Dean came out of the grocery carrying all the supplies they needed. He was happy, Sam was up and about and everything seemed peaceful. He made his way to the car and the smile that had been on his lips throughout the shopping suddenly became a frown. There leaning against his car was a woman. She had brown hair and was wearing jeans and a jacket, but there was something about her. Something off. He just couldn't pin point what it was.

"Hello Dean Winchester." She said as he approached his car causing him to narrow his eyes at her.

"I don't know who you talking to lady, but it ain't me." With that he made his way round to the trunk to put the shopping in there, he also picked up his angel blade and hid it along his right arm. You can never be too careful.

"I am talking to the righteous man. And it is you." the lady replied stoically. At her words he looked at her closer. Yeah she certainly had the clueless angel vibe going on.

"Who the hell are you and what do you want?" He asked closing the trunk and keeping his right hand out of sight.

"I am Hannah and I am looking for Castiel." she replied honestly.

"Well Hannah fraid you're looking in the wrong place." Dean replied with a smirk at the angel.

"I do not think so but that is not my concern. I come to give you a warning Dean Winchester. The angels are looking for someone to blame for their fall and the current consensus is that it was Castiel's doing in league with Metatron." Hannah said amicably.

"That's bull." Dean replied defensively, it was not Cas' fault, any of it.

"Whether it is true or not is immaterial Dean. They will come for him and they will use you to get to him." Hannah replied emotionlessly. She cared little for the human in front of her. Her only concern was her brother.

"Why the hell would they use me?" Dean asked confused by this statement.

"Because you and he are close." Hannah said as if it was an obvious well known fact.

"Whatever. That it?" Dean asked with a roll of his eyes. He was so done with this conversation and was wondering when they would get to the fighting part.

"Yes." Hannah replied not moving.

"Then maybe you could get your feathery ass off my baby." Dean said confrontationally.

"Very well Dean. But Castiel is my brother. Please tell him I was here." Hannah said moving away from the car.

"Sorry lady I have idea where he is." Dean replied looking her straight in the eye and hoping against hope that she couldn't read his mind.

At that Hannah just looked at him with a frown. It seemed like she was going to speak again but instead she nodded to Dean and walked away.

Dean watched her leave until he couldn't see her any more then he quickly got into the car. He needed to get back to the bunker and tell Gabriel of this latest development.

Once he had made his way back to the bunker, taking a long and convoluted route to make sure he wasn't being followed, he dumped the shopping in the kitchen then made his way to Gabriel and Cas' room. He hoped the archangel would be in there alone. This wasn't a conversation he wanted to have in front of Cas.

Walking thought the door without knocking he was brought up short. Gabriel was lying on the bed spread eagled on his front with his mouth open and quiet snores coming from him. If the situation hadn't been so serious Dean would have found it hilarious, instead he quickly made his way over to the angel and roughly shook him awake.

"What the-? Dean?" Gabriel said beadily, he did not like being woken so roughly.

"We've got to talk Gabe." Dean replied sitting down next to Gabriel who had now pulled himself up so he was sitting on the bed.

"Why?" he asked tiredly.

"Cos I was just out shopping and ran into an angel." Dean replied urgently.

At that Gabriel groaned. Great that was all they needed. Bloody angels sniffing around.

"Okay, what angel and what did they want?" He asked with a sigh.

"It was Hannah? And she came with a warning. Said the angels were looking for Cas to blame him for the fall." Dean said.

"Damn it." Gabriel replied running his hand through his hair. Though they were lucky it was Hannah that had found Dean, she wasn't that bad. Just a stickler for the rules. It could have been someone so much worse.

"So what we going to do?" Dean asked. This was not his area of expertise. Angel shit was usually Cas' forte but now it seemed that it was Gabe's.

"Give me a minute." Gabriel replied closing his eyes and going through everything he could think off about hiding angels.

Gabriel and Dean sat in silence while Gabriel thought about what they could do to keep the angels from Castiel. He would not let his brothers and sisters harm him. No way, he would kill them all first if it came to that and he knew that the human sitting next to him felt the same way. He just really hoped they could come up with a different solution.

"Okay, there's a spell that can cloak his grace. Make him look like a regular human child." Gabriel finally replied having gone through the extensive lore in his head.

"Okay great. So what do we need?" Dean asked jumping up ready to get Gabe anything he wanted. This was to protect Cas and he would do anything he had to to do that.

Gabriel gave him a list of things and Dean was out the door and diving into the bowels of the bunker, he just hoped the men of letters had everything they needed.
