Hello Again. I would just like to thank keacdragon and lost winter for the wonderful reviews. You guys are awesome. Anyway here's the next bit. Enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural or any of the lines I have taken from the show.

Once Dean got off the phone, calling all the hunters he knew to warn them of the angels he turned tired eyes on Gabriel. Planning his next steps.

"Okay I need to check the net for anything angel-y…or demon-y…or monster-y…or ghost-y, man this is going to be a bad year." He said running a hand over his face.

"No. You need to sleep. I'll check the net as soon as Cassie's finished watching his movie. Now go." Gabriel replied waving his hand in a shooing motion. Dean looked at him, then down as Cas who still had the headphones in watching the last few minutes of the movie, then over at Kevin who had the tablet out in front of him and his note pad next to him. He realised that there was nothing else he could do right now and this was the best time to sleep while they had a lull in activity.

So nodding at Gabriel he said "yeah okay. I'll go get my four hours. Wake me if you need to," and with that he made his way to his room, checking on Sam before he hit his bed. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was out like at light.

12 hours later Dean woke feeling a lot better. Making his way down the corridor he stuck his head into his brother's room to see Sam awake and on his laptop.

"What you up to?" Dean asked making his way into his brother's room.

"Wow, look who's awake." Sam replied sarcastically with a smile on his lips.

"Shut up bitch." Dean said coming in and sitting down on his brother's bed.

"Jerk." Sam responded automatically going back to looking at his computer.

"You gonna share with the class?" Dean asked when Sam went silent again.

"There's been some major storms in South California and it seems that there been some cattle deaths in the area. Could be worth checking out?" Sam said looking up at his brother.

Dean just sighed. Surely Sam wasn't thinking of going on a case right?

"And? Sam you can't even get out of bed." Dean replied.

"Dean, this looks demonic, it needs to be looked into. If this is…it's on me Dean. I was the one who didn't close the gates of hell. I need to make sure people are safe." Sam said begging his brother to at least think about it. He needed to do something.

"No Sam. I was the one who told you to stop. Any deaths are on me." Dean replied seriously looking Sam in the eyes. Once he was sure his brother had got the message he turned the computer towards him. "So where these signs at then?"

Dean was in his room packing his duffel when little Cas suddenly came running in and grabbed his legs.

"Don't go Dean." The little angel whined up at him giving him his puppy dog eyes.

"I got to buddy." Dean replied trying to pry to angel off of him with little success.

"Why?" Castiel asked clinging to him even tighter.

"Cos I need to go help people kid. It's my job." Dean replied sitting down on his bed so that he could look into Cas' eyes.

"But…is it dangerous?" Castiel asked his voice quivering with the fear of something happening to Dean.

"Na, no one can hurt me buddy. I'm just that awesome." Dean replied with a smile, hoping that it would help the kid deal with him leaving. He remembered how Sam used to be when their father left on a hunting trip. He also spent most of the time trying to take Sam's mind of his absence. But Cas had Gabriel. He didn't need Dean too. Speaking of which, Dean looked up to the doorway to see Gabriel standing there watching them looking pretty worn out.

"You all right Gabe?" Dean asked.

"Gabe?" Gabriel replied with the raise of an eyebrow before letting it pass. "I fine Dean-o. Just had a session with Sam."

"Really?" Dean replied with a smirk and an answering eyebrow Causing Gabriel to just roll his eyes. "So how is he?"

"Sam's doing fine. How long you going to be gone do you reckon?" Gabriel answered.

"Why? Worried you'll miss me?" Dean replied with a smirk at Gabriel.

"No, just wondering how long a party we can have without you." Gabriel said back with a smirk of his own.

"Yeah very funny." Dean replied with a roll of his eyes before turning back to little Cas who, while Dean was talking to Gabriel, had managed to climb into Dean's lap and wrap his arms around his neck. "Hey buddy I need to get back to packing."

Cas just shook his head and tightened his arms refusing to let Dean go.

Dean looked up at Gabriel holding his arms out to side silently asking him for help. Gabriel just stood there smirking at him, until Dean narrowed his eyes at him.

"Hey Cassie. Let's leave Dean-o to get going. The sooner he leaves the sooner he'll be back." Gabriel said holding out his hand to Castiel.

"But why does he have to go at all?" Castiel replied to his brother not moving from his position on Dean's knee.

"Cos he needs to go protect others. You got me here to protect you. You don't want other people to get hurt cos Dean had to stay here do you?" Gabriel asked couching down next to his brother.

"No but…"

"It's my job buddy. Have to save people. But I promise I'll be fine okay and I will come back." Dean said putting his arms around Cas and kissing his forehead before with Gabriel's help gently easing him off of him.

"Promise?" Castiel said in a quiet voice as he slowly released his hold on Dean.

"Sure kid." Dean said softly in reply before turning to look at Gabriel who had a look on his face which said very clearly to Dean 'you'd better not break that one', before Gabriel carried Castiel out of Dean's room suggesting they go watch some more cartoons and Dean finished his packing.
