Manfredi awoke with a start and found himself strapped into a chair, he looked around and recognized the room he was being kept in. It was his interrogation room he had used over the past few years to get information about spies or to break his test subjects. The room originally had been a small shed before Hydra took over the estate and turned it into one of its bases, various tools lined the walls that were probably kept to maintain the estate. There was one light in the center of the room that would move around if anyone entered the shed or hit the walls, the light would move and show just enough of the tools to create fear inside the people who were being kept inside. He wondered who would come to interrogate him, perhaps the Captain would show a darker side of himself or perhaps one of the fighter he had seen while he attempted to escape so that Captain America could keep blood off of his hands.

The door creaked open and the woman that was with the Captain entered the room and took a seat across from him, she didn't have anything with her but she showed no emotion that he could detect. Manfredi smiled and laughed "They send a woman to do a man's work" he gloated.

Peggy stood up and walked towards the wall and picked up a large wrench that was hanging on a nail, she walked back to and stood next to the table and looked at Manfredi "Now you will tell me where the Red Skull is hiding" she stated.

Steve walked into one of the large lab areas and found Stark looking over Hydra notes "So what were they up too?" asked Steve hoping that they could find something that could lead them to Red Skull.

Stark turned to look at Steve "Lots of different things, I found weapon schematics but what is really interesting is the human experiments here, they are using the Third Reich to get their hands on special individuals like that kid you saved" explained Stark.

"That kid's name is Erik" called out Bucky who had silently entered the room behind Steve and Howard.

"Right" replied Howard "Anyway it seems that Hydra has several of these kind of people spread throughout their bases around Europe, Manfredi's scientists were having communications with almost a dozen different bases."

"Can we figure out where they are?" asked Steve as Bucky looked around the lab.

"We should be able to take the information and coordinate it with our spy network and at least get a general idea where the bases are located" explained Stark turning back look over the papers strewn around the room.

Bucky moved towards a glass wall and found that the view led down into a holding area where he assumed they had been keeping the prisoners and test subjects. Steve looked at Bucky and could tell that he was pondering his time with Zola back in France. "You okay?" he asked sensing how Bucky was zoning out.

"That boy went through hell, just like I did" Bucky replied not taking his eyes off of the cells below. He looked up and bore his eyes into Steve's "We have to stop them" he said.

Steve nodded "Together we will stop them, what they did to you and too all the people here will not stand."

Zola entered the Red Skull's quarters and noted how the leader of Hydra was sitting at his desk. The room was large filled with maps and recreations of various battlefields throughout Europe. The walls were made of steel with little to no decoration on the walls and the Red Skull's desk sat in front of large window that looked over the main hangar where his forces prepared for their war against the rest of the planet. Zola had only just returned from visiting Manfredi in Italy and was hoping to get back to work on current project since he had finished working on the weapons the Red Skull needed to equip his army and take over the world with. "I have returned Red Skull and I bring news of Manfredi's work with the miracles" he explained hoping to make this meeting short and sweet.

Zola opened his mouth to continue but Red Skull cut him off "Save it, Doctor. Captain America and his men have conquered Manfredi and his miracles, it is now only a matter of time before they discover our location" he said standing and looking out the window of his room. He looked at his war planes, tanks, trucks and more importantly the soldiers who would guide Hydra to glory.

"What do we do?" asked Zola trying to resist his normal reaction which would be to run and hide until the SSR went away.

"We change nothing, we prepare for our war and wait for Captain America to make his move, he showed in France how young and inexperienced he is and will certainly come to get revenge for his friend whom you experimented on" Red Skull turned and walked towards Zola who was noticeably shaking. "Fear not Zola, when he comes we will be waiting for him and I will kill him and then take the world as my own." Zola nodded leaving the room and almost sprinted to his lab, if he was going to come face to face with Captain America or his friends he wanted his project to be ready.

Stark finished gathering all the papers in the lab wanting to spend as much time as possible looking them over to learn as much about Hydra as he possibly could. The SSR was running out of time everything he had seen led him to believe that Hydra is almost ready if not already ready to execute whatever they were planning.

Peggy entered the room "Manfredi has given us the information we needed" she stated prompting Steve and Bucky to come towards her eagerly. "Manfredi says that Zola was heading to a Hydra base on the coast of Norway and he is planning something big."
