The roses, the candles. They were placed together so perfectly, so precise. Yuki was completely blown away. She's never been anywhere so beautiful than here. And she was experiencing it with Kyoya. It was because of Kyoya after all!
"So, I take it that you like it?" Kyoya questioned, walking over to Yuki.
"Are you fucking kidding me? I love it! Why would you do such a thing, though? Our anniversary was last week." Yuki pointed out.
"I wanted to talk to you about something." Kyoya replied.
"Yeah? What do you wanna talk about?" Yuki took her boyfriend's hands happily. "Is everything okay?"
"Everything's fine, Yuki." Kyoya reassured. "I love you, you know."
Yuki smiled. "I love you too." She briefly kissed him on the kips.
"Yuki, this is going to come out weird. You know how poor I am when I comes to expressing my feelings and putting them into words." He took a deep breath. Yuki gave him a slightly concerned look. "Listen, do you know how happy you make me? We have our ups and our downs. We fight and we make up. You're stubborn, tough, crazy, you do stupid things without thinking, and you can't keep your mouth shut. But you're so beautiful. You're sweet, strong, courageous, hopeful, passionate. You aren't afraid of what others think. I love watching you help people. You're so talented at that. You're so talented in the arts, Yuki. I love watching you dance, sing, and act. You make me live and enjoy life. You make me feel so...alive. I can only hope that I satisfy you enough."
And then, Kyoya released Yuki's hands. Yuki started to panic. She was so incredibly touched by his words. But was he just easing her into the bad news?
No.
Kyoya next then got down on one knee, and pulled out a small black box from his jacket and opened it to Yuki, revealing a sparkling ring. "Marry me, Yuki. Will you make me the happiest man alive, take my hand in marriage, and be my wife?"
Yuki gasped, her hands going to her face as tears suddenly started to spill out of her cheeks. Holy. Shit.
"Kyoya." She whispered, wide eyed and tried to prevent her throat from closing. She was shellshocked. She was in total disbelief. Yuki grinned. "Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"
Kyoya smiled and slid the ring on Yuki's finger. It was such a beautiful ring. It was platinum with a large heart-shaped diamond in the middle, surrounding by other diamonds. It was dazzling beautifully in the light. The way the diamonds were set and placed together just took Yuki's breath away. The weight of the ring told Yuki that it was real and probably incredibly expensive, but right now, Yuki didn't care. She was so happy.
Yuki collapsed on her knees, but she threw herself around Kyoya. She was crying so hard. Yuki pressed her lips against his, and he returned the kiss with equal amount of love and passion.
"Why are you crying?" Kyoya asked when he broke away to wipe away her tears.
"You idiot! I'm crying because I'm so happy." Yuki answered, grinning like an idiot.
"Oh, thank god. I thought I did something wrong." Yuki laughed.
"No. You're perfect." Yuki said, moving her hands to Kyoya's shoulders and giving them a reassuring squeeze.
"I love you." Kyoya spoke quietly.
"I love you too. Forever." Yuki returned.
"Hi guys." Yuki greeted cheerfully, trying to contain her excitement. She and Kyoya had returned to the ballroom and reunited with the members of the former host club. Yuki's hand was laced with Kyoya's, a perfect fit.
"Hi, Yuki." They returned. Yuki was grinning like an idiot. She was eyeing Kyoya and her radiant ring, but didn't want to say anything yet.
"Well." Hunny spoke up. "Let us see your hand!"
Yuki outstretched her hand. She felt like such a girly girl as she showed off the dazzling ring on her finger.
"Wait a minute! It looks bigger than what you told us!" The twins protested.
"Wait, you knew?!" Yuki gasped.
"Yeah!"
"Kyoya's been planning this for a long time! He planned every little detail out and made sure that it all went smoothly for the perfect proposal. He was actually really naive about it and ended up watching sappy chick flick movies with Hazuki to make sure he did it properly!" Tamaki explained. Yuki laughed. Kyoya glared at Tamaki.
"That's really sweet of you, Kyoya. You didn't have to do all that for me." Yuki smiled and pecked him on the cheek.
"PDA!" The twins teased.
"Says the boys who threatened to sexually harass Yuki." Haruhi muttered.
"I'm sorry. I seemed to have missed that part. What were you two going to do to my fiancé?" Kyoya asked, his glasses gleaming.
"Nothing!"
"May I remind you of the consequences you would receive if you were to touch my fiancé in any way, shape, or form without her consent?" Kyoya spoke darkly as he pushed up his glasses on his nose. The twins were scared away by his evil glare. Kyoya smirked at their reactions as the rest of the group laughed.
"I secretly like it when he calls me his fiancé." Yuki whispered to Haruhi. Haruhi snorted. Yuki felt so giddy. Maybe she was drunk. She wasn't sure. But it didn't matter really anyway. Yuki was engaged. Yuki was fucking engaged to Kyoya, the man who she loves with all of her heart.
