After just 3 weeks of fighting and saving demoman from a cursed axe, the mercs needed a break.
"Bloody he'll demo! First that weird chest full of swords, then that evil sword man, then that cursed axe? Did you really have to waste our sweet time?" Sniper scolds demoman.
The mercs didn't look good, they had bruses, scrapes and scratches all over them, Heavy even had arrows stuck on his shoulders.
The mercs had fought in multiple locations all over the isles, amazing and scaring the residents at the same time.
Miss Pauling walked into the room carrying a board with letters and numbers all over it. As soon as she walked in, Scout's gloomy and burned face light up.
"Miss Pauling! What an unexpected surprise!"
"Hey guys! So, i noticed that you guys seem tired and a bit burnt out, so i'm calling back up."
The mercs eyebrows rose.
"What do you mean?" Spy asks.
"Remeber your old team mates\enemies from BLU and RED? Those guys will be your back up."
The mercs from BLU, Heavy, Medic, Pyro, Scout and Engineer, remeberd their old team mates.
The mercs from RED, Soldier, Demoman, sniper and Spy, also remeberd their old team mates.
"Wait, didn't they retire after Gray Mann started that robot war thing? Scout asks.
"Yes, but I still kept track of them, so I know where they are and i know if they are still alive. Luckily, the affects that Scout got didn't affect outrider."
"Outrider? Who's dat?" Scout asks.
"To not risk confusion, I renamed your old team mates. So RED Scout will now be know as outrider, ok?" Miss Pauling explains.
"Will take some getting used to, but it'le do." Sniper says.
"So, anyway, your old team mates got affected with the same thing you guys got, so their still alive."
"Whats your plan on finding our old buds?" Demoman asks.
"Me, Demo, Scout and Sniper are gonna find and recruit your old team mates. The rest of you are gonna stay here and hold of the deviants. We'll be gonee for just a week. Miss Pauling says.
The group of Miss Pauling, Scout, Demoman and Sniper set out in search of the other mercs.
