GAH I'm so so so sorry for the delay for the new chapter; I've been having extreme writers block with this chapter, and for a little bit I was debating if I should just skip this chapter or not...

...but here it is.

It's sort of a filler chapter, but slightly important at the same time, since it introduces a character who has some importance to the story.

Disclaimer: I do not own Danny Phantom.

"...I didn't have a reason,
For when I stopped believing,
But I needed you to know -
That I'm right where I belong..."

-Right Where I Belong, Good Charlotte

Two Weeks Later

I looked at my phone and smiled at the message from Danny. He was just saying good morning, but the way he says it makes me smile every time he sends me the text.

Danny and I have been dating for two weeks now. We told Sam and Tucker about our relationship the Monday after we had gotten together. Tucker had gone on about how it had taken Danny long enough to ask me out. Sam, however, smiled and gave me a hug. When I asked her about it, she just smiled and told me that she was fine with it, and that she actually knew that I've had a crush on Danny for the past couple of years.

Right now though, Danny and I are going on our first date. We're going to the movies to watch some action comedy about a pair of cops. His mom let him borrow their car (seeing as he's working to help pay for it) and he just picked me up.

Danny looked at me. "Do you want any popcorn?" he asked. I nodded. "I guess...maybe we can share some?" I asked. Danny smiled. "Alright, sounds like a plan." he said. We walked up to the snack counter and he started speaking to the girl behind it. I nervously shifted from foot to foot.

Danny walked back over to me, holding a bag of popcorn and two soda's, handing me one. "Come on. The movie's going to start in five minutes." he said. I nodded and Danny offered his arm to me. I grabbed onto it and we walked into the theater.

As the movie played on, I laughed at some of the funny parts, and at the same time, I would glance at Danny. I would either catch him looking at me, or watching the movie. I eventually felt his hand reach for mine and when he had grabbed it, he tangled our fingers together. I felt a smile spread on my face.

Then I felt a sudden chill. I looked around, and everyone else seemed fine. "D-Danny?" I whispered. "Yeah?" Danny asked. "Did...did you just...I don't know, feel a chill?" I asked. Danny shook his head. "No, why?" he asked. "Not...not even your ghost sense?"

Danny shook his head and I let out a breath. "Maybe...it was nothing." I whispered. Danny smiled at me. "Hey, don't worry about it, okay? If anything happens, I'm here." he said, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I nodded and Danny smiled, before looking back at the screen.

I suddenly felt something grab my arms and I looked around. "D-Danny...?" I started. Danny looked over, a look of alarm on his face, just before I felt my body float into the air and phase through the roof.

Danny silently cursed to himself and crouched so that he was underneath the seats and changed into his ghost form. He launched himself through the roof, in pursuit of whatever had Rachel.

I felt panic as I felt whatever held onto me drop me on to the roof of the theater. I scrambled to stand up, leaning against a wall for support, and I looked at them.

They looked like a boy, a few inches taller than Danny. His hair was brown, wavy, and fell to his chin. He's wearing a mask on his eyes, so I couldn't see them.

"Who...who are you...?" I asked. The boy tilted his head. "You mean you can't tell?" he asked. "You're not a ghost, how can you phase through objects?" I asked. The boy sighed and turned, walking across the roof. I slid to the ground and the boy looked back at me. "Rachel."

"How do you know my name?" I quickly asked. The boy walked over to me and crouched down in front of me. "So you don't remember middle school? At all?" he asked. I felt memories start to flood through my mind, but I pushed them away. I shook my head. "I...I..." I started, but I couldn't find the words to finish my thought.

The boy sighed, before smiling at me. "Jonesy."

I froze. I slowly looked at the boy as a wave of realization hit me. At that same moment, Danny phased through the roof. "Rachel!" he shouted, running over. He was about to hit the boy in front of me, but I stopped him.

"Wait..." I started. "What is it?" Danny asked. "I...I think I know him." I whispered. Danny's expression slightly softened as he helped me stand. I turned to look at the boy, who was now standing as well. "...W-Will...?"

The boy smiled and took his mask off, to reveal shining green eyes and a patch of freckles. "Hey there baby girl." he said, a grin on his face. I felt tears in my eyes and Danny and Will both got alarmed looks on their faces, before I hugged Will. I could feel Will sigh and hug me back. I pulled away and looked at him.

"Are you okay? How have you been?" Will asked, a smile on his face. I looked at Danny. "Should I...?" I started. Danny shrugged. "If you want to tell, him go ahead." he said. "I...have a boyfriend." I said. "Really? That's awesome! Who is it?" Will asked.

I looked at Danny and Will raised as eyebrow. "You're dating the ghost kid?" he asked. I looked between Will and Danny. Danny changed back into his normal form. "Huh. So the Fenton kid is the ghost boy. How about that. So wait, you're dating him?"

I nodded, feeling my cheeks warm slightly. A warm smile appeared on Will's face. "That's good. I'm happy for you Jonesy." he said, stepping forward and ruffling my hair. "Besides, I'm dating his sister now, so it's all good."

"Wait, what?" Danny asked. Will smiled sheepishly. "Actually, Jazz and I were coming to visit this weekend from college." he said. "Hold on." Danny said. "What?" Will asked. "Just how do you and Rachel know each other?" he asked. "Well...we were neighbors when our families lived in the same apartment building." Will said. "Then my mom and dad were able to get the house we live in now. I guess since then, we've become like siblings." I added.

"Well, that does make more sense." Danny said. I looked at Will. "So...what's up with your outfit?" I asked, referring to the mask, as well as the pair of black skinny jeans, black boots, dark blue, long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored jean jacket. Will shrugged. "Jazz's idea. She said that since I have powers, it's best to have a secret identity, if something happens."

"Speaking of, how long have you had these powers?" Danny asked. "Well, since I was born, actually."Will said. "Why is this the first time I'm hearing about it?" I asked. "Well...I never really knew how to tell anyone. The only ones who knew were my parents, who are psychics themselves." Will said. "What powers do you have, exactly?"

"Well, I can fly, I move things with my mind, which is also called telekinesis. I can make other things invisible as well as myself, which was how I was able to get us to the roof, and I can shoot beams and balls of energy." Will said, crossing his arms.

"Wow, that's...incredible!" Danny said, smiling. Will shrugged. "You get used to the powers the longer you have them."
