At the word demon Samantha sat up in bed looking around the room scared then got up and ran to where Jess was still standing in shock. Beth sat up, tears still in her eyes from her earlier frustration and now fear, too scared to move.
"Th-they found us?' Samantha squeaked sitting on the floor. Beth nodded still to shocked to do anything. But Jess was now over her shock and was ready to go; she was running around the room looking for the knife.
"If you're looking for the knife Dean already has it" Beth stated peeking out behind the curtains. "There's heaps of them they're outnumbered" she added falling back down on to the sofa bed.
"We've got to do something" Jess said angrily
"We don't know exorcisms and the knife is the only thing that kills them and Deans got it" Samantha stated standing up and going to sit next to Beth.
"Yeah if we go out there we'll get killed, then everything would have been a waste of time" Beth said agreeing with Samantha and leaning against her when she sat down. The girls sat there in silence for a moment
"What about if we draw a giant devils trap, then let them all in?" Jess suggested
"With what? The spray paint is in the car, which is outside, which is where the demons are, which means getting killed" Beth argued
"You've got lipstick in your bag" Samantha told Beth
"Well that's just gonna rub off way too easily. There's a reason they use spray paint" Beth argued again
"Oh my god Beth just shut up!" Jess yelled angrily.
"Wait we need to salt the fucking doors!" Samantha yelled
"Shit! Where's the fucking salt?!" Beth yelled.
"Someone pray to Cas" Samantha yelled. Beth looked at her totally done whilst holding a bag of salt.
"You pray to him" she said as Jess and her started salting the doors and window.
"No you do it" Samantha yelled back just as the door flew open causing Jess who was salting the door to fly across the room hitting the back wall and falling into a heap on the floor. Samantha and Beth screamed as they saw two demons burst into the room. Samantha dropped to her knees and instantly started praying to Castiel.
"Castiel, please we need you, there are demons and we're so outnumbered, and Jess is hurt and I don't know how the boys are and it's just me and Beth and please come help us. Please. Amen" Samantha prayed it spilling out quickly.
Beth started throwing whatever was closest to her at the demons as they walked towards her and she slowly stepped backwards. Both girls were shaking, terror clear in their eyes. Jess was starting to come to by the time Beth had reached the wall out of things to throw. The demons moved toward her and she threw her arm out. Suddenly the demons flew across the room and Castiel was there. Castiel looked as shocked as Beth did when the demons flew across the room. Beth looked at Castiel confused the two conscious girls both asking him the same question silently, did Beth throw demons across the room or was it Castiel? He didn't answer instead he crossed the room and placed his hand on the demons foreheads killing them.
Sam and Dean were trying to fight off as many Demons as they could outside, but they only had ruby's knife between them. They were getting cornered and out of options. Sam slowly raised his hand knowing that they only way that they will get out of this is for him to use his demon powers. But also knowing that Dean is also going to kill him when he finds out that he is still using them. Dean could see Sam's arm rising, and he knew what was coming next and honestly he would rather die than have Sam turn into some monster. Sam was about ready to kill the demons when the white light shone out through the window of their motel room, he dropped his hand instantly. The demons flinched and freaked out at the white light knowing it is an angel. Some of them smoked out while the others ran off into the night. Both Sam and Dean shared a look, but then ran inside to the girls.
"Cas!" Samantha yelled relieved as the boys ran into the motel room. The boys looked at Castiel relieved to find that it's him and not some other angel.
"What happened?" Castiel asked turning to the boys.
"We were here for a job, a vengeful spirit killing off fraternity kids, and we got jumped by a bunch of demons" Dean explained
"There's no vengeful spirits, it was the demons they were luring you here because they heard you had the seal" Castiel told them
"Yeah we figured as much" Dean snapped rubbing his sore shoulder.
"Wait, Jess?" Sam asked running over to where Jess was moaning, still on the floor.
"We have names asshole" she muttered. The tension in the room broke instantly and everyone relaxed slightly, but they knew they'd be back on the road to Bobby's within an hour. Beth and Samantha walked over to Jess, helping her up.
"I'm taking the girls." Castiel said as he walked over to the girls placing his hand on Beth's shoulder and zapping them out of the room.
"Son of a bitch" Dean said before turning to Sam rubbing his hand down his face. "Where the hell is he taking them?"
"I don't know." Sam replied still puffing from the fight. "Maybe we should call Bobby" He suggested.
"And get out of here" Dean added. "Alright I'll check us out and you pack the car. We'll call him on the way" he finished and turned to walk out the door leaving Sam alone in the motel room. Sam quickly grabbed the girl's bags throwing him over his shoulder and walking out the door. Once the Impala was packed with their bags and Dean had checked them out of the motel they were pulling out of the car park on their way back to Bobby's. Sam pulled out his phone dialling Bobby's number. The phone rang for a while before he picked up, it was the middle of the night and so he had been sleeping.
"What do you boys want?" Bobby asked. Sam put the phone on speaker so Dean could hear.
"Demons attacked us." Dean replied.
"The girls?" Bobby asked worry evident in his voice.
"Cas showed up, he took them but we don't know where" Sam answered. "Jess got a bit of a beating but as far as we know the others are fine" he added.
"Cas killed the ones attacking the girls; the rest either smoked out or ran away." Dean added.
"Well I'll let you know if they show up here. But you boys be careful you hear? Find Cas and bring those girls back safe."
"You got it Bobby." Sam said before hanging up the phone.
"Should have got the girls a cell phone. Dammit" Dean yelled angry at himself. "We're getting them one when they get back" he added.
"What if we don't get them back Dean?" Sam asked.
"We're getting them back Sam. Bloody angels." Dean yelled.
...
The girls found themselves in a room they had never seen before. The room was white with gold trimmings. There was a long table in the centre of the room, which seemed to be covered in the girl's favourite food, salt and vinegar chips, chicken burgers and chocolate. There appeared to be one door that led out of the room, which was on the opposite wall to where the girls and Castiel were standing. The girls were still terrified from the demon attack, their heart pounding as if they had just ran a marathon, Jess's head pounding from her head hitting the wall. They could feel themselves shaking, whether they were shaking from fear or shock they didn't know. The demons now know they are in America, and are still trying to kill them. It wouldn't be long before the demons were back, and the girls had almost froze trying to defend themselves, relying totally on the boys and hoping Castiel would show up. Luckily he had, but just as he showed up something else weird happened. Castiel had said there was little chance of demon powers, but something happened that they could not explain; it seemed like Castiel was just as confused in that moment as they were. The question was on the forefront of Beth's mind, one she was scared to know the answer to. If she had thrown those demons across the room, would they kill the girls if it meant they did have some sort of powers, would the boys still look after them? Her head was spinning, jumping from one thought to another; but there were more important questions like finding out where Castiel had taken them.
"Cas... where are we?" Samantha asked voice trembling slightly. Castiel didn't get a chance to answer before another man appeared in the room.
"Castiel" the man said looking at Castiel momentarily before focusing on the girls.
"Uriel" Castiel replied.
"So these are the three daughters?" Uriel asked which Castiel simply nodded in reply. "I'm the angel Uriel" he said to the girls. The girls simply stared at him, not liking the vibe they got. His introduction to them seeming falsely sincere.
"I thought angels were meant to be beautiful." Beth piped up causing Uriel to chuckle slightly. This made the girls even more uncomfortable than they were previously.
"I see you've managed to pick up on some of the Winchesters comments. Speaking of the Winchesters, Castiel, take these girls back to them." Uriel said as he turned away, the girls could hear disgust in his voice.
"But Uriel, the demons have found them; they know there with them, it won't be long before…" Castiel tried to argue before being interrupted.
"Take them back." Uriel replied sharply.
"But heaven…" Castiel started.
"Heaven has demanded they be taken back to the Winchesters. Take them back, and then report back to me." Uriel finished before disappearing out of the room with the noise of wings flapping. The girls were confused by this whole conversation, but didn't get a chance to say anything before Castiel had grabbed Beth's shoulder again and they appeared in the backseat of the Impala with the flap of wings. Suddenly the boys jumped and the Impala swerved of the road slightly before Dean corrected it and then slammed on the brakes. Luckily the boys had made it out of town and there were no cars on the road. The boys turned to look at who was in the back seat, seeing Castiel with the three girls all piled in the back seat, looking very squashed until Samantha quickly moved to be sitting half on each of the other girl's laps.
"Dammit Cas." Dean yelled hitting his hand on the steering wheel.
"Sorry Dean." Castiel replied
"Sorry don't cut it. Where did you take them?" Dean yelled still mad
"I have to go." Castiel said suddenly disappearing.
"Damn angels" Dean muttered to himself.
"You girls okay?" Sam asked while the girls moved into their usual seats, Samantha in the middle with Beth and Jess on either side.
"Physically" Beth replied leaning her head against the window. Jess was rubbing her head, still sore from when she went flying into the wall.
"Where did he take you?" Sam asked curious.
"Some white room with a long table covered in yummy food which we didn't get to eat, we met some angel. Uriel I think was his name." Jess answered. The car went silent besides the low rumble of the engine. They sat in silence for a minute, the girls wondering if they had said something wrong before Dean spoke.
"Sam call Bobby, tell him we got the girls and are on the way." Dean said before taking off. Sam quickly pulled out his phone dialling Bobby's number.
"Hey Bobby" Sam said into the phone, there was some muffled reply that the girls couldn't hear before Sam said; "Yeah Cas brought them back." There was another muffled question before Sam replied "Yeah they're fine, we're on our way. Okay yeah see you soon. Thanks Bobby" and then hung up the phone. There was silence in the car, before Dean grabbed one of his cassettes, putting it in and the music started playing. The girls were tired from having little sleep, but they refused to fall asleep, not wanting to be asleep in case the demons attacked again. The car ride was long, as it always seemed to be, but the added tiredness and fear made it feel like a lifetime. Each time one of the girls went to nod off they would see black eyes staring at them, and would jump awake. By the time they got back to Bobby's it was past midday, and the girls were struggling to keep their eyes open.
"You girls okay?" Bobby asked looking at the girls who were staggering out of the Impala half asleep.
"Oh we're great, you know getting attacked by demons is a daily thing oh and don't forget getting taken by angels. All in a day's work, why the fuck wouldn't we be okay?" Beth yelled angrily storming pass Bobby and going up to her room, the other two girls following slowly behind her.
"They haven't slept" Sam told Bobby apologetically as he walked onto the porch where Bobby was standing.
"No shit" Samantha yelled just as she walked through the door. The boys all shared a look before they walked inside, the girls had all managed to somehow get upstairs and all found their way into their room, each falling onto their own bed face first, collapsing into their pillows.
For the next few days the girls didn't get much sleep as every time they tried they would wake up terrified and screaming. The guys didn't sleep much either, because every time the girls woke up so did they. They both would try and calm them down, but constantly trying to reassure them that they were safe was not helping. Death was looming over their heads, they knew they couldn't hide forever, they had been lucky so far. Of course they trusted the boys to look after them, more because they knew the boys were trying to stop the apocalypse from happening, but there was only so much they could do. It was them against only god knows how many demons, and if the girls couldn't protect themselves, then it was useless. They felt bad, they knew they were keeping the boys up at night with their screaming but they couldn't help it. The memories of what had happened to their families and friends that they had tried to hide all came back as soon as they saw those black eyes.
It was early morning when the girls all crawled out of bed, having had another restless night's sleep, they couldn't stay in their room any longer, trying to sleep was useless and the girls were extremely hungry. Since the boys were still trying to catch up on some sleep, they weren't up yet and so the girls were making their own breakfast. The little sleep they had meant the girls were also grumpy, and so were bickering even more than usual.
"You need to oil the fucking pan" Beth yelled
"I'm fucking getting there" Jess said shoving Beth out of the way to get the oil
"Sorry, you turned the hob on and hadn't oiled the pan and it looked like you had no intention of getting the fucking oil." Beth said
"Do you guys want chocolate chips in them?" Samantha asked
"No" Beth said at the same time Jess said
"Yes"
"What the fuck Beth who doesn't want chocolate chips?" Samantha asked raising an eyebrow
"I don't like chocolate in my fucking pancakes there is nothing wrong with that." Beth said getting slowly angrier
"You're making everything awkward!" Samantha yelled at Beth
"No just cook me some first then you can put your fucking chocolate chips in."
"Too fucking late" Jess said pouring chocolate chips into the pancake mixture.
"Done with your fucking shit" Beth said storming out of the kitchen and going to the office where she sat reading a book for most of the morning ignoring the other two girls.
"Jess was that really necessary?" Samantha asked.
"Yes!" Jess said childishly a big smile on her face. Samantha just shook her head at Jess before pouring some of the mixture into the frying pan. Once they had used all the mixture Jess and Samantha ate their pancakes, Beth quietly walked into the kitchen hugging the book she had been reading to her chest and grabbed an apple from the fridge before going back into the office to continue reading her book. By this point the boys had come down the stairs, unaware of the argument the girls had earlier and so were slightly confused when they saw Beth had separated herself from the other two, but knowing that the girls had got minimal sleep, and often argued they decided not to question it.
…
Another day and night had passed; the girls had managed to get some sleep, feeling slightly safer since there had been no more demon attacks. Beth had started talking to the girls again, but with how tired they were more arguments were already starting. The boys decided it would be a good day to get the girls out of the house, get them the phones they had been asking for and get some more food as they had nearly eaten all of Bobby's food.
"Come on." Dean yelled up the stairs at the girls who were still getting ready. At this point Beth walked out of the bedroom, makeup in hand.
"You can't take us somewhere, where we will be judged by annoying teenagers, without letting me put on my makeup." Beth yelled before walking into the bathroom to use the better mirror.
"You don't need makeup" Sam said leaning against the wall frustrated. The girls most of the time didn't worry about much makeup, only putting on foundation if they felt they needed it, but today they felt like they were normal teenagers again as they were going into town to do normal human being stuff without demons ghosts or monsters being involved. Samantha and Jess quickly ran into the bathroom to do their makeup.
"Sam there will be teenagers and teenagers are scary. Do you know how horrifying it is walking past a group of teenagers? At least if we look nice we won't feel so bad" Beth said quickly walking out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom, soon followed by the other two girls.
"You all look fine" Sam said as all three girls finally walked out of the room ready to go.
"Thanks that really helps my self-esteem." Samantha snapped back, not stopping to gage the boys reactions, instead walking straight to the front door and out to the Impala followed by the other girls. Sam looked towards Dean raising his eyebrow before they followed the girls out. This is going to be a long day.
