Author's Note: Please read regarding the overall plot!
Well, here's chapter 6.
I thought I'd move the plot along as well as bump the rating for the story up to M soon, since I decided to go on a somewhat different direction regarding the ending, which I've already decided on but is still a long way off. :)
There will not be any Lemons until much later on in the story but there might be some Limes in the near future. Also, I will do my best to stay as close to the original content of 'Ah My Goddess', with my own twists and unique story-lines and introduce other characters from 'Rosario + Vampire' and maybe a few from 'Goddess'.
I will introduce 2 more characters in this chapter, who you'll recognize from Rosario Vampire. I want to thank everyone so far for their reviews, faves, and follows. Thank you for the continued support!

Anyway, enough rambling. Onto chapter 6!
...
...
Mid-June, on the outskirts of Nekomi, Japan.
"Hey Moka, thanks again for dinner. It was great as always," Tsukune said to the pink-haired goddess as she removed the dishes from the kotatsu table.
"You're welcome Tsukune and I'm so glad to hear that," she replied with a slight blush.
"You're welcome, Moka."
* ding dong * rang the front doorbell which brought the pair's attention away from each other.
"I'll get it," Tsukune said as she walked towards the kitchen and himself towards the entrance-way.
"Thank you," she called out, down the hallway, as her boyfriend made his way to answer the door seeing that it was evening as they were not expecting any company.
As he unlocked and slid the door open, he was stunned to see who it was on the other side of the door.
"Mom? Dad? What are you guys doing here?" he asked, still somewhat in shock.
"Hi sweetie. Surprise," his mother Kasumi answered as she wrapped her arms around her son and gave him a warm hug. Koji just grinned as he took the sight in for himself. After he and his mother had ended their embrace, he motioned for his folks to enter his and Moka's home.
"Pardon the intrusion," they each said as they removed their shoes by the doorway.
"Um, you can have a seat – I'll be back in a few minutes," Tsukune said after he led his parents into the tea room. They each took a seat at the kotatsu table while he made himself scarce for a moment. He then slid the door closed as he raced down the corridor towards the kitchen in a mild panic.
"Moka! We have company!" he half-shouted as he skidded to a halt, just outside the kitchen doorway.
"Oh that's wonderful. Who came to visit us?" she asked with a smile.
"It's my parents!" he said with a whimper.
Moka seemed unfazed by the current situation as she loved to play hostess every chance she had. Nothing seemed to bother the young goddess as she pulled a cake out from the refrigerator, sliced 4 pieces, and then set each of them on a round, glass plate along with a fork.
She then placed them on a rectangular-shaped serving tray along with four ceramic tea cups, as she politely asked Tsukune to follow her back to the tea room.
Tsukune slid the door to the tea room open and allowed Moka to enter first. The deity immediately noticed that her boyfriend resembled his mother more than his father since they both shared the same hair and eye colors. His father Koji's hair was jet black and his eyes were a lighter tint of hazel gray.
"Mister and Misses Aono, it's a pleasure to meet you," she announced as she set a slice of cake in front of them as well as a tea cup.
"Oh my... you must be the girlfriend," Kasumi said with a smile. The goddess then poured each of them a cup of tea from the tea pot that sat in the center of the low table.
"Mom, Dad, this is Moka... Akashiya, my girlfriend," Tsukune said once he remembered the last name he had made up for her Nekomi Tech student ID, as he took an empty seat. Moka then sat down herself on his right-hand side since Kasumi was in her regular spot at the low table.
Both of his parents nearly fainted when they saw up-close just how beautiful Moka was in person. Kyoko told them by phone that she was pretty but they had no idea until they actually saw her with their very own eyes.
Moka's most striking features besides her other-worldly beauty was her long, bubble-gum, pink hair, and bright, emerald green eyes.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Akashiya," Koji said.
"Please, call me Moka and the pleasure is mine," she replied with a slight bow.
"Oh my goodness, not only is she extremely gorgeous, but so polite too," Kasumi said after she had a sip of her tea. Moka could not help but blush at the simple compliment.
"Mom..." Tsukune said with a sigh as he took a bite of the angel-food cake topped with fresh strawberries. "Hey, this is really good Moka," he added a moment later.
"Thank you Tsukune. It's my first time making a cake from a local recipe," she answered as she took a bite of her cake, likewise.
"Oh, um... you're welcome," he replied as thoroughly enjoyed her homemade cake.
"Really? I gotta say, it's perfect. You better marry her before she gets away, son," Koji teased with a big grin.
"Dad, please," Tsukune begged with a sweat-drop.
"Oh sweetie... you know we're only kidding. You never had a real girlfriend before and now you're living with one. It's just kind of – sudden," his mother Kasumi replied.
"I know, mom... but... meeting Moka's been the best thing that's happened to me in a very long time. She's my Angel," he answered as he reflected on just how much she had changed his outlook on life in general.
"Oh Tsukune," Moka said as she reached over with her right hand, placed it atop his own, and then gave it a gentle, loving squeeze.
"So, Moka... what is it that you like about our son so much?" Kasumi asked the deity who she sat next to.
"Well, Misses Aono, he's so sweet, thoughtful, and kind – not to mention very smart. I never met anyone like him before and I really do care about him a great deal," Moka said with complete honesty.
"I see. Well, when he told us he met a girl two months ago, we were a little worried. The last 'girlfriend' he had treated him so badly back in junior high. That's probably the reason why he's always had a hard time meeting a nice girl. I suppose he was most likely afraid of getting hurt again, so I guess me and the misses just had to see for ourselves," Koji explained as he savored his slice of Moka's homemade cake.
"I understand, Mister Aono. I can assure you that I care about Tsukune very much and promise that I'll take good care of him. I know of his past as we've spent a great deal of time discussing it. You have my word that my intentions with your son are honest and pure," Moka said with a bow of respect.
"I see. Well as his mother, I just ask that you do your best, Moka. Even though he's an adult now, we do want him to be happy and I can see that he is quite happy with you, isn't that right, Tsukune?" Kasumi said as she turned her attention away from Moka and onto her one-and-only offspring.
"Of course, Misses Aono," Moka answered.
"Yes, mom. And thanks for being concerned but like I told Kyoko, you guys have nothing to worry about. Moka's not like other girls. And yeah, I care about her a great deal too. She's really amazing and I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't met her," Tsukune said while he still held Moka's hand in plain sight.
"Oh Tsukune..." the young woman holding his hand quietly replied.
'He's so sweet and kind. I can tell by the way he speaks, that he really cares for me. I just hope that his parents like me,' Moka thought to herself.
"Well I guess this calls for a celebration, then" Koji said as she pulled out a large bottle of Saké from a simple, paper bag that he had somehow managed to sneak into the house without being seen.
"Dad... what the heck are you planing to do?" Tsukune protested with a sweat-drop as Koji poured a generous serving of the rice wine into each of their empty tea cups. He knew his father loved to celebrate any occasion, no matter trivial it could be and more often than not, tended to partake too much.
"Oh c'mon son... live a little bit. This is a big deal for your mom and I. Besides, we're really happy and also proud of you for finding such a beauty who would make a great wife someday," Koji said as he lifted his cup of rice wine.
Kasumi followed his example as did Moka, lastly Tsukune raised his cup as well with a defeated sigh.
"To Tsukune and Moka, we wish you two the absolute best. Kampai!" Koji toasted.
"Kampai!" everyone shouted in unison. They then each took a sip of the warm rice wine.
...
...
After his second full cup of Saké, Tsukune felt somewhat lightheaded since he was not much of a drinker like his father was. Moka took notice as she could see for herself he had a difficult time sitting upright and staying focused.
"Tsukune? Are you feeling okay?" she asked with genuine concern.
"Yep. Hey, why are you sitting so far away, alllll the way over there?" Tsukune asked with a slur as he set his empty cup on the table and then scooted closer to Moka. His parents just looked at the little scene which played out in front of them and hoped to see something interesting happen.
Or at least that's what they wanted, anyway.
"Tsukune, I think you might be intoxicated," Moka pointed out as he leaned against her left shoulder as his face was flush from drinking so much in such a short amount of time.
"I am? Well – um..." he said before he leaned back and fell asleep on the spot. Moka then sighed herself and realized that it would be futile to wake him and quickly decided to let him sleep off the alcohol's effects. He then snored aloud.
"Hahaha. I guess he's a lightweight just like you, dear," Koji said with a wink towards his spouse Kasumi, who somehow managed to tune out and ignore her husband's remark.
"So tell me Moka, have you two kissed yet?" Kasumi asked the goddess who felt fine since the rice wine had no adverse affects on her.
"Kissed?" she asked as her cheeks burned red from the question at hand.
"Yeah, have you two done it yet?" Kasumi continued.
"Done it?" the goddess inquired. Once she knew what the Aono matriarch had just asked her, Moka put on a serious front.
"No, Misses Aono. Tsukune and I have not kissed or furthered our relationship that far yet. Even though we're living under the same roof, we have a great deal of respect for one another. We also believe that when we do reach that stage in our relationship, it will only be when we're both ready, seeing as we're quite inexperienced in such matters as dating and are merely taking our time to get to know each other better," Moka said as her cheeks burned hotter from saying as much and to his mother of all people.
Could she be any more embarrassed than she already was? We will have to just wait and see, right?
"Oh Moka dear, I was only teasing, but since you say as much I believe you. Koji and I raised Tsukune to always respect women and never take advantage of them. Besides, he's always been so shy around girls for as far back as I can remember. I can see that you two do care about each other very much – that much is certain, but the question is – do you love him?" Kasumi said after she set her now-empty cup on the wooden table in front of her.
"I understand. Yes, I can tell that he was raised that way and in the short amount of time that we've been together, he's always treated me with the utmost of respect. We've only held hands and I gave him a light kiss on his cheek a few times. But to answer your question; yes Misses Aono – I love your son Tsukune with all of my heart and will always be here for him," Moka truthfully replied with a stray tear, as she placed a sleeping Tsukune's head on her lap. She then tenderly moved his always-messy hair out of his eyes.
'Oh my gosh... I do love him... My Tsukune,' the goddess thought to herself as the realization sunk in. She would not have said it if it were not true, right? If she flat-out denied it then she would only be lying to herself, anyway.
Kasumi and Koji were left utterly speechless. They had never heard such honesty from any woman, especially from someone who had just met their son a short while ago and held him in such regard. They were also relieved to learn a little about the mysterious woman who seemed to have captured their son's heart. It was truly miraculous they thought.
...
...
As Koji and Kasumi enjoyed Moka's company, Tsukune finally opened his eyes a short while later and looked up once his vision came into focus. He saw Moka over him and quietly speculated where he was and why he had his head on something soft. Tsukune then noticed that the softness was not a cushion or pillow, but actually Moka's lap. He then quickly recalled he had too much to drink of his dad's Saké and slowly sat up.
"Hello, sleepyhead," his mother teased once he was upright.
"Are you feeling better now, Tsukune?" Moka asked as she placed her forehead against his own as she checked for any sign of a possible fever, but felt nothing. Tsukune was uncertain on how to react and blushed bright crimson from her abrupt closeness. He gingerly reversed himself and scooted back to his original seat.
"Um, yeah. I'm okay. Thanks for asking," he said as he looked at the table, his face still flush from being so close to her like that, mere centimeters away. He still had her natural, relaxing scent in his nose which oddly reminded him of lavender for some reason.
The young mechanic did his best to calm down as he remembered the chat he had with his parents a short while ago when they asked about the nature of their relationship. He just prayed that they did not ask her too many embarrassing questions while he was rendered temporarily incapacitated.
"You're welcome Tsukune. I'm so happy to hear that. Would you like some tea? It should help you feel better."
"Yes please," he said as she poured him a serving in his empty cup and set it down in front of him.
"Thanks Moka," the young man said a moment later.
"You're welcome."
"So – um -what did I miss?" Tsukune asked his folks as he took a sip of the warm tea.
"We were just discussing your upcoming birthday, which is next weekend," Koji said.
"That's right, so we thought we'd give you your present now since we're already here instead of mailing it to you," Kasumi said as she opened her black, leather purse and pulled out a simple, blue, envelope. She then reached across the table and handed it to her son who accepted it with a small smile.
Scribbled across the front of the envelope in kanji was written "Happy Birthday Tsukune" in his mother's handwriting.
"Go ahead, son. Open it," Koji urged with a grin. Tsukune then opened the envelope and pulled out its contents. It was a greeting card that wished him a happy birthday and was signed by his folks. On the front of the light beige card was a photo of the beach with a few seagulls flying about in a clear, blue, sky.
Inside the card was a check made out to his name in the sum of 150,000 Yen* along with a pair of tickets to – someplace. He then unfolded the tickets and was stunned at where they were for. (* $1,253.34 US dollars)
It was a hot spring resort near the beach where he had taken Moka to for their first date. Tsukune blushed hard and wondered if it was all a big joke or not.
"Thanks mom and dad, but what's with these tickets?" he asked with a quirked brow.
"You're welcome sweetie. Oh – that's for a hot springs resort and hotel. We thought that you and Moka would like to go there for your birthday," was Kasumi's upfront reply.
"Isn't that wonderful, Tsukune? I've always wanted to try out a natural hot spring," Moka said as the notion alone caused her to grin brightly.
"As a matter of fact, that's where I proposed to your mom," Koji added with a smile as he reminisced about the past.
"Um, yeah it sounds great," he said with a blush.
A weekend alone with Moka? What's not to like about that? If he played his cards right this time, he might actually get a kiss from her, he thought.
"Moka, did you know that Koji and I met at a nearby college, too? We dated for six months before he proposed to me there on the beach under the full moon. It was so romantic," Kasumi said as she thought back to that time with a happy smile.
"I see," Moka replied with a pink blush across her cheeks. Even though it was far too early to even think about that possibility, the goddess had to admit that the Onsen resort might just be the thing she needed to give him a gentle nudge to be a little closer to her.
That's what she wished for, after-all but would allow nature to take its course.
...
...
"Hey! I'm home!" came a boisterous, female voice from the front doorway.
"Great... Kyo's home. Yay," Tsukune said with a heavy sigh.
Who else would be that loud, so late anyway? Even though it was the beginning of the weekend, Kyoko had a habit of going out with her friends and co-workers every chance she had. At least she gave the couple a chance for some quality "alone time", even thought they never actually took advantage of it. Kyoko had hoped for them to get closer, ever since she had "the talk" with Moka.
"Hey! You guys started the party wit'out me!" she blurted out as she practically stumbled into the tea room and saw that her aunt and uncle had come over for an unannounced visit.
"Aunty! Uncle! I missed you guys!" Kyoko said as she walked over to the low table and gave her relatives an awkward hug from behind. She then crawled on all fours over to Tsukune and eyeballed him for a second as a devious idea promptly formed in her head.
With a wicked grin, she lunged at her male cousin and glomped him to the tatami-matted floor. Moka was dismayed to see as much and was at a total loss for words.
"Oh Tsuki! I missed you so much! Gimme a kiss, you stud!" she moaned out loud as she placed Tsukune's hands on top of her firm derriere.
"Kyo! What the hell are you – hey! Stop it! Get off me!" he objected as he pushed her off of him. Kyoko then sat up on her knees and laughed hysterically like a lunatic.
Without warning, all of the ceramic tea cups exploded in front of everyone which resulted in their drinks being sprayed all over the immediate vicinity. Koji and Kasumi jumped back as their beverages were nothing but a wet mess on top of the wooden kotatsu table.
"What the... what happened?" Kasumi asked as she looked in shock at the destroyed cups and was puzzled as to what had caused them to shatter apart like that. Tsukune then looked at Moka who had a blank look in her eyes. She then sat up and swiftly bolted out of the tea room as fast as her feet could carry her.
"See what you've done, Kyo? Stay here. I'm going after her," Tsukune quietly said with a slight glare as he jumped to his feet and chased after Moka.
"What the..." Kyoko asked as she sat up from the floor with a look of confusion. She then pulled herself to her feet and made herself scarce. She returned a minute later with a new roll of paper towels from the kitchen.
Kasumi helped her niece to carefully pick up the broken pieces of the ceramic cups, tossed them into a waste basket, and then cleaned up the spilled drinks before they stained the tabletop and tatami mats.
...
...
"Moka! Moka!" Tsukune called out as he searched the temple grounds for Moka who had ran out of the house all of a sudden. "Where did she run off to?" he asked himself.
He pinched his eyes shut in frustration for a moment and then walked towards the temple itself as he heard a soft, sobbing sound. Behind the large bell was Moka, curled up into a ball, still crying her eyes out.
"Hey, Moka?" he said as he slowly approached her, uncertain as to why she had left the house so suddenly and what had caused her to cry so heavily. He knew from experience that she was an emotional woman who was prone to crying fits whenever she was either very happy or exceptionally sad.
The raven-haired young man had not a clue what had set her off this time, though.
"Tsukune!" she yelped as she hugged him and then pushed him to the soft, grassy ground below. He wrapped his arms around her slender waist and refused to let go until she felt better. He honestly had no idea how long that would be, but he would always be there for her when she needed him the most.
"Shh... it's okay. I'm here for you," he said in a calm, soothing voice. She then buried her head onto his chest and cried even harder. He then placed his right hand on her back and lightly rubbed it in small circles as he knew it was something that would help her to relax, somewhat.
"Oh Tsukune... I'm so sorry," she said between sniffles a few, minutes, later.
"Shh... what are you apologizing for?" he asked as he still held her close.
"W-when Kyoko – pushed you * sniff * down on the floor... I – I was so upset... and it hurt my heart – so much... when I saw her on top of you – I – I don't know w-what came over me... * sniff *. I never felt that way... before. Why does it hurt my heart so much? Is something wrong with me? Please... tell me..." she asked as she sat partially up and looked at her boyfriend with swollen, tear-stained, eyes.
"Oh Moka... it could be that maybe you were jealous, I guess," he explained as he hugged her even firmer.
"I was jealous?" she asked in disbelief. "Oh... I'm so sorry!" she wailed as tears spilled from her emerald green eyes.
"Shh... there's nothing for you to apologize for. Kyo's the one who did that to me so I should say I'm sorry. Oh Moka..." he said as he held onto her even closer. He shared her pain as well and it hurt him deeply to know that she felt that way.
Goddess or not, Moka was still a woman who had profoundly fallen in love with Tsukune, even though the mortal was still blissfully unaware of as much. He loved her even more, but was reluctant to admit as much since he was still modest to some extent.
...
...
Approximately 20 minutes later, Moka eventually ceased her sobbing spell. She sat up from the ground and then pulled herself to her feet. Tsukune stood likewise, then reached over, and held her hand in his.
"Thank you for being here for me, Tsukune. I really appreciate it," she said as she avoided his gaze for a moment.
"You're welcome Moka. I'm always gonna be here for you. You do know that, right?" he asked as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Oh Tsukune," she happily replied as she released his hand and then hugged him firmly. He held her once more and knew that she felt much better. He was still not used to her being so forward, caring, and affectionate but never complained about it.
Tsukune rather enjoyed being that close to her, naturally. He was a man so being next to her was something he secretly wanted but would never say as much out loud since it was still rather embarrassing to a small degree.
"Are you feeling better now?" he asked while she pressed even closer to him.
"Yes. Thank you," she said as she reluctantly released him from her "hug of doom".
"Hey, I'm here for you Moka. What do ya' say we head back to the house now, okay?" he replied as he led her back towards their home. His dad's Kawasaki motorcycle with the attached, metallic red, side-car was still parked by the front door, so that was a good sign that his parents were still there.
"Okay Tsukune, I'm with you," she happily agreed.
As soon as they arrived back at their house, Kasumi and Koji were rather worried because Moka had run off so suddenly and not only that, but their cups had somehow been destroyed. Tsukune had no idea how to explain that to his folks and silently prayed that Kyoko did not tell them of Moka's true heritage as a Goddess from Asgard.
"We're back," Tsukune sheepishly announced as he walked into the tea room directly behind Moka, with their hands still linked.
"Everyone, I'm so sorry for running off like that," Moka said with a polite bow.
"It's okay, Moka dear. Kyoko, don't you have something to say?" Kasumi replied as she looked at her niece who slightly resembled a deer caught in somebody's car headlights.
"I'm sorry Moka. I didn't mean to play that prank on you guys. It's my fault," Kyoko said as she stood up and bowed towards Moka for forgiveness.
"Prank?" Moka asked in mild confusion.
"Yeah. I didn't mean to push Tsuki down like that and swap your regular tea cups with fake ones. That's why they broke like that. Can ya' ever forgive me?" Kyoko said with a wink of her left eye, which her aunt and uncle did not take notice of. Tsukune however caught on immediately that she wanted to cover for his girlfriend. He then gave Moka's hand an all-knowing squeeze since Kyoko had protected the Goddess's secret.
"It's okay Kyoko. I can forgive you," Moka said with a weak smile.
"Thanks Moka. Oh I almost forgot, I brought ya' something which I put in your bedroom. If it's okay, I'm gonna hit the sack now, since I had a busy night partying. It was nice seeing you aunty and uncle. Goodnight," Kyoko said with a bow as she quickly excused herself and went off to her bedroom at the end of the hall.
"Goodnight, Kyoko" Kasumi said with a sweat-drop. The Aono matriarch was not sure what her niece meant by her "prank" but let it slide since she knew Kyoko was most likely just being her silly self even though she was two years older than her son, Tsukune and would act somewhat childish most of the time even though she was a good woman at heart.
...
...
"Thanks for visiting mom and dad," Tsukune said as he stood outside the house with Moka firmly holding his hand a short time later. After her emotional breakdown earlier, he felt that it was best to hold her in a reassuring gesture.
"It was good seeing you too, sweetie. And Moka dear? Please take care of my boy, okay? I'm really counting on you," Kasumi said as she gave the young pink-haired woman a warm hug. Moka returned the affectionate embrace with a sniffle. She was rather thankful that Tsukune's parents had accepted her as their son's girlfriend.
"Of course Misses Aono. You have my word," Moka said as the two women ended their hug. Kasumi then gave Tsukune a hug a moment later.
"You take care of each other, okay sweetie? We'll see you for the holidays of course," Kasumi said once she released her son.
"Sure thing mom. We'll see you at the end of the year," he said as he held Moka's hand once again. Kasumi then climbed into the side-car of her husband's motorcycle, placed her helmet on her head, and then fastened the buckle closed.
As the elder Aono couple drove away from the temple grounds, Tsukune and Moka waved farewell to them. Tsukune was somewhat relieved that nothing too unusual took place, besides Moka's "Jealousy Storm". He would have to be on his toes in the future in order to avoid something like that. Who knew how bad it could be if it ever went out of control. He was also very appreciative that the System Force did not activate this time.
...
...
"Your parents seem very nice," Moka said as they returned to the house for the remainder of the night. After Tsukune removed his shoes, he closed and locked the front door behind himself.
"Yeah, even though they love to tease me so much. I'm just glad they liked you Moka," he said with a heavy sigh as they walked past the tea room.
"I see. Well they meant no harm Tsukune. I'm relieved, myself," she said as she turned off the overhead lamp.
"Hey, what did Kyo bring you?" Tsukune asked as they walked halfway down the hallway towards their bedrooms.
"Oh, she told me yesterday that she had some clothes for me that she no longer wore, since I use my magic to make different outfits everyday. It would save me a great deal of power if I wore clothing like a normal woman," she explained as she slid her bedroom door open.
Moka then turned to her right and switched on the overhead light. Next to her futon bed were three, large, shopping bags filled with all sorts of girly clothes.
"I see. That was nice of her and I guess it would make sense," he said with a nervous laugh.
Moka then sat on her bed as she rummaged through the bags to see what Kyoko had brought for her. She then patted a spot on her mattress and silently requested that Tsukune have a seat next to her.
"Oh my, so pretty. Oh this would be nice for our trip," Moka commented as she inspected each article of clothing with keen interest. She neatly placed the different sorts of clothing into respective piles based upon their type, whether it be a dress, skirt, blouse, stockings, or whatnot.
"Hey, most of this stuff looks new. See? Some of them still have labels attached," Tsukune pointed out.
"Oh, I can see that. Well it would seem to me that Kyoko doesn't like to dress up very much," Moka surmised as she gathered several items up with her magic and hung them up in her closet without even touching them.
"Moka..." he said with a sigh.
"It's alright. Nobody's around," Moka replied as she hung up via her magic, the rest of the clothing which she could not wait to try on. She even placed several packages of new underpants and bras into her dresser, likewise. The goddess silently hoped that the underwear actually fit her since she was rather 'blessed' where it counted the most and had quite a curvaceous figure.
"I guess you have a point. Anyway, um... are you gonna be okay – tonight?" he said as she folded the now-empty bags in half and tidily placed them next to her dresser. He knew it was already late at night and she had a somewhat stressful evening.
He wanted to be absolutely sure that she would be alright since she had a tradition of sneaking into his futon bed during the middle of the night. He really did not mind as he never wanted to see her sad. The reason being is she often had bad dreams from when she was isolated in the darkness of Purgatory over seven years ago.
"Well, since you brought it up..." she softly replied as she nervously poked her index fingers together.
He knew by that simple yet adorable gesture that it was something she really wanted. Even though they had slept in the same room or bed several times, it was reasonably, somewhat embarrassing for the goddess. The abbreviated answer was that she simply wanted to be near him.
"It's okay Moka. I know you had a rough evening, so you can if you really want to," he said with a warm smile that eased her heart. She then blushed hard at his generous offer and then returned the smile.
"Thank you Tsukune. I'll get changed and be there shortly. No peeking, okay?" she said with a wink that caused him to blush even harder. He then stood up from her bed and made it to her door in a second.
'Oh man, she's way too cute for her own good,' he mused.
"Um... no problem. I'll see you in a bit," he said as he quickly excused himself after he slid her door closed and then walked across the hall to his own bedroom.
...
...
As Tsukune laid in his bed, he thought to himself how attractive Moka was. She was most definitely, extremely beautiful. Without a doubt, he wanted to be closer to her but like she had said earlier, they were in no rush to further their relationship so soon. He was reasonably content knowing that she would be there for him and felt rather blessed just to be next to her.
Sure the young woman was rather forward when it came to being affectionate, but he came to learn that's just the way she was. However, he still felt nervous around her to a small degree. He also knew that if he wanted to get closer to her, that he would have to somehow get over his shyness, phobias, and hesitation.
Tsukune felt more comfortable around her now than he had when they first moved into the temple just over two, short months ago. Moka had helped him somewhat since she was so easy to be around more or less. But he knew that something still held him back: the gnawing fear of rejection and loneliness.
Tsukune's train of thought soon came to a halt as Moka gently tapped on his bedroom door a few minutes later.
"Come in Moka," he said with a creak in his voice. When she slid the door open, Tsukune had to hold both hands over his nose before he had a massive nosebleed all over his room.
Moka wore a white nightgown which hugged her voluptuous frame but was not too snug around her bosom or hips. It had a slight "V neck" design, which showed a bit of her cleavage. The hem of the shiny, satiny garment rested several centimeters above her knees. He also noticed that her hair was loosened from her ponytail and flowed down past her knees per her nightly habit.
"Hello Tsukune," she said as she held her pink pillow in front of her. Tsukune was unable to reply since his brain was moderately overloaded from seeing her look so cute. Not getting a reply from her boyfriend, she slid the bedroom door closed and then walked over to his futon bed.
She then knelt down and sat next to him on her knees.
"Tsukune, does this look okay on me?" the goddess asked with hesitation as she bit her lower lip, which caused Tsukune's heart to pound madly in his chest.
"Yeah. You look really cute Moka," he finally said with a profuse blush.
"Oh thank you. I've never worn anything like this before and I was not sure if it would look good on me or not," she said as she placed her soft pillow next to his. She then laid down on the plush mattress and pulled the blue, microfiber blanket over themselves.
"Uh, anytime Moka," he said as he turned to his left and closed his eyes for a moment.
"Tsukune? Is something bothering you?" she inquired.
"Um, not really. Just tired I guess," he lied.
"Tsukune, please look at me for a moment."
Not wanting to upset her, he did as requested by his pink-haired girlfriend.
"Tsukune, do you not like me?"
"What? Of course I like you Moka. You know I do," he interjected as he reached over and held her hands.
"Then why – why do you avoid me sometime?" she asked with a hint of sadness.
"What – I'm not avoiding you. I'm just tired... Moka... you know I like you..." he stuttered out, unsure what she was trying to say.
"I know... it's just... your mother said something tonight that made me think," she said as she squeezed his hand lightly.
"She was only joking Moka. If you hadn't noticed, she does that a lot," he dryly replied.
"I know that. But still..." she said as she looked away from him for a moment. He then sat up and moved a bit closer to her. Caught off-guard by his sudden nearness, she sat up as well.
"Moka, what's really bothering you?" he asked as he gazed into her emerald green orbs. The only light was that of the full moon, which shone its soft light through the sheer curtains that covered the bedroom window.
'She looks even more beautiful than ever,' he thought.
"It's just that... I was wondering... if – if you would want to maybe – kiss me someday," she boldly professed. Tsukune gulped hard when he heard her say that and thought that maybe he had either misheard or if she had mispronounced a word or two. Yeah, that had to be it, right?
"I'm sorry. I don't think I understood that. Did you ask me if I wanna... k-k-k-kiss you?" he stammered out.
"Yes. I want to kiss you Tsukune," was her straightforward reply.
"Oh Moka. If you want the truth, then yeah. I've had an overwhelming urge to k-kiss you since you first became my girlfriend, but..." he said with a heavy sigh as he stared off into space for a moment. He had no idea how their conversation had arrived at that topic but he knew he had to at least be honest with her. After-all, that was the basis of any good relationship, no matter how strangely it started out.
Having an immortal goddess as your girlfriend was the very definition of strange.
"But what, Tsukune? Please tell me what's bothering you. Whatever it is, I can help you get through it."
"But you're a – goddess."
"Oh... Tsukune – that is true, but do you not see me as a woman as well? I'm your girlfriend and I care about you so very much. Can you not see that I do?" she said as she scooted a bit closer to him.
"But that's just because of my wish and our contract," he sadly retorted.
"What I told your mother before was the truth, Tsukune. The contract does not matter because I care about you so much that it hurts," she said as she sat up from her spot, turned towards her left, and then slowly crawled onto his lap.
"Moka, what are you doing?" he anxiously inquired.
"I'm going to help you get over your shyness and hesitation, Tsukune. I know that you had been deeply hurt in the past and I want to help make that pain go away that you still hold onto. I also know that I can be quite – forward - with my affections, but I just want to be closer to you. Is that not what you desire the most as well? Is that not what boyfriends and girlfriends do to show that they care about each other? Is that not a natural part of any romantic relationship? Do you not believe what I say is the truth? Do you not trust me?" she said as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and gently pulled him into her large, soft, bosom.
"Oh Moka. I'm so sorry," he said with a tear as he finally gave in to her honest words.
She was absolutely right though and he knew she had made several, valid points.
Tsukune never had an ecchi thought about her and respected her since the moment she popped into his life. He was merely terrified of being rejected and forever alone; those somber thoughts had prevented him from moving forward and Moka knew it. Even his mother Kasumi knew that he was greatly hurt before, on more than one occasion.
The young, pink-haired woman honestly desired to assist him get over his phobia of being alone and mend his severely fracture heart, no matter how long it took.
"It's okay Tsukune. I'm here for you," she whispered as she hummed an un-named tune.
...
...
Several minutes later, he felt much better due to her affectionate care. He then pried his face from her warm bosom and offered her a small smile.
"Thanks Moka," he said as she continued to sit on his lap, content not to move anytime soon.
"You're welcome, Tsukune," she said with a bashful glance.
'Oh man, she looks so cute tonight... maybe... I – I guess it couldn't hurt, right? I mean, she wants to kiss me... man, I'm so nervous right now... But this is what I want too... well, here it goes,' he quietly thought to himself.
He then surprised the young woman in his arms as he timidly leaned forward, just centimeters from her pink, plump, lips.
"Please... kiss me, Tsukune," she softly petitioned.
"This is my first kiss," he whispered as he gently caressed her cheek with his right hand.
"It's mine as well," she breathed out as her heart hammered heavily in her abundant bosom as he came closer and closer.
The moment their lips touched, Tsukune's bedroom was illuminated by a soft, golden light.
'Oh my goodness, I'm kissing Tsukune! Oh, how I wanted this for so long. We're actually kissing! Ah, Tsukune... I feel so free... yes!' Moka cheered to herself.
'Her lips are so soft. Oh man, I dunno if I can hold out any longer. Moka... she feels so warm and smells great...' Tsukune thought as he relished the moment.
As their kiss intensified, Tsukune believed he were actually floating on air as his pituitary gland unleashed a torrent of endorphins into his body and felt a large wave of euphoria wash over him. It was the first time he had ever felt that in such a way and admitted that it was indeed a rather pleasurable experience that he would not mind repeating very soon.
"Oh Tsukune... please... more..." Moka gasped, in-between kisses.
"Moka... my sweet Moka..."
...
...
Several minutes later, the pair broke for life-giving oxygen since they needed to breathe before either one of them passed out.
"Wow," they said in unison which caused them to blush yet again.
"Ah – Tsukune. That was... incredible," the goddess said as her arms went limp. She herself had felt the compelling aftereffects of their euphoric first kiss. He held her close and desperately craved to kiss her again, but it was at least a start, right?
No use pushing his current string of good luck.
"Um, thanks. You were amazing too, Moka," he said as he attempted to slow his pounding heart as he still felt as though her lips were still upon his own. The same warm sensation lingered for several minutes as he did his best to relax but found it rather challenging to do so. There was no way he would ever forget their first kiss.
Moka reluctantly sat up from is lap a moment later and then laid down with her head on her pillow; her lips still tingling from their first time as an honest-to-goodness couple. Tsukune laid down next to her and found it hard to believe he just experienced his first kiss with not only who he considered his best friend, but his girlfriend as well.
He also had found it quite difficult to not grin like an idiot. I mean, who could blame him, right?
Moka was beyond ecstatic as she basked in the afterglow of their kiss and still felt exceedingly giddy. She could sense the bond of love between themselves blossom into something even bigger than she could ever hope for or imagine.
Kissing someone not only forms a strong bond between the two, but also helps relieve stress and even fight off illnesses. Not only that, but it was fun to do as an added bonus.
Moka felt as though she could take on the dark forces of Niflheim itself! She then turned to her left and faced her love. Yes, the pink-haired deity knew without a doubt that she had fallen madly in love with a mortal who saw her not as a goddess but as a woman. He then gently pulled her closer and held her protectively.
"Oh Tsukune..." she purred as she closed her eyes and went over the events of the past half hour.
"Moka, I promise you that I'll never let go of you for as long as I live," he said as he felt another irresistible desire to kiss her again and again. But he could wait. After-all, they still had a lot more to learn about one another. No matter how bizarre their life was, it was bound to become even more interesting as they were covertly observed by a certain someone, up in Asgard.
Moka blushed hard yet again after what Tsukune had just told her and had a troublesome time organizing her thoughts as she attempted to calm herself down within reason.
'Oh my gosh... that sounded almost like... a – a – no! What am I thinking?! He's still excited from our first kiss. That must be the reason why he said that even though it was very sweet of him. I mean... we're just girlfriend and boyfriend. But we're getting a little closer to each other. It's only natural that I want to be closer and kiss him over and over again. It was so – I don't even know how to describe it! Ah, I could really get used to this and stay here for days,' Moka thought with a blissful smile to herself as she nuzzled up to her one-and-only.
'What the heck am I saying? That almost sounded like a marriage proposal! What the hell's wrong with me?! I'm just wound-up from our first kiss. That has to be it. That's right! We're just boyfriend and girlfriend! But this is a start I guess. What she said was true. This is what couples do when they're in a romantic relationship. It's only natural to want to be closer. Oh man, she feels so warm next to me. I could really get used to this," Tsukune thought as he held her a bit firmer, yet still gently.
...
...
A few minutes later, Moka decided to end the awkward silence as she looked up to her beau with a loving smile.
"Tsukune... how are you feeling?"
"I feel great Moka. Really happy," he replied with a tear in his eye. Moka focused her powers for a moment and saw that his aura was bright yellow, which told her that he was indeed happy. So much that he even shed a few tears of pure joy. She pulled herself closer to him and held him lovingly.
"As do I Tsukune. You've made me so happy... words are inadequate for how I feel right now," she said in a whisper.
"Oh Moka... you've made me the happiest man in the world," he replied likewise.
"Tsukune..." she said as she softly kissed him full on the lips once again, just for a moment. He then smiled once more as he closed his eyes and thought just how blessed he was to have Moka as his girlfriend. He realized that he smiled the more time he spent with his girl. Her sunny disposition almost seemed to be infectious, he thought.
"Why don't we try to get some sleep, Tsukune?" the goddess suggested with a yawn.
"I don't think I can... I'm way too excited," he admitted with a content sigh.
"I understand... but do try, okay? I promise you that I'm not going anywhere for the remainder of the night," she said as she cuddled up to him.
"Moka... okay. I guess I'm a little tired. Kissing you took a lot out of me," he teased.
"Oh Tsukune. Stop it. You're embarrassing me," she said as she pressed her still-warm body closer to him which only furthered his arousal.
"Sorry about that, but it's true," he said as she decided to use his chest as a pillow. He then took her silent cue, wrapped his right arm around the small of her back, and then held her affectionately. She then placed her left hand on his shoulder and left it there for the time being. Moka smiled brightly since she was relieved to see that her boyfriend seemed to be a bit bolder since they first kissed.
Before either young adult realized it, they had fallen into the gentle pull of slumber. Whatever their future held, they would face it together. Even if their house became a home for wayward family members, they would welcome them with open arms.

Author's Note:
Wow. This chapter went on much longer than I had planned but it came out better than I had hoped. Yes, Tsukune and Moka had their fist kiss. I know it was kind of sudden and I hinted at it several times throughout this chapter, but since I decided to further their relationship, I bumped the rating up to M.
However like I mentioned at the start of this chapter, there will NOT be any Lemons until the end of the story which is still a long way off from now. They will only kiss, hold hands, hug, and share a bed from now on. It's all very innocent as far as I'm concerned. I just think it's best for them to be honest with their emotions from now on since Moka was the one to "get the ball rolling" if it were.
Heck, even Keiichi and Belldandy kissed, held hands, hugged, and shared a bed several times in the original 'Ah My Goddess' manga series which this is loosely based upon.
