A/N: I am unbelievably sorry for the lack of chapters I post, GCSE's have been hectic, this time I swear I will frequently update!

Cammie POV

The answer came from Zach, who knew exactly what to do, go to find the others ourselves, just the two of us and while we were gone the others could load our things into various different cars and meet on the other side of the village. It wasn't going to be easy, but it would work... In theory.

The car we ended up hijacking was a small grey five seater with a Jesus bumper sticker and the bible in the glove compartment. It almost made me feel bad taking it, but it was vital we find the others. Fast.

We found them soon enough, the gun shot could be heard a block or two away with the windows rolled down. Zach sped up, rounding the corner so fast he jumped the kirb. What we saw was a mess, there was blood everywhere, and Seth shielding what looked like Bex and Alexa from a guy. Zach swore colourfully and, instead of hitting the breaks, his accelerate and hit the boy with the gun, it went off as he fell. Thankfully it narrowly missed Seth's head.

I got out the car before Zach even stopped the engine and ran over to Bex, and that's when I noticed she'd been shot. "Oh god." I mumbled. Bex was barely conscious from what I could tell, her face was pale white and her eyes were flickering open and closed, it didn't look good.

I turned around to find Zach, but he was to preoccupied fighting with Jack, who was losing shamefully, but that didn't seem to stop him. "Enough Zach." I snapped at him, "we have bigger issues." Alexa mumbled something about me putting pressure on the wound, I did as she said and she stood up shakily.

"I am so so so sorry." She said, biting her lip. "I thought we could trust him, he..." Zach had Jack by the scruff of his collar and dragged him over to us kicking and screaming. Seth whacked him on the back of the head with the butt of his gun and he stopped moving. Unconscious.

Zach let him go and moved to help me with Bex, whose breath was getting shallower. "Hospital, now." He said, taking Bex lightly by the head and arms while I grabbed her legs.

"What about Jack?" Seth asked, kicking the scrawny kids leg.

"Leave him." Alexa said firmly, going to open the back side door so we could put Bex in there. "He deserves worse." No one argued with her. She was right.

Zach carefully climbed in backwards first, I followed so that Bex had her head on his lap and her legs over mine. After carefully shutting the door Seth climbed in the drivers seat and turned to me for the keys. Alexa climbed in last, after retrieving all the guns that could be seen from the scene and Seth started the car.

He carefully reversed off of the pavement and I winced as he bumped down. "Sorry." He would mutter every time we hit a speed bump or traffic lights. It was crazy how calm I felt right now, Zach was holding in so much anger it was over flowing, Seth was panicking that he was hurting Bex and Alexa was impatiently picking at her finger nails and rubbing her red tinted hands together. This wasn't the first shoot out we'd been in, but it was different when it was closer to home.

But I didn't feel any of that, of course I was scared for Bex and the sooner a hospital the better, but I was too alert and on edge to cry, like I'd drunk so much caffeine I was going to explode. Cars whizzed past up as Alexa pointed Seth in the direction of the nearest hospital.

Once we arrived it felt all too familiar from a couple of days ago. "If the circle knows we're here..." Alexa started, she had thought the same thing.

"We need to get her to a doctor." I said, and that ended the discussion. Alexa got out the car and opened the door for Zach to get out, he carefully lifted Bex again and I quickly got out after him.

"What if people notice the car?" Seth questioned, getting out and examining the pool of blood that formed in the back seat, and the blood on the key chain from where I held it previously.

Bex stirred in her sleep and coughed up blood, it looked painful. "Later." Zach decided for us and began to walk, I tried to match his gentle yet fast pace as we headed through the car park to the entrance. As we walked Alexa distributed the 4 guns she had between us, making sure they we all loaded. I took the gun with the two missing bullets and put it in my back pocket, holding Bex at the knees with one arm.

Seth ran ahead to open the door for us as we ran in. He then proceeded to shout at the top of his lungs for a doctor urgently. Two nurses rushed towards us and looked Bex once over before one of them ran to alert someone on a phone.

Then two nurses took her away from us and carried her away while an older man approached, Zach saw him in time and moved away from me back with Seth, so me and Alexa were standing together before him. He had a kind face, with rounded features and soft blue eyes. His grey hair was tied back in a small pony tail. He stared at Alexa with narrow eyes through is large round glasses, out the corner of my eye I saw Zach moving to whisper in Seth's ear before they both turned around and took a couple of steps away.

This doctor hadn't seen them with us. "Well well miss Octavia." He said finally, Alexa's face dawning on him. She clenched her jaw and gave a fake smile. "I should have known this had something to do with you." He shook his head in disappointment at her. She took a deep breath.

"Doctor Collins." She said sweetly. "It's been a while."

"Not long enough my dear." He was so sinister, yet so charming at the same time. I could tell she had a remark ready on her tongue, she played with the idea for a second before exhaling in annoyance.

"Always so kind." She remarked with a hint of venom, they clearly had a history.

"If you two ladies would follow me into my office." He gestured for us to follow; not bothering to look if we did, he walked off. I gave one last glance at Zach and Seth, who had gotten away clean, before begrudgingly following a rather reluctant Alexa after Doctor Collins.
