The next few days pasted quietly for the occupants of the bunker. Gabriel, after casting the spell on Castiel, had slept for 24 hours. Dean had made sure that no one interrupted him, even if that did mean he got minimal sleep himself and ended up with Cas curled up with him on his bed when he finally managed to get a few hours. Once he woke Gabriel was back to his old shelf. His grace having been recharged as much as it could with heaven closed and he went back to gently healing Sam so he could get up and about. He was making good progress and Gabriel didn't think it would be long before he was fully healed. Though he still needed naps after his sessions with Sam.

It was after one of these sessions that Dean found Cas sitting at the table in the library reading some book is some dead language. He still found that a strange sight. But be that as it may he had had enough of researching for the day and he had forced both Kevin and Sam to take a break. They were both now resting in their respective rooms. So when he sat down next to Cas he thought it was time for him to relax too. The question was what did baby angels do to relax? Cas had managed to go through pretty much all the cartoons Sam had found on the net. Dean thought back to when he and Sam were children and what they had done to amuse themselves. With that thought he got up again and went to his room to get supplies. He hoped he still had some.

Castiel was confused when Dean had left again, but he didn't question him. Dean had a lot of people to look after here, he always seemed to be cooking or cleaning or checking that everyone was alright. Castiel liked it. He liked that Dean looked after them all. It made him feel safe.

Dean returned having found that which he had gone looking for and sitting back down next to Cas he spoke.

"Hey Cas. Want to draw a picture?" He asked holding up the colouring pencils and some paper that he had found.

"Why?" Castiel asked.

"Cos it's fun. Here look let me show you." Dean said smiling at the fledgling. Dean pulled a piece of paper towards him and grabbed some colours from the pack and started drawing stick figures.

Once done he showed Cas.

"There you go." Dean said in a proud voice at what he had done.

"What is it Dean?" Castiel asked tilting his head on its side in the hopes that that would make the picture more recognisable.

"Well that's Sammy, me, you, Kevin and Gabriel." Dean replied with a shrug. Yeah okay he didn't have much imagination when it came to drawing but it worked.

"They do not look anything like us Dean." Castiel told him earnestly.

"Yeah I know buddy. But it represents us, you know?" Dean replied trying to think of a way to explain it to Cas.

"I understand." Castiel finally said nodding earnestly.

"So do you want to draw something?" Dean asked putting down his picture.

"Very well." And with that Castiel took a new sheet of paper and carefully studied the colours with a slight frown of concentration on his face before he made his choice. He then put the pencil to paper.

Dean sat back and watched Cas draw. He had thought that he would be finished quickly but it seemed that he was going for something with a bit more detail than Dean's picture of their family. He was just glad of the chance to relax. Glad that everyone here was safe for now. With that thought he closed his eyes to enjoy the rest.

The next thing Dean knew he was waking up and he couldn't hear anything. Opening his eyes quickly he saw that Gabriel had joined them while he slept and he and Cas where talking. But not out loud. Or at least that was what it looked like to Dean.

"Hey Dean-o. Good nap?" Gabriel asked when he noticed he was awake.

"Yeah." Dean replied stretching his neck. The chair he was sitting on really wasn't designed for sleeping in. he was surprised he hadn't fallen off.

"So what you two up to?" He asked once he was all stretched out and had woken up a bit more.

"Cassie was just showing me his drawings." Gabriel replied looking up from the papers in his hand and giving Dean a grateful look. He was glad that Dean was helping Cassie to learn that it wasn't all about work and duty. Though he guessed as Dean had done it for adult Castiel it wasn't really much of a surprise that he was doing for the fledgling version of his best friend as well.

"Oh yeah can I see?" Dean asked. At that Castiel smiled and nodded shyly at him, handing them over. There were five in total. Each one a portrait of one of the bunkers current residences. They were amazingly realistic. Dean's jaw dropped open. He had never seen anything this good. "Wow Cas, these are amazing."

"They are not completely accurate. I could not get some of the dimensions perfect." Castiel replied with a slight frown as Dean just looked at him in amazement. They were brilliant.

"Na Cas. These are awesome. They don't have to be exactly right to be good." He said in a gentle voice with a smile on his lips.

"Thank you Dean." Castiel replied beaming his smile up at Dean before turning back to the paper he had before him. It seemed he had discovered a liking for drawing.

With that Dean went back to looking at the pictures. He really couldn't get over what Cas could do. He truly was amazing.
