Author's Note:

Sorry once again for the lateness of yet another chapter.

My ex-girlfriend, Reena, was in town from June 26th until July 5th... so her Aunt wanted me to hang out with her and it went well with no, major drama... thankfully.

A quick shout-out to Toroka25 on deviantArt for his help with a certain, upcoming, plot element which this chapter will lead into. Much thanks!

Anyway, here's part 2 of the new arc which started with the previous chapter!

Please enjoy. Any and all feedback and reviews are always welcomed and appreciated.

...

Sunday morning, June 28th, Tariki Hongan Temple, Nekomi Japan.

Since Moka and Tsukune had an emotional night of bonding together, they had gone to sleep rather late.

It was nearly 10 o'clock in the morning before the couple finally decided to crawl out of their warm futon bed and see what her sisters were up to. It was the Norns last day on Earth before they had to head back to Asgard due to the Almighty One's emergency recall notice.

Everyone in the household was not happy with the sudden news but one particular resident had taken it the hardest. The one who always had an upbeat and positive attitude.

Moka, the Norn of the Present.

"Good morning, you two. I see that ya' slept well, even though you were kinda loud last night," Kurumu teased as Tsukune and Moka ambled into the tea room, hands linked per their usual custom.

"Oh, good morning, sister," Moka replied with a blush as Tsukune took to his usual spot at the low, wooden table with Kurumu across from him and Yukari on his left.

"Hmph!" Yukari complained with a slight scowl across her brow.

"What's got your panties in a bunch, runt? I'm glad they had a good night, if ya' ask me," the blue-haired goddess replied with a smirk.

"Why don't you just be quiet? Nobody asked for your stupid opinion! I had a hard time falling asleep because of what you said last night, as it was!" Yukari shouted back.

"Hey, I'm just statin' the facts here. It's true that you guys were kinda loud last night and I was gonna come and join ya', but Moka woulda been mad at me for suggesting such a thing," Kurumu teased as she winked at Tsukune which made him blush hard at the very notion.

"You're such a perverted tramp, Kurumu!" Yukari yelled.

"That's 'Goddess of Love' to you, squirt," her elder sister replied as she thrust out her ample chest in a display of adult superiority.

"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Moka shouted which caused everyone to go wide-eyed and cover their ears.

"Now, why don't I go and make breakfast as I'm sure you're all hungry. After that, I'd like to spend a quiet day alone with Tsukune," Moka said as she bent down and gave her beau a kiss on his right cheek which caused him to lightly blush at the affectionate gesture.

"Hey, what's all the ruckus about? I gotta splittin' headache," Kyoko said as she nearly stumbled into Moka as she left the tea room and headed towards the kitchen in order to prepare breakfast.

"Sorry about that Kyoko. I have just the thing for you," Moka said as she grabbed her hand and led her towards the kitchen.

"* sigh * Do you girls have to fight every, single, day? Can't you see that Moka's upset about this whole thing? Do you have any idea how much she's hurting because of the recall notice?" Tsukune said as he placed his hands over his face in utter frustration.

"I'm sorry Tsukune. This isn't easy for me either. I really like it here and – you've been really nice to me and – you know..." Yukari said with a sniffle.

"Yeah, I'm sorry too. But like I told ya' last night, we shouldn't be gone that long, I think," Kurumu said with a bow.

"Hey, it's fine. I know... and it'll be a lot harder for me too. But I gotta stay strong for Moka's sake. And I hope you're right about that, Kurumu. I'm really gonna miss you girls, especially... Moka," Tsukune said as he chocked back a sob.

"I still don't understand why ya' gotta go back to Asgard though," Kyoko said to Moka who stood over the kitchen stove as she cooked a hearty breakfast for the household.

"It's a direct order from Him, Kyoko. He told Kurumu that the Demons are planning an attack on Yggdrasil. I don't want to go back myself, but I don't have a say in the matter," Moka replied with a tear in the corner of her left eye which she quickly wiped away with her apron.

"I still don't like it Moka. And what about Tsuki's wish? Are ya' just gonna forget about it?" Kyoko said as she grabbed Moka by her shoulders and forced her to look at her.

"I don't like it either, Kyoko! I love Tsukune with every fiber of my being! I will return to his side as soon as this matter with the Demons is settled. The contract between us is still valid. Even without the contract, I would still remain here because I love him! I don't want to leave either but the order from Him is final," the pink-haired goddess said as she slumped forward and gently sobbed. Kyoko pulled Moka into a comforting hug and held her until she calmed down.

"Hey Moka? Do ya' need a hand with – Kyoko?" Tsukune said as he walked into the kitchen to see what took breakfast so long since his stomach loudly grumbled for food, much to his chagrin.

"Oh Tsukune!" Moka replied as she pried herself from Kyoko's hug and quickly embraced her one-and-only. He held her firmly, hugged her for all he was worth, and refused to let go of her, any time soon.

Once that awkwardness was behind the couple and breakfast was eaten, they just sat in comfortable silence as everyone shared a pot of Darjeeling tea which was Moka's favorite.

"So, um, Moka?" Tsukune asked as he set his hand upon her own and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"Oh yes, Tsukune?" the goddess replied, still deeply, lost in thought.

"I was wondering... is there... uh, anything that you'd like to do today? Anything at all?" he inquired with a smile that somewhat, eased the storm of uneasiness in her throbbing heart.

"Well, since you asked – I was wondering if – we could... what I want to say is..." she replied with a hint of anxiety in her usually, cheerful, voice.

"It's okay, big sis. If you want some time alone with Tsukune I understand," Yukari said with a sympathetic smile.

"I gotta agree and Yukari does make a good point. If you guys wanna fool around all day, then I'm cool with that," Kurumu added with a wink and grin.

"Kurumu! What the heck? That's not what I meant," the goddess-in-training replied with a sweat-drop, but decided to use her indoor voice instead of making a huge fuss like she normally would.

Meanwhile, Moka blushed bright red as she gave her older sister's idea some thought.

"Big sis! Please don't tell me that you're actually debating about - going back to bed... all day?" Yukari replied.

"Well... maybe," Moka answered as she poked her index fingers together out of nervous habit.

"I don't believe it. You're turning into Kurumu," Yukari said with a look of shock and disappointment.

She knew that her big sister Moka loved Tsukune, but was still wary of their relationship and how close they've grown since their contract was first finalized and approved by the Almighty One himself.

"What the hell's that s'posed to mean?" Kurumu asked with annoyance.

"Because it's true. You're a bad influence on big sis and still dress like a common trollop!"

"Oh is that so? And do pray-tell, what would you know anyway, ya' little troublemaker? You're flat as an ironing board and always will be! Damn it. I'm tryin' to help her out and all you're doin' is holdin' her back from getting what she wants."

"Sisters, please. No bickering," Moka said with a sigh as she grew impatient and was at her wits end.

"Hey Moka? Why don't we go out on a date?" Tsukune quickly interjected before she dragged him off to bed and took advantage of their time together.

Or blasted her sisters through the ceiling with one of her powerful wind spells.

"A date?" Moka enthusiastically answered with a twinkle in her emerald-green eyes.

"Yeah. I mean, ya' know. It'd be nice to get out of the house and do something, like go to the beach... and - maybe have another picnic, if ya' wanna," Tsukune suggested.

"Oh yes. I'd really like that Tsukune. As long as we're alone, of course," Moka happily agreed as she stared at Kurumu, Yukari, and Kyoko.

She did not mind if they tagged along, but she wanted more than anything to have all of Tsukune's attention to herself. Moka also knew that she had acted somewhat selfish, but if she denied her true, honest, feelings, then she'd only be lying to herself.

"Hey, don't look at me. I gotta head off to meet some friends anyway, so you two go out and have some fun," Kyoko replied as she sat up from her seated position and bolted towards her bedroom which was located at the end of the long hallway.

"I still have some packing to do so you go and have a nice date, big sis," Yukari said as she made herself scarce before she broke down herself. She had said too much earlier and did not wish to make Moka any more upset than she already was.

"What? I already packed up a few things last night, since we're not gonna be gone too long anyway," Kurumu said as she waved her hands on front of her in a defensive manner.

Approximately an hour later, Tsukune patiently waited for Moka in the tea room since he had finished getting ready, first, for their impromptu date.

He decided to go casual and wore a dark pair of denim jeans along with a simple, white, cotton, button-down shirt. The ebony-haired male somehow managed to comb his always-messy mane into a more manageable style with aid from his hair gel and trusty hairdryer.

"Hello Tsukune," Moka said as she walked into the tea room.

The goddess wore a sundress, light-yellow in color which hugged her flawless figure without showing too much skin. The hem of the soft material rested several centimeters above her knees and showed off her well-toned, beautiful legs.

A moment later, she then set the packed picnic basket on the tatami-matted, floor.

"Oh hey, Moka. You look very beautiful," he said as he stood up and then pulled her into a brief hug.

"Thank you Tsukune. You look quite handsome, yourself," she muttered as they ended their quick embrace.

"Anytime and thanks. Um, I guess we should head out as it's kind of a long drive," he said as he reached down and picked up the picnic basket as Moka held onto the blanket they would use.

"A long drive, you say?" she inquired as they walked towards the front door.

"Well, yeah. It's kind of a – surprise," he said as she slid the door open and allowed her to step outside, first. He then slid the door closed as he stood by her side. They walked down the walkway, the stairs, and then over to his classic Beemer motorcycle which was parked in front of the Temple grounds, itself.

...

"So, no hints?" Moka asked as she set the blanket in the side-car, next to the picnic basket.

"Um, well. You'll see. Trust me, Moka. It'll be worth the wait," Tsukune said as he buckled his helmet in place. Moka mimicked the action and then sat down behind him on the long, leather seat.

"Okay Tsukune. I do trust you of course. I'm just curious as to where we're going," she replied as he inserted the key into the ignition and started the motorcycle's engine.

"Thanks Moka. We're gonna have a great time," he said as he flipped the kickstand up with his right foot.

Moka then wrapped her arms around his waist and held him tight as he placed the gears in drive and headed eastward, down the street.

Leaving the house early was a wise decision since it was the last weekend of July and many travelers still packed the roadways of Japan as they went about their individual vacations and gatherings.

Nearly an hour later they finally drew close to their destination.

Once Moka realized where they were, she brightly smiled that dazzling smile she was known for. He had taken her to Shirako Beach, near Nakazato, Japan in the far, eastern-most section of Chiba prefecture which overlooked the vast Pacific Ocean.

It was the very same beach they had their first date at.

The southernmost tip of the beach was not nearly as packed as the remainder, which Tsukune was rather grateful for. He wanted to spend as much alone time with Moka as he could before she went home for an undetermined, amount of time.

As soon as they were parked in an empty space of the paved lot, Tsukune placed the engine in park, turned it off, and then removed the keys. He quickly stuffed them into the left, front, pocket of his jeans.

Moka hopped off the bike first, removed her helmet, and then placed it on seat of the motorbike, followed by Tsukune.

"Thank you for bringing me here, Tsukune," the goddess said as she reached over to and held his free hand in her own.

"It's not a problem, Moka. I really wanted to bring you somewhere special," he replied as he gently pulled her closer.

"And this place is special to us, isn't it?" she asked as she gazed into his chocolate-brown eyes as a wave of nostalgia washed over her like a warm, ocean, breeze.

Talk about ironic, since they were actually by the ocean itself as a gentle wind drifted inland.

"Yeah. It is. And it makes me really happy to know that it means as much to you as it does to me, Moka."

"Oh, Tsukune," she replied as she shed a few tears of joy along with a bit of sorrow. Moka knew in her heart that he tried his best to show his true feelings, which she was rather proud of. He then gently caressed her right cheek with his left hand.

"I love you Moka. And I always will. No matter what happens, I'll wait for you for as long as it takes," Tsukune said as he leaned forward and captured her satiny, soft lips in a heated kiss. Moved by his bold gesture, the pink-haired goddess deepened their kiss with great exuberance.

After the couple ended their longer-than-average kiss several, minutes later, they soon discovered a decent spot to place their blanket under a short, yet wide, palm tree which offered a generous amount of shade for the fair-skinned Goddess.

They unrolled the blanket and set it atop the sand. Tsukune removed his shoes followed by Moka and sat down on the blanket as he felt more at ease since she seemed to be in better spirits, than compared to earlier.

He wanted more than anything for her to have a memorable time and would do whatever he could to be sure of that even though a few, other, couples had similar ideas, it would seem.

Moka then scooted closer to Tsukune and nuzzled her head gently against his left shoulder. She then placed her right hand atop his lap and left it there for the time being. Tsukune nearly jumped when he realized where her hand was and said not a word about it.

He took the not-so-subtle hint, wrapped his left arm around her shoulder, and hugged her from the side.

"Ne, Tsukune?"

"Yes, Moka?"

"This is nice, isn't it?"

"Yeah. It's a perfect day and I'm with a perfect woman."

"Oh Tsukune. Stop it. You're embarrassing me."

"Well it's the truth. I wouldn't have said it if it weren't, Moka."

"I know, love. I feel truly blessed to have met you, Tsukune. Ever since I arrived here, you've taught me so much about not only yourself, but about living like a normal human. And you've loved and accepted me, for who I am, despite my past. Thank you Tsukune."

"I'm the lucky one, Moka. You came into my life and filled that emptiness that I held onto for such a long time and helped me to get over a broken heart. You've been such a big influence in my life and I feel like a different person. You've also accepted me and loved me for who I am. I wouldn't be where I am now, if it weren't for you, my princess."

"Oh Tsukune... that's so sweet. Um, would you grant me – just one wish?"

"Uh, sure Moka. I'll do my best," he said with a warm smile. He was still caught off-guard by her peculiar request, but would make it a truly, memorable, wish.

"Please kiss me," she softly petitioned as she sat up, fluttered her eyes closed, and pursed her pink, pouty, lips.

"Of course, beautiful," he said as he turned to face her and did as requested.

...

Lips still locked, Moka sat up and then turned to her right. She then sat upon his lap and then wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Tsukune was lost in the moment and pushed any remaining thoughts aside. He held Moka around her slender waist as their tongues wrestled playfully.

'I don't want this moment to end, my dear, sweet, Tsukune,' Moka thought to herself as she became not only lightheaded but rather aroused, as well.

'I can't believe we're kissing like this out in public but her lips are so soft... oh Moka. I don't want to let you go!' Tsukune yelled in his mind as he felt just as aroused if not more-so.

"Ah, Tsukune..." Moka panted out a few minutes later, clearly out of breath. With a profuse blush across her pale cheeks, she sat up and returned to her original spot on his left-hand side.

"Wow," her boyfriend replied with a slight blush himself.

"Would you like something to eat?" Moka asked as she at up and opened up the picnic basket.

"Sure Moka. Thanks."

"You're most welcome," she replied with a smile as she pulled out a thermos of green tea, two cups and plates, as well as a packed bento.

...

Lunch consisted of onigari (rice balls) stuffed with fresh tuna, rolled omelets, turkey, ham, and Swiss cheese sandwiches along with Rice Krispy treats and green-tea Kit Kat's for desert.

As the couple ate, they just talked about all the fun times they had experienced together since that fateful night four months ago when she appeared in his dormitory room. Accidental phone-call or not, Moka was very happy to be reunited with her childhood friend, Tsukune.

Over 12 years later, she never forgot their first meeting and the promise they made to each other. The pink-haired goddess silently prayed that their promise would someday, come to fruition, even though Tsukune's memory from that time and event was long, sealed away.

...

Several hours later, the happy couple finally returned home. Kurumu and Yukari were already changed into their Asgardian, Goddess, robes. Kurumu's was purple with black trim and Yukari's was pink and red with white trim.

"It's about time ya' got home. Did you guys have a good time and get all hot and bothered?" Kurumu asked with a catlike grin.

"Sister, please. We had a very nice time, thank you. We just kissed and cuddled a little bit," Moka admitted with a hard blush across her cheeks.

"Good. That's all I wanted to hear. And um, Moka, we gotta go soon. It's almost time," Kurumu said as she pointed at the old clock which hung on the far wall of the tea room.

"Oh yes. You're right, sister."

With a sad look and a wave of her hand, Moka changed into her blue and white robes with the gold, saw-tooth, design. Her long, pink, hair was then held back into a ponytail, wrapped with a lavender scarf. On her hands she wore blue, finger-less, gloves. Her jewelry re-materialized as well. Several rings and bangles adorned her dainty fingers and wrists.

"Hey, you! No peeking while big sis changes!" Yukari protested as she placed both of her hands over Tsukune's eyes, even though he had seen her nude before. It was not really a big deal to him, after-all.

"Hey! I'm home! You goddesses still here?" Kyoko announced rather boisterously as she walked into the tea room.

"Oh hey, Kyo," Tsukune said with a frown.

"I guess we should head outside since the Gate's about to open,' Moka said as she walked over to Tsukune, held his right hand, led him down the hallway and outside via the front door.

Kurumu and Yukari stood in the center of the courtyard which was in-between the house and the Temple as they waited for their eventual departure.

"Tsukune, please remember that I love you and will return very soon. You have my word, okay?" Moka said with a small smile. The only light was that of the silvery moon which hung low in the eastern sky and caused her to look even more beautiful than ever.

"I know Moka, and I love you too. I'll wait for you... no matter how long it is," he said as he gave her a firm hug and held her close.

"Oh Tsukune... I love you and will miss you so very much," Moka said as she sobbed against his shoulder.

"I know Moka. Shh. It's okay. You know ya' can call me anytime, right?" he whispered into her right ear which shot a tingle of pleasure down her spine.

"Thank you for understanding, Tsukune. I shall call you once I find out what's going on in Asgard," she whispered back as she gave him a firm squeeze around his waist.

Before he could reply, a bright, magenta, light swirled around, high above in the atmosphere.

It was the Gate which was a part of the Bifrost and connected the nine realms.

Tsukune reluctantly released his girlfriend as she walked over to and joined her sisters as they looked skyward.

"Hey, don't worry kiddo. We'll be back before ya' know it," Kurumu said with a small smile.

"Thanks again Tsukune. Like the milk-cow said, we'll be back really soon, okay?" Yukari replied likewise.

He just offered the sisters a small smile of appreciation and heartfelt sincerity.

"I love you Tsukune and will see you very soon," Moka said as several tears streaked down her beautiful face.

"I love you Moka. I'll see you soon, too," he answered as he took a few, steps, back and stood next to his cousin, Kyoko.

The three sisters then vanished in a stream of pinkish-violet light; the ground beneath where they stood, scorched from the Gate.

"Hey, you gonna be okay, Tsuki?" Kyoko asked out of concern.

"Yeah, I'll be okay," he said as he turned and faced her with tear-stained eyes.

"It's fine Tsuki. Moka always tells the truth so I know she'll be back soon," she said as she gave her cousin a warm, family, hug.

"Thanks, Kyo. You're right. I guess we should head in now," he said a moment later as they ended their brief hug.

"Hey, what's that? A shooting star?" Kyoko asked as something in the night sky, had caught her attention. Tsukune then looked skyward and saw for himself what she had referred to.

"Looks like a meteor to me, if I had to take a guess," he replied.

"Well, it looks like a lot of them. See?" Kyoko said as several 'meteors' streaked across the inky sky, just as they reached the front door of the house.

"That's weird. I didn't think the Perseids meteor shower was so early," he said as he slid the door open and stepped inside after Kyoko.

"Really?" Kyoko asked as he slid and locked the door behind himself.

"Yeah. It's not until mid-August, I think."

"I see. So, uh, you gonna be okay? I mean... tonight?" Kyoko asked again, just to be sure. She knew that her cousin and Moka had been nearly inseparable and was merely worried about his overall, well-being.

"Uh, yeah. I'll be good but thanks for asking. I'm gonna hit the sack now," Tsukune said as he walked towards his and Moka's shared bedroom.

"Okay Tsuki – if ya' say so. If ya' ever wanna talk, you can always count on me. Goodnight then."

"Thanks. Goodnight, Kyo," he said as he stepped into the bedroom and closed the door for the night.

'Hang in there, Tsuki. I have a hunch that Moka and her sisters will be back soon... I hope,' Kyoko thought to herself as she walked into her own bedroom and closed the door.

...

As the two, Aono relatives eventually fell asleep, several realms away, an Asgardian alarm blared which brought several Valkyries to attention. It would seem that a weapon of sorts had gone missing and there was no indication of a forced entry of any sort into the weapons vault.

Back on Midgard, or Earth as it was commonly called by its inhabitants, a golden colored bolt of lightning shot down from the heavens and struck the grass-covered ground with a thunderous clap.

* KA-THOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM! *

It would seem that the missing spear of Odin had landed in the back yard of a quiet temple in a sleepy, college town, somewhere on the main island of Honshu, in eastern Japan.

The name of the golden spear was Gungnir.

A lone figure exited the small abode next to the temple and approached the strange-looking, object. He reached out and touched its shaft, out of curiosity. He then fell to the ground as his mind saw something from a time, so many years ago.

...

12 years ago. Nekomi, Japan

While playing outside the home of his grandparent's, one sunny August day, a young Tsukune Aono, who was just ten years old at that time, suddenly saw a strange, pink light contrasted against the azure blue of the sky and the white, puffy, clouds.

It descend from the sky and into a local forest, just behind an old, Buddhist Temple.

Curious as he was at that innocent, young, age, Tsukune followed that ball of pink light to where it landed and was quite surprised to find a young girl who seemed to be around the same age as himself.

She was dressed in very strange clothing with bright, pink hair and dazzling green eyes... unlike anyone he had ever seen in his brief life.

The cute little girl was somewhat startled at his sudden presence.

She then waved and smiled at him. As she came closer to inspect the young Japanese boy, she finally spoke.

"Why, hello there! My name's Moka! Nice to meet you!" she said as she smiled brighter.

"Are you - um - an – angel?" he inquired as he stepped back a bit, startled by her sudden closeness when he saw just how cute she was.

"Why no, silly. I'm not an angel. I'm a Goddess!" she happily replied to his question.

"Oh, I see," he quietly replied, caught off-guard by her strange reply.

He had no idea who or what a Goddess was at that age, but she seemed to be very friendly and nice to be near.

"My name's – Tsukune Aono... nice to m-meet you, too," he said as he stuck out his right hand, as she shook it enthusiastically in return.

"This is very strange...", she started, "...no human should ever be able to see that light. Oh! I know! You must be a friend of Nature then!" she bubbly replied, as she let out a little innocent laugh.

The two children became fast friends and played daily by the old Temple on top of the hill for nearly a week. It was the best time that young Tsukune ever experienced and the little Goddess who was named Moka was the first real friend he ever made.

He was so happy. As was she, since he treated her like a normal girl, despite her strange origin and claim of being a Goddess.

Tsukune never questioned her again about being a Goddess, or asked where she came from - or why she was there, as she stood in the middle of the forest, that fateful, summer, day.

A few days after they had met, Tsukune gathered up his courage and asked her if she'd like to attend a local festival.

Once he explained to young Moka what a "festival" was, she was overly excited to go along with her new friend. They laughed and played the entire afternoon and experienced all of the sights and sounds of the carnival-like atmosphere.

Moka had never experienced anything like that in her home of Asgard and was tickled pink.

While they walked along and visited the numerous food stalls and vendors, Moka suddenly saw a cute toy ring that she instantly fell in love with. It had a golden-colored band along with a small, purple 'gem' in the center.

Tsukune reached into the front, right, pocket of his jeans after he saw her eyes light up at the sight of it.

Unfortunately, he did not have enough money left over as he had spent most of it on food, games, and treats for the both of them. Moka could see the sadness on his face, but never pushed the issue any further.

Shortly after the fireworks display that night, Tsukune walked her back to the entrance of the old Temple.

"Hey, Moka.. um... there's something that I wanna give you, so let's meet at our special place at the same time tomorrow, okay?" he asked the little pink-haired Goddess.

"Of course, Tsukune!" she immediately replied with a bright smile.

"Then it's a promise, okay? Cross your heart!" Tsukune said as he stuck out his right pinky finger.

"Pinky swear. Here Moka, like this," as he demonstrated to her what a "pinky swear" was.

After they had promised to meet the next day, Tsukune waved goodbye and headed back to his grandparent's home for the remainder of the night.

It seemed so innocent at that time - the promise of a child.

After Tsukune disappeared out of Moka's sight, her Father, the Almighty One appeared in front of her. She then realized her unintentional blunder.

Moka knew that the promise she had made with the mortal boy Tsukune Aono had all the validity of a Goddess Contract!

She had inadvertently violated Sacred Asgardian Laws - one for being on the mortal world without permission and secondly for making a contract without the license and qualifications of a fully-fledged Goddess!

To say that she was in big trouble was a severe understatement and would be harshly punished, if she did not repair the damage that had already been done.

...

The following day, Tsukune returned to meet Moka in their usual special place.

As he saw Moka in the clearing of the woods, he suddenly stopped; he noticed that she was having an argument with somebody, but could not see who it was she was taking to; on top of that she was crying as well.

Tsukune heard everything.

And it broke his heart to see his very first friend in that much trouble.

...

"But Father! I can't! He's my friend! I just... just can't do that to him! His friendship means so much to me! Please father... I just can't do that to him!" Moka yelled and pleaded, while she cried her heart out.

She begged her Father not to force her to do what he commanded her to do.

"MOKA, YOU MUST DO THIS. IT IS THE ONLY WAY. YOU HAVE BROKEN SEVERAL SACRED LAWS. IF YOU DO NOT, THEN I WILL HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE THAN TO SEAL YOU AWAY."

He then continued:

"THIS IS YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE MOKA. PLEASE DO AS I COMMAND AND SEAL THE MORTAL TSUKUNE AONO'S MEMORY OF MEETING YOU. I DO NOT WANT TO PUNISH YOU LIKE THIS MY DAUGHTER, BUT YOU LEAVE ME NO OTHER VALID CHOICE."

Tsukune then stepped into the clearing and made himself known.

"Moka... it's okay... you can erase my memory. I don't wanna get you in trouble," he said as he smiled and stated as much clearly. He was a good kid with a kind heart and could not bear to see his friend in that much anguish.

"No! Tsukune! I can't! I can't do that to you... I ...care too much for you! I won't do it!" she softly replied as tears streamed down her adorable, pink face.

"I'll always remember you, Moka... and if we ever meet again... I wanna marry you 'cause... I like you! I really like you, Moka! I promise with all of my heart," he quietly said, as he closed his eyes, and shed a solitary tear.

"Oh Tsukune! I like you too and I will marry you if we ever meet again!" she cried out, as she heavily sobbed, as well.

Moka then gathered her divine powers into a small, blue, sphere and lightly pushed it into his forehead.

"I love you, Moka... forever," he whispered under his breath.

The very same toy ring he had bought for her as a gift, dropped from his left hand and tumbled to the ground.

"I love you too, Tsukune. I'm so sorry..." she said between tears of grief.

When he woke up sometime afterward, Tsukune had no idea where he was nor how he got there. Everything that happened earlier that week, was a complete blank and missing from his memories.

"Tsuki! Hey, Tsuki! Are you okay?" Kyoko said as she ran into the front yard and saw him lying on the ground.

In his right hand was an odd-looking spear. It was nearly one-and-a-half meters long, with a spiraled shaft, gold in color with three, long blades; the center one longer than the other two.

In the pommel was a multicolored gem.

Engraved into each blade, was the name of each of the current Norns in Asgardian.

Kurumu - Norn of the Past

Moka - Norn of the Present.

Yukari - Norn of the Future.

Also written on the shaft in the same runes was "Time Judges All".

Blinking his eyes in confusion, Tsukune looked up at his worried cousin and then slowly sat up with her assistance.

"Kyoko?" he asked, still out of sorts.

"Yeah. What the hell are ya' doin' out here this late and what's this spear doing here?" she asked as she gave him a hand up from the cold ground.

"I'm not sure... I heard thunder and came out here for some reason... and then... I remembered meeting Moka when we were kids... and – and..." he said, as he held his left hand against his forehead.

"Wait a minute. You remembered everything?" she inquired as they walked back towards the house.

"Yeah. We met as kids when I was ten. How did ya' know about that?" he asked in return.

"Well, when I first met Moka, she told me how you guys met and the promise you made. She also told me that if you ever remembered that, it could cause all sorts of problems. I'm really sorry Tsuki. She made me promise and she never meant to hide that from ya!" Kyoko explained with a bow.

"It's okay, Kyo. It was my choice to have my memories sealed. I can't believe I actually told her that I'd marry her though. I guess it was fate that we met again," he said with a small smile.

"So, what are ya' gonna do when she gets back?" Kyoko asked with a grin.

"I'm gonna do the right thing, of course," he replied with a blush.

"Aw, that's so romantic, Tsuki. You guys were definitely meant for each other," Kyoko said as she gave him a quick hug.

"Yeah, yeah. Thanks. But I have a bad feeling that somethings gonna happen, though."

"What makes ya' say that?" she asked with a quirked brow as she ended their hug a minute later.

"Um, this spear told me so," he said as he saw an invisible chain which was wrapped around his right wrist and was attached to the spear, Gungnir, itself.

"Oh boy. I hope Moka and her sisters get back really soon," Kyoko said with a sweat-drop.

Before Tsukune could reply to his cousin, the telephone down the hallway rung, which brought his thoughts back to the present.

A/N: I'm done! * faints *

A quick shout-out to Toroka25 from deviantArt with his help about Gungnir, Odin's spear. Thanks buddy!

It took me 2 days to write this chapter which was in and of itself, not easy. I had more to tell but decided to continue this in the next chapter, which would be Part 3 of this story arc.

I left more clues as to what's going on which will come to light in the next chapter. If you figure out what may happen, please do not leave a spoiler-filled review. That's what PMs are for even though I do appreciate all comments, questions, and reviews.

So, I hope that you my dear readers, liked this chapter. The next chapter will be out when I'm able to since I have some more issues to deal with in real life which I won't go into here.

Thanks once again for all the Faves, Follows, PMs, and Reviews.

Your continued support means a lot to me! See you next time. :)
