Currently sitting in her classroom and writing down several notes is Lisa, who has quickly risen to the top of the class as far as test scores are concerned. However, Lisa found herself thinking about how strange a few people at school were acting as well as the concerning titles she noticed floating above some students' heads which concerned her since both students and a few teachers also shared the title.

Lisa noticed these two titles above several heads, but nobody shared both titles meaning that they had one rank and Lisa could somehow feel the tension in the air that nobody else seemed to notice.
"Lisa, can I have a word with you?" A person said, snapping Lisa out of her thoughts as she looked to the left and saw the student council president.
Cater Leen, Level: 3
East City High School SCP/Junior Politician
Cater is a normal teen like most other girls. She has black light brown hair done in a bob-cut style with square rimmed glasses over her eyes, fair and slightly pale skin, and is wearing a green long-sleeved shirt with black slacks and sneakers on her feet.
"Sure." Lisa said before she got up, as the teacher excused both teens due to Cater explaining that she needed to talk to Lisa on official student council business. The walk through the hallways was awkward to say the least but soon enough they made it into the student council room. Lisa saw that the classroom was completely empty, which was odd since Lisa thought that she would have to talk to the entire student council.
"Lisa, I'm sure you noticed something strange happening in the school. I've looked into a few students as well as some teaching staff and I discovered something horrifying." Cater said bluntly.
"What did you discover and why are you telling me this?" Lisa asked with her own form of bluntness.
"I discovered that several people here have become members of the Red Ribbon Army. Recently a few other student council members attempted to bring me into the fold as well and I lied saying that I would join. The reason I'm telling you this is because your mother is a person who is being targeted by the RRA for some reason." Cater explained, which completely confused Lisa.
Lisa's mother is a scientist and a pretty good one but otherwise she was just a normal person unlike her, who suddenly got videogame powers. Now, before Lisa could reply, the entire school building shook and alarms sounded off making both girls cover their ears before they heard gunshots, which made both girls get down to the ground.

Lisa looked on at the quest screen that appeared in front of her before selecting the yes option with a bit of confusion about what the hidden objectives could be before she looked over at Cater who was clearly scared just like her, but Lisa's fear started vanishing as she saw another alert appear in front of her.
[Gamers Mind] Activated!
Lisa simply took a deep breath and calmed down because of her perk activating.
"Cater are you ok?" Lisa asked before reaching over with her hand and took hold of Cater's, which grabbed the student council president's attention.
"This is it. The attack. The Red Ribbon Army is actually attacking the school and the city." Cater said before Lisa thought about her abilities that might save her before she decided to use her two remaining perk points.

Lisa felt the change almost instantly. She didn't get enhanced muscles or anything, but she did feel an odd sensation of being heavier and lighter at the same time as well as noticing a slight increase in her HP pool.
"Cater we've got to get help. If we stay here were dead." Lisa said as a gunshot or two came through one of the walls of the room.
"Ok but where can we even go. They've probably locked down the school." Cater said back as the duo slowly stood up.
"Let me worry about that. Now, stick close to me." Lisa said before slowly opening the classroom door while looking across the hall and saw nobody walking but the gunshots still rang through the halls and through their ears. "Come on." Lisa said before she and Cater made their way north through the halls until they spotted a teacher holding a gun with a red marker on the barrel.
"Lisa and Cater. It's a shame you two came out here when you did." The teacher Mr. Clu said before raising his gun.
"Telekinetic Armor." Lisa said as she activated her skill and luckily enough her shield could stop a low caliber bullet which shocked both Clu and Cater. The bullet stopped a few inches away from Lisa and crunched up against the barrier as if it hit a wall, Lisa didn't waste any time and rushed her former teacher before slugging him with a powerful right hook that she reinforced with Telekinetic Reinforcement and sure enough Clu was knocked out cold.
A reinforced punch to the jaw would knock out most people but still Lisa felt a strange mix of pride and regret after having to deal with one of her former teachers as well as getting some experience points for knocking out said teacher.
"What the hell?" Cater asked in complete confusion.
"No time to explain. Just come on." Lisa said before grabbing Cater's wrists as she ran through the halls again but this time stopped when they heard someone screaming in a nearby classroom which made both girls look into the classroom and see two RRA soldiers with guns aimed at the students of the classroom but more important was the fact that one of them was holding Hiko hostage.
"We've got to help them." Cater said while Lisa was having a serious internal debate about what she should do.
"Why should I? Hiko and her friends make my life a living hell and now they are getting to see how it feels to be bullied." Lisa said coldly, which made Cater look at her.
"What if they're killed or raped or something. Could you live with that? Knowing that you could have stopped something like that and chose not to?" Cater asked as Lisa was silent for a moment before letting out a angry groan.
"Fine. But I'm doing this for me, not for Hiko or her friends." Lisa said before activating Telekinetic Armor once again along with Telekinetic Reinforcement before tackling the soldier holding Hiko hostage. The second soldier shot at Lisa but again her shield held up as Lisa quickly stood up and used Telekinetic Hold to take away both soldier's guns and toss them aside before she beat up both soldiers while feeling a drain in her MP.

Lisa chose to ignore the new information in front of her as well as the new knowledge of her martial arts skills that came into her mind as she looked at the students and Hiko before turning around to leave.
"Happy?" Lisa asked as she looked back at Cater.
"Wait." Hiko said rushing up to Lisa and Cater, which made both girls look towards the queen bee of the school. "Why did you save me? And how the hell did you do that weird stuff like making their guns move out of their hands?"
"I saved you because I don't want to be a bitch like you, and I don't owe you any kind of explanation. I'm just getting Cater and myself out of this school so we can get help to come and deal with the soldiers." Lisa said before she started walking away as Cater chose to stick close to the telekinetic teenager.
Shockingly though, Hiko ran after both girls and declaring that she would be sticking with them in order to get out of the school much to Lisa's annoyance while the other students chose to wait and hide in the classroom with the door locked and the two soldiers tossed outside of the classroom.
"The main entrance and exits of the school are most likely guarded but a lot of people actually don't know about the back exit through the girl's locker room of gym. If we can get, they're without being noticed we will be in the clear." Cater explained as the trio came up to the gym and slowly pushed the door open to look in and see that the gym was completely empty and the entrance to the locker room was in clear site across the gym.
The girls didn't waste time in getting to the locker room but when they opened it, they saw another girl sitting on a bench in the full battle ball gear or long johns underneath a protective chest piece with boots on her feet and a helmet next to her.

The gear she was wearing was also sporting the colors of blue and yellow with the number 10 on the shoulder pads and front of the chest piece.
"What are you all doing here?" Momo asked as she stood up.
"We are making our way out of this school and getting help. Why are you here by yourself?" Lisa asked, making Momo lower her head.
"I'm hiding. I tried leaving out through the backway of the locker room, but the RRA is surrounding the school including this exit." Momo said back making Lisa frown.
"Damn it. That was our way out." Lisa cursed.
"Can't you use those weird telekinetic powers you have to beat up more of the guards?" Cater asked, which stunned Lisa a bit. "What? I read comics and know superpowers when I see them."
"I can't just use my powers constantly, it drains energy. But from the looks of things, I might not have a choice." Lisa said before balling up her fist.
"What are you talking about?" Momo asked with clear confusion in her voice.
"Basically, I have telekinetic abilities that are saving my life and the lives of the girls with me. Now, how many RRA soldiers did you see out there?" Lisa asked as Momo scoffed.
"I don't know what you're on about, having superpowers and crap, but I do know that is saw at least five soldiers standing guard and moving around outside." Momo replied, making Lisa think for a moment before a new storm of bullets sounded off followed by a voice coming from a megaphone.
"Attention terrorist occupying East City High School! This is the East City police force, and we are prepared to listen to your demands but first you need to release your hostages!" A policemen said alerting the girls that the police are here.
"Where saved." Hiko said with a sigh of relief.
"Maybe but something about this doesn't seem right." Cater said and honestly Lisa was thinking the same thing but right now Lisa didn't want to be caught up in a firefight between the RRA and the ECPD. A low caliber bullet didn't break through her shield but several bullets or one good round would be more than enough to get Lisa killed.
"What do you mean? The police are here to save us. Right?" Momo asked.
"They are. But something about this whole situation feels off." Cater said and after a chat the group decided to simply wait in the gym until the police came in and arrested all the RRA soldiers.
The girls all went to their separate homes where Lisa was expecting to see her mother but instead what she found was a note on the kitchen table.

If you are reading this, then that means I left the house and I don't know when I will return. I have kept a few secrets from you and my friends here but what you need to know is that East City isn't safe for you. The Red Ribbon Army will be hunting you and people close to you.
I was a former scientist for them before I went AWOL. I need to make amends for the crimes I've committed. You're a bit girl now and you have powers unlike anything I have ever seen.
Trust your gift because it will keep you alive but don't share the knowledge with anyone you don't trust. The Red Ribbon will want to dissect you to find out how your powers work and won't stop until they can have it for themselves.
You need to pack up everything you can and leave the city as fast as possible. I don't know how, and I don't know when, but if I survive, I will find you and I will explain everything but for now.
Run and never look back.

To say that Lisa was confused would be an understatement to say the least. But she clicked the yes button and focused on the note in front of her. As well as what she had to do.

A/N: Short chapter and damn was this a bitch to right. I feel like it's rushed but no matter how many times I tried I literally couldn't think of any other way to advance the story so, I'm sorry if it feels like it's going too fast.
