Disclaimer: I do not own Revali or Link or any of the Zelda characters nor do I profit from these stories. They are just for Funzo.
A/N: Hi everyone, I know this story has dragged on a bit but I was thinking maybe I could break this up into a series, I hate to cut this one short so I will try my best to wrap up Munsezo's little side story here and possibly end it with his return? It may take a chapter or two but how do you all feel about that? Also I do apologize for the shell-tastic puns in the titles!

Munsezo was forced to land at the mouth of the river to Zora's Domain, it was getting too dark to see and he feared that he would fly right into something else. He couldn't help but worry about his beloved, he had no doubt that Link would keep his word and help. Still there was a lingering worry that this trip might take longer than he had anticipated. There was a splash nearby and he tensed, this wasn't the safest place to be it seemed. Without knowing what was out there he was a sitting duck, waiting be attacked. Something landed on the shore in front of him with something luminous at their side. When they pulled out the object he saw it was one of the zora, he let out the breath he had been holding.
"You appear to be a rito, it is not often your kind come to the domain," the other mentioned. The Zora pressed the luminous stone into his hand, then motioned for him to follow. "Come I will show you a safer place to camp for the night. It is pretty dangerous here." He was both relieved and also nervous, he wasn't expecting his suspicions to be correct.
"What is out there?" he asked, curious.
"A band of Lizalfo have been raiding our fishing pools of late," the zora explained. "They are few in number but they still pose a problem and threaten the domain, as well as travelers coming to the domain. We had not anticipated they would remain once the threat of the calamity was gone." What could it mean? Did that mean other monsters still remained? Were they in danger still? Perhaps he should inform Link when he returned from the domain, if he could make it back that is. He followed the zora up to a shrine, where some travelers were currently spending their evening. "Hello travelers
"Hello, you brought a.. rito?" the female seemed quite surprised to see him there the male seemed unconcerned. "Are you also traveling to Zora's domain?"
"Yes," he answered, simply.
"Oh my, well we can't risk traveling at night," she said. "Why don't you join our camp for now, we will set out bright and early in the morning.. if you want to join us that is." He wasn't sure how to respond in this situation, he would much rather fly there in the morning. If he joined them then he really won't have any time to make it back, what should he do? "Oh you don't have to join us, if you are on a tight schedule of course but we wouldn't mind if you did join us I mean."
"I will think on it," he replied. "Thank you."
"Well seems you are all safe here, I will get back to my patrol," the zora interjected. "I will keep on eye your camp and warn you if I see any Lizalfo on my usual route!"
"Oh thank you, we very much appreciate it," the female replied, as the zora left them alone. It got really quite at the campfire after that, the female did however start humming as she cooked. Whatever it was it smelled delicious and full of fruit of some kind, though he wasn't sure what fruit. The male was oddly quiet and watching the camp's fire much to intently, this couple seemed very suspicious for some reason. Though he couldn't put his feather on why, he watched them closely even as she pulled out the fruit skewers each seemed loaded with a pale yellow fruit, cut into thick even slices. "Would you like a mighty fruit skewer?" she asked. "It's my special recipe!" He nodded and accepted the skewer without a second thought, he was surprised at the flavor. It was definitely as good as it smelled, he ended up accepting a second before borrowing the cooking pot himself for his own meal. He cooked up the fowl he had killed along the way here and ate before settling against the shrine and falling asleep.

She awoke when the rays of sunshine hit her face, seemed she had slept too peacefully. The rito was already up and moving about. She grinned wickedly and stood up before plastering a sweet smile on her face, then greeted their unwitting camp-mate from the night before. "Good morning," she said, cheerily. She was hoping to wake before him and search his things but unluckily enough he was an early riser. She hadn't been able to the night before because he would crack an eyelid every time she got to close. Inside she was fuming but maybe if she could convince him to travel with them, maybe she could get a second chance. "Have you decided? There is safety in numbers after.."
"I am going on ahead," he replied, before winging his way into the air. She watched after him in disbelief.
"Aw man, we missed our chance," she groused.
"He didn't look like he was carrying anything valuable," the male replied beside her, he was munching on a mighty banana from their stash.
"Eh guess you're right," she replied. "Still would have been nice to check." Her eyes suddenly lit up, as she had spotted a stray feather he had left behind. "At least I get a keepsake!" she placed the feather into a safe wooden container, inside her bag. She kept all of her delicate keepsakes in there, so they would be safe. "Next time, we'll mug the next traveler we come across!"
"Ugh not so loud, what if the zora hear you?" the male groused before walking off.
"Oh relax will you90- it's a joke!" she teased, following behind her partner in crime. She looked around just to be sure that zora hadn't come back though, just in case.
