Disclaimer: I don't won Supernatural.
When they all returned to the dungeon it was to find Crowley sitting there with a smug grin on his face that Dean wished he could wipe off somehow, preferably by rearranging the dicks facial features. But he couldn't they were here to talk. Again.
"Where is she Crowley?" Dean asked standing in front of the king of hell with his arms crossed while he glared at him.
"Now, now squirrel. Why would I tell you that?" Crowley asked smugly, he had the Winchesters right where he wanted them now. He had them on the hook and all he had to do was reel them in. Oh yes. This was going exactly to plan.
"Fine, what do you want in return for her location?" Dean asked through gritted teeth. He really didn't want be having this conversation.
"Well lets see, I could ask for a room with a view, or maybe someone to play with." Crowley replied as if he was musing over the possibilities before turning and looking at Dean as if he was a simpleton. "I want my freedom you idiot." Crowley he stated. Surely even Squirrel could work that one out.
"No way in hell." Dean replied instantaneously. They were not letting Crowley out on the world, not again.
"Well I could always trade the location for prophet boys soul. He seems quite keen to finding mummy dearest." Crowley answered making Dean turn to find that Sam had a hold of Kevin to stop him interfering.
"Kevin. Don't." Dean said. He knew what the boy was thinking and feeling. Hell he had been there himself, he had sold his soul for Sam after all. He couldn't let Kevin do that for his mom. Which really did leave only one choice, not that he liked it one bit.
"Dean she my mom. I can't leave her, whether she is." Kevin pleaded with the elder Winchester, Dean talked about family all the time, surely he understood Kevin's pain.
"I know, kid." Dean replied to Kevin with a sigh before turning back to Crowley with hard eyes.
"Fine your freedom it is. Where is she?" Dean he demanded, he had had enough of this.
"Pucker up first princess, lets seal this deal." Crowley replied making kissing motions with his lips at Dean who just gave him a disgusted look.
"I ain't kissing you Crowley. You can go to hell if you think I'm doing that." Dean stated, oh no way was he kissing that bastard thank you very much.
"Oh Dean, I would love to go to hell. But that's beside the point, I'm afraid I can't take your word. Last time I did that I got royally screwed over, didn't I Castiel?" Crowley asked looking round Dean at the angel who was watching silently.
"Well then, seems you're staying as our house guest then. Enjoy the view." Dean interrupted before Castiel could reply.
With that he turned as if to leave the room making Kevin look at him with betrayal in his eyes and Crowley to narrow his at Dean's back. But it was all show. He would get what he wanted, all of it. Yes the plan was working.
"Well I could maybe come to some sort of arrangement." He said as if giving the Winchester a concession and not playing the part he wrote as soon as they came in here to find Kevin's mother.
"Such as?" Dean asked turning back to the demon. He didn't trust that look on his face. Crowley had another plan, and it was one that would not go well for them. But what Crowley didn't know was they had a secret weapon against him and his precious plans.
"Take me with you. I'll tell you where to go and once you have mummy you let me go." Crowley suggested as if it was a compromise. Dean could just see the problems with that plan. Not least that Crowley could get a load of demons to ambush them and they would get nothing.
"Dean, I don't think-" Sam started to say, having had the same thoughts as his older brother. Taking Crowley out of this place was just asking for trouble in his mind.
"Fine. But I have one more condition to add." Dean interrupted Sam. Time to pull out there weapon.
"What's that?" Crowley asked, wondering what on earth Dean thought he had that could stand against him, the king of hell.
"On the journey, you're going to be looked after by Loki." Dean stated with a feral smile which was echoed on the face of Gabriel who had stayed quietly in the back as the negotiations happened. Oh yes, he would happily watch over Crowley.
"Oh no, a pagan god. I'm so afraid." Crowley replied sarcasm dripping from his tone as he gave Gabriel a dismissive look.
"You should be." Dean replied the smile still firmly in place. He then turned to Gabriel and spoke. "Stay here and keep an eye on him while we pack, okay?"
"Yep Dean-o, no problem-o." Gabriel replied moving so he could take Dean's place in front of Crowley and let everyone else file out of the room to pack and plan.
"So tell me trickster, why is it Squirrel trusts you so much?" Crowley asked, genuinely intrigued, once they were alone.
"Dads knows, but he does." Gabriel replied with a shrug as if completely unconcerned about being alone with the king of hell.
"Dad knows?" Crowley asked confused by that sentence. He had never heard of Loki having a father.
"Yes." Gabriel replied with a smile and his eyes twinkling in a way that made Crowley realise he was missing something here. And it was something big.
"Who are you?" Crowley he asked, because he was starting to get a feel off of the being in front of him that he hadn't had before. And it was certainly not the feel of a pagan god that was for sure.
"Me? They call me Gabriel, the archangel now in charge of the host and heaven." Gabriel replied offhandedly before he bent down and placed his hands over Crowley's wrists, exactly where they were chained to the chair. His demeanour changing to completely serious as he got right into the face of the king of hell and spoke once more.
"Oh and one more thing Crowley. If you ever harm the Winchesters or anyone they call family, I will hunt you down and destroy in ways you couldn't possibly imagine. I am now the most power being in existence, so don't mess with me or mine. Capisce?"
At that Crowley's eyes widened as he realised just what he had got himself into. There was no way any of his plans would work against the being in front of him. He would have to go a long with his agreement with Dean now. At that he nodded his head slightly letting Gabriel know he had understood.
At the nod of Crowley's head Gabriel stood back up and smiled at him in a way that Crowley had never seen him smile before. It was one of pure power and arrogance, it was the smile of an archangel.
"good." was all Gabriel said and then he stood there and stared at the king of hell until Dean and Castiel came in with a hood and shoved it over Crowley's head so he couldn't see where they were going, and escorted him out of his prison, through some kind of building and up some stairs. He then found himself being unceremoniously pushing into the trunk of the impala once more and the lid being slammed down on him. It was not his favourite place to be that was for sure, but at least he had some time to process all he had discovered, and a moment away from the archangel who was now his jailer, if only temporarily.
