There was a strange noise. Yuki heard it. It rang in her ears. It was like a whining, or like a strange noise of an animal...or like a machine... She had definitely heard that noise before. But the noise was so odd, that the familiarity of it really really scared Yuki.

"Do you guys hear that?" Yuki asked. It was at the end of the day when she was hearing it. She was wiping down the tables as everyone else was packing up to go home.

"Hear what?" Haruhi returned.

"That noise!" Yuki exclaimed. She tried to mimic the sound, but failed miserably.

"You're just going crazy~!" The twins pinched Yuki's cheeks. She smacked their hands away.

"Maybe I am." Yuki was positive the noise ended, but she could still hear it echo in her head. It was strange. It made her heart rate increased incredibly.

"Are you feeling alright? You look pale." Kyoya said. Yuki nodded.

"Fine. Tired, I guess." Yuki assured.

"My poor Yuki dearest! You've been working far too much! Please! Go home and rest up! Go crawl right into bed so you don't get hurt!" Tamaki was hugging Yuki, who glared.

"Maybe she's so tired because she's been up all night giving a little sugar..." The twins teased Yuki and Kyoya. Yuki broke free of Tamaki's grasp and started to hit the carrot tops.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Kyoya-senpai! Call your girlfriend off us!" The twins pleaded.

"I see no problem with the situation." Kyoya responded. The doors suddenly opened in a flourish.

"Sorry, we're not open!"

The members of the Host Club looked astonished of who entered. It was a youngish, kind of middle-aged handsome man with a tall, slim frame, finely boned hands and face, thick brown hair, pale skin scattered with freckles, and large, dark brown eyes. He wore a light brown Duster-type overcoat over a brown suit with blue pinstripes, a light blue shirt, a tie and cream ankle-high Converse All Star shoes. His appearance looked so familiar to Yuki...

"Sorry to intrude! Is this a business you're running? You're running a business in a school? And this is a rich kid school so you must be making a lot of money! Clever!" The man spoke with a British accent, but seemed to speak fluent Japanese.

"How can we help you, my good man!" Tamaki asked. He and the man shook hands enthusiastically.

"Good, firm handshake there!" The man patted Tamaki's shoulder. Tamaki looked rather proud. "Me? Oh, right! Yes, yes. John Smith. I'm John Smith. Hello-yes-sorry! Didn't mean to surprise you, just a bit of a non-routine routine… checkarooni. But no! Truly, there's nothing to worry about. Just a bit of a—inspection, if you will." John replied, flashing open a leather wallet thing containing a piece of paper, proving his identity. Yuki, however, could not see anything. It was blank.

"I'm sure you wouldn't find any problems with Ouran Academy." Kyoya said politely when Yuki was just about to ask him about the paper. John had already withdrew his identification already.

"Hunny-senpai, what did that paper say?" Yuki whispered to Hunny,

"Oh! I forgot about your dyslexia, Yuki-chan. It said John Smith, sent by Board of Education. Certified to properly inspect schools and businesses and stuff." Hunny explained. Yuki looked back at John, who looked in deep thought.

"Ouran...Ouran...wait! This is the Ouran Academy! In Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo, Japan!" He grinned. "I haven't been here in a while! Well, that's not true. I haven't been to this time period in Japan in a while...I still don't know how I wound up here! And I've heard great things about this academy! Great things! Very prestige! Very high-class! A playground for the rich children!"

"You can say that again..." Yuki and Haruhi muttered.

"And this is the Third Music Room. Music room number three! So what is a group of such good-looking students doing in here?" The man questioned.

"We entertain and serve the ladies of this school! This is the Ouran High School Host Club!"

"A host club!" The man repeated. "Oh, then you must make a fortune! But six of you don't need the wealth. The two that do need the money don't get the money because they owe money! Ha!" The man laughed.

"How do you know that? Is he related to you?" Yuki asked Kyoya.

"Not that I'm aware of. Seems more like you than me, just intelligent." Kyoya answered.

"So do you need to run a few routines or something for the inspection? Anything we can do?" Haruhi asked.

"Well," John rubbed his chin in thought. "Since you asked, you can help me look for something! I'm looking for a blue box. It's big and wooden and says 'police call box' across the top."

"Those are no longer around here. They were used years ago, but are long gone by now." Kyoya explained.

"Right. Then this one should stand out!" John said with a cheeky smile.

"But do you need to be somewhere? We can help you find your way around here." Yuki offered. John turned to face her. And then his jaw dropped.

"What? What!?" John cried. "What?!" He swiftly walked over to Yuki, his face full of confusion as he tried to process what he was seeing. John rubbed his eyes and peered at Yuki, who gave him a funny look.

"Can I help you?" Yuki arched an eyebrow.

"Shira...Shirayuki Ikeda-Hoshizora. That's your name, isn't it? Shira Ikeda!" Yuki's jaw dropped.

"Yuki! I go by Ikeda Yuki! Don't call me Shira! Or Shirayuki! It's Yuki!" Yuki snapped bitterly. "How do you know my name if I never told you?" John didn't answer her question.

"Don't you know me?" The Doctor asked. Yuki shook her head. Yuki stared at him with a puzzled look. He blinked, trying to grasp the situation. He was used to receiving funny looks, which is what he was currently getting. He rubbed the back of his head in thought and inhaled through his nose. John let a heavy exhale escape him.

"Right then! Thanks for all of your help! I'll be off!" John made his way to the door. "Keep up the good work! This room and club seem to be running smoothly. I gotta blue box to find and continue inspecting this wonderful establishment!" John waved goodbye and left in such a flourish as he had entered.

"Yuki!" It was the following day. Yuki was at school cutting through the gardens. Someone had grabbed her arm. Yuki spun around to face John Smith.

"Can I help you?" Yuki asked him, pulling her arm free.

"Listen, do you really not know who I am? You don't recognize me?" John questioned her.

"Are you a doctor?" Yuki suddenly blurted. John's face lit up.

"Yes! Yes! Well, actually, I'm the Doctor." The Doctor introduced.

"Doctor? Doctor who?"

"No, no, no. Just the Doctor." The Doctor answered. "What else do you know?"

"You're not really an inspector." Yuki accused.

"An official one by the state? Not in the slightest. I inspect other things though!"

"Your identification paper was blank, but you fooled my friends."

"Very good!" The Doctor congratulated with a proud smile. Yuki rolled her eyes.

"You owe me some answers." Yuki growled. "Why me? Why do I know this when you didn't tell me? Why did you know only my name? Why can only I see your blank paper?"

"Do you have a pocket watch?" The Doctor asked blankly, changing the subject. Yuki groaned.

"Don't change the subject!" She snapped.

"My question was a simple yes or no question. Do you own a pocket watch?" The Doctor repeated.

"Why? What's that got to do with anything? Answer my questions first!" Yuki protested.

"You do." The Doctor stated. Yuki opened her mouth to protest. "You own a silver pocket watch. That pocket watch has strange engravings. You can't remember where you got it. But you're scared of it because it speaks to you. You're avoiding my question, which proves your fears."

"I-I don't have a damn pocket watch!" Yuki stammered.

"You do. I can help you, Yuki. I'm the Doctor. You're scared of it and you ran away from it so you wouldn't be scared. But you don't have to run away from it anymore. I can help you with your secret problem." The Doctor explained calmly. Yuki hesitated.

"How can you help me?"

The Doctor smiled to her kindly. "If we go get your watch, I'll explain on the way." He offered.

"Okay. C'mon. Let's go."

"It's a fob watch. I don't expect you to believe me, but you're not from this universe. You're not human, Yuki. You're an alien like me. I'm a Time Lord. You're a Time Lady." The Doctor began.

"What!? But you look human!" Yuki protested. The Doctor stopped walking. Yuki did too. The Doctor took Yuki's hand and placed it on his chest. Yuki felt his heartbeat. It was kind of irregular to her...but the weird thing was when the Doctor moved her hand across his chest to the other side, where Yuki felt another heartbeat. Two separate, irregular, heartbeats.

Yuki let out a cry and pulled her hand away.

"But I have one heart! I'm human! I'm not a Time thingy!" Yuki protested.

"That's because you ran away. You're very good at that." The Doctor remarked with a serious face. Yuki looked away. He started walking again and Yuki followed. "You turned yourself into a human, which you can do with the proper equipment. In fact, you're not even in the right universe! This is a parallel universe that you slipped into, away from the war. Your fob watch is used to store the Time Lord's memories and original biological information." The Doctor explained. "And we're the last ones."

"No, no, no, no, no! I was born into this world! I'm a human girl!" Yuki screamed.

"Your very existence in this world has altered memories. You were never born, but merely adopted by your parents. Even your memories have been altered." He explained.

"How do you know this?" Yuki asked quietly.

"We were childhood friends on Gallifrey. I thought you didn't make the Last Great Time War, but you did make it. You hid from the Daleks in another universe in a human body so they couldn't find you. Quite clever, if you ask me." The Doctor winked at her.

Yuki walked into her neighborhood park. She walked over to a tree and stood in front of it.

"It's right under here!" Yuki said, jumping up and down on the spot.

"Ah! My TARDIS!" The Doctor rushed past Yuki to the banks of a lake with a blue police call box laying on its side. "I've been looking all over for you!" Yuki snorted when she saw him give it a stroke. The Doctor ignored her and climbed on the edge of the TARDIS. He grabbed the door handles and pulled them open. Steam and smoke spilled out into the open air from inside the box. The Doctor ended up falling in the TARDIS.

"Doctor!" Yuki called, dashing over to the TARDIS. A shovel suddenly flew out of the open doors and landed beside Yuki. The Doctor pulled himself up and poked his head out of the doors. He was laughing.

"Well, at least I found it! I'm not quite sure what's the exactly problem but, ah, that's not important right now!" The Doctor spoke cheerfully. "Could you give me a hand here? I can't really pull myself out."

Yuki gave him a puzzled look as she clasped her hand over his. They gripped each other tightly and Yuki pulled the man out of the blue box. It wasn't easy for her and she ended up pulling him right on top of her, taking them both down into the dirt on the side of the lake.

"Thank you! You're quite strong, aren't you?" The Doctor complimented her. He immediately got up and brushed himself off. Then, he outstretched a hand, which Yuki accepted, and he pulled her to her feet. "Here we go!" The Doctor picked up the shovel. "Wait, I have to ask you something."

"C'mon. Let's dig up this fob watch!" Yuki took the shovel from his hands and went back to the spot in front of the tree. Minutes later, a box was dug up. The contents of the box were perfectly unharmed from being buried. It didn't just contain a pocket watch, but also a knapsack. The Doctor selected the knapsack and opened it.

"Look at this! This is true Time Lord technology!" The Doctor exclaimed, stuffing his hand inside the bag and searching its depths. It was bigger on the inside. "There's all kinds of necessities in here! Probably took this with you went you ran away, didn't you?" No response came from Yuki, but the Doctor didn't notice. He was too preoccupied with her knapsack. "See? It's bigger on the inside!"

The Doctor looked at Yuki. She was gripping the fob watch. The fob watch was open and a golden light came off it. Yuki was staring into the golden light, and the golden light started flowing in her eyes.

"Wait! I wanted to go over some things with you!" The Doctor protested, but it was too late. Yuki has absorbed the light from the fob watch and she suddenly fell sideways. The Doctor reached out and caught her in his arms.

"Yuki!" The Doctor called. Yuki slowly opened her eyes, and blinked. "Are you okay?"

"We got a TARDIS to fix..." She murmured.

"What?" The Doctor asked.

"You're ship is broken, is it not? How else are we going to wander the universe?" Yuki asked.

"How do you feel? What do you know?" The Doctor questioned with a serious face. Yuki got to her feet, out of his arms. She stretched.

"I've missed life. I've been sleeping for so long..." Yuki yawned. "I'm fine, Doctor. I feel as healthy as a horse, actually! I'm back to normal! Numb, but normal. See?" Yuki grabbed the Doctor's hand and pressed it to her chest, similar to what he did before. The Doctor felt a heartbeat. And then Yuki moved his hand over to the other side of her chest to feel the other heartbeat. Two hearts. "Thanks for holding that." Yuki took her knapsack from the Doctor and slung it over her shoulder.

"I didn't really ask if you wanted to be reverted back to your old self..." The Doctor mumbled sheepishly.

"I'm glad I did! I was so done being so stupid all the time." Yuki assured. "C'mon. Your TARDIS is broken. You can fill me in on what I missed out on when I was having my nap."

"Are you going to go back to Gallifrey once we've fixed this up?" Yuki asked as she pushed on a wrench that was locked onto a bolt that she was attempting to loosen.

"Gallifrey is gone."

"What?!" Yuki slipped and fell over, the bolt still on. "What do you mean Gallifrey is gone? It can't be! Not Gallifrey!"

"It's gone. The war..." Yuki did not say anything for a very long time. She didn't do anything either. She just sat there and thought about her home planet...trying to grasp the fact that it is gone forever.

"So does that make us the last two Time Lords?" Yuki questioned finally.

"Yup." The Doctor wasn't looking at her and kept himself busy with repairs. Yuki couldn't simply grasp the concept. She doesn't want to think about the war she ran away from. Her biggest fears were the Daleks. It made her flinch.

"Hello?" The Doctor answered Yuki's cell phone.

"This isn't time for phone calls!" Yuki snapped. "Wait, is that my phone?!"

"Sshh. I'm on a call. The thing wouldn't stop ringing." The Doctor whispered to Yuki.

"Who is it?"

"I can assure you that she is safe in my care. I'll have her returned to you this evening." The Doctor spoke on the phone.

"Doctor, who is it?!" Yuki demanded. She snatched the phone from him and put it to her ear. A whole bunch of voices were yelling on the phone, mainly Tamaki and the twins. Crap. She had completely forgotten about club.

"Hey, guys." Yuki called to them.

"YUUUUKKIIIII!"

And then came a flood of questions.

"Calm down. I'm with my...dad...no, I swear it is...he's just a little sick so he sounds different...look, I'm in the middle of something. I'll be back tomorrow...no, don't put Kyoya on! He's going to yell at me! ...Just tell him I'll see him when I get home...no, don't say that! Tell him I'll see him when I get home!" Yuki let out a sigh. "I'll take to you later. Bye." Yuki heaved a heavy sigh and tossed her phone aside.

"Those boys you hang out with seem very nice." The Doctor remarked. Yuki glared at him. "What are their names, by the way?"

"Suoh Tamaki, four eyes, Hitachiin Hikaru and Kaoru, Haninozuka Mitsukuni, Morinozuka Takashi, and Fujioka Haruhi." Yuki replied as she tried to remove the bolt again.

"Four eyes? Who's four eyes? Is he the handsome man in glasses? I hope you're not making fun of glasses because glasses are important and cool." The Doctor asked. He was currently wearing his glasses while he examined something. Yuki laughed.

"Yes. Sorry. His name is Ohtori Kyoya. That's just my nickname for him." Yuki explained.

"Ohtori Kyoya...Kyoya Ohtori...I've heard that name before..." The Doctor muttered to himself.

"They're all really wealthy and have famous families. Well, except for Haruhi. She's an average middle class citizen like me, or more commonly referred to as a 'commoner' by those damn rich people." Yuki suggested.

"No, that's not it. I've heard all of their surnames, but it's their first names that I remember too. Including Fujioka Haruhi. But I can't quite put a finger on it..." The Doctor protested as he scratched his head in thought. Yuki paused.

"Doctor, how did you know it was me?" Yuki questioned him.

"Well...You look the same as you did when you were a Time Lady. Your eye color is very unique. Nobody else has cerise colored eyes like yours. Your personality hasn't changed much either and you gave off the same hopeful vibe..." The Doctor was thinking of other ways to describe it. "We're childhood friends. I know you so well and I can tell when you're near me."

"And that's why I hated you because you ruined the fun when I tried to sneak up on you." Yuki pouted. The Doctor and Yuki laughed together.

"Those were the good old days, weren't they?" The Doctor said with a wistful smile.

"What have you been doing since the war?" Yuki inquired.

"Traveling in the TARDIS. I don't know how I ended up here, exactly. And it'll take me some time before I can fix this up in all the right places to go back. A bunch of parts are broken beyond repair, so I'll have to get new ones. I hope you don't mind me sticking around. Like you have much of a choice though." The Doctor replied.

"I'm done with this! I've had enough!" Yuki suddenly cried out. She grabbed her knapsack and dug through it. She pulled out a cross-like object and pointed it at the bolt. A light came out from the tip of the cross and blasted the bolt right off cleanly.

"Sonic screwdriver?" The Doctor asked.

"Kind of. I built this myself. It can produce a shield, if needed. It's a handy flashlight. If it's absolutely necessary, it can become a long staff that I can use as a weapon. It can also give me disguises. Not like the Chameleon Arch, but I can change my eye color and hair. I don't use that feature very much. And if I enter in the right coordinates on the side here, it can transport me to places, but not very far places and it takes some time to punch in the right numbers. What is most often is I use this to transport things to me. Small things. Very selective too. Look." Yuki pointed the cross at the control panel of the TARDIS. Two bananas materialized right there. Yuki tossed one to the Doctor, who accepted it.

"That's handy. Very handy. You're a clever girl. Too many features for my liking. I'd end up mixing up. If I wanted to produce a shield, I'll end up accidentally producing a fish or something. Be careful with that." The Doctor warned as he peeled his banana.

"Don't worry. I was going to offer to install some of the features on your sonic screwdriver, but you just said you didn't want them." Yuki offered as she ate her banana.

"No thank you. I appreciate the offer, but I must decline. I'm quite content with my own screwdriver." The Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and turned it on, a blue light glowing from the tip. Yuki giggled.

When Yuki got home, she ended up getting in a fight with Kyoya. He knew Yuki was lying and hated that. Kyoya tried to pry the answers from Yuki, who refused to give him truthful ones. It was quite an ugly fight, actually, because Kyoya was furious. He was so worried about her. He was afraid something bad had happened to her while she went away. Kyoya did notice Yuki acting strangely, but Yuki assured him it was nothing.

Even though the fight wasn't pretty, they made up. Yuki still lied to to hide her Time Lady identify, but she got Kyoya to buy her lies. She was quite amazed with herself, but she felt a pang of guilt.

It wasn't until morning until things started sinking into Yuki. See, the night before she fell asleep on Kyoya's bed again. And the next morning, she was lying in his arms. Yuki had her head rested on Kyoya's chest and hugged his body.

When she opened her eyes, she heard Kyoya's single, steady heartbeat. He only had one heart. To most people, that was surprising enough. Yuki placed a hand on her chest and felt two heartbeats. So it finally sunk in that Yuki wasn't human anymore. Kyoya was a human. Again, surprising for most people. But they couldn't be together anymore. They're two separate species.

Tears already threatened her at the thought of this and immediately got up and went back to her room silently.

That threw off her whole day. Yuki went to school. She planned on seeing the Doctor and helping him with his TARDIS after the host club. But Yuki was so upset. For one thing, she knew all the answers in school today, prompting people to stare at her. She didn't like getting stared at. She felt like they're all staring at her two hearts.

Haruhi kept asking Yuki what was wrong. Even the twins backed off on the pranks on Yuki.

And then at host club, Yuki was pestered with questions if she was okay. All, except for Tamaki who was too oblivious to notice. Eventually, Tamaki caught on and then really got in her face. It was just the members of the host club, though. Yuki put up a tough mask that the girls couldn't break.

Closing time didn't roll around fast enough for Yuki. Everyone looked at her. Yuki could hear and feel her two hearts beat in her chest. She was so sure that they can hear it too. She was so sure the whole world can hear Yuki's two hearts beat. Every human on this planet can hear those two heartbeats and know that Yuki is not a human being. Yuki does not belong on this planet. Yuki is an alien. Yuki is a Time Lady, not a human.

And you know what? Kyoya is a human being. Yuki is an alien. Time Lords are never supposed to love a human. Yuki does. But she can't. She can't be with Kyoya. Time Lords live an incredibly long time. Humans do not. When Kyoya dies, Yuki will still look the same as she did in high school if she never needed to regenerate. He's going to leave her behind. And she will be all alone, as the last Time Lady, who is hopelessly in love.

"Yuki?" Haruhi called. This was when the host club closed and they were cleaning up. Yuki wasn't cleaning up. She wasn't moving. She couldn't look at anyone in the eye. Yuki was too upset.

"EXTERMINATE!" Yuki remembers so vividly. Not just the Daleks were after her, but everything...

"Yuki, what's wrong?" Kyoya asked her. Yuki dared to look up. Her friends and fellow hosts were giving her concerned looks. Yuki saw everything they were, are, and could be in her eyes. She returned to staring at her feet. Kyoya took Yuki's hand. She looked at him, and she saw a look of surprise on his face. He was feeling what she felt now, the earth turning. Yuki immediately yanked her hand away from his. But Kyoya reached out to her again. Yuki suddenly slapped his hand away with such force it made a loud noise.

"Stay away from me." Yuki whispered. The heartbeats rang in her ears. She put a hand over her chest to feel her two hearts.

"Yuki-"

"All of you. Stay away from me. Don't come near me. Don't touch me." Yuki growled in a tone of ice. Yuki suddenly took off. She pushed herself out the doors of Music Room Three and out of Ouran Academy altogether. There was no destination, there was just the instinct to run.

Yuki crashed right into somebody and she collapsed backwards on her butt. That was when the tears that were already threatening started to escape.

"Yuki?" The Doctor asked. He offered her a hand to help her up. Yuki took it and he pulled her to her feet. "What's wrong? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Yuki murmured, wiping her eyes. The Doctor didn't look like he was ready to give up on her yet. "Is your TARDIS fixed yet?"

"Not quite. For one, I need a new piece that will allow me to return to our universe." The Doctor replied.

"Let me check it out." Yuki insisted. She and the Doctor started walking back to the park where the TARDIS was located. Out of habit, Yuki checked her phone to reveal many missed calls and text messages, all from the members of the host club. Yuki sighed and tossed her phone back into her bag.

A shiny black limousine caught Yuki's eyes. It rounded a corner and turned on the street Yuki and the Doctor were on. Yuki's heart rates increased. She was not ready to see them yet. She knew they will demand an explanation from her, but Yuki couldn't explain anything to them yet. Hell, it might not even be them at all. It just could be a normal limousine. But they would be able to track her phone and find her.

"C'mon. You're walking too slow." Yuki grabbed the Doctor's hand and pulled him along. They walked swiftly to the park. Yuki didn't know if she was spotted or not because she didn't look back.

"What are you in a hurry for, anyway?" The Doctor asked curiously.

"Nothing. I just hate slow walkers." Yuki lied as she ushered the Doctor into the TARDIS and closing the door behind them. Yuki dropped her bag and went over to the control panel to examine it.

"Is something the matter, Yuki?" The Doctor questioned.

Yuki ignored his question. "You're right. That part is damaged beyond repair. You'll have to get a completely new one. I don't know where yet, but I'll figure something out. Maybe we can make the part."

The Doctor strode over to Yuki and gripped her shoulders so she could look at him in the eye. "Talk to me. I want to know what's wrong and how I can help. I'm the Doctor, remember? I make things better."

Yuki burst into tears once more, this time crying much harder. Her knees buckled and she slipped from the Doctor's grasp to sit on the floor as she sobbed. The Doctor let her cry and waited for her to talk to him, which she never did. Yuki had made a horrible mistake. She should have ever opened the fob watch.

The Doctor finally crouched down and asked Yuki calmly, "would you like to go somewhere?"

"Where?" Yuki choked out.

"Anywhere you'd like. My treat." The Doctor offered with a kind smile. Yuki looked up at him, and a small, yet sad smile tugged at her lips.

Yuki was laughing as she stumbled out of the TARDIS into the sunlight.

"Doctor, where are we? I said I wanted to go back home!" Yuki called. The Doctor poked his head out of the TARDIS and looked around with a look of thought on his face.

"The time period seems about right...but this is definitely not Tokyo." The Doctor announced.

"No shit, Sherlock?" Yuki grumbled.

"One more adventure never hurt anyone. Just ask somebody where we are. I could've sworn I put Tokyo in the coordinates...something must not be right..." The Doctor retreated back into the TARDIS, closing the door behind him. Yuki sighed and pulled the strap of her knapsack high on her shoulder to secure it.

They were definitely in a city. Yuki guessed America or England, since everything was in English. However, the amount of fast food restaurants told Yuki she might be in America. But which one? Yuki should find that out soon.

Yuki walked along the street on the sidewalk full of busy people. A bus pulled up along the side of the sidewalk to the bus stop, where a crowd of people got off. Yuki took the opportunity and quickly walked up to a man, who was the last to get off.

"Excuse me!" Yuki called as she quickly ran up to him as he walked away from her. Thanks to the TARDIS, Yuki can read English and speak it fluently. Yuki pushed her hand against the man's back and grabbed his arm. The man stopped and turned around. He was in his twenties, an Asian with jet black hair and onyx colored eyes hidden behind his glasses. However, a look of shock spread over his face.

"Sorry." Yuki released his arm. It didn't hit her yet so she just looked at him with curiosity and an eagerness to learn. "I didn't mean to grab like that. I just need a little help here. I'm a real idiot, you see. I'm totally lost. Could you tell me where I am?"

"Yuki?" He gasped. Yuki cocked her head to one side.

"Well, yeah. Do I know you?"

"It's me. Kyoya." Kyoya said. He looked utterly bewildered as he stared at Yuki. Yuki's jaw dropped. And then she burst out laughing.

"No, you're not!" Yuki laughed. "Kyoya Ohtori is sixteen years old! He lives in Japan! I'm, like, 98% sure that I'm in America!"

"No, Yuki. It's been five years. Where the hell have you been for five years?" He demanded. Yuki's jaw dropped.

"What!? Five years!?" Yuki screamed. "But I was supposed to be back...well, five years ago!" Yuki started to hyperventilate. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no..."

"Yuki?" Kyoya called.

"I think I'm gonna pass out." Yuki wheezed. "I need to sit down."

"We're in the middle of a sidewalk. My apartment is up there and you can give me an explanation inside." His tone was icy, Yuki noticed. He must be really pissed at her.

"I'll sit down." Yuki sat down on his leather couch.

"Water?" Kyoya handed Yuki a water bottle, which she gladly accepted and took a drink.

And then she jumped to her feet. "No, I think I'll stand." Yuki started pacing.

"Just tell me what the hell is going on. Five years ago, you ran away and never returned. Nobody knew where you were. I couldn't find you. Your family couldn't find you. And now, you turn up and you look exactly the same as you did five years ago?" Kyoya asked.

"Yes, yes, yes..." Yuki was a real mess. She couldn't wrap her mind around the facts. She was just traveling with the Doctor and went on tons of adventures with him. Maybe five years worth of adventures, but the Doctor said he'll take Yuki back to the day she left. However, Yuki wanted to drive the TARDIS, and the Doctor allowed her because she knew how. Once again, Yuki screwed up. And she screwed up big time.

"Well, I was getting something out of a freezer, but I fell in and I was frozen in time all these years until somebody found me and thawed me out." Yuki replied with a sarcastic tone to hide her distraught.

"Yuki." Kyoya gave her an annoyed expression.

"I only lied because you wouldn't believe the truth." Yuki protested.

"Just tell me, goddammit! You suddenly show up five years later looking fifteen! I'll believe anything by now." Kyoya growled. Yuki looked at him with sad eyes. She had to tell him everything and he was going to reject her.

"I...I..." Yuki was getting all choked up. She didn't know what to say. She was too scared. "I think I'm gonna be sick..." Yuki walked swiftly to the bathroom and locked the door. She thought she was going to be sick because she is such a mess right now, but she didn't vomit or anything. Yuki splashed cold water and slapped her face to get a grip. She stared at her reflection intently for a moment so she can collect herself and prepare herself to face Kyoya.

But Yuki noticed something in Kyoya's bathroom. There were a lot of feminine products. Female shampoo, female conditioner, female makeup, etc. Kyoya did not live in this apartment alone, and he did not live in it with another guy.

Yuki exited the bathroom and reentered the living room. She leaned on the wall of the entrance because she was so emotionally exhausted.

"Are you okay?" Kyoya asked.

"Do I look like I'm okay?" Yuki snapped. "This isn't supposed to happen! I screwed up! I was supposed to go back to the day I left as if I never left! Not five fucking years later!" Yuki sighed, and then glared at him. "So. What's her name?"

"Excuse me?"

Yuki strode over and plopped down on the couch, her gaze very icy towards him. "I asked you what her name is."

"Don't change the subject, Yuki." Kyoya commanded.

"What's she like? Is she pretty? I bet she's real smart. The Yuki you knew was a real idiot, like most humans. And I bet she's blonde. You have a thing for blondes, don't you? I can be blonde too, you know. I have a tool for that." Yuki said bitterly.

"What? What the hell are you talking about, Yuki?" Kyoya demanded.

"That girl that lives here. What a lucky girl she is. I just want to know if she's good enough for you, because I am obviously not. What makes her so special, anyway? Aside from you, what does she have that I don't? Have you forgotten about me? Have you given up on me? Have you two have sex yet? Are you two gonna get married? Or are you just going to lead her on like you did me?"

"Shut up!" Kyoya suddenly barked. "Don't take your anger out on me for something that you did. You left, that's what happened. I used to believe in the saying, 'if you love somebody, set them free. If they love you too, then they'll come back.' I had no idea where you went and I couldn't find you. I waited for you to come back, but you never did. I had to move on. I couldn't keep waiting forever."

Tears welled up in Yuki's eyes. She whispered, "I know. I'm sorry I'm such a screw up. I came back too late." Yuki fell on her side on the couch.

"Just talk to me." Kyoya pleaded.

And suddenly, the apartment door opened in a flourish and the Doctor strode right in.

"Yes, hello! Sorry to barge right in! I lost my friend! And I believe you have her here. I got worried and had to come retrieve her. Big problem. Very urgent." The Doctor greeted. Kyoya immediately got up, put himself between the Doctor and Yuki, to greet his intruder.

"My door was locked. How did you get in?" Kyoya asked. The Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and turned it on.

"Sonic screwdriver. Very sorry. I really am. Lovely apartment, by the way. All I want is my friend and we'll be off. Where is she?" The Doctor replied.

"What business do you have with Yuki?" Kyoya questioned. Yuki let out a loud groan and sat up, allowing herself to be visible to the Doctor and Kyoya.

"Boys! Calm down. Both of you, introduce yourselves and sit down. I'll explain everything." Yuki ordered.

"I'm the Doctor."

"Kyoya Ohtori."

The pair shook hands. And then a look of realization came across the Doctor's face.

"Kyoya Ohtori? As in the Kyoya Ohtori?!" The Doctor gasped.

"Is there another?" Yuki grumbled.

"I think you are recalling my father, Yoshio Ohtori, of the Ohtori Group." Kyoya said.

"Well, yes, I knew that already. But I'm talking about you! You're the Kyoya Ohtori! You're a brilliant man! Brilliant! CEO of his own company and was on the top ten list of wealthiest men in the world for five years in a row! Three of them, number one! You're a brilliant man, and I'm so happy to have met you!" The Doctor explained enthusiastically.

"Excuse me?" Kyoya arched an eyebrow.

"Doctor!" Yuki snapped.

"Oh. Right. Sorry. I really shouldn't have said anything. I think I just gave him the idea to start up his own company. Oh, well. Moving on. Yuki looks like she wants to say something." The Doctor sat down next to Yuki on the couch while Kyoya sat across from them in a chair.

"Kyoya, you met the Doctor before." Yuki announced. "Yesterday. Well, crap. Yesterday, five years ago. He came into the club room. He was looking for his TARDIS, and he went by the name of John Smith. He was the school's inspector, but not really. He lied so he could find his TARDIS. And his name is the Doctor, not John Smith. It was a fake name too."

"What is a TARDIS?" Kyoya asked.

"Time and Relative Dimensions in Space." Yuki and the Doctor replied in perfect unison. Yuki giggled.

"Would you like to continue?" Yuki questioned the Doctor.

"No, no. Go right on ahead. You're doing a fine job." The Doctor reassured as he leaned back. Yuki turned back to Kyoya.

"The Doctor is a Time Lord. He's an alien. He is from a planet far away called Gallifrey. Gallifrey was destroyed after the Last Great Time War. The Doctor travels in his TARDIS, the blue police call box. It's a spaceship that can take him anywhere. He can time travel with it too."

"An alien, you say? He looks like a normal human being to me." Kyoya pointed out.

"Time Lords look like humans. I'm 903 years old and I have two hearts." The Doctor answered.

"Anyway, I went traveling with him as his companion, and the one time he lets me fly it home, I land five years later than I wanted to." Yuki paused. "Kyoya, the Doctor is not the last of the Time Lords. And it wouldn't matter how long I traveled with the Doctor. I could travel with him for millions of years, and I would still be alive. I'd look like this if I didn't have to regenerate."

"What?"

"I'm a Time Lady, Kyoya. I'm an alien. I'm from Gallifrey. I'm not even from this universe. I'm from a different one. I ran from the Last Great Time War and slipped into this universe." Yuki explained, her voice cracking a little. She was waiting for a response, the most horrible response she could think of, but Kyoya didn't say anything. He was studying her.

"You're a human. I've checked your pulse before." Kyoya finally protested. Yuki shook her head. She got up and then sat back down on the coffee table between the couch and chair. She sat down in front of Kyoya. She took Kyoya's hand, and placed it over her heart so he can feel her steady heartbeat. Kyoya was about to say something when Yuki held her free hand up to silence him. Slowly, Yuki moved Kyoya's hand to the other side of her chest, so he can feel the second heartbeat.

"I used a device that changed my biological make up so I could transform into a human so I could hide from the Daleks. My Time Lady self was put in a fob watch and my human self buried it. And then she dug it back up. She opened it, and now I'm back to normal." Yuki explained as she removed Kyoya's hand from her chest. However, she gripped his hand tightly. Kyoya's eyes suddenly widened. "You feel it, don't you? You feel what I feel. You can feel the earth turn on its axis."

"How?"

"It's what Time Lords can do, I guess. This is what we feel. And you can feel it too as I transmit it to you. Don't worry," Yuki released his hands. "You can't feel it anymore if I'm not holding your hands." Yuki then took her seat back beside the Doctor.

"Is it my turn now?" The Doctor asked cheerfully.

"I'll pass." Yuki and the Doctor laughed together.

"What about your family?" Kyoya inquired.

"Mine? Gone." The Doctor answered.

"I think he was talking to me about Akane, Aoi, Daichi, Michio! and Hazuki." Yuki spoke up. "When I came to this universe, it was changed around. Wibbly-wobbly, timey-whimey."

"Aliens." Kyoya said. Yuki and the Doctor nodded. "From a different planet."

"Gallifrey." Yuki and the Doctor chimed up.

"And Gallifrey is destroyed. What about the rest of your species?" Kyoya questioned.

"All gone." Yuki and the Doctor responded. She drank some water to lower her heart rates.

"So...if you're the last Time Lord," Kyoya said to the Doctor. "And you're the last Time Lady," Kyoya looked at Yuki. "Does that mean you to are going to...repopulate your species?"

Yuki suddenly had a spit take with her water that she was drinking, spitting it out of sheer surprise. The Doctor burst out laughing as Yuki struggled to breathe. She was choking and recovery from the sudden question.

"Well," the Doctor teased. He chuckled. "Certainly worried about her, aren't you?" The Doctor chuckled. "But no. She has no interest in me like that at all. Or to anything that we've encountered on our travels. No, no. I think her hearts already belonged to someone else."

"Who?" Kyoya demanded from Yuki.

"Well," The Doctor began cautiously. "You don't know him. He's another Time Lord, who did not make it through the Last Great Time War. But I think we should change the subject-"

"Stop it. I don't care if we talk about that. I know he is long gone. I've accepted his death a long time ago." Yuki cut in.

"You had a boyfriend before me?" Kyoya suddenly asked.

"I'm nine hundred years old, Kyoya!" Yuki snapped. "You don't think I'll have a boyfriend or two? Or even a husband, maybe? Do you think I looked like this the whole time? Time goes on, and I move on! You're going to grow old anyway in...how many years? How old are you?" Yuki drank some more water.

"I'm twenty-one." Yuki spat out her water again and started choking.

"No, you're not!" Yuki cried. "You're sixteen years old! You're sixteen!"

"I was sixteen five years ago. I'm twenty-one, Yuki." Kyoya stated firmly.

"Fine! You're sixteen and three quarters!" Kyoya scowled at Yuki. "You're going to die in sixty years anyway. The Japanese do have the longest life expectancies out of all the human race, but that's because Japan is the first and leading country in stage five of the demographic transition model. Me? It's going to take a very, very, very long time for me to die of old age. I don't age. I regenerate. You? You're going to wither and die, Kyoya! You're going to wither and die in sixty years, if you're lucky. I can spend the rest of your life with you, but I can't spend the rest of mine with you."

"Very long time." The Doctor chimed in. "But I'd like to ask you something Yuki. If it isn't...you know...him that you love..." Him referring to Yuki's ex Time Lord boyfriend from Gallifrey. "Then who is it?" The Doctor asked Yuki.

"That isn't of importance." Yuki quickly stared at her feet and nervously twirled a strand of her hair.

"Aw, c'mon! Who's the lucky fellow, eh? Is it Jack? He was flirting with you! I saw it!" The Doctor nudged Yuki.

"Who's Jack?" Kyoya inquired.

"A friend of mine who travelled with us very briefly. He flirts with everybody." Yuki said quickly to Kyoya before returning to the pestering Doctor. "I can't tell you, Doctor!" Yuki snapped. The Doctor thought for a moment.

"You fell for a human, didn't you?" He suddenly asked. Yuki did not respond. "A human? A human!? How could you fall for a human! You cannot fall in love with a human! That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard a Time Lord do!"

"This is why I didn't tell you! I'd get a lecture from you!" Yuki shouted.

"Who is it?" Kyoya suddenly cut in.

"Like it matters to you. You got a girlfriend that lives here. You're probably sleeping with her. You're probably gonna get married! She's probably smart and pretty and blonde! You have thing for blondes, don't you? Swooped right in after I left, didn't you?" Yuki started crying. "You probably forgot about me too...forgot all about me. Well, I hope your food tasted like utter crap after I left!"

"What's going on with you, Yuki?" The Doctor asked her. "You're acting all jealous. Why would you be?" And then it finally registered in he Doctor's head. "Oh. Oh. Oh. I...I get it now..."

"Well? I'm waiting for it! Go on! Tell me how stupid I am. Tell me how bad humans can be. Tell me how Time Lords are so much better! Tell me, Doctor. Tell me! Tell me like you understand my pain, regret, remorse, and despair!" Yuki yelled at him.

"It's something you're going to get used to." The Doctor informed, referring to the pain and sadness. Yuki looked downwards, and then closed her eyes.

"I think I should go." Yuki announced.

"Go where?" Kyoya questioned her.

"Away."

"Don't, Yuki. Not so soon." Kyoya pleaded softly. Yuki opened her eyes and looked at Kyoya.

"Oh! That reminds me! Why I came here!" The Doctor suddenly blurted. "Big problem. Very big problem. Very urgent. Yuki and I have to go now."

"Where are you taking her? Does she even want to go with you?" Kyoya asked the Doctor.

"What's wrong, Doctor?" Yuki inquired.

"Family of Blood. We've been found."

Yuki paled. She stilled and her eyes filled with fear.

"Yuki, are you okay? What's wrong?" Kyoya demanded from her.

"I...I need to go..." Yuki told him.

"Don't worry! We'll be just fine. But we must go. Otherwise, all three of our lives will be in danger. If we leave, it will just be Yuki's and mine that's in danger. However, the Family of Blood have already claimed six victims, Yuki. And you must know that they're-"

A knock on the door, startling everyone. The Doctor looked at Yuki and Kyoya rose.

"That's them." The Doctor announced.

"I'll...I'll handle it..." Yuki decided shakily. She got to her feet, and she was shaking.

"Care to explain?" Kyoya asked Yuki.

"Just stay away from me." Yuki hissed. Yuki reached into her knapsack and pulled out her sonic cross, prepared to strike if needed. She slowly approached the door until she finally whipped it open. Standing on the other side of the door was Yuki's family-the rest of the host club-Tamaki, Haruhi, Hikaru, Kaoru, Hunny, and Mori. They were all older, five years older, obviously in college like Kyoya. And their faces were blank.

"Guys!" Yuki gasped her arm falling to her side. The Doctor was suddenly beside Yuki and slammed the door shut. He had his sonic screwdriver out and he pointed it at the door, sealing it.

"What are you doing, Doctor? Those are our friends." Kyoya questioned.

"Those are not your friends. That's the Family of Blood." The Doctor replied.

"They're not really my friends?" Yuki squeaked.

"Yes. They must know that you're their old friend and are trying to get to us. We need to leave. Fast."

Yuki started hyperventilating. Her life was falling apart. Completely and utterly falling apart because she screwed up one time.

"I need to lie down..." Yuki wandered and paced until she eventually vanished in Kyoya's bedroom.

"What the hell is going on?" Kyoya growled.

"The Family of Blood are hunters. They want Time Lords so they can steal our near-immortality. They possessed your friends because they need hosts and they are closest to Yuki, who is the only one currently closest to me." The Doctor explained.

"Kyoya! It's us! Did we just see Yuki? Is there a pair of Time Lords you're hiding from us?" Tamaki called from the other side of the door, knocking on it once more.

"He sounds like the same person." Kyoya pointed out.

"That's not Tamaki Suoh anymore, Kyoya. They're going to kill you now because of us." The Doctor informed. There was a scream from the bedroom and Yuki rushed out.

"Her clothes are in there!" Yuki wailed.

"Of course, dumbass. She lives here." Kyoya grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Yeah, I get that. But she has a bigger bra size than me! That's not okay!" Yuki protested. "What are they all doing here anyway?"

"We followed Haruhi to America on a school program." Kyoya informed.

"Because you're secretly in love with her? Is she the one who lives here?" Yuki demanded.

"No! Yuki, don't change the subject back on me!"

There was poundings and calls from the other side of the door. "I'm going to die. You're going to die. We're all going to die." Yuki said pessimistically.

"No, we're not! I'm not letting a single person lose their life anymore!" The Doctor declared. "I have a plan. You're already involved Kyoya, so you might as well help."

"How can I help?" Kyoya offered. The Doctor looked at Yuki, who immediately understood like they were communicating silently.

"You're going to have to do something very, very, very unlike yourself, Kyoya." Yuki warned. "You're going to have to play dumb."

Yuki and the Doctor shared their sort of plan with Kyoya. It wasn't much of a plan, really. They were going to mock injure Kyoya to make him look like a victim, while Yuki and the Doctor flee to the TARDIS. The Family of Blood will not kill Kyoya, they know, because he has valuable information to offer.

It had worked, and Kyoya was taken to their ship. He was kind of imprisoned. He sat in a chair in the middle of the control room, his pockets cleaned out, and his jacket and shoes removed. And they took his glasses as well.

"What should we do with him, Father of Mine?" Hikaru asked Tamaki.

"He is the smartest one of the group. He does share the most memories of the Time Lady. Those memories are too valuable to tamper with. We cannot risk using him as a host. We've already lost so many when we took these bodies." Tamaki replied. "You're going to help us, Kyoya Ohtori. We will see to it that you will see eye to eye with us and join our cause. Don't worry. Your efforts will not go unrewarded if we are successful. You'll have a piece of the immortality yourself. Is that offer enough for you to assist us? There are certainly other ways of persuasion."

"That reward is a nice touch, I must say. But, to be honest, all I want is them dead." Kyoya said smoothly. His reply startled the group. They expected resistance.

"Oh? Why are you filled with such hatred?" Tamaki questioned him.

"The Doctor took away my girlfriend. I loved Yuki. I loved her more than anyone in this universe. But the Doctor took her away. It wasn't until recently that they gave me the reality: Yuki ran away with him. She never loved me. She did not say if she held romantic feelings for the Doctor, but she chooses him over me. After all I've done. After all those years of waiting for her endlessly as she ran around with him, forgetting about me. I want my revenge."

The Family of Blood smirked.

"Poor thing. Used and forgotten, like a child's toy." Haruhi said to him.

"They knew you were coming after them. The Doctor and Yuki were using me as a coverup to their scent, I suppose. They were pretending like everything is okay as if the past five years never happened, but at the same time, they were telling me the truth. And they were laughing about it like I was some kind of joke to them. I was treated like a child's toy." Kyoya went on. "And then you showed up, and they begged and they begged me. They begged me to help them escape. I didn't understand the situation, and the Doctor and Yuki did not like that. They assumed you would just kill me off and so they left."

"Kill you off?" Hunny inquired. The Family of Blood laughed.

"Why would we ever do that? You're much too valuable." Tamaki assured.

"I've figured out the situation after listening to your cause. It sounds very important. I'd like to assist you as much as I can." Kyoya stated. Tamaki's mouth twisted into a wicked smile that sent chills down Kyoya's spine.

"Good. Very good, Kyoya. That saves us a lot of time and effort of persuasion. The Doctor and his companion, the Time Lady Yuki, know that we are using her friends as hosts. They must think you're stupid, don't they? Because you are just a mere human and they abandoned you. But if you just keep going on with the dumb act, you might be able to trick them into capture with their guards down." Tamaki proposed. Kyoya smiled devilishly.

"That sounds like a nice plan."

The rest of the Family of Blood chimed in agreements with Tamaki, the "Father of Mine."

"Then it's settled." Tamaki declared.

"One more thing," Kyoya cut in. "I'd just like to know, how does your ship work? I'm sure it's remarkable technology. Far more advanced than the human race. I am just a mere human, and if this operation is to be successful, I must be fully prepared. I must know well what I am doing. Details are important to me. Otherwise, this plan will fail."

Silence settled in. The Family of Blood is in thought.

"I suppose you have a point. You will have to bring the Time Lords here. You should know what you're doing." Tamaki agreed. "We'll give you a tour. But I am very eager for this operation to start."

"As am I." Kyoya said with a smirk.

"Come along then."

The Family of Blood did not give Kyoya his glasses back when they started the tour. Kyoya assured them that they were not necessary-only to see things far away. The Family of Blood was unsure if this was a lie because of how clumsy Kyoya was. They even returned his glasses and he was still incredibly clumsy, knocking things over, hitting things, accidentally moving things. It was a long tour. Kyoya was picking up on things and how they worked rather quickly though.

It was when they were all gathered in the control room that they heard the familiar whine of the TARDIS. It was distant. The Family of Blood rushed to a screen displaying the cameras aboard the ship. And then they all smiled.

"Looks like the Doctor and his TARDIS is here! You've already been very useful, Kyoya. Excellent bait." Tamaki patted Kyoya's shoulder. "Let's move out, Family of Mine! We must capture them!"

The Family of Blood rushed out to where the TARDIS was located, which was in one of the long corridors. Kyoya was unsure of what to do. They did not get far in the plan much at all. He was told to wait for Yuki to come save him, and she did. But where was she, exactly? She must've known that they were going to be captured once they board the ship.

Kyoya decided to go find Yuki and the Doctor. As he was leaving the control room, he ran into someone. It was Yuki, who, as usual, fell back from slamming into him.

"Kyoya!" Yuki cried as she jumped to her feet. "Five years later and you still do that to me! And it's even worse now that you're freaking taller! Anyway, are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

"I'm perfectly fine. The Family of Blood just went to your ship. You didn't cross paths?"

"Oh, I'm covering up my scent a little bit. Just barely slipped away to come get them. The Doctor is handling it." Yuki explained. "Listen, I'm sorry about putting you on the spot like that. We couldn't think of another plan and we couldn't think of more to add to it. What did you do?"

"I winged it, as always." Kyoya winked at Yuki. She smiled at him. "I pretended I wanted to join their cause and convinced them of how useful I am. I persuaded them to give me a tour, and I acted like a klutz and sabotaged the whole ship. I'm not sure what exactly I did, though..."

Yuki went over to the control panel of the ship and started typing. And then her answer came up on the screen.

"You set it to self-destruct. We've only got about five minutes before this ship blows up. Well done, Kyoya!" Yuki was so happy that she suddenly grabbed Kyoya's face and kissed him. She suddenly realized what she had done and immediately pulled away. "I owe you my life! Thank you!"

"You owe me a lot of things."

"Shut up." Yuki grabbed Kyoya's hand and pulled him to where the TARDIS is.

Smoke started to fill the ship from Kyoya's sabotage. There were small explosions and fires. Yuki hurried Kyoya along. They finally reached the TARDIS, but there was no Family of Blood trying to get into it. They were gone. Yuki used her key to enter the TARDIS, only to find it empty.

"The Doctor said he'd wait here so he can take us back to Earth. Where is he?" Yuki asked as she and Kyoya looked around.

"It's bigger on the inside." Kyoya remarked, struck by the Time Lord's ship. He gazed at the new alien technology in amazement and disbelief.

"Time Lord's signature technology. My bag is filled with enough stuff to keep a group of ten alive for months, even years." Yuki explained. She checked the control panel in the center of the TARDIS. "He has the coordinates set for us to take off. He didn't leave me a message at all. Where the hell could he be?"

The Family of Blood was scrambling around trying to stop their ship from exploding. They were all gathered in the control once more to fix the problem, only to find the Doctor standing in the entrance.

"Doctor! Please, you must save us!" The Family of Blood pleaded.

"Your hosts. Could you leave their bodies?" The Doctor asked, changing the subject.

"It is possible." Kaoru answered.

"We can always find new hosts before our death comes." Hikaru added.

"And what would happen to your former hosts? If you left their bodies, would their lives would return to normal with no memories of you being inside them?" The Doctor went on, even though he already knew the answer.

"No. We kill our hosts so we can use them." Mori replied. "They're already dead. We use their memories, but most of the memories are obliterated because of us entering their bodies and using them as hosts."

"I see. There's no way of saving Yuki's family?"

"You can stop our ship from self-destructing." Tamaki responded. "You can save us."

"I can do a lot of things to you. You're better off dead. If you survive this, well, your lifespan is almost up anyway. You're going to die sooner or later, and I'm just giving it to you easy. I'm showing you mercy. You killed Yuki's family, and I cannot let that go unpunished." The Doctor looked so serious and angry that it was scary. He then turned around and went back to his TARDIS. He ran from them because the ship was going to blow up in a matter of seconds. He ignored their pleas of taking them with him and ran straight for the TARDIS.

The Doctor was relieved to find Yuki and Kyoya in there already, trying to figure out where he was.

"Where were you?" Yuki demanded.

"Had to have a little chat before we left. It's only proper to say farewell to someone who's trying to kill you. Oh, and I had to retrieve this for you." The Doctor said cheerfully as he tossed Kyoya his shoes and jacket. The Doctor started to fly the TARDIS. "Allons-y!" The TARDIS disappeared from the Family of Blood's ship and flew to the Earth, landing in a park in the city.

The three walked out of the TARDIS. It was late at night, but then they saw a brightness in the night sky. It was the ship blowing up.

Yuki smiled and turned towards the Doctor. "So. Where's the real Tamaki and everyone? Are they alright?"

The Doctor looked caught off guard by her question. And then he looked really sad, like a parent about to explain to their child why their pet "ran away."

"Yuki, the Family of Blood need hosts to travel in." The Doctor explained. "And they must kill the host in order to live inside them."

Yuki's face paled and she stilled. "You're lying."

"I thought you knew."

"I thought they just made copies out of plastic or something!" Yuki suddenly snapped. She started crying. "Doctor! They're dead? All of them? Tamaki...Haruhi...Hikaru...Kaoru...Hunny...and Mori...they're all dead! We killed them!"

"They were already dead when the Family of Blood used them. We only killed the Family of Blood, not your friends." The Doctor explained softly. Yuki covered her mouth as tears flower freely down her cheeks. She looked over to Kyoya. He was not moving. His face was hard and dark, casted downwards.

"No...no!" Yuki screamed. "It can't be...they can't be dead! They never did anything wrong! They're so young...they have such bright futures ahead of them..they're good and pure! They didn't deserve this!" Yuki sobbed. "This...this is all my fault..." Yuki hung her head in sorrow, the tears dripping onto the grass.

"No, Yuki. It's not." Kyoya reassured slowly. His voice sounded shaky, which scared Yuki. Kyoya hugged Yuki. "I don't blame you for anything. It was them. It was the Family of Blood that killed them, not you. It couldn't have been prevented." And then he whispered something in Yuki's ear.

Yuki's head suddenly snapped up. She looked like she just came up with a brilliant idea. She rushed inside the TARDIS. Yuki came out, only to pull the Doctor inside. And then she came out again to stand in front of Kyoya.

"Are you leaving?" Kyoya asked her.

"Yes. There's something I have to do." Yuki replied. Then, Yuki grabbed the collar of Kyoya's jacket and pressed her lips against his. They shared a passionate kiss for a moment, before Yuki pulled away. "I'll see you later." Yuki said quietly.

Yuki walked back inside the TARDIS and closed the door shut. The Doctor was waiting for her, more specifically, an answer. Yuki instead walked swiftly past him and to the control panel.

"What are you doing?" The Doctor questioned.

"Something I should've done a long time ago."

The day that Yuki had landed was her first day of school of Ouran Academy. And Time Lady Yuki went to her house and stopped her past self from going to school that day, changing history. Because of the shift, Yuki's Time Lady self replaced her past self. But the human being, Ikeda Yuki, does not exist anymore. She does not attend Ouran Academy. She does not break the vase. She does not meet the host club at all. That meeting is erased.

However, Yuki still went to Ouran Academy. The sudden shift caused it to pour rain. Yuki was drenched as she walked purposely through the halls of the castle-like school. She had one goal, and it was killing her. It had to be done. It's what is right. Yuki doesn't belong here. She was just an add-on.

Finally, she was there. Yuki stood before the doors of Music Room Three. She had one mission. And very slowly, Yuki opened those doors. She embraced the rose petals that flew past her, for she's missed them so and will always miss them. It is the last time she will ever see them.

"Excuse me, princess, but we are not open quite yet." Kyoya greeted Yuki. All of the hosts stopped what they were doing and turned to face Yuki. Yuki examined all of their faces, taking in everyday detail as if it was the last time she will ever see them again. She doesn't want to forget a single detail.

"I'll be quick." Yuki said to Kyoya. "There's something I gotta say to you guys." The tears were already threatening. "Tell me, do you know me?"

"Are you a student here?" Haruhi asked Yuki. Yuki shook her head. The hosts also shook their heads.

"I'm afraid not. What's your name, princess?" Tamaki looked at her with concerned eyes. Yuki's eyes were brimming with tears.

"My name...my name is not important..." Yuki whispered. And then she spoke up louder, "Listen to me...You guys...all of you...Tamaki-senpai, Hikaru, Kaoru, Haruhi, Hunny-senpai, Mori-senpai, and you, Kyoya..." Yuki was getting all choke up. "You need to know something...I love you...I love all of you! Every one of you! You guys were my family to me..." Yuki let her tears flow freely. "You're my family...and I don't want to lose you...but you don't remember me...and that's okay...This is how it has to be..." Yuki smiled, but it was small and sad. "There's an old saying...if you love someone, let them go. If they love you back, then they'll return..."

The host club did not know how to respond to Yuki.

"I just..." Yuki hiccuped. "I just love you guys!" She sobbed. "I'm going to miss you..You guys are amazing! Even if some of you are jackasses or idiots...I love you all...the things you do are so wonderful...you give hope. You make everyone happy...you all are so truly wonderful..." She wishes they would say something, anything at all. But they didn't. It was very awkward for a random girl to come in and say such things to them. But Yuki was starting to give up on them. She probably already has.

"I'm sorry...this is all incredibly awkward for you guys, isn't it? I'm sorry I've caused you guys so much trouble...but at least you know...that's all I've wanted. All I ever wanted was for you guys to know how important you are, each and every one of you. I love you all so dearly..." Yuki cried. "You're my family...but what am I to you? Just a girl. Just a strange girl who looks like a boy. And I'm sorry this doesn't make any sense. This is just so out of the blue...but you know my feelings are now. I love you. Don't change. Ever."

And here it came. The final word Yuki did not want to utter. It was getting caught in her throat. She was sobbing so hard in the silent music room.

"I have to go now. I just came here to tell you that so you know how much you are loved and cherished...and by me more than anyone else..." Yuki wanted to touch them one last time. She wanted to hug them. She wanted to kiss Kyoya one last time. But she didn't. Yuki did not move, and they didn't move. They were watching her carefully. Oh, how she wished they would say something to her. She wished that they remembered her, even though she made them forget. "Goodbye."

Yuki finally mustered up the strength to leave.

"Wait!" Tamaki called. The host club scrambled to follow Yuki out of the room, but when they entered the hallway, Yuki was gone.

Yuki burst through the doors of the TARDIS, still crying. The Doctor was waiting for her. Yuki slammed the doors shut as hard as she could. Then, she leaned against the doors and slowly slunk down. She hugged her knees and cried harder than she's ever cried before. She just sat there, leaning against the door, and bawled like a baby. She buried her face in her arms and knees.

In the hallway, the host club looked for the strange crying girl.

"Hey look," Hunny said. He was standing in front of a window. "It's snowing."

The host club gathered to look out the window to watch the snow fall.

"Wasn't it just raining?" Hikaru asked. No one answered. They just watched the snow fall softly as silence settled itself in.

"Senpai, why are you crying?" Haruhi's question startled everyone. She was looking up at Tamaki, who had tears spilling out of his eyes.

"Hikaru...what's wrong?" Kaoru questioned Hikaru, who also had tears coming out of his eyes.

"Shut up! I'm fine...you're crying too, you know! All of you are!" Hikaru snapped. It was true. Haruhi looked over at Hunny and Mori. Tears were streaming down their cheeks. Haruhi then turned to look at Kyoya. His face was darkened and casted downwards, but Haruhi could notice he was crying too. Then, Haruhi touched her cheeks, and they felt wet with tears. She wiped her eyes and looked at the tears that got on her hands.

"Why are we all crying?" Tamaki asked. It was strange seeing him being other than serious.

"Did that chic do something to us?" Hikaru demanded as he wiped his eyes. However, more tears spilled out of them.

"I just feel really sad right now all of a sudden..." Hunny said softly, hugging his Usa-chan tightly.

"Ah." Mori agreed quietly.

"I feel like I'm forgetting something important..." Kaoru chimed in.

"You know what I think? I think we're missing something. Something-someone very important." Tamaki stated. "I wish she told us her name..."

"Doesn't anyone know who she is?" Hikaru questioned.

"No."

There was a pause. The only person who hasn't spoken is Kyoya. He wasn't moving. Everyone else didn't seem to notice. They kept sniffling and wiping their eyes as the snow fell so gently outside.

"Yuki." Kyoya whispered.

"Hm? What was that, senpai?" Haruhi asked Kyoya. Kyoya shook his head, removed his glasses, and wiped his eyes.

"Nothing. I can't think straight now. I have a headache, and for once, it's not because of you idiots." Kyoya replied.

"Hey!" Tamaki and the twins snapped.

"I...I want to see that girl again..." Hunny suddenly announced.

"We will." Tamaki assured. Everyone looked at home.

"How do you know that? We don't even know who she is." Haruhi pointed out.

"We met under this sky." Tamaki replied with a smile through his tears. "So that means that she's definitely under this sky! And that is the case, then we will most definitely meet again under this sky!"

No one knew how to respond to that.

Kyoya finally spoke up and said, "Go to sleep before you start dreaming."

"Yuki..." The Doctor stepped down the steps towards the crying Yuki.

"Just take me away. I don't belong here. I never belonged here." Yuki choked out. The Doctor stared at his friend with sad eyes. He hated seeing how upset and sad she was. It was killing him. He understands the pain she's going through and there was nothing he could do to make her feel better. She had told him her plan as she flew the TARDIS and she had told him that when she got back, no matter what take her far away. After landing the TARDIS, Yuki built a part so the Doctor could return to his universe right away. The thing is, he could never return. This was his only chance to cross the void.

"If it's time to go, remember what you're leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me." The Doctor said to Yuki. He began to fly the TARDIS once more without another word. The only sound came from the TARDIS and from Yuki's sobbing. And then the TARDIS vanished, disappearing from the Ouran universe altogether.

The host club never met Ikeda Yuki. Ikeda Yuki was erased from their memories. Yuki had stopped herself from meeting with them and sharing memories with them. Only Yuki will remember and cherish those memories so.

They will never remember Yuki. Kyoya remembered the name of Yuki. But just Yuki. Not Shirayuki. Not Ikeda Yuki. Not Hoshizora Yuki. Not Hoshizora-Ikeda Yuki. Just Yuki. And it was only for an instant. It was soon forgotten.

Yuki is forgotten. The host club would never forget the girl who expressed her feelings to them all, but they will never know who she was. As time went on as it was supposed canonically throughout the course of the manga, the encounter was forgotten as well. It was her words that they could remember. Not the actual person who spoke them.

The Ouran universe was in balance. Time went on as it was supposed to. Without Yuki. Just a host club, who remained together until the end. Sometimes, though, there would be rare occurrences where they'd find themselves crying for no reason, or they'd unexpectedly felt sad and alone. But the feeling never lasted.

All companions received a title. Yuki was no different.

The Girl Who Was Forgotten.

Author: If I wanted Sunshine Kiss to end forever, this is how it would permanently end. Don't worry. This is totally and completely separate from the main plot. Sunshine Kiss is not really ended. This is an AU. I'm still rewriting this. I'm still working and taking requests. And I'm still working on part 3. I just felt like posting this now for your enjoyment. I'm sorry I haven't posted the requests yet! I'm working on it! Here's something to make up for it...

What's a chapter without me asking for reviews? God, I love reviews. I love hearing what you have to say.
