Author's Note: I'm really sorry for the lateness of this chapter. I explained my recent absence in the previous update. I had to move, yet again recently, but I'm still close to my job – which isn't giving me much hours so I have to find another job so I can make ends meet.
Plus where I live, I don't have WiFi so I have to use my cellphone as a WiFi hot-spot until I get actual wireless service which I really can't afford right now so future updates will be more or less, sporadic. I will do my best to update somewhat regularly for as much as I can until that time.
One more thing: Guest reviews are still monitored. Thanks for understanding!
A big "thank you" to ZeroIQ on fanfic and Toroka25 on deviantart for their ideas which I somewhat adapted for this chapter. Thanks again!
PS - This chapter has not been Beta read yet, so please excuse any grammar, spelling, or punctuation errors. I just wanted to get it up as soon as possible!
...
Late August, just before the start of the Fall Term. Nekomi, Japan.
An old man roughly 1.2 meters tall (about 4 feet) approached the Tariki Hongan Temple. His gray hair, or what was left of it, danced in the late, summer, breeze. In his right hand he tightly carried a wooden cane. His brown, wrinkled, suit had seen better days. Despite his aged appearance, he seemed to be bright and somewhat cheerful.
He softly smiled as he eventually reached the doorway and gently rung the doorbell with his walking stick.
* ding dong *
The only resident home at the time slid his bedroom door opened, briskly walked down the long corridor, and peeked out the peephole of the door to see who had rung the bell at such an hour.
It was not like he had expected anyone to stop by for a visit since his pink-haired bride-to-be was out for the afternoon, as she had a sudden urge to go shopping and dragged her sisters along to keep her company for the duration of the afternoon.
When Tsukune slid open the front door, he did not see anyone in sight.
"Huh? That's weird. I could have sworn I heard the doorbell," he said to nobody in particular as he scratched his chin out of curiosity.
"Ahem... young man, down here am I," a decidedly, gruff, male voice answered with a toothless grin.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Tsukune quickly apologized with a bow. "I didn't see you there," the young mechanic replied with a sweat-drop.
"Alright it is... hmm. Wondering a telephone you had to borrow I did," the older, much shorter, man answered with a nod.
"Oh, um, sure...please come inside. The phone's right down the hallway," Tsukune said as he stepped aside and allowed him to enter the abode.
"Much thanks to you, young man. A tow truck I must call," the elderly gentleman explained as she slowly shuffled into the hallway as Tsukune closed the door behind him once he was inside.
"A tow truck?" Tsukune asked with a quirked brow.
"Hmm, indeed. Broke down the car of mine and help I need. Wife expecting me home for dinner, she is," the gentleman replied with a soft sigh.
"That won't be necessary. I can fix it for ya'. Just let me get my tools and then you can be on your way home in time for dinner," Tsukune said with a smile.
"But a car foreign I own. Tools fit, they will not," the mysterious, yet kind man swiftly interjected as Tsukune turned around and walked toward his shared bedroom in order to fetch his tool box.
"Um are you sure? Maybe my sempai have the proper tools. You shouldn't have to pay someone else to tow your car home since I'm more than positive that I can fix it," Tsukune said as he turned around.
He then saw that the older man had removed his shoes and already picked up the telephone's handset. He had climbed upon a small stool in order to reach said phone since he was so tiny and on the frail side.
"For your kind offer, I appreciate much. Yes, kindhearted are you, young man," the older man who spoke like Yoda, replied.
"Oh sure. It's not a problem, really. When you're done with your call, you can wait for the tow truck driver in the tea room over there; first door on the left. I'll go make a pot of tea in the meantime and keep you company," Tsukune said as he rubbed the back of his neck out of nervous habit.
"Thanks much again, young man," the elder man said. He then spoke into the phone with a foreign language that Tsukune had never heard before.
'He sure is a strange, little man; but he seems nice,' the raven-haired, college student thought to himself as he made a beeline for the kitchen to boil a pot of water for the tea he had just promised not a minute ago.
…
"Here ya' go. Sorry for the wait as we only have Darjeeling tea at the moment," Tsukune said as he entered the tea room with a wooden tray. He then placed the tray on the low table and set a ceramic cup in front of his visitor.
He then set one for himself to his right. Tsukune carefully poured the hot tea into each of the cups and then set the tray off to the side for the time being.
"Thank you," the strange, older, man said as he inhaled the tea's fragrance. He then took a sip of his tea.
"You're welcome," Tsukune said as he took a seat in his usual spot.
"Oh my manners. Forgot to tell you who I am, I did. Isamu, called I am," the elder man said out of the blue as he slowly pulled himself to his feet.
"It's nice to meet you Mister Isamu. I'm Tsukune Aono. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Tsukune replied as he quickly stood up. They then bowed towards each other, per the Japanese custom of meeting someone for the first time.
"A pleasure to make acquaintance, it is," Isamu replied. He then stood straight up and then sat down in his original seated position. Tsukune did the same and returned to his tea which was still hot.
"Mister Aono it is. Hmm, live alone you do in a house this big?" Isamu inquired.
"Oh, um, well... no... not exactly."
"Hmm, do tell. Curious now, am I," Isamu said with a quirked, wrinkled, brow.
"Well, you see... I kinda live with four girls. Ah! Wait a minute! Don't get the wrong idea though. Three of the young ladies are sisters and the other one is my cousin, Kyo," Tsukune blurted out as his face flushed red from saying as much.
"Hmm, lucky you must be... one of them - you like, perhaps?" Isamu asked with a smile.
"Um, well, yeah. The um, middle sister is my fiancée," Tsukune admitted as his blush deepened.
"Hmm, indeed lucky are you, Mister Aono," Isamu said as he gave Tsukune's reply some thought.
"I'm the lucky one, actually. I really don't know where I'd be today if I hadn't met her," Tsukune answered as his reddened face regained its natural complexion somewhat.
"Many years known her, you have?" Isamu asked as he leaned closer to his host.
"It's a long story and a lot's happened, but the short answer is yes. We met when we were kids and just met again this past March," Tsukune answered without giving too much information away. Besides, the older man was quite inquisitive, Tsukune mentally noted.
Not only that but there was something rather peculiar about his visitor, but he could not quite put his finger on it. His speech pattern was somewhat jumbled, as well.
...
As Tsukune gave his last reply some thought he reminisced just how blessed he was to have met Moka again after 12 years. He just blankly stared at the ceiling above and temporarily forgotten that he had a guest to entertain.
Isamu's hair then turned much darker for a moment and his eye color briefly changed as well. Luckily for the old man, his host did not take notice of his current predicament as he silently cursed under his breath.
"Oh my, look at the time. Perhaps arrived the tow truck has..." Isamu said as he was about to stand up.
Tsukune then heard the front door open and the familiar voices of Moka and her two sisters. It would seem that they had arrived home long before they had originally planned on. Kyoko was not with them as she had gone off to her job early in the morning.
"Please excuse me for a moment. I wanna see if the girls need a hand or not," Tsukune said as he rose to his feet and bolted for the front door.
"Go you must, then," the elderly man answered with a sweat-drop.
Isamu then panicked profusely as he sprang to his feet and desperately searched for a place to hide himself.
...
"Hey girls... need some help?" Tsukune asked the three Norns who had placed all of their packages on the wooden floor. Moka then glomped Tsukune and pushed him to the floor below. She then covered his face with affectionate kisses.
"Um, I'm gonna take that as a 'no'," he said with a laugh as Moka temporarily forgotten herself and then pulled him to his feet once she recalled where she was.
"Sorry about that, love. I just missed you," she cutely replied as she nervously poked her index fingers together out of habit.
"Yeah Tsukune. That's right! All big sis talked about since we left the house is how much she missed you," Yukari said with a snicker which caused her big sister to lightly blush since it was the truth, after-all.
"Hey, whose shoes are these?" Kurumu asked as she removed her own and placed them on the floor in their usual location. Moka and Yukari mirrored her action.
"Oh, an older man who needed to use the phone to call a tow truck."
"A tow truck?" the youngest Norn asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Oh my goodness! We have company?" Moka asked as her emerald green eyes sparkled with keen interest.
"Calm down, Moka. I'm sure he's not goin' anywhere. And I know ya' wanna serve him some homemade cake or something," Kurumu commented with a laugh as she knew just how much her younger sister loved to play the part of the hostess, as she spoiled anyone who came for a visit - whether they were invited or not.
"Yeah, he's in the tea room. I gotta warn ya' though, he's kinda eccentric," Tsukune said with a sigh. He then led the sisters into the tea room so they could meet the older man, themselves.
"Hey? Where is he? He was just here a minute ago," Tsukune asked in surprise as they entered the tea room a moment later and Isamu was nowhere to be found.
"Okay, so I was wrong. He did go somewhere," Kurumu said to Yukari who just stood there and wondered, herself.
"Maybe he had to use the restroom," Yukari speculated as Moka walked closer towards the center and briefly scanned the room with her abilities.
"Father! I know you're here, so you might as well show yourself!" Moka half-shouted with a dominating voice. Isamu then crawled out from under the kotatsu table and faced the source of that voice he knew all, too well.
"He's your father? The Almighty One? Him? This little guy?" Tsukune loudly yelped, clearly shocked at the sudden reveal.
"Yes, and it would seem to me that he's spying on us, Tsukune," Moka said as she walked over to her father, Issa. He then looked away in disgrace, as his disguise evaporated and then reappeared in his original form. He was nearly a head taller than Tsukune.
"Oh like Kurumu did before she came down to Earth. Like father, like daughter, I guess," Tsukune said with a sweat-drop. Moka merely nodded 'yes' in agreement.
Issa's hair was jet-black which was parted down the middle and on the longish side; his eyes were hazel gray in color. He wore an all-black, business-type suit with a white neck tie. On his face he grew a goatee which was neatly trimmed and on the short side.
"Excuse me! I am in the room, ya' know!" Kurumu loudly bellowed and then stuck her tongue out at Tsukune.
"Daddy!" Yukari shouted as she ran over to Issa and gave him a heartfelt hug.
"Hello daughters," Issa said as he stepped forward and gave the three sisters a brief, fatherly hug. Moka wiggled herself away from him and was still rather disturbed regarding his abrupt arrival.
"Father, what are you doing here spying on us?" Moka asked as she shot Issa a death glare which shot a shiver down his spine.
"I - um - came down here to check up on you. It is my duty as your father, after-all," Issa sheepishly replied as Moka became further upset by the passing second.
"Why don't we all have a seat?" Tsukune mildly interjected before a family argument broke out and the house ended up destroyed, yet again. Or someone wound up being blown through a wall or the roof, instead!
"An excellent idea, Mister Aono. Besides, I could use a slice of Moka's homemade cake," Issa said with a small smile.
"No cake for you!" Moka shouted and then quickly placed both of her hands over her mouth out of utmost embarrassment. She had said too much to her father and felt somewhat awful about it.
"I'm sorry father. It's just... that you could have called beforehand. And where's mother?" Moka said more calmly, this time.
"I apologize Moka; it's just that I am... worried about you. I still do not see what is so special about him. He's average in every way. Oh, she has no idea where I am, actually," Issa countered with a slight frown.
"But daddy! Tsukune's a great guy! And he really cares about big sis a lot! He's really smart and a hard worker, too! He even took boobzilla in when you banished her to Midgard!" Yukari loudly replied as she drooled a little bit, since she had a small crush on Tsukune, it would seem.
But that is a story, for another time.
"Hey! My boobs are perfect, I'll have ya' know!" Kurumu barked, clearly upset at Yukari's immature remark as she placed both of her hands under her breasts to emphasize her point.
"Yukari..." Moka softly replied with a small smile.
The Norn of the Present was quite proud of her little sister, truth be told. Moka was rather thankful that Yukari had accepted the fact that she was deeply in love with her childhood friend whom she was now engaged to.
"But the brat's right. Tsukune's a great guy and a real gentleman, too. He's always treated Moka with a lot of respect and I kinda see him like the little brother I never had. Even though he knows that I'm half-demon, he treats me like a normal woman," Kurumu said, this time with her indoor voice.
"Hey, who you calling a brat?!" Yukari shouted and glared daggers at Kurumu. Moka then shot both of her sisters an all-knowing look and silently asked them to behave themselves before they started another huge fight like they normally did on a near -daily basis.
"Well, Mister Aono – do you love my daughter as much as you claim you do?" Issa asked in a serious tone as he faced the young man in question.
"Yes, sir. I love Moka with all my heart and what I told you earlier is the absolute truth. She completes me in every sense of the word," Tsukune replied rather firmly.
"I see. And Moka dear – what are your feelings towards this young man?" Issa inquired.
"I do love Tsukune with every fiber of my being. He loves me and accepts me for who I am – and even has a bond of sorts with my Angel, Mochaccino. Contract or not, that is where my place is for as long as my heart beats," Moka answered somewhat firmly, still upset at her father.
"Then a celebration is in order, it would seem," Issa replied as a bottle of Sake' materialized out of thin air.
"Father! Is that what I think it is?" Moka asked with a raised brow.
"Yes, its Asgardian Sake'. The best in all of the nine realms," Issa proudly answered.
"I know I could sure use a drink!" Kurumu said as she jumped up and raced towards the kitchen. She returned a moment later with a wooden tray which held several, ceramic, cups.
...
* ding dong *
"I'll get it," Tsukune yelped as he sprung to his feet and rushed down the hallway. He slid the front door open and was surprised at who was on the opposite side of it.
"Moka?" Tsukune asked as he was most certain that she was still inside the house.
"Good afternoon, Mister Aono. You may call me Aksaha. It's a pleasure to finally meet the young man who had captured my daughter's heart," the pink-haired Asgardian replied with a warm and welcoming smile.
"Oh! I'm really sorry! You look just like Moka. The pleasure's mine to meet you, too! Ah, what I mean is, please come inside and make yourself at home," Tsukune stammered out, as he bowed several times in a row.
He had absentmindedly failed to remember his manners since he was somewhat baffled and called her 'Moka' due to a simple, misunderstanding.
Her goddess, facial markings were similar, he noticed a moment later.
They may as well be twins since they looked identical in every way, except Akasha was dressed in a long, white dress, which hid her more-mature, figure.
Tsukune then stepped aside and allowed her to enter the house, first.
"Tsukune? Who is – mother!" Moka inquired as she walked down the hallway to see who else had come for a visit. She then raced forward and gave her mother a warm, daughterly hug. Yukari heard the ruckus herself, and ran down the hallway to greet her mother in a similar fashion.
"Mom! You came down, too!" Yukari squealed with delight as she released Akasha after a few, awkward, moments.
"Of course I did. I had to come down here to see my two, favorite, daughters, after-all. And of course I had to see what sort of trouble your father has caused, naturally," Akasha explained as she removed her shoes before she entered the house, itself.
Moka and Yukari led their mother towards the tea room so she could see for herself what sort of mischief Issa had gotten himself into, this time.
Tsukune had a difficult time not staring at Akasha since the resemblance to Moka was mind-boggling to him. I mean, who could blame him? She was the spitting image of her daughter, but seemed to be more mature, considering the way she spoke and carried herself.
Like the old saying goes, look at your bride-to-be's mother to see how she'll look in the future. Or something like that!
"Oh Akasha! What brings you here?" Issa asked with a sweat-drop as he poured himself and Kurumu a cup of Asgardian Sake'. Tsukune remained quiet to see for himself who 'wore the pants' in the family, as it were.
(That basically means who is in charge of the household.)
"Issa, I see that you have made yourself quite welcomed here. And not only that but you have somehow managed to just come down here and do whatever you please, like always," Aksaha answered with an exasperate sigh.
"But dear!" he stammered out as he nearly dropped the bottle which he held in his hands.
"No buts! You have some explaining to do, mister!" his spouse said as she walked over to his side and shook her right index finger at him in a shameful manner.
"Hello, Kurumu," Aksaha said with a slight bow as she greeted her half-daughter before she returned her attention towards her spouse.
"Hello, Aksaha," Kurumu said as she sipped on her Sake'.
"Well? I am waiting for an answer, Issa," Akasha demanded, as her patience grew thin.
"I uh – just wanted to congratulate the happy couple. They are engaged now. It is a joyous occasion. Would you not agree, my beautiful wife?" Issa replied with a first-class smile which somehow managed to placate Akasha's anger, somewhat at least.
"Engaged, you say? Well, you do make a valid point, I suppose. Sure? Why not? Besides, it will give us an excellent opportunity to better know our future son-in-law. Would you not agree?" Akasha answered as she took a seat next to Issa as he poured a cup of Sake' for her as well.
"Indeed. I am surprised that we have not heard of the wonderful news as of yet, but Moka is grown up now and can make her own decisions, despite her new contract with Mister Aono, of course," Issa replied as he gulped down his second cup of Sake'.
Issa then poured a cup for Moka and Tsukune.
"Congratulations to Tsukune and Moka. May you be just as happy as we are and have a long, happy, life," Issa said as he proposed a toast to the engaged couple.
"It's okay, Tsukune" Moka said as he nervously picked up his cup of Asgardian Sake'.
"Um, okay Moka. If you say so," he replied as he took a sip of the foreign Sake'.
Moka took a sip as well. Her face turned pink slightly as she had never had tasted it before, herself.
"Hey, this is pretty good. May I have another cup, please?" Tsukune asked as his cup was quickly emptied of its contents.
"Most certainly, Tsukune," Akasha answered as she filled his cup to the brim.
"You don't have to drink it if you don't want to, love," Moka said as she scooted closer to Tsukune.
Kurumu promptly leaned back and passed out after her third cup and snored loudly. Yukari just poked her over and over again, as she attempted to bring her elder sister out of her unintentional nap.
"Hey, I like you son! You sure know how to hold your liquor, huh? You remind me somewhat of my dear brother, Odin. You're not as ugly as him, but I do like ya'!" Issa blurted out as he slapped Tsukune on his back in a playful fashion.
"Um, thanks..." Tsukune replied as Moka gently rubbed his back due to her father's sudden, drunken, outburst and could see the pain in his face.
"Oh Issa. Don't tease our future son-in-law so much. He's been through a lot, you know. And he is kind of cute, now that I see him in person," Aksaha slurred out after her second cup of the rice wine.
"Mother, please behave yourself and keep your eyes off of my Tsukune," Moka lightly chastised in a somewhat, serious tone.
"Oh Moka, dear. You worry too much. I was merely teasing. You know that, right?" Aksaha replied as she eyed her husband, placed her right hand on his thigh, and left it there for the time being.
"Akasha, you minx, you," Issa flirted with a wink at the object of his affections.
"Okay, you guys are acting weird. I'm going to go to my room for a little while, if it's alright with you," Yukari announced as she promptly stood up, bolted out of the tea room, and down towards the end of the hallway. A moment later a loud 'slam' was heard.
Akasha and Issa both laughed boisterously at their youngest daughter's obvious embarrassment. Well, who could blame the youngest Norn?
Her parents acted up like hormone-driven teenagers and she did not want to see that scene, no matter how amusing it may have been to anyone else, with the exception of Kurumu who continued her mid-afternoon nap.
"Tsukune? Are you feeling okay? You have a little something on your face" Moka asked as she came closer to her beau and softly placed her right hand on his cheek.
"Uh, yeah. I feel okay except it's kinda warm in here," he replied as he loosened the top, two buttons of his shirt.
Without any type of advance notice, Moka quickly kissed him passionately on his lips and then moaned into his mouth which caused his face to flush at the sudden, amorous, affection.
"Oh my..." Akasha said as she saw first-hand just how close her daughter was with Tsukune.
Issa said not a word as he seemed to be in a daze of sorts, himself – most likely due to the affects of the alcohol which he enjoyed rather too much of and was on his fourth cup.
"Wow..." Tsukune breathed out a moment later as his lungs fought for air.
"Hmm, wow indeed," Moka quietly replied as her forehead was slightly flushed and hot to the touch. No doubt due to a combination of the Sake' and the kiss she just had with her betrothed.
"Sorry mother, but... Tsukune is an amazing kisser and I do love him just as much as he loves me... and being here on Earth, with him has made me very happy. Words are inadequate to describe just how much of a difference he has made in my life since I first arrived here after many years of being apart from him," Moka explained to her mother as a slight blush instantly filled her pale cheeks.
The Norn of the Present was somewhat stunned by her statement and to her mother of all people, but she knew it was the absolute truth. If she flat-out denied her own feelings then she would only be lying to herself.
"There is nothing for you to apologize for dear. I know what you say is the truth. After-all, he is the boy you fell in love with, all those years ago; is he not?" Akasha asked with a soft smile.
"Thank you, mother. And to answer your question; yes - he most certainly is. I am so, very blessed to have met him again, all these years later," Moka said as a few, stray tears, trickled down her still, pink, cheeks.
Tsukune slowly wrapped his left arm around her shoulder and pulled her into a loving hug as he felt the same way as she did.
"Oh Moka..." he breathed out as he shared her pain. The pain of knowing how much she needed him when they were separated by her father, many years ago.
…
"Hey! What'd I miss?" Kurumu asked as she sat up and placed her left hand against her forehead. She then yawned loudly.
"Hello, Kurumu. Your father and I were just getting to know your future brother-in-law better, that's all," Akasha replied as Issa still remained rather quiet and found it difficult to sit upright. Not only that but his eyes were half-closed, as well.
"I see. Is father gonna be okay? It looks like he's about to fall over," Kurumu pointed out as she placed her elbows on the kotatsu table and held her head in her hands as it felt heavy to a small degree.
"Oh my! Issa! Wake up you drunkard!" Akasha bellowed which caused him to fall forward and bang his head on the table, which luckily did not break nor topple over due to the sudden impact.
"Ow! What in blazes? Huh?" Issa spouted out as he sat up and rubbed his forehead with both of his hands. He silently wondered to himself why his head hurt all of a sudden and had not a clue to where he was as he looked around the room somewhat, incoherently.
"That's it. Party's over. Let's go dear so we can leave the children to themselves as it seems to me that you have clearly worn out your welcome," Akasha said as she stood up and then grabbed Issa by the cuff of his suit and effortlessly lifted him off the floor with one hand.
"But I didn't have a chance to say bye-bye to my daughters!" Issa said with a pout as his wife dragged him out of the tea room and down the hallway. Tsukune, Moka, and Kurumu quickly followed behind them to make sure that everything was alright with the couple.
"You have said more than enough. Sorry girls; it looks like we will have to take our leave. Please tell Yukari we are sorry that we could not have stayed longer and that we shall see you girls at another time. I apologize for my foolish husband's drunken stupor, Tsukune. Please take care of Moka and also do your best to always be there for her," Aksaha said with a smile as she dropped Issa on the wooden floor and quickly gave the trio a warm, farewell, hug.
"It's okay, Miss Akasha. And I'll always do my best," Tsukune said with a blush after the hug ended a moment later.
"Thank you mother. And father, please do not act so foolish next time. Honestly!" Moka lightly cautioned.
With that, Akasha reached down and grabbed her husband by the neck of his collar, opened the door, and then dragged him outside into the yard. She waved her hand to the open sky above. A moment later, the entire area was engulfed in a bright, magenta, light as the Gate opened. She waved farewell to her daughters and Tsukune and then vanished out of sight.
"Well, your parents seem nice," Tsukune said as he slid and locked the door closed behind him.
"I'm sorry Tsukune!" Moka said out of extreme embarrassment.
"Why are ya' apologizing for?" he asked as he placed both of his hands on her shoulders and then pulled her into a warm embrace.
"If its okay with you two, I'm gonna take a nap," Kurumu said as she yawned yet again, and then floated down the hallway towards her bedroom.
"Because my parents showed up like that and caused a huge mess," Moka replied as she returned the hug which she rather enjoyed.
"I'm not upset if you're wondering. Ever since you popped back into my life, it hasn't been boring. Besides, they seem very nice, if not a bit strange. But that goes without saying since life's been strange since we first met again, right?" he continued as she held onto him for a bit longer since they were pretty much, alone.
"Thank you, Tsukune. Yes, they're nice and they do like you, without a doubt – hence the impromptu celebration. You're also right about them being somewhat strange, I suppose. I do love them both very much, but they can act rather childish, most of the time. Not to mention mother when she gets angry at father for his behavior whenever he gets a bit tipsy," Moka answered with a giggle.
"Oh Tsukune."
The pink-haired goddess then pulled back, stared into her betrothed's chocolate, brown, eyes and then smiled brightly. She was happy that he was not upset and seemed to be in high spirits, despite the rather bizarre, afternoon.
Yes, life for the Aono household has been the very definition of strange, ever since Moka and her sisters came into Tsukune's life. And it would be that way for many years to come.
"Would you perhaps, like to lay down with me? It seems as though the Sake' has made me feel somewhat, sleepy," Moka implored with a bashful smile as she reached down and held Tsukune's left hand as she gently pulled him in the direction of their shared bedroom.
He just shook his head 'yes' as he took the not-too-subtle hint and followed her down the corridor. She then slid the bedroom door open with her free hand and entered first. Tsukune walked behind her and then closed the door shut after himself.
Without a word said, Moka led him towards their futon bed and laid down first with Tsukune directly behind her. She then cuddled up close to her love and held him close. Tsukune wrapped his left arm around her slender waist and held her protectively. He knew in his heart that he loved her without question as did she, just as much, if not, more-so.
At least the house had settled down and not a peep was heard from neither of her sisters. With a smile upon her pink lips, she fell asleep in the arms of her best friend and love of her life.
Moka was relieved that he had taken the strange afternoon in stride like he had a tendency to do. Whatever came his way, he always took in with a positive outlook, no matter how weird it was. And for that, she was rather grateful for.
