Commander Sampson walks into his private office, taking a momentary break from the Christmas party at DATS. Kudamon is still resting on his neck. "Are you enjoying the soiree, Richard?" he asks. "Yes, immensely. And yet, something bothers me." "What is it?" Commander Sampson looks out his window at the falling snow. "We are making progress, Kudamon. There is no doubt about that. However... will it be enough? Will it be enough to send a group of spirited children out to save two worlds?" "They're not alone, Commander. You must remember that," Kudamon reassures him. "Of course."
He clears his desk and presses a button on the side. A keyboard flips open and he plays a few notes on it.
Sampson/Kudamon:

At this point, Kudamon takes the high counterpoint while Sampson continues on with "Little Drummer Boy".

As the song ends, Sampson puts his keyboard away, adjusts Kudamon so he's comfortable on his neck, and rejoins the party.
