Alexa POV

It was official, I was going to throw up, badly. Every single time the car went over a bump my head whacked against the corner of the folded up gurney with a thud, I knew I was going to have a large bump when this was all over. I groaned again as we went over another speed bump and hit my head, I was going to give Collins a hell of a time if I ever got out of this mess.

Cammie still wasn't awake, which sucked, we needed to find away out of this mess. I had given up trying to untie my raw ankles and wrists about 5 minutes ago and was now working on chewing the gag around my mouth to see if I could break it and spit it out. It was going better than expected.

After 11 minutes and 23 minutes of chewing I managed to break the cloth into pieces and spit it on the cold floor next to my head, my mouth was dry and my gums were sore ans bleeding, perfect. I wiggled my fingers to make sure I still could, the bonds were tight and behind my back, cutting off my circulation.

"Cammie." I whispered, my voice horse. What was that gas? I still couldn't see because of the blind fold but talking - however badly - was a start. Though I didn't know where Cammie was in the ambulance, I guessed that was what we were in, but I could hear her breathing steadily, if not a bit raspy.

It was hard to get my bearings with the pounding in my head and the fact that I couldn't see but at least I wasn't gagged anymore.

I lay there for the next 15 minutes trying not to cry while Cammie continued to sleep and we continued to drive and go over dreaded bumps in the road. But then Cammie finally began to stir which made sense, she was hit with a more concentrated blast of the gas than me.

"Cammie?" I said again and she moaned and kicked out, this hit my in the shins. "Ah! Damn it it's just me. Alexa, remember?" She tried to form words and I remembered she still had her gag on, great. "Umm... Try to chew your way out, I did." She huffed at me and I could hear her chewing. I waiting in the silent darkness for her to remove her gag, which she spat out in disgust after 7 minutes and 54 second, impressive.

"God." She coughed. "My mouth is like sand paper." I couldn't help but almost smile as Cammie complained about the taste of the gag. "Where are we?" I told her my theories and thoughts since I woke up from being knocked out, she listened intently and only spoke up when it was clear I had said everything I needed to say.

"Collins is part of the Circle of Cavan too? Boy you sure know how to make friends." She tried a joke to clear the air. "So what now, I mean, I can't exactly get these bonds off my hands, they're pressed against the wall at the side and I can't feel anything helpful, you?" I could feel the floor but nothing besides that, though I could probably manage to shuffle to the other side if I avoided another unfortunate gurney experience. My head throbbed painfully as a reminder.

"I'm going to try to shuffle to the side of the ambulance to see if there is anything else, other that this frigging gurney!" I snapped the last part as we turned a sharp corner and my jaw hit onto the cold metal. Cammie gave me the okay and I tried to scramble to the side using my feet and body in kind of a wormy way, it hurt to lift my head so high when I couldn't lift my body as well but I managed to role on to my back, with my head flat against the cold gurney top. I inhaled a large breath and sat up carefully, in case I hit my head on something. "Okay, I'm sitting up, try to as well." I heard Cammie move around and grunt once.

"I'm sat up, anything at the side?" She asked, still getting used to talking after the gas. I shuffled on my butt and heels to the other side of the ambulance where I proceeded to hit my shoulder on the wall, I could feel with the top of my head that there was a cabinet of some kind but I couldn't reach it.

"If I turn my self facing the wall can you do the same? Maybe we can undo each others hands." I shuffled and Cammie did the same.

"I'll start moving back to you, hopefully we're opposite each other." She began to slide back, banging into the gurney in the process. She gave an annoyed sigh before what sounded like moving to the side and advancing to me again. Her right hand grabbed hold of my left and I laughed slightly, we had done it. After quickly moving to the side a little I tried to work on Cammie's bonds even though I could hardly feel my tingling numb finger.

It took three attempts but finally Cammie moved her hands away from herself and undid my bonds as well. When I took off my blind fold the light blinded me and I blinked hard a few times to let them adjust. It seemed we'd done it. I removed the rope from my ankles and tried to stand, but my head began to spin and I leaned against the white wall for balance. "You okay?" Cammie was also just standing up, when she did she wobbled as well. "That gas was some powerful stuff, I lost consciousness almost literally the second I opened that damn draw." She rubbed her wrists and pushed some hair out of her face.

I looked to the front of the ambulance - which we now confirmed it was - and at the wall separating us from the driver who I presumed to either be Collins or who ever paid him to deliver me and Cammie.

"Lets go greet our captor." We said in unison.
