Hello my lovelies. I would like to thank those of you who have followed and favoured this story since my last update and I would like to thank monkeygirl77 for their review. I'm glad you are enjoying it.
Anyway here's the next chapter.
Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural.
Gabriel stood outside the church and closed his eyes. It took more energy than he liked but he finally located Castiel. Though the grace he felt from him was weak and that worried Gabriel. His brother could be seriously injured. As he felt that Castiel wasn't in any imminent danger and he was travelling slowly, slowly for an angel at any rate, he decided he would be better off conserving his grace so he could heal his brother. With that thought in mind he went off to find a car so he could follow the Winchesters wherever it was they were going.
As Dean made the drive back to the bunker he had the chance to examine Cas closer. Looking at him he thought his vessel was about 5 or 6. What that equated to in angel years he didn't have a clue but it did make him realise something. Cas was sitting next to him in his trench coat, white shirt, blue tie and boxers. And nothing else. It seemed that when Cas became de-aged he lost his pants and shoes somewhere along the way. Not that it truly mattered, the shirt was like a dress on him. But it did bring Dean to the realisation that he would at some point have to get Cas some new clothes. He sighed at the thought. He had to look after Sammy first, he really didn't have the time to look after a kid as well, but he knew he would. It was Cas. With that thought he look through his review mirror at sam sleeping on the back seat, it did seem that Cas had been able to help him. So that would good. Damn it, Cas was an angel no matter what. He could help his brother. Even if he was a child.
Dean shook his mind away from any thoughts that said that Cas wouldn't be able to do it. Cas could do anything he told himself and instead concentrated on the road and the practical things he would need to do once they got back home.
He would have to get Crowley into the dungeon, without Kevin finding out or him seeing Cas. He didn't want the king of bloody hell to know about little Cas. In fact he was very sure he didn't want anyone to know about little Cas. He would also need to get Sam set up in his room, and probably procure some medical stuff but he could do that when they had got settled. He could probably pick Cas up some clothes then as well. Though what he was going to do with a damn baby angel he really had no idea. But that was a problem for later. One thing at a time. With these thoughts and only these thoughts going through his head Dean speed towards the safety of the bunker.
Castiel sat in the passenger seat of 'baby' watching the world fly by slowly hoping that Gabriel would be able to find him with the righteous man. Though as Gabriel had asked him to look after him he was sure that he would, he had complete faith in Gabriel to be able to anything if he put his mind to it. He wanted his brother. Humans were so strange. He had caught Dean looking at him with a frown on his face and with a worried expression when he looked at Sam. he didn't understand this man but he would do anything he could to help him. That is what his brother had always told him his role was. To help the righteous man. And it made him feel like a big angel to help. He always wanted to help and he never understood why his brothers and sisters wouldn't let him. Yes him maybe the baby of the family but what was wrong with him wanting to help others? The only one whom he truly understood was Gabriel. He was fun, playing and laughing with Castiel, not just teaching him to be an angel. He liked that, the playing. He looked up into the sky thinking about heaven only to see that his brothers and sisters had stopped falling. Had they solved the problem? Would they come and take him home now? How many were left in heaven? These were thoughts he didn't know the answer to and they made him feel strange to think about, so instead he thought of what he could do to help Dean and how he would see Gabriel soon. And to him Gabriel was heaven anyway.
Gabriel finally after about an hour of walking, (how did humans mange?) Finally found a car he could take. And didn't mind been seen driving. Once he was behind the wheel he spent off in the direction that his grace was telling him his brother was heading. His only thought now was getting to Castiel. It may have been a millennium but hearing that voice again, the voice of the one fledging that questioned everything, who cared so much for their fathers creations, he couldn't abandon it now. Even if his mind was telling him he was crazy. Castiel was a full grown angel. Hell he was a seraph. He didn't need his big brother watching out for him anymore. He still couldn't rest until he knew for sure. In his heart and saw him with his own eyes. And if that meant he got dragged into whatever shit storm the Winchesters had created this time? Then so be. He would not let down his brother. Not this time. It wasn't often you got a second chance, and he was going to grab his with both hands and never let go.
