A/N: Sorry I didn't do 5 chapters, been super busy :)

Zach POV

I felt like that was a stone crushing my insides, god I felt awful. As the climbed up the what seemed like never ending steps, I had to use Seth for support, which annoyed me. I didn't like Seth, he knew it, so did everyone else, and now I was so helpless he had to practically carry me. We were almost there. I moved away from Seth and leaned on the door to open it, leaving a faint blood mark on the wood.

"What if they've moved all the patients out of the building?" Alexa paused at the door, checking her gun. Seth waited with her.

"Maybe." He said. We all entered the room, we were in luck. Cammie was still there, but there was a man in black stood beside her, taking all the wires out of her arms. I clenched my teeth and took Alexa's gun.

"Leave her alone, I am not in the mood." I told him, my eyes were off and I could see 2 of him but he didn't have to know that.

"We only want her, and that one." He pointed at Alexa. "Then we'll let you all go." I shook my head.

"No one gets left behind." I snapped. Alexa walked towards the man, he aimed his gun.

"Don't." He warned. She grabbed his wrist and snapped it back, no emotion on her face while he cried out.

"I thought I told you before," she hissed. "I've had a really bad day." The man laughed.

"So you remember me." He noted. Alexa grabbed a hand full of his hair and pulled his head to her knee.

"Yeah, I remember." She told him angrily. I was about to act, tell her to back off. But Seth got their first, grabbing her shoulders and pulling her back, what right did he have? I wasn't going out with her, no, but she was like a sister to me. Maybe I was being over protective, maybe rightly so, my head wasn't thinking straight.

"Cammie." I whispered numbly and went to check on her, while the man was still being cornered by Alexa and Seth. She was blinking and looking around, trying to find out what the hell was going on. I wasn't too sure myself.

"Zach?" She asked, putting her head in her hands. "Be careful, there's someone here." I snorted.

"I know Cammie, Alexa's on it." Cammie looked up to see the cowering man, she almost smiled. "How are you?" I asked her.

"Fine." She touched her shoulder. "They stitched me up and gave me a bandage, I should be alright. That anesthetic packs a powerful kick though, doesn't it?"

"Tell me about it." I said. Macey pushed past me.

"Come here Cammie." She hugged her friend tight.

"Oh my god, where were you?" Cammie asked.

"Hiding in a stupid cupboard." Macey said in disgust.

"Where's Liz? And Anna, and Townsend?" She asked, looking around again. I shook my head.

"We don't know, I sent them to the van, but the Circle might already be there, we may be too late." I admitted.

"No." Alexa snapped. "We won't be." She took hold of the mans upper arm and hauled him to his feet. "Because this guy will tell us all we need to know."

"No, I won't." He spat blood. Seth boxed him in the jaw.

"I don't think you heard straight." He spat back. The man pulled his arm free and touched his jaw.

"We are the Circle of Cavan, ready to die for our secrets." He said proudly. "And I, Max, am also ready to die for them." I rolled my eyes, not having any of it.

"Please." I said, annoyed. "Just tell us and we might just leave you tied up." Max thought about it.

"They'd kill me, don't you get it? Of course you don't, you're so stupid, couldn't even see what your mum was trying to achieve." I flinched at the mention of my mother. Alexa walked to the door.

"We don't have time for this, damn it we may already be late, Liz wasn't in a good condition to begin with." She said.

"They took the bullet out, she'll be fine, just weak." I said. "We won't be much help to her dead." Cammie tensed.

"We'll be fine." Macey comforted. Max laughed.

"Get real, you'll all be dead." Seth, who hadn't said anything for a while turned to Max with an angry face.

"How about you shut up. We done need this, I could just shoot you right now." He put his gun to Max's head, Alexa gasped.

"Seth..." She warned.

"Okay!" Max yelled. "They're planning on killing everyone!" Seth exhaled. "They only want Alexa and Cammie, I'm not too sure why, I'm not exactly in charge around here, but anyone that those 2 care about get killed, I guess." Alexa and Cammie looked at each other.

"We'll stop you." They both said. Max shook his head.

"No you won't, you only have 2 minutes till they invade the hospital and the van. The men down stairs were just a distraction." He droned on.

"Like you." Seth headed for the stairs. I grabbed Max and tied him to the bed with the sheets, Cammie slid out and pulled on a pair of jeans, probably hers.

"I'll head them off by the van, everyone else get in and go." I said. Seth shook his head.

"Too risky, I'll go too." He offered.

Cammie, Macey and Alexa shared a look that meant - Really? - It was Macey that spoke next.

"Hey, we're all in this together, we can still fight you know." She argued. The other two agreed, much to my annoyance.

"Fine." I said at last, "but if it gets rough someone has to go and drive away."

"Cammie and Alexa, they're the ones that are wanted by the Circle, they should go." Macey suggested.

"No!" Cammie and Alexa yelled, just as they reached the door of the hospital. "They'll kill you."

"Not if we have anything to say about it." A figure at the door said.
