It was the end of the day at Canterlot High. Every student was heading out to their home for the night. Sonic and his friends came out and he was still thinking about Charlene kissing him after their friendly one on one game. "You ok, Skye?" asked Twilight in a worried voice. "Yeah. But I can't believe that Charlene kissed me and then try to recuit me to be an Astylar Knight. I'm already a Wondercolt," said Sonic in a calm voice. "Hmm...I guess they still trying to get you," said Nasir as he was kissing Kira's neck. "Nasir! You know I'm very ticklish there," said Kira as she is blushing softly. "I know, my sweet Kira-wira. So, we should be at you place tonight for dinner, yes?" asked Nasir with a smile. "Of course. My sister want you and your family to come over to discuss our future," said Kira. "And is any of this is also a way to get out of the play Vasilis suckered us into?" asked Nasir. "I'm that oblivious, huh? Well that's one way of putting it, Nasir. Your uncle has a way of doing something very weird and unpredictable," said Kira. "What about that time when Pinkie did some belly dancing moves in our drama class today?" asked Nasir. Kira remembers that scene all too well...

(Vasilis' Drama Class, earlier today)

Pinkie came over to the class on behalf of Vasilis, dressed in a bright red belly dancer outfit, and started doing the most complex belly dancing that shocked everyone in class including Sonic, Nasir & Kira. "As you can tell from Miss Pie's dancing, belly dancing is an interesting way of telling one's story through the art of dance. Many stories and plays are told through dancing. "Ok, Nasir. I stand corrected. But still, he always have something up his sleeves and it always involve me somehow," said Kira. "Well, I doubt that he will pull something like that at dinner tonight. Who knows. I'm sure that he'll might surprise us," said Nasir. He sees his limo pulls up and he heads to it. "Ready to go, sir?" asked the driver. "Yes. To home, post haste," said Nasir as he gets in the limo. The driver nods as he gets in the car and drives off. "Talk about driving in style. Well, I better get home to get ready," said Kira as she gets her scooter and heads home. Applejack stretches her body and said "Well, I better get going. AB told me that she's going to spend the night with Sweetie Belle at Rarity's place. I'll see you guys tomorrow." With that said, Applejack started to walk home. Pinkie taps on Dash's shoulder and said "Dashie, don't you have something you want to ask Skye?" Dashie blushes softly as Sonic turns to her and said "What is it, Dash?" She took a deep breath and said "Skye...I was just wondering if you could...you know...give me your phone number..." He smiles and said "Sure, Dashie. Give me a minute." He get his notepad, a pen and he starts writing his number on the paper. Once he finished, he gives it to her and said "Here you go, Dashie. Just call me whenever you get a chance." She gets the number and smiles at him. "T...thank you, Skye," said Dash as she was blushing deeply. "No problem, Dashie. I'll see you tomorrow," said Sonic as he hops on his skatebroad and skating home. The rest of the gang started to headed home for the day while Dashie smiling happily that she finally got Sonic's number.

(27 miles away from Canterlot High)

As Applejack was walking home, she started to walk by a basketball court and something caught her eye. She saw a boy, slightly younger than her, performing dribble moves and shooting drills with his ABA ball. His muscular skin is light ebony & his cornrows hair is black. His clothing is black jeans and black sneakers. He didn't wear a shirt, showing off his muscular form. She couldn't help to blush as she kept on looking. After he maded his tenth shot, he turns to her and said "Enjoying the show, miss?" Applejack starts to panic as she saw the baller looking at her. He chuckles softly and said "Relax. It's ok. It's nice to see someone enjoying me practicing. What's your name?" "Oh...My name is Applejack," said Applejack while still blushing. "Cute name. My name is Jack Lighthoof," said Jack with smile. "I see you're a baller, Jack. I play ball too. I love to play on the defensive side of the ball," said Applejack with a smile. "Oh really? Well, how about I test you defensive side? I'm going to shoot ten shots. If you can block at least 3 out of my 10 shots, then I will respect you as a fellow baller. So, Applejack, you up to it?" asked Jack with a smile. Applejack tips her hat to him and said "You're on, Jack." She comes in the court and places her bag on the ground. "Ready, Applejack?" asked Jack while dribbling his ball. "I'm more ready than a wildcat in a staring contest. Let's play, sugarcube," said Applejack with a grin. He grins as he puts up a shot, but Applejack reacted quickly and blocks the shot. "Nice quickness, Applejack," said Jack. "Thanks, Jack," said Applejack. He moves to the other side of the court and tries to shoot his 2nd shot, only to be blocked again by Applejack. "You got some moves, AJ. Looks like I need to get serious," said Jack as he starts to pull off some crossover moves to cruise past her and hits a layup. "Ah man," said Applejack. "1 out of 3 of my shot attempts made. I have to say you are the first player to block my 1st 2 shots, Applejack," said Jack with a grin. "Heh, you're not bad yourself, Jack," said Applejack. He get the ball and tries to pull a shoot a quick jumper, but Applejack perform a turbo block to not only block the shot but also snags the ball. He chuckles softly and said "Congrats, Applejack. You win." "Heh. And that's why I'm the best defender of Canterlot High," said Applejack in a proud voice. He goes to her and said "It would be an honor to play a 1 on 1 match against you, Applejack." He holds her hand and kisses it softly. She blushes softly and said " Aw shucks, Jack. You're making me blush. I have to go before it gets too late." He smiles as he writes down his name and number and said "Here's my number, AJ. If you want to play a game with me or just want to talk, just give me a call. Oh and bring your friends over next time. We could have a friendly game of 3 on 3." She gets the number and said "Thanks, Jack. Well, I'll see you tomorrow." She tips her hat to him and heads home. He smiles as he makes a shot and the ball went in. "Nothing but net," said Jack.

At Nasir's home, Vasilis was getting his suit pressed by his maids for tonight while Shalana is getting her black dress ready. "This will be very interesting, my love. But I have to ask, what is your plan of attack for tonight?" asked Shalana with a smile. "Attack? My dear queen, 'attack' is such a dirty work. I'm think of engaging my opponent, finding their weakness and when I do, I go for the elegant kill," said Vasilis in a calm voice. "Ah, I see. You planned this alot, my king," said Shalana as he kisses him softly. He kisses her back and looks up to see Nasir coming home from school. "Hello, Vasilis & Shalana," said Nasir as he bows at them. "Arise, dark prince. I have the maids getting your suit ready for tonight," said Vasilis with a smile. "We're just going to Kira's place not some fancy restaurant," said Nasir as he smiles. "My dearest Nasir, 1st impressions are very important. Besides, it would make Kira fall madly in love with you if she sees you all dressed up handsomely," said Shalana while giving him a kiss on his cheek. "I know, Shalana. But still, I'm kinda nervous," said Nasir as he trying to remain calm. "Relax, Nasir. I'm sure that it will be fine. You worry too much," said Shalana as she give him a bat cookie to relax. He eats the cookie and calms down. Vasilis gets his suit on and hands Nasir his suit. "Do get dress, Nasir. We don't want to be late to Ms. Chi's dinner," said Vasilis with a smile. He nods as he heads to his room and get dressed.

In the home of Sonic Skychaser, he lays in his bed and tries to relax. "Me...being an Astylar Knight...no. I can't do that to Dashie and AJ. I dreamed of being a Wondercolt...but still..." said Sonic in a low voice. Kala mews at him and he pets her. "So, Kala. What should I do? Should I follow my dreams and still be a Wondercolt or cut all ties and be an Astylar Knight?" said Sonic. Kala goes to his new Wondercolts uniform and paws at it. He holds his uniform and feels his heart beat calmly. "You're right, Kala. I'll remain a Wondercolt. And if the Astylar Knights got a problem with it, then they know where to find me," said Sonic in a proud voice. Kala mews and hops on his head purring softly. He looks at his watch and gasps. "Oh man! Sportscenter's on!" screamed Sonic as he cuts on the tv to watch ESPN'S Sportscenter. He really loves Sportscenter.

Nighttime has fallen in the city. At the home of Kira Chi, Kira, Kiya and Lucifer was all dressed up and ready for their dinner with Nasir and his family. Kira and Kiya was in their matching elegant Egyptian dresses while Lucifer was in his tuxedo. "I do hope they are not late," said Kira in a soft voice. Before he could say anything, there was a knock on the door. Kiya goes to the door and opens it to see Vasilis and his family of 3. "Good evening, Mr. & Mrs. Chi. We, the Vasilis family have arrived for our dinner date," he said as they bows at them. The Chi family bows back at them and Kira said "Please come in, Vasilis. This is Kiya, my big sister and her husband, Lucifer." He smiles at her as they come in their home and everyone greeted each other. Nasir and Kira hugs each other and form a passionate kiss.

They sit at the dinner table and the food was bring served. The food was roasted turkey with homemade gravy that Kiya learned from her mother's secret recipe, mash potaoes, tossed salad, dinner rolls and corn on a cob. For drinks, imported Egyptian wine, bloody maries and and mix of Ginger Ale and Root Beer sodas. As they were eating, Nasir said "This food is wonderful, Mrs. Chi." Kiya blushes softly and said "Thank you, Nasir. And please call me Kiya." "Of course, Kiya," said Nasir as he keeps eating. Shalana sips her wine and winks at Lucifer while he is blushing. "So, Vasilis. I heard that you place my sister in your play. Is that true?" asked Kiya. "Why yes, Mrs. Chi. It is a good play with historical importance," said Vasilis as he was eating. "I also heard that's it's going to be great play," said Nasira as she eats her bread. "Yes, well. I think that you are trying to push this on my dear wittle Kira," said Kiya as she acts motherly to her sister. "Oh, how so?" asked Vasilis. "It's a teacher's job to inform the parent if they want their child in a play. You, of all people, should know that," said Kiya in a confident voice. "Is that so? Well I don't want to upset you, Kiya," said Vasilis with a soft smile. "I'm glad that you are understanding," said Kiya as she though that she have won. "May I ask you a question, Kiya?" asked Vasilis. "Of course, Vasilis," said Kiya. "Well, I was wondering if you would let your beautiful sister become my dear nephew's betrothal?" asked Vasilis as he sips his bloody mary. Kira almost choked on her drink and looks at him with the 'What did you say?!' look on her face. "Oh...Are you actually asking to have the two lovebirds married? But they are still in school, Vasilis," said Kiya as she was looking at him."True, but I want them to see if they truly love each other," said Vasilis. "So this play you're making is some type of test?" asked Kiya as she sips on her wine. "Of course, Kiya. I remember those two always together. It would be a fun seeing these two in a play," said Shalana as she takes a bite out of her veal. "Well, I guess it should be fun. Plus, Kira's acting skills are getting better," said Lucifer while sipping his wine. "Plus, Vasilis had comp you two tickets," said Nasira as to sweeten the deal. "Free tickets? Well, I guess it's a deal then," said Kiya with a smile. "Hey! Don't I get a say in this?!" screamed Kira. Nasir holds her hand and said "Just give it up, Kira. You lost this fight." Kira hung her head in defeat and holds Nasir's hand tighter. Shalana smiles and said "This will be wonderful. A beautiful play featuring two future mates." Before Nasir can say anything, he gets a text on his phone from his servants. He gets his phone out and opens the text to read it. It reads:

Please tell Kira and her family to turn on the TV right now. The Astylar Academy Press Conference is going to start on EPSN.

He looks up and said "Guys, we need to turn the TV on now. The press conference of Astylar Academy is about to start." Kiya nods and said "Agreed, Nasir. Let's watch it." Everyone gets up and heads to the living room to watch the press conference.

Back at Sonic's home, he's talking to Dash on the phone as he was getting ready to watch the Astylar Academy. "So you're watching it, Skye?" asked Dash on the phone. "Yes Dashie. I'm watching it as we speak," said Sonic. "That's good. AJ said she's watching it too. I want to know what this school is up to," said Dash. "Just calm down, Dashie. It's starting right now," said Sonic. On the TV, Murcia, Thunder Lane & Charlene Sato comes up to the podium and bows at the reporters. "Hello everyone here and those watching TV. I am Murcia Sky, headmistress of Astylar Academy. I'm speaking on behalf of Mr. M. So any questions you have for him, I will answer them," said Murcia in a proud voice. A reporter gets up and said "I have a question. Over a few weeks ago, you put together a basketball team called Astylar Knights. Are those two players team captains for your team?" She chuckles and said "Why yes. That is true. Ms. Sato is the Team Captain of the Astylar Knights and Thunder Lane, our newest recuit, is co-Captain. Next question." Another reporter stands up and said "Is it true that you recuit top ranked players out of middle schools before the other schools can try to recuit them?" "Our plan is to try to give the recuits not only enough playing time on the court but also a better education. We have enough funding to house both students and student athletes. Now if you want to know how we got funding, that's classified information," said Murcia. A female reporter gets up and said "Janey Lin of the Sport Club Magazine. I heard that you was trying to recuit a player from the Middle School Championship game one year ago named Sonic Skychaser. However, he chose Canterlot High over your school. So, my readers want to know how did you feel about that?" Murcia tries to hold back the tears and said "Yes. We tried to recuit Mr. Skychaser last year. He was the most gifted player to ever put on a uniform. His moves are consisted being a true legend on the court. But unfortunately, he has chosen to be with the Canterlot High Wondercolts. However, if he ever want to become one of us, then we will welcome him with open and loving arms." A male reporter gets up and said "Jeff Black of EPSN. This is a question to Ms. Sato. There has been video that's been posted on the web of your 1-on-1 game against Sonic Skychaser where he beaten you in a very close game. The video already is gain 1 million views on YouTube and people are saying that they want to see a rematch between you two. Your thoughts on a possible rematch in the future." Charlene grins and said "Yes. I am planning a rematch against Mr. Skychaser in the future and when that happens with will be at Astylar Academy. You hear that, Skye?! I'm calling you out to a rematch in the up-coming future! Count on it!" Thuder Lane steps up and said "Oh, Ms. Sato. Even if you do call in that Skychaser punk, there's no way that he can beat you on our homecourt. In fact, I bet that him and his parents won't beat me and my parents in a 3-on-3 match here. But I'm sure that his parents are nothing but old fools riding on his success." Sonic growls at that comment made be Thunder and said "That no-named fink! Nobody talks trash about me or my parents and gets away with it!" The press conference ended and Murcia smiles at Charlene and Lane. "Very good, you two. I'm sure that will fire up Sonic. Now, you two get some sleep. We got a busy day tomorrow," said Murcia. They bow nods as they heads to their rooms for the night. She started to head to her room at the top of the school.

(In The Tower of Astylar Academy)

Murcia opens the door of the tower and sees a cloaked figure sitting in the bed looking over his crystal ball. She goes to him and holds him tightly. "You took too long, Murcia," said the cloaked figure. "I...I'm so sorry, my love. It's that reporters have been asking the questions and I was putting on a good show," said Murcia as she gulps in fear. "You're lucky that I'm trying to harness the magic in this world. I'm still weak from our travel to this world," said the cloaked man as he rubs his hand on her cheek. She blushes as she nuzzles his hand and said "Can I see your handsome face, my beloved?" He removes his cloak to show Murcia his beautiful dark skin. His medium short hair is dark red and his eyes are golden. "You are wonderful, Mesna. It's a shame we didn't get Skychaser," said Murcia as she caresses his cheek. He smiles softly and said "I know, my Murcia. I still can remember all the trouble I went to try and get him back when he was in middle school." They lay in the bed and remembers the time that they tried to get Sonic Skychaser.
